If I could give this place a 0 star I would. Where to begin, seems like about almost 2 months ago we were supposed to get a pressure washer we took to get a simple fix and the lady at the Front which is useless cuz every time we called in she would give no info but the fact that itll be ready in 6 weeks like seriously!!!!???? Finally it was 6 weeks and NOTHING was done. DONT recommend coming here & DONT waste your time at this place... we had to go pick up the pressure washer because they still havent even started on it and it was probably going to take god knows how long, we rather fix it ourselves cuz this place was & is useless....What a disappointment.... nothing here in Mt Home is worth going to....

Great store, I go here for my lawn and garden needs, small engine repair and most specially tolls. The folks are friendly and helpful and I love that I can rent big tolls and machinery from them. Great prices.

They tend to have whatever I cannot get at another local store but the overall selection is more limited. Staff are always friendly and quick to offer help.

Ive always loved hometown hardware/ lumber stores. So it came as no surprise to receive excellent assistance with my menial need of some nails and washers at excellent prices that remind me of home.

Wow. I actually dont know where to begin without sounding, however righteously, mean. So, I would just encourage folks seeking hardware or lumber and courteous service to look elsewhere.

Very dishonest when it comes to fixing your equipment. They will make things up that they claim is wrong with it. Very slow turn around it can take 3 weeks to get your equipment back. Unprofessional and rude. I am not sure how they are still in business. I would recommend going to Jims Lumber or Carrs Lumber. I will not return to this place. I will go to Boise before I shop there again.

I called to ask about a SOD cutter and was told there was a half day rate (4hrs) or full day rate (from open to close). When I picked up the SOD cutter I once again confirmed if I had it back within 4 hrs it would be a discounted rate. When I returned the equipment they charged me for a Full day. I mentioned that when I called and when I picked up I was told it would be discounted if returned within 4 hrs. The older man keep insisting that there are no half days for the SOD cutter. Next thing I know he is hollering in the back for the guy that I picked it up from, he comes out and tells me oh I’m sorry if I told you that I am new and don’t know everything..... I said that’s fine and all but shouldn’t be my problem... needless to say I still had to pay a full day rate and will not be returning. Terrible customer service for a small town. Not sure how they are still in business.

Bought a pellet stove October 2017 within days they were already replacing parts. (Have my receipt and video of them at my place) November 2018 not turning on again on a product that cost almost $2,000. Just like that not one care, made a call complained about it and not once did they send someone to look at it as a matter of fact they got offended. Takes hard work to make $2,000 nothing is handed over to us but they could care less! I will not buy one single thing from this place ever again!!!!!!

Dropped off a brand New Husqvarna lawnmower than wouldnt run. Was told by person behind counter, if it was fuel related it wasnt covered by Husqvarna warranty. Looked at warranty on-line, not what Husqvarna website said. 3 weeks after drop-off, finally got it back with a $57.00 bill for bad gas and wrong sparkplug. That same gas is being used in 2 other lawnmowers with no problem (its 91 octane Ethanol Free) and the sparkplug is the one that came in it new, a 1 week old mower. Should have known better than buy from local Mountain Home businesses, you will get screwed every time. Never again!!!

This place is horrible. I bought a generator and he said it would power my motor home. It shorted out. On top of that the handle fell off and wheel fell off in one day. The mechanic broke the oil nozzle when he put oil in and just jammed another one in to fix it. This was supposedly a new generator and now he refuses to refund me even though I had it for one day. They said I had to bring it back to be repaired because the company that makes those doesnt take them back. Ive never heard of anything like this. I did it though and over a month later its still not fixed and when I complained I was told I could just come pick it up if I wanted (broke). I will never shop here again and I have never had such a horrific experience. Shopping here was a $700.00 mistake

Bought a lawnmower two days ago but the lawnmower was underpowered for my lawn ask for a refund or pay for one. That would do the job but was told once you brought one you cant bring it back never.

Jace and his staff are great, they work hard to take care of all your needs. Backed up by Do it Best online store to store delivery. Quality livestock feed, friendly folks & service, just about everything you could need for your home/yard.

Went in for simple bi-pass door hardware. Expensive, no customer service walked out with NO purchase. A month ago went in for a couple things, spent $60.00 and Jace Prow was in a hurry to rush us out the door. Will Not go back, even though the small engine guy is friendly knowledgeable and a genuine person!!

After my horrifying experience at Carrs, it was an absolutely wonderful experience the moment I walk in. Subsequently, I have made many trips back, and every time has been pleasant.

They are the friendliest folk and knowledgeable in ever aspects of construction. My go-to DIY jobs.

Very friendly and helpful staff, and not afraid to tell you where you can find something if they dont have it in stock. Ill always stop here first before driving to the box stores in Boise.

Being someone who used to work there I know the ins and outs of the business scheme that jace runs. The pay is very low and all of the equipment is not being maintenanced well. Theres always a leak or something plugged. We have had many customer complaints. He expects his workers to work in poor conditions and wants a high rate of return. His supplies that he sells are too expensive. I guess its very wrong to ask a boss if he could put a shop heater in the shop so his employees dont get sick in the winter time. Hes very cheap and only desires money for his pocket.

The service is horrible. My soon needed a 1 by 1/4 pice of wood for a school project and they wouldnt give him the time of day. He came home empty handed.
