I purchased 2 items online at the local Mountain Home Hometown Sears store website that were in stock for local pickup so Id be sure to get them before they sold out since it was 3 days before Christmas. I used my Visa to pay in full, got a confirmation number and 2 hours later at the store, I was refused the items right in front of me that the clerk had in her hands. She said without the email from the Sears store she couldnt give them to me. She called the local owner and yes, thats right he told her - No Can Do-must wait for the email. !*? I even looked up my Capital One account and showed her the transaction at their store, but she wasnt interested in it at all. This made no sense to me as a customer who had already paid in full for in stock items that said store pickup!!! Could they not even TRY to call someone at the headquarters first, or even ask me if I wanted to cancel the first purchase, then purchase them again right there at the register so I didnt have to go home and come back? No sense of customer service to me was what I walked away with. I get it that stores have rules, policies, whatever, but this was bad that they didnt even try to come up with a way to get the items in my hands right then and there. The clerk ended up calling me an hour later to say I could pick them up now, so I drove back to town and got them. If this wasnt something I needed that the store happened to have, I would have just said forget it. I can tell you that Ill think twice before ever looking at this store for anything again. Too many other choices with businesses who actually want customers and appreciate them for buying their inventory.
Great customer service at the Sears store in Mountain Home Arkansas! The new owner and crew are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They go the extra mile to make their customers happy. They helped answer all my questions and the delivery/ installation crew made everything so easy. I recently purchased a new Kenmore gas range and they gave me the best deal they possibly could! All the guys at Sears, from sales to service, are so friendly and helpful!!! A great store now for Mountain Home and those big purchases!

Wow ! I thought that The service and quality days were long gone.Not at the Sears home town store.These people worked like a well oiled machine.I found myself with a big soppy mess when my fridge went out over night.I called around and found that Sears had a great price on a new fridge.Hubby went there, paid for it,and about an hr. later This great guy ( Mr. Coleman was bringing in the new one. all by himself.Within minutes he had my front door off .he took out my old one, brought in the new one, put my door back on without a scratch anywhere.He even set the new fridge for me to the factory setting cleaned up behind himself too.Thanks guys for your expertise and service.

Tonight the guys at this Sears Hometown Store went above and beyond to help me get a much needed washer and dryer. They were extremely friendly and helpful! They didnt try to push me into buying something I didnt want or couldnt afford. The new owner JR really went out of his way to help me. I will definitely be making future purchases through this store! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
People are friendly but incompetent. If they have to order your product you can expect it to take six months to a year to come in. Sorriest service ever.
They had what I was looking for and thats always a plus. I think they guy helping us either didnt want to or got upset we didnt want the extended warranty. Either case, fairly nice Sears Hometown Store. Reasonable prices too.

Took forever to get my freezer but wasnt their fault, due to the Times with covd. Have always liked Sears.
You could refund the $130 you charged to my grandmothers card to use a lighter and a nose to check for gas leaks, and refund the stove that your contractor said would work which now sits as a table in the kitchen.
These guys helped me find a new riding lawnmower that fit my needs they had great knowledge on product go out and see them I highly recommend these guys prices are great!
Liked it but feel like I shouldnt had to pay for delivery. I paid cash. Im a Sears card holder. I live 1 mile from Wal-Mart.

They never seem to know what has been ordered, takes forever for something thats just sitting waiting for pickup. Guy that checked me out had a massive wad of chew, was dressed in torn and dirty clothes, and was hard to understand because of the wad of chew 🤢 they could definitely do better

Staff was helpful. Unfortunately was able to purchase refrigerator with warranty for less elsewhere. Will come back when we need another appliance.

I purchased my high wheel line trimmer here in Mountain Home. Its under warranty. I called today to get it repaired, it wont start, and I was told I had to take it to Mountain View. ??????? Nothing bad to say about the store here but no way Ill purchase anything else if I have to go to Mountain View for repairs. UPDATE. Called Sears again to complain and they stated there is no Sears in Mountain Home Arkansas. ?????

I drove 100 miles to get lawn mower blades for my mower told the service tech what i wanted even ask are you sure and he said oh yes they only make one for that that mower i get home an see he gave me mulch blades in stead of the high lift i asked for now another 100 miles wasted why ask for help even called a head of time to be sure they had them to top it off called today to say hay you gave me the wrong blade to have Rodney tell me to bad its all they have use them or bring them back my choice i have never been treated so poorly never again will we buy at this outlet thanks hope this helps others the craftman 7400 sercies riding mower is junk stay away from it an the 500 dollar 5 year service plan its a joke
