Store was suprisingly slow for A Friday evening. It is one of the cleanest most well lit HF Ive ever seen. Staff was over the top helpful and after getting my must have items i was able to shop/browse for a while, all in all it was a great tool buying trip.

Purchased a 3gal air compressor that I needed in a pinch. Set up my pneumatic hose, pulled the compressor out of the box, and found the power cord to be in slightly used shape.Attempted to return the product (that I dont really need, my pinch has passed), and was informed I would have to pay a 20% restocking fee. Pretty clear they already restocked this product once.Furthermore, the manager accused me of the damage! 😳

Out of all the HF stores Ive shopped, This location is my favorite. The employees are always in a great mood & very helpful. The store is always clean & usually well stocked with great deals.

Not good quality tools, bought a impact drill went to use it (my father used it) and it broke on the first use. went back after driving 30 miles and wouldn’t answer their phones... went back there and they said they couldn’t return it since it was broken, and since we didn’t buy a replacement plan. i thought their stuff was on a 90 day replacement, their honestly a joke, wouldn’t buy there again! home depot or lowe’s is the best around. they’ll actually help you. NEVER stepping foot in there again

Should not have done away with their 20% off coupons.

Nice variety of choices but beware of sombre tool sets like torx and Allen key sets with no size markings. Got a ties screwdriver set with no size markings at all. You have to guess what it is. Also tool sets like Allen wenches on handles with sizes marked in different locations.

Needed a small nail gun, got the gun and some nails for it. Only cost 40 bucks. Saved me a ton of time puttin the trim up in our new kitchen.

The Harbor Freight in Mtn. Home, Ar associates are rude. Could careless if you just drove an hour to find something. They did not want to help to answer any questions I had, nor availability of the jack. They could careless about you at all. So, I just ordered the air-jack I needed offline.

Some pretty good deals. The battery operated power tools were expensive after adding a charger and battery, and they offered no combo sets for a better deal. Off brand drill, $50. Decent battery, $60. Charger, $30. It wasnt adding up for the power tools. Others were decent priced though.

The best harbor freight I have ever been in

Love Harbor Freight. I had an issue with my receipt and went back in. The new lady had made a mistake but the manager stepped in and made it right with a smile on his face and a wonderful attitude. The people are kind and helpful. The only down side is that they may sell an item but not replacement parts for it.

Im like a kid in a candy store. Good prices. The only problem is my girlfriend trying to get me out of the store!

OMG... The best tool store in the world. Male or female, you WILL find something for everyone you know especially yourself. Whether its tools for your car or your workshop, there is something for all. The prices, dont get me started. It should be a crime to sell things so cheap, but I think I am happy that affordability is high on their list of quality traits. All tools I have ever gotten from there are high quality. Love this store.

This tool chain had a bad rap a few years ago. But now they have outstanding tools at rock bottom prices. And their warranty beats any other tool company around. Employees are eager to help and go out of their way to find you what you are looking for.

Awesome service and selection. Their warranties are super easy. Break a tool, just bring it in, pick the replacement and thats it! We literally just warrantied at least 10 different ones with no fuss at all!

From 5 stars to 2 stars, claim to have products in stock online at this location that they dont actually have in stock in the store. Before you waste your time and money I recommend you call them and see if item is actually in stock at this location ...... Clean, fair prices, friendly staff.

This place was very clean and well kept, unlike some other harbor freight stores Ive been to. Very well lit, nice displays, with prices, good selection of tools and equipment. As always good prices but some cheap made stuff too.

You best know what you are looking for and above all be sure to check the item packaging so you do not have to make unnecessary trips back as their personnel are not very helpful I WILL NOT RETURN

Okay, first I love Harbor Freight Tools as much as I do a Hobby Lobby! That being said, this one has all your basic HFT items and finds. The store is clean and well organized. The restrooms have always been spotless when I have went. The service here is lacking in can I help you skills, but the store is nice. Not a fan of how the parking lot is(little crazy setup there lol) but I will and have returned often.

As always they have some pretty good prices, just depends on what you need, and how long you need the tool, products, or other items. I got a 4.5 electric grinder for home projects, and still holding up well, I bought a heavy duty dolly, has held up great considering it was half the price of other stores! Bought the low profile 3 ton floor jack, and love it, especially the price. I have bought things that I changed my mind about later or found better quality on sale, and as long as you have your receipt within 90 days theyll refund the money no problem! So it all depends on what you need, and how your going to use it, Ive got a couple of things that didnt hold up, and were basically junk! The only place in Mountain Home to buy DIY tools good selection excellent prices. Most power tools are on the low end of the quality Spectrum. But great for the average homeowner or small shop guy. Only downside is the lines at check-out can be quite long and you have to have coupons for them to give you any discount on products.

My husband loves Harbor Freight. This was our first visit to the Mountain Home store and it did not disappoint. Very clean, organized, and the staff was super friendly.

If you dont want to spend a lot on a tool or drop cloth, flashlight, hand tool, powertool, car Jack, chain saw, double bladed axe, welding supplies. Safety equipment, tiewraps, rope,sumppumps, motorcycle Jack or engine hoist, then this is the place to come! If you dont see it ask for it. The only drawback that you may find is if you are a busy professional and your going to use your power tool hard several days a week, then some of the more expensive name brands may suit you better. Great staff. Challenge you to come out without something extra, I cant.

I cant say enough about this store and I been to 8 or 10 of their stores. Very helpful staff, knowledgeable about tool use. Of they show you a tool, they will also inform you about products they have that go along with that product. Which I get to know better how a can use a tool in a way I might not have thought of.

This place is horrible. Called the day before we drove an hour to get a winch. They told me the 20% coupon would work. And so nope it does not work on winches. An hour drove for nothing. Never shop at this place again.

Go here with your coupons for the freebies and simple items, brushes, tarps, etc. My experience with their inexpensive tools and supplies are that you get what you pay for, but Im the first to admit that I havent purchased any high end tools here yet.
