I went to porters to get my oil changed, wheels rotated, and a balance. The whole staff there is very friendly and helpful. I sat outside for not even an hour and they were done faster than I expected.After I left, I noticed there was a popping sound when I turned my wheel. I came back to the store and the guys there dropped everything to take a look at the sound for me. It ended up being a quick 5 minute fix nothing big at all. But it still means a lot to me that they were so quick and eager to help me. It is the only place around that I can really trust. I recommend them to anybody!

Always receive good service and fair prices at this location. We try to not go anywhere else if possible! This is one of the few places in the area where my wife can take our vehicles; and they dont try to rip her off, or treat her like she doesnt know anything. 👍Highly recommend.

Purchased tires, took it back twice. Then they wanted to charge me. Went to the talbot store and come to find out they only had 1 store that could balance my tires and it wasnt that one. Never again and reporting to the BBB.

They have a tire changer there who gives his all for the Customer and will even say a Prayer for you and will give God thanks all the Glory for what he has done. Prompt service, wide range of tires in stock, and they literally bang it out right in front of you. Theyre quick and efficient, its neat to watch them swap tires so smoothly.

Porters in talbott didnt have our size tire so they sent us to buffalo trail Porters which did. We bought 2 new ones and rotated others. In and out 20-30min. Not to bad considering other places have taken hour + for one..

They were able to order my tire(oddball size 235/30r22)and install it within 5.5hrs.Being 2hrs from home,it was immaculate service

Very nice folks! Great experience! They swapped out a rim for me including the TPMS sensor and a rotation and balance quickly and also took an extra step to let me know that my front brake pads were getting low. Had an appointment, still waited 45min before they even pulled my vehicle in. Had alignment done, left and found out they left a bolt loose. Went back and told them, and again left, and found the same bolt still loose. Took it elsewhere. And couldnt even find a place to pull in and park. I usually go to the one on Davy Crockett. I will again.

My Jeep had an alignment issue and Im from out of town. I dropped it off here because they have a fantastic rating on google and it really shows. They were fast and efficient. Even though I did not make an appointment they were still able to fit me in that afternoon. I was able to drop my car off in the morning and (since I couldnt get it that day) pick it up the next day. Wonderful people here. Drove all the way back to the coast of North Carolina with absolutely no problems

Definitely wouldnt recommend going to the buffalo trail location for any kind of alignment issues or tire balancing, whoever they pay there to do that kind of work apparently doesnt know what they are doing very well. Just bought 4 new tires there last week had a alignment check it was off a little and the toe was bent out of place said they fixed it which cost me $ but it has only made it worse. This happened the first time I took my car to them too but I thought Id give them another chance sincethey are nice people. Definitely wont be spending another penny there considering I now have to take some where else for them to figure out what Porters done wrong

These people are wonderful! I told them that I was taking a trip to Texas. They checked my car out to make sure everything was in good working order. I got a great price on a set of high quality tires and an alignment. They even checked my spare to make sure it was safe. You cant go wrong if you go to Porters. They take care of you as if youre family.

Bought some hankook tires that only lasted 12k miles. I brought it in to have them looked at and was told it was due to an alignment and over inflation. I thought they was discounting me a new set of tires due to it only lasting 12,000 miles and i had the warranty on them but instead they just sold me cheaper tires. I had an alignment done before I had the new tires put on and was told that my car couldnt be perfect because its a bmw. I talked to the tech after that and he said I needed new lower bushings and he told management to tell me that but they never did. And i learned all this AFTER my new tires was already on them. Then they told me my warranty wont cover them if the vehicle is out of alignment. So now Im rushing to replace parts I could of had done before I put the new tires on. Then they set my tires to the same PSI I always set my tires at that they considered over inflated. The lack communication in this place is astounding and they will try anything to get out of doing warranty replacements. I will not be back and I will not refer anyone to use this place.

It was my first trip to Porter Tire so I didnt know what to expect. I was greeted politely as soon as I arrived. I told them what I needed and they began the work immediately. I waited inside the office and was treated very well by the clerk. My work was completed promptly and I was on my way. I was very impressed by every aspect of my visit. Very friendly staff and service! They fixed my vehicle in 4 hours. I had a front end alignment, outer tire rod replaced on my passenger side and the driver side axel shaft was replaced. My only complaint is my battery was fine when I left it with them and when I picked it up, it had died. They gave my a jump, Ive not had problems since. Parts and labor was cheap, I highly recommend them!

I am so disappointed! After reading the reviews I had high hopes for Porter tire. They were a deviation from our normal tire guy but he is always a 2 week wait minimum for an appointment and we were in a rush. So, short story, they had a timely opening and we took it. I should have waited the 2 weeks and used my normal guy. Even though I was PLANNING on buying 2 new brand name tires and have it aligned (spending roughly $700) and I drive a 2000 model mini van, I was treated like a second rate citizen and barely even spoken to while I was there! I WAITED on the work to be completed and they KNEW I was waiting, I still had to find my van parked around front and go asking if it was done. Still not sure how long I waited before going outside and finding it!All in All, if you are rich and/or stupid with your money, youll be treated fine I expect but if you are frugal, on a budget, drive an old vehicle? Dont bother with this place, they will take advantage of you if they can and make you feel like a lesser person for not allowing it if not!Point to the CURRENT OWNER? Just a thought but the old man in the pictures didnt build a business like the one you received by treating the little guy like crap! The sweat on those mens brow GAVE HIM the business you enjoy now owning. Would he approve of the way I was treated WITH YOU IN THE BUILDING??? I highly doubt it!

I heard great things about porter tires, buffalo trail, however, when I went I was extremely disappointed. My experience with porter tires was horrible and unprofessional. When I pulled up and parked I was asked to move my car and ignored when I asked a question. Jacks and tools were everywhere. Some hoses laying in front of the doors I almost tripped on. I saw an employee smoking around a customers car. It was unorganized and confusing. I walked in and didn’t know where to go. The waiting room had no employees in it to talk to so I walked out and bought new tires elsewhere. Good thing I’m not a money hungry guy I could of tripped on the hose and sued. I will never return, and will discourage anyone from going there.

Ive used Porters Tire Store since I first started driving at the age of 16. Im now 47 and still using them for all my wheel and tire purchases. And I will be using them till I die. And now my 16 year old son will soon be a new customer for them. There is no better tire store in this town. Such great Christian people to deal with. And for me that means more then going somewhere else to save a few dollars. I know I am going to be treated fairly beforehand and will receive great customer service.

I bought my first tire here when I felt I was ripped off at another business and that did nothing to remedy the problem. So far all the tires I have purchased here have been great! I recently stopped because I had a flat on one of my tires(which my son took elsewhere to plug) and it was still a problem. The tire had not been repaired properly and they fixed it---no charge! I have also had brakes replaced on my vehicle there. Staff is friendly and efficient.

I stopped at Buffalo Trail store because I had a tire leaking. The guys put air in it and sent me on my way. A few weeks later, after having to continue to put air in my tire, I went to the Tazewell store. Cody took the tire off, put it in a bath as he called it. Still couldn’t find the leak. He was persistent. He took the time to break the tire down to look inside. Guess what he found. A nail that had pushed through the the out side so it could not have been seen unless it had been broken down. Cody Frye is the best. Misty Cook the receptionist is also great. She is always very helpful and friendly. The Buffalo Trail people could take some lessons from the Tazewell crew.

As usual were very accommodating, I ordered the wrong size of tires. They sent me to the Store in Morristown that had them. So I wouldnt have to wait another 2 days for the right one to come in.
