I have waited for a couple of days to ensure I was not rash in leaving a negative review. My initial request through Rusty Wallace was to a person identifying themselves as Ronnie over text messages. They were very terse and vague with no effort in pitching a sale (more on this individual later). The current market for any consumer product is OUTLANDISH and that is selling it short. I had a decent time with our sales person, I would sat 4/5 stars for Lee for reserving the vehicle and assisting us. I did the leg work of finding the car at their dealership and knew exactly what i wanted. However, in the current market cars are selling themselves so little leg work is needed on a sales level. I will say that once I see the car in detail it was better than I was expecting. The detailer was very professional and was very proud of his work (which is hard to find in the workforce now and this is not sarcasm). The detailer was 5/5 hands down. Now let’s get to work the normal experience begins. Of course most are asking above MSRP plus all the bogus fees and smiles that the dealership gets my screwing over a customer. Dealing with if memory serves Jesse he was more than boastful of how amazing their fees were compared to other dealers. Honestly, take pride in not screwing over the customer and keep morality over greed (i.e, take pride in what you do). Jesse was sure to state that they would not budge in any numbers because of the current inflation, even commenting on how their doc fees (which is a fee covering normal administration of any company, imagine Walmart charging $10 more for each item you purchase so they could pay for paper and the cart return person) were always in place and cheaper than ANYWHERE ELSE. Now in my initial dealings with Rodney he gave us a quote for a different car of a document fee of $99, after I had to go to the dealership in person because he was either preoccupied too lazy to replay over a text. I was basically told in front of my family I was a bold face liar and this never occurred in a very pompous manner. I leave 2/5 due to the lack of professionalism on whoever Rodney is and Jesse in finance. If they took half the pride in what they do for a living as a detailer does it would be well worth the extra fees. The attitude and lack of care for a customer is as outlandish as our current economy. If Japan Toyota seen how this place operates they would be ashamed. The GM called and apologize after the review of the experience on Toyota Corp. However, nothing was accomplished or changed after the experience other than sorry for the confusion.

Bought a roof rack to haul my kayak. When I went to install it the screw where stripped. Rack had 12 month warranty and they said they could replace it. After the new one came in they made me wait 2 hours to tell me that the screws where messed up after they done knew and had the replacement there. Then I had to wait 2 months and got feed b.s. of we are waiting on someone to email back. I am a supervisor also and I know that it dont take that long to get emailed back. So I had to take it apart and re tap the threads and fix it myself because they have wasted 2 months of fishing for me. I would not recommend them to anyone when It comes to help with warranty or any parts.

Bought a used Tacoma Truck, I will say I checked here last Saturday but the salesman then didn’t seem interested in selling me a truck. I told the service department about it and was told to contact Heath if I was interested in a truck. Today I went back to Toyota and asked to speak to Heath and he hooked me up with the most knowledgeable and sweetest salesman. Dagean Long was ready to answer all my questions and was even brave enough to ride with me while I test drove several trucks. My daughter and I bought her college car there a few weeks ago. We had Jimmy Campbell as our salesman, he did a wonderful job and was very pleasant. All things were going as planned until we needed to have further assistance post purchase. I spoke with the finance man, David Barton who was very unprofessional and offered no assistance, in his words “Tiffany, there is nothing I can do for you!!”. After many conversations, I have learned per my bank this could have been resolved but now it is going to take me months and cost several hundred dollars. Please people buy with caution and please avoid Mr. Barton.

It was my first time at this dealership, and I had made an appointment a week in advance for general vehicle services (5k mile service) to my vehicle. I went there and they told me theres only one mechanic on duty and he wouldnt have time to do most of the said maintenance work, so he did the bare minimum. The bill was very low (who doesnt like that, right?) but I took it to Toyota Knoxville today for the 10,000 mile general service and the service bill was double what my normal average usually is because of the lack of work that was done here at Rusty Wallace.... Toyota Knoxville is out of the way for me if you live in the New Market area, but Ill definitely make the trip for excellence for service work since there are multiple mechanics on duty every day

I have purchased FIVE vehicles from Rusty Wallace Toyota. We bought all of these vehicles with the help of Scott Winstead. He has never been pushy and has always found the right vehicle for us. Scott is a great guy! We will definitely come to Scott for future purchases.We purchased a 1999 Camry and still have this car. We started having a few issued that needed to be repaired. I came in and spoke with David Stout in the Service Department about the problems I was having. He took his time to help me. I really appreciate that too. Also, he let me speak with the technician who would be working on my car. I met with Dustin Lambert, who explained to me every detail about the repairs that needed to be made to the car. I dont know anything about car repairs, but he made sure I understood everything. He went above and beyond to help me. The car has been repaired and runs like a new one with almost 200,000 miles!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Guys!
