Very good experience at Freedom Kia. I called at least ten different Kia dealerships and they offered the lowest price. Car had to be ordered due to low inventory (like every dealer in the country). Worked with Cobey and he was very honest and upfront about the whole process. The car arrived much earlier than expected and was exactly what we ordered. Everyone was very helpful and I never felt pressured at any point. I would definitely buy from them again!

If you read any review please read this one. I spent $440.96 and I didn’t get checked on once the entire 2 and a half hours I was waiting. The customer next to me was checked on about every hour or so though. She also got a tour of the service area which I thought was nice, however I had never been there before either and wasn’t offered the same treatment. There was also another customer who had his dogs with him, I don’t mind that they cared more about the dogs than giving me or another customer an update but it just felt strange since one of the workers said she wasn’t even sure if dogs were allowed in the waiting area. Your keys get left in the ignition which I find strange too. The waiting area was really nice though and very clean. I liked the layout a lot and while it definitely wasn’t a bad place to wait for so long, it just would’ve been nice to talk about what’s going on with my car instead of being asked what my name was twice.

Set up the deal from out of state a month prior to the vehicle arriving with a small deposit, the vehicle showed up on schedule, came in the next day to complete the purchase, and had no surprises. We were updated every step of the way by the salesman (Cobey) and Manager (Mike). Our purchase packet was ready, Finance was ready, the vehicle was cleaned and ready to roll in a special delivery area, and they beat my banks Finance options. I couldn’t have imagined a better/more prepared experience than what they provided. Great folks. 10/10 would recommend. Freedom Kia of Morgantown is an absolute joke. I didnt just buy 1 car, over the past 3 years I have bought 3 cars. Had my 2017 Kia Forte5 for not even a month when the fuel injector blew out of it. After fighting them for 3 days I finally got a loaner car and my bill knocked down to $885 instead of a $1,000. I shouldnt have had to pay a dime ! Will never go back. Rude people and just all together they are only out for your money.

This was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. Considering that our local Kia dealership was up charging vehicles by $5000 to $7000 we were willing to check other places. We came across Freedom Kia of Morgantown by way one of our friends. We made the trip to Morgantown and the experience was very straight forward. No haggling over prices or the usual negotiation schemes that other dealerships do. The price was the price and they did not up charge any at all. We were able to order our vehicle exactly the way we wanted it with no fuss. Considering that the vehicle we wanted was in extremely high demand we were told that it could take from 8 weeks to 4 months for the vehicle to arrive. Our sales associate Chad Neer stayed in constant contact with us, giving us updates. We were pleasantly surprised when we were notified that our vehicle was on its way after just a few short weeks. Most of the paperwork was sent to us to sign digitally so that when we arrived for delivery, things would be a quick and easy process. And it was! When we picked up our vehicle, we signed a few more papers and we were ready to take delivery. Chad as well as the rest of the staff at Freedom Kia of Morgantown were most helpful at making sure we knew about all of the safety and convenience features of the vehicle. I will definitely return whenever it is time for our next purchase.

I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with my local Kia dealership - Freedom Kia. Last Saturday morning, I was having an issue starting my car - a Hyundai Sonata. My Hyundai service department was closed, but they suggested I call Kia because of the similarities of the vehicles. I called their service department 1 hour before they closed and spoke to a VERY helpful gentleman - Chris. Chris and I agreed it sounded like my starter was bad and if I could make it to the dealership, they could look at it. I finally got the car started, drove over, and met Chris. Chris helped me every step of the way - he updated me on the status of my vehicle, kept me informed on a timeline for repair, and even helped me get squared in a rental when it was decided to leave my car there until Monday. I told the service manage that Chris earned a good star that morning, not only because of the service he provided, but mostly because THAT WAS CHRIS 1ST DAY ON THE JOB!!!!The world needs more people like Chris!Well done, Freedom Kia, especially Chris - I couldnt be happier!!!

Got a fantastic vehicle with low pressure sales and a fantastic deal. What a top notch dealership. The staff is respectful, friendly, and knowledgeable. If you havent given Kia a chance you absolutely should. I went from an Audi to this and there is almost no difference in the driving experience but the Kia is significantly less expensive. They dealership worked hard to find my specific vehicle with the exterior and interior colors I was looking for and found it very quickly. Will recommend this place to everyone.

Terrible experience at this dealership. I was emailing in the evening about a specific car I wanted to see the next day. The appointment was confirmed for the next morning. When I arrived the next morning, the sales person told me the car had sold the evening before and he knew that it had sold the evening before but wanted to show me cars several thousand above my stated budget. I had taken time off work and driven an hour to see a specific car. If I had been informed the car had sold, I would have been able to make a proper decision about whether to keep the appointment or not (other dealerships did this exact thing and I really appreciated that they respected my time). Instead, I felt manipulated from the moment I walked in the door. I was told that “price doesn’t matter” when looking at a car. Sure, it doesn’t matter to the sales person but I’m the person paying for it and if I say it matters, it matters. I was also told that it didn’t matter what car he sold me, that he gets paid if he sells me a car. I assume he meant this to be comforting(?) but it had the opposite effect. Overall, I didn’t feel heard in my needs or wants, or respected in regards to my time. It was a very high pressure and uncomfortable situation that felt manipulative for the sake of making a sale. I bought a car elsewhere and will not be returning to dealership again.

Customer service has really gone downhill. From being asked What do you want me to do with that? when giving an insurance claim number to being told I couldnt pick up my car because the insurance hadnt paid when the reason they hadnt paid was because the service department hadnt given them the estimate after two weeks - just really poor training and poor customer service. It was as if they had never handled an insurance claim before. When calling to speak to someone, youre given dial 0 for operator option and you are then cut off the phone. Service manager never returned my call, so obviously problems start at the top. The insurance claims office inadvertently called Kia of Clarksburg and was told they didnt have the car. WHO in this equation knows Freedom Kia has 2 locations? Freedom Kia. Just laziness. Worst experience I have ever had at any car dealership, ever. And if you cant find my service record to view the basis of my complaint its because my information hasnt been updated, although it was requested.

Online scheduling is so convenient! The service department was ready to take my car right away. I chose to wait at the dealership for service. The waiting area is large, comfortable, and has snacks and drinks available. They offer a shuttle service, if you wish. We are happy with the service at Freedom Kia.

My father was very pleased with our sales agent and how helpful he was, anything my father my not have understood, he explained it to him with patience and a had very professional approach . My dad is all about old ways and has yet to bow to the new wicked ways of living life so talking to a sales agent or just going to a car lot alone is an uncomfortable situation for the old man but not here, Freedom Kias sales associate made him feel welcome, and put everything in perspective so that my old man didnt feel out of place . Bought a 2017 Acadia from them in July. We have put almost $2000 into it already. New battery, new breaks, and computer issues that have caused AC issues. These issues were first discovered while on vacation not even a week after we purchased the vehicle.

Booking online was smooth and easy. They took me right away at the time they were supposed to. Where to go at the dealership was clear and easy. Pricing is fair and they didn’t try to over sell me things I didn’t need. The time estimate for the work was accurate. As a nice bonus, they even washed my car.

I liked going here initially, but each time I went, I feel like the experience has gotten worse. The previous time I went in, they told me my brakes desperately needed replaced (2-3mm left on the pads). I took my car to a family friend’s shop and they said it was closer to 6-7mm and had plenty of time still left. I actually took it back to Kia and got a completely different set of measurements only a week after than their initial measurements. I just went in the other day and it was 2-3mm again (it’s been nearly 6 months since the last time, so this was more believable this time). When I asked how much it’d cost, they quoted me about $460 because they had a “sale” going on so I said sure. It wasn’t until after the bait and switch that they told me it was also $500 of labor for it. When someone asks you how much it will cost, obviously you should include the cost of labor too. I didnt get a deal at all. So if youre looking for a place that will lie to you about your cars problems and lie to you about the cost to fix the problem so youre forced to pay it afterwards, visit Freedom Kia of Morgantown for all of your shady business practices. Oh yeah, and on a previous time from these two, they got drops of oil on my passenger seat and my center console was covered in something else. Had to clean the inside of my car afterwards and still havent gotten the stain out.

I took my car in for a state inspection. Took one half hour, the waiting room was nice. I didnt realize that they had pointed both side view mirrors down and in until I was out in traffic. Thankfully no accident.

On a road trip to WV we had a tire blow out. Terrifying to say the least. Hobbled our way over to Freedom Kia where they took great care of us. They got us a tire at a great price and got us out of the door and back on the road quickly. I would highly recommend this dealership. The guys in the service area were knowledgeable and friendly. Biggest ripoff dealer in the area and that is saying a lot. Lied to numerous times. Charged or a broken exhaust that was obviously cut off in their parking lot after I turned the vehicle in. How could I have even driven it without earplugs. See picture below. Stay away unless you like poor service and being lied to.

I purchased my first vehicle at Kia in Morgantown and it was a 2016 Kia Soul on February 28, 2020. I was told that when I purchased it they would fix the dents, horrible cigarette smell, and I’d have a extra key fob. I called every month once a week trying to get them to hold to their end of the deal. Finally the end of June I was able to get ahold of the general manager after him avoiding me for 2 weeks that he agreed to hold up to his end of the deal. They had my car for 4 days only for them to do a extra key fob. They won’t fix the dents because they are only giving me a “$200 allowance” and the cigarette smell is still so horrible. I asked to speak to the general manager and was told he was in a meeting after he walked passed me 3 times. I honestly wouldn’t recommend anyone to Kia in Morgantown. Dorsey the general manager is a joke. Obviously a mans word means nothing to him. Never again will I deal with Kia in Morgantown.

I would not buy a car nor have it serviced anywhere other than Freedom Kia of Morgantown. They are 100% the best dealership Ive ever been to. At Freedom Kia of Morgantown, they do not try to price gouge, they are honest people and they care about you, your needs and your budget.

To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. From the very beginning I received very poor treatment. They have not done anything that was promised and paid for. First maintenance visit, they put way too much oil in car. Second maintenance visit, they broke personal items on car and didn’t apologize or offer to fix it. Third maintenance visit, they were to rotate tires(which I paid for) and they didn’t touch them and made me wait 6 hours to do it (with an appointment). Had to get new tires after only 10 months. New brakes after 8 months. Had to replace a relay twice. Had to go and pay for inspection ( which was supposed to be free). Attempted to call numerous times and was hung up on. Tried leaving messages which was never returned and was even called a liar. Definitely will never return to this dealership and would not refer anyone there, not even my worst enemy.
