I was looking for a very specific color Jeep Wrangler for my winter house in Florida - Gobi Metallic, with black leather interior for quite some time and came across one, on the internet, at this dealer.I reached out on their website and was contacted by their sales team who went over the car with me. I asked, specifically, if there were any issues with the car, since I was buying over the internet and would not be seeing the car, that I needed to know about before making an offer; dents, burns, rust etc. I was told the only issue was the interior trim was hydro-dipped in some weird blue and red pattern. They sent pictures and, after determining the cost to replace all of the ugly dipped pieces, I made a cash offer, which they accepted.I sent a check and called to see if I physically had to show up at the dealer or if I could, as I have with several other cars in the past, simply wait for the funds to clear before sending a transport truck to pick it up. Unfortunately, WV state law dictates that I would have to come there to prove my identity, so I booked a flight and arranged to pick up the Jeep at 9 AM on Wednesday December 30th, in order to drive it down to Florida that day.On the 30th I arrived at 5 minutes to 9 and I was greeted at the door by my salesman, who told me he had just taken the car to fill the tank with gas (which is important later) and had all the paperwork ready and, as I requested got me out of the dealer in about 15 minutes since I had an 1088 mile trip ahead of me...this is where things take a turn for the worse.I get in the car and, literally, the first thing I notice is the windshield is cracked. I call the salesman who came outside with his manager and verified the windshield issue. Ultimately, the manager agreed to pay to replace the windshield. Had that been the only issue, this would have been a glowing 5 star review, however, it was just the start of things you dont expect to deal with at a franchise or corporate dealer.Since I was using my phone for navigation when I left I didnt have the radio on until I got onto the highway, at which point I realized the radio was incapable of reaching any station, am or fm. I also noticed that there was space between the radio and the trim around the radio which I tried to push in, but it kept popping back out, I figured with was just an antenna issue and a clip problem and kept driving.When I finally stopped for gas, when I pulled the gas cap cover door open, the entire gas cap cover pulled away from the car, which, to be sure, the salesman knew about since he fueled up the car that morning. While fueling up I looked around the car and saw minor blemishes, to be expected on a 3 year old car. I also found that the door hinges were covered in rust, something one would not expect, and, something the salesman should have alerted me of when I asked him about blemishes. I also popped the dash back and found that two of the metal clips on the dash that secure it in place were missing which is why the dash was not secure.When I got to Florida the next day I gave the car a good once over and found that the element that attached to the rear window to power the rear defroster was detached from the window, thus disabling the ability for me to use the rear defrost. I also inspected the tires and found that the four tires on the car were all hitting their wear indicators and the spare tire was in terrible shape.These are all issues that the salesman, if he was honest, should have told me about. I reached out to the GM, Ryan Shank, on Monday January 4, but he did not answer. I left him a message, however, at this point, I have not heard back which, considering how mislead I was, is to be expected. I bought from a dealer because they inspect the cars, however, I dont believe this car was ever inspected! The fact that they believed this vehicle was in acceptable condition to be sold should concern anyone looking to purchase a used car from these people.I have attached pictures in order to prevent the dealer from denying their negligence.

Truthfully I never really have been a fan of Subarus .... but after my accident I put a lot of time into researching the market and Subarus were winning all the way around the board. So thats when I decided to take the plunge . Ken was my sales associate. I was an over the phone shopper pretty much and he made me feel like I was right there in the store . I have a super tight work schedule and he worked with me every step of the way to make sure my needs were met at the time of delivery . When I arrived at the dealership and barely had time to get out of the car and he was there to greet me . He was so polite and courteous . Ken really did take thr time to explain every feature every button everything. What I really liked was that he also took the time to explain these features to my daughter who is a new teenager driver. The whole process was so quick and fluid and informative . I walked away a super happy customer with my new 2021 Subaru Forrester. To be totally honest I am in love with this car . I am so glad I made this decision . I am so grateful for the Morgantown Subaru staff, especially Ken Bodnovich. He knocked this sale out of thr ball park!!!! I will definitely be a repeat customer!

First off the quality of Subarus have gone extremely down hill. The quality has not kept up with the high demand over the past decade. Second and most importantly, Morgantown Subaru has to be the laziest, rudest, and down right disrespectful group of people I have ever had to deal with. The service department will purposefully rip you off. The salesmen want you to beg them to buy a car. Take your business elsewhere because these people are horrible.

Having received various auto services in Morgantown and surrounding areas, I can say the team at Subaru of Morgantown does a superb job. Worth noting that the service is under relatively new management, Ive noticed much more transparency now than 3 years ago when bringing in my past Subaru. Josh Phelan sold us our car. Id highly recommend him, he met me and my fiancee where we are at (broke college students) working around our wonky work schedules to get us a reasonable deal before Christmas, and came in on his free day the week of to wrap up details. The cars are fairly priced based on KBB and the team will work with financing to make sure they get you a competitive price. The team seems to get along and have a good work culture. I hope to return for service and maintenance in the future!

My husband and I purchased a car in January 2021. We have yet to receive our license plate. We have the registration but still no plate. The car has been assigned a plate. After contacting John Howard they told us that PA was 90 days behind on getting plates out. Went to AAA to see if we could expedite getting the plate but were told we would have to pay for licensure again if they did it for us. AAA said the dealer should have the plate or should get it for us. We should not have to pay again for the plate.

They post cars on CarGuru that are not yet ready for sale or have even gone through their shop.They had FOUR vehicles on Car Guru, two of which we were really interested in. Salesman called in the morning and said both vehicles were available.Vehicle 1 was just taken on trade apparently. It was trashed. Vehicle 2 and 3 were in the shop. Salesman didn’t have a clue on Vehicle 3. (Found on lot across the street after we left.Sent an email to sales manager - no response.Taking my business elsewhere.

DON’T DO BUSINESS HERE! They lied to me about when my vehicle would be available. They didn’t honor my one request about not putting the inspection sticker in the window since I was registering it in Maryland. Then the kicker…. Over a month later and they haven’t sent the payoff check for my trade in. I’ve been trying for a couple weeks now to get this straightened out with them but they have done NOTHING and now I can’t even get anyone from finance on the phone. I had to file a complaint with Subaru corporate and hopefully I can get it resolved that way. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Drove a couple hours from out of state to purchase a CPO 2018 Forester xt. Candice was really great in communicating with us and made the purchasing really easy and stress free. AVOID AT ALL COSTSsaw a car in the web and went to purchase it. When I arrived I was told it was sold. Bud the salesman says i can leave $1000 and he will find a car. Maybe not my first color choice but a car. I wanted a car that day but ok. Left them 1000 cash. After 2 days I had not heard anything from Bud. I checked Spangler Subaru. They had a car in my first color choice. For 800 less than these clowns. I bought a great subaru at Spangler in 3 hours. AND SAVED 800 bucks. Then Bud wont return a call. He did respond to an email but 10 days later No refund of deposit. I left a phone messages No response. Yesterday the phone rang for 8 minutes and no one picked up. Worst dealership ever. And thieves.

I have recently - Saturday - gotten a car here and I’m so pleased I did. Looking at this I have two perspectives to share: sentimental and objective. I had Sam Simpson as my “salesman” and I cannot sing his praises higher. This was my first time buying so generalizations and stereotypes had made the lead-up very anxiety-filled. Simultaneously with researching cars, I was reading articles on how I should remove myself from the TV-made salesman that would, I thought, inevitably corner me into something I wasn’t ready or willing to do. I met with Sam Thursday to test drive and crunch numbers. When we walked into his office there was a brief time where he had left to grab something elsewhere in the building and I was scurrying through notes I had made for myself on my phone to make sure I was ready to get up and walk away when he started to con me. Though I think this know-how is still important to have, I never needed it once. Sam made me feel comfortable throughout the entire 3 day process. His business card reads “consultant” and I think that word is very fitting. I never looked at the interactions as sales. He made it a priority to lay out my options at all times and placed the ball in my court to let me make all the decisions all the time. He knew the car and even though I had done enough research to understand 80-85% of what the car offered, he didn’t assume anything and went over all aspects even asking me multiple times to make sure I was confident during any interaction around operating features. He had made himself available throughout the rest of the days even though he was with customers for all of my on-the-spot pop-up questions. This is so important for me add because I know so many people think this should be the case though it’s really above and beyond. He could’ve told me to come in to answer questions that way I wasn’t taking away from other customer interactions but he took the time during the other days to get back with me and I’m thankful for that. I would highly recommend anyone in my boat or otherwise to meet with Sam when they become in the market. From the sentimental view, I’m in love with the car I chose. Because often times reviews are based on the experience and not the product I feel it doesn’t cover it all. When the product works for you as the consumer it’s important to let that be known. I’m still in the honeymoon stage but I couldn’t have had a better vehicle. The driving experience is so nice it’s addicting. I hope to come back with a more detailed review with how it holds up over time so that I can confirm or deny the validity of what’s being sold on top of the buying experience. I decided to buy my husband a newer car. I connected with Bill “Smitty”, for the second time. I was so happy with the vehicle he sold us last year, I felt he would deliver to my specific requests, a second time. And of course he came through. He is knowledgeable, and fair. I basically gave Bill the specifics of what I wanted and he helped me find the perfect car. I have no complaints about the purchasing process through Subaru of Morgantown, and will return in a few years to upgrade. I have to say, the mechanics at the garage were amazing! I had an incident with my vehicle and was in a bind, without hesitation those amazing men helped me in an instant! They did an amazing job and made sure that I was able to make it home safely and thoroughly explained what my next steps needed to be! They also didnt charge me an arm and a leg! The garage up the road from them when I asked them for help the manager turned a cold shoulder to me and said he didnt know what he could do. When all I needed was a simple wire! I purchased my 2020 Impreza back in May 2020 and while I am happy with the car itself im struggling with the rest of the process. 3 weeks after purchasing the car i was contacted that i signed papers for the black car and Vin # rather than the Blue one a drove off the lot with. Honest mistake, i was understanding. After a week we met up and i signed the papers on the correct one (I still have not received the copies of the new paper work and Ive called 2 or 3 times on this issue alone..) after many other issues like dead temp tags with wrong Vin #(called about a new tag and they told me i dont need one cause my state wont pull me over because of Covid and i called my local sheriffs dept. and they said they will pull me over but chances are they would need to see my proof of an appt at the MVA to be let go. thats if they are ok with my expired temp tag with the wrong Vin# on it)) Due to COVID my state MVA was closed so I had asked them to write the check to me...weeks later i finally received the check written to the MVA by then thats ok my MVA has opened back up for appts so i book one ASAP and show up to realize half the paperwork they need still have the WRONG vin on them had to walk out without tags. They pass the issue on to the 4th person to get the paper work straight. Here is it the end of August(31st) and i still do not have the tags on my car. I try very hard to be understanding that things happen but this is becoming very stressful and costing me extra money and gas to be running around over and over again. between my mom, my sister, and I we have bought multiple vehicles from you this dealership and im not sure at this point if I would recommend you to anyone else or return. I thought buying a brand new car wouldnt have as many stressful things to happen but its been nothing but stress and anxiety of getting pulled over at every turn and how much more money is this going to cost me after it all said and done.

Walked in a week ago to test drive a 2018 Subaru Outback that I viewed on their webpage. Had an appointment with Grant. What an incredibly easy process with zero pressure. Traded in my older vehicle and was offered a very fair trade-in price. The entire process from start to finish was extremely transparent, no surprises at any time. After visiting two other dealerships outside of the area (one being another Subaru dealer and the salesman seemed highly disinterested in making a sale), I stopped in here solely to look at one specific used vehicle. Candice was super nice, knowledgeable, and had no issues with letting me test drive another vehicle I was interested in. I ended up deciding on the first vehicle and she was more than happy to meet every single one of my requests. Additionally, she checked in with me a few times after the sale to ensure that I was happy with my purchase. She lessened the hectic stress of the car-buying experience and for that I am VERY thankful!She was dealing with another sale while I was there BUT I had visited without an appointment on a busy Saturday morning. I worked with both Josh P. and James from sales on the purchase of my 2020 Subaru Ascent Touring Edition. They were able to get me the car I loved at the price that worked me for. They were beyond patient, answered every and all questions, and were very easy to work with. Most dealerships hound you into paying too much and too high of an interest rate because they want to make as much off of you as they can. Excellent purchasing experience! This is my 7th Subaru. Extremely happy with the quality of my 2020 Outback. Sales staff was great, no pressure to purchase and easy to work with. I had expected this from Subaru of Morgantown as I had purchased from them before. What I didnt expect was the excellent follow up from their team after the purchase. Very happy with the experience and will definitely be back.
