This review has been long overdue. What can I say? Weve been coming here for years now and its simply the best ice cream Ive ever had. Any reviews that are not 5 stars are FAKE NEWS!Not only is their food delicious, but their service is IMPECCABLE. The workers are warm, friendly, and patient. Absolute Zero is the standard-bearer for what great food and great service should look like in any establishment. Give them your business, NOW!P.S. Disregard any dunderheads that complain about the wait times. You need to use your brain and order ahead! The only reason you have to wait is because their ice cream is so euphorically delicious which undoubtedly creates a high demand!

The ice cream is so good. They are very careful if you let them know you have allergies or dietary issues! I have celiac and they had gluten free Oreos! I let them know and they used a clean station to make my ice cream. Big thanks! Highly recommend!

Small place indoors. Accepts one group at a time, so you would have to wait outside to order if anything.Theres a big chalkboard menu with creative names and descriptions. You order what you want and theres an option to get the basic toppings it comes with, or state whatever toppings you want. After you place the orders, the workers request you to wait outdoors and will bring out the cups to you.There are about 3 to 4 tables right outside on the sidewalk, and in front of the door there are clorox/lysol wipes you can use. We used it to wipe down the table + chairs.Making 4 ice cream orders took about 10 mins.My group of 4 in total ordered matcha with mochi, strawberries and peppero/pocky, oreo with strawberry and marshmallow, peanut butter with reeses, and I ordered oreo with granola and almonds.

The workers are super nice and the ice is well-made and the price is worth it. Would recommend to try it with friends.

I want to start with the process of making this . This looks so satisfying. They have different flavors. You can chose your flavor and topping from the verity of choice . It’s not overpriced. It taste like just ice cream. They don’t have parking. But their are plenty of parking in the street but they are meter parking and sometimes it’s hard to find near to store. They have some seating space . It takes little while but worth the time .

Good: ice cream is really tasty.Not so good: ice cream preparation is slow, if you see line outside it means youll get your ice cream in about 30-40 minutes. But this means its fresh, theyre making this for you right now.Bad: for the average cone they charge you $7.50. But during checkout theyll ask for a tip between 15-25%, and if youre going with the middle, ice cream becomes $9 for average size cone.It was nice to try, but dont think will be coming back soon.

Very unique take on ice cream! I have to say this is one of the best tasting ice creams that Ive ever had. I got the berry blast and they literally take all the berries, mash them together with the liquid ice cream, spread it around on the metal plate, and make rolls of ice cream for you! Truly wonderful to watch! I literally couldnt stop watching them make it. The taste is superb and you can add all the toppings you like. The only negative thing would be the wait, which was nearly 45 minutes. However, being that this is a rather lengthy process and the end result so satisfying, its well worth it. Staff was friendly and vocal and the place itself was very tastefully decorated. Check it out!

Love it here, such a cute shop. They have great ice cream and it’s fresh too. Maybe you want to take a look at what you want before going there because you don’t want to stand there too long thinking about what you want but regardless it’s delicious.

The Ice Cream Is made In front of you so that you can see what they are putting in it and so you can maybe try at home. They Ice Cream tastes like heaven in a cup and one cup usually takes less that 5 minutes. Last time I went was with 5 people and all of our orders were ready in less than 15 minutes. You should definitely try it.

Love this place! All the ingredients are super fresh. I think what makes the experience so great is seeing your ice cream being made right in front of you. The weekends can get a bit crowded but the line moves pretty fast.

Prices ($7/cup), dessert and atmosphere are great! Worth drive for awesome service! Definitely gets packed during the weekend but moves fast (5 min wait). Only reason they get a 4/5 is some of the toppings arent fresh (brownie & nuts).

Wait was significant (probably 25 minutes) but worth it as they actually have devised a unique way to prepare and serve ice cream. My daughter LOVED it and I even took video of them preparing it. Most importantly it tasted great!

One of the most unique and delicious ice cream experiences of my life. The unfrozen mixtures of ice cream are poured onto a super chilled surface and mixed right before your eyes with whatever ingredients you’ve chosen. Once thoroughly mixed, they flatten it and roll it for your cup. The burst of flavor in each bite is incredible, especially for the less common flavors. If you want incredible ice cream and a story to share, definitely stop in and get some ice cream here.

On Saturday evening I went to Absolute Zero and was very impressed with the precautionary measures that they took in regards to COVID. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and quick as they worked to complete countless orders. Their offering of a vegan ice cream option was what brought us in and it was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back.

Fantastic visit. Stopped by at 8:45 on a Tuesday night...a few folks already eating inside, but a super-short line. I decided on a Strawberry Shortcake, but with Oreos instead of Graham Crackers. As is usual with rolled ice cream joints, everything was fresh, and prepared right in front of me. Great taste, good mixture of add-ins. I would have liked a little more strawberry, but thats my personal preference. Im in town for a week-long work trip....and Ill definitely come back before I jet home. Thanks, yall!

All choices looked interesting and the price is about $7 ..I had the strawberry banana nutella with almonds and fruity pebbles...I can honestly say it was probably some of the best ice cream Ive ever had and its crazy how they make it from milk right in front of you..highly approved

Finally I had the pleasure to partake.Absolute Zero is a whole culinary experience especially as it relates to fresh, frozen treats. Havent been impressed like this since Kayagorki another frozen treat/experience.The staff serve you with a smile then commence to prepare your ice cream rolls. I chose Owl You Need is Coffee made with Vietnamese Coffee and condensed milk. The process looks similar to preparation of pizza, its fascinating to witness the coffee and creme change texture culminating into intoxicating desert rolls. There are several toppings to choose from at no extra cost. I added fresh coconut, almonds and cacao chips. Words cannot describe how delicious my desert was. Well worth my $7! Theres usually a wait due to the nature of the product. Trust and believe that good things come to those that wait.

Since we didnt know that until after we had dinner, we just decided to come another time.We went when it was colder and the wait wasnt as long. I got the Oo-Bae Bae (Ube with condensed milk + coconut flakes) with pocky & teddy grahams. It was my first time having having ube ice cream and cashier was nice enough to offer me a sample of the base. Its a light and sweet flavor. Its different but its pleasant-- nothing to not like about it.My boyfriend had the Peanut Butter Me Up with Nutter Butter cookies mixed in and Reeses + caramel on top. I never get peanut butter ice cream but this was so good I would get it for myself. The peanut butter wasnt overpowering and the nutter butter gave it a nice crunch. My boyfriend, who LOVES peanut butter, said he liked it but we wouldve wanted more of the peanut butter flavor. What does he know anyway? Lol.I love that you can get unlimited toppings. I kept it light since it was my first time having ube and didnt want to go overboard. However, the light flavor of the ice cream allows room for toppings without the overwhelming sugar overload.All around good experience for me. Ill definitely be back.

They have vegan options, which is great! Its a coconut milk base and I got Oreos with raspberries and chocolate syrup. All vegan. It was a lot creamier than I expected and great flavor. Great treat to share with the doggy!Suggestions:-please bring in the vegan whip cream!

The owners are normally there- they help rolling and are the nicest people- their energy and vibe is super friendly and welcoming.. and then their ice cream is so good!! You’ll want to go even when its freezing outside! Super generous with topping also!

I came here with my friends, after completing an escape room nearby for someones birthday, and it was amazing, not only was their ice cream delicious and new, but it was at a reasonable price, whoch we appreciated. The staff is so nice and create a welcoming environment for customers. 10/10 recommend!

Great ice cream. Incredibly friendly staff especially given the hard work they put in to make the ice dream. This is as much performance as food. They pour liquid ice cream on freezing round plates and mix and chop it until they chap roll it off the platter, making perfect ice cream rolls. They also mix in any ingredients you want. Their flavors include grown up ones as well. Its expensive but worth the visit.

My favorite ice cream experience ever was having Rolled ice cream here. They have so many toppings to choose from and watching the process of the creation was exciting. The ice cream was also really creamy (I got peanut butter flavor w a crushed nutter butter and Reese’s cup) and the toasted marshmallow was really awesome.THEY ALSO HAVE COLOR CHANGING SPOOONS.Definitely prepare to be in line if you go on a hot day. It’ll be worth the wait 😊

It was an absolute treat!

I loved the taste of the ice cream. The cream is so fresh and its pretty cool to see how they make your dessert from beginning to end. You simply walk up to the register, choose your flavor, and pay. They only have one size which is decent and keeps the stress of choosing at a minimu. They take your name and have you watch them make everything. After its done you have a reasonable amount of toppings to choose from. This spot is great whether youre alone, with friends, or with the kids. Parking spots are all nearby as well.

This is such a cool place! We walked in one day when we looking for an ice cream place and we didnt even realize what kind of ice cream place it is. Its so much fun to watch them make it and it tastes amazing! Staff our friendly and quick and everything is very clean. I took my parents here when they visited from Virginia and they loved it too. My mom cant wait to go back when she comes up here again.

Excellent ice cream. Maybe the best Ive ever had (and Ive tried many, many different places!) The service is fantastic as well. Watching them make the rolls is highly entertaining. The technical part to how the ice cream is made - super cold and rolled into something that displays well is clear. The gritty feel of chopped fruit and the flash frozen dessert as well as the creamy taste above anyones memory of ice cream is evident at first taste. There are better ways to have ice cream.

Cool downtown ice cream place making ice cream in Thai style, just like I.C.E NYC but with more stations making fresh ice cream right in front of your eyes. They have good mix of options and flavoring, and good customer service. Definitely worth a try if you are craving for an ice cream and are in Montclair area.

Fun trendy Thai ice cream. So popular and successful that the line is out the door for their winter opening! I cant imagine how insane this place will be in the summer, but it speaks volumes that they can survive and thrive during a period that most ice cream close for the season.

I love this place so much. Theyre always coming up with new flavors & I love the fact that you can see them make it in front of you & there are unlimited toppings. The ice cream is a bit pricey & sometimes the wait can be long, but it deserves a 5 star. Mark, Carmelo, James, & Renzo are professionals at making this and extra points for them because they look quite handsome too
