I recently purchased a supposedly certified pre-owned vehicle from one of the two big rental agencies, but within a month of easy driving - 638 miles - the check engine light came on. Since the transaction with that particular agency (not Hertz) had left me far less than satisfied, I decided to give Metro Nissan a try. Im glad I did! Everything about the Metro experience was easy and stress-free. I was able to book a same-day appointment online, and before I had even shut off the engine, the service adviser, Sergio Gonzalez came out and found me. It turns out that they needed to replace the throttle chamber assembly (something that could have been fairly expensive). Sergio, did some checking though and was able to have the work covered under warranty and I was back on the road in no time at all. Needless to say, I will be conducting all of my future business with Metro. Sergio was friendly and professional in every way, and the rest of the staff were awesome as well. Thank you Sergio, and thank you Metro Nissan. You have a customer for life.

I took my 2014 Nissan Quest there for diagnostics as my engine was acting funny and check engine light came on. Spoke to John Williams, he was very professional and courteous, he took care of me and my car. Within two hours of dropping my car, John called me and give me details of the issue. Upon my approval of charges they fixed my car within one day. Very happy, yes will go again.

Called Montclair Nissan on a Wednesday regarding a recall on my 2011 Altima. I was given several appointment options. I took the earilest available which was the next morning at 7:45a. was there at 7:40. The technician was very very courteous and cheerful. He assured me my car would be ready in less than 2 hours. true to his word I was driving out about 1-1/2 hours later. Im very please with the service I received.
Disappointed, There was an $8,000 difference between the Advertised Price and the actual price once I got there, it was over 30% more, on an used Nissan Kicks, not even a premium vehicle. I understand the current auto market conditions but the lack of clarity is unacceptable.

This is my first time at this location for service. All the workers I saw were kind, courteous, and professional and I appreciated how quick and efficient they were in getting me and my car in and out. Though there was a line when I got there in the morning I didn’t have to wait long and I was seen immediately. While I was waiting, I was reassured they would send someone to help me which I appreciated it a lot as I know there were others ahead of me. Purchased my 2014 Nissan Altima from Metro Nissan in Montclair and maintained my car but its having the seven year issues. But service/repair shop, John Williams, mechanics, and young ladies in payment area are courteous and good people/employees. I have purchased four vehicles from this reputable dealership.
No no and no. They weren’t honest and ran my credit to 10+ banks without actually telling me (and I was the co-signer!. I understand car salesmen need their commissions, but it’s also important to be honest with people. Beware.

I like the fact they inspect your vehicle gives you and idea of what you need to keep an eye on what needs repairs, keeping you alert so you wont let it go through major damage. Really satisfied good service.
I first got my Nissan at Carson and got great service there first and the several times after for service. Same goes for Montclair, always great service so far, very professional service and easygoing. Maybe just a minor suggestion to have a larger waiting room area either in the show room or the store for more space but otherwise no complaints. Angel Hinojos helped me today and i believe he helped me last time as well and so far great service as well. Keep it up.

The salesman Antonio Cano is not trustworthy at all. He ran my credit and did not give me a copy of my credit score, (it is my right to receive one), even after asking him several times. I called him the first time asking for the copy, he said he would send it in a couple minutes, I never received it. I called a second time, he said he would send it in 10 minutes, I never got it. If he cannot follow through with something as simple, I would not trust him ever with a car purchase transaction. I will not be returning to complete the vehicle purchase for this mere reason.

I have been taking my vehicles for service for the past 6 yrs and never had issues but had a bad experience about 3 months ago but I decided to give them another chance and today I had an appointment was advised it would be about 2 hrs to do the service which is understandable seeing how busy they were so I had no problem waiting., but at 2.5 hrs I’m asking how much longer, first they couldn’t locate my vehicle in the computer log so I had to show them where it had been sitting then they tell me that nothing had been done to my vehicle because the service guy never put in the ticket. Definitely will not be going here ever again.. if I could give them 0 stars I would..
My experience with Metro Nissan of Montclair has always been amazing. Everyone is so helpful and the technicians are very knowledgeable. They ask lots of questions so they know how to best advise you and I never get the feeling I am just being sold or upgraded something. I bought my car from this dealership and have taken my car to them every time for maintenance. I know I can trust Metro Nissan to look out for me which is why I bring my car in if there is even a question that something is off with my car.
Quick efficient and painless. Took my car in for a oil change technicians examined and did a full inspection of the car and found that I needed some services done and my brakes where bad. I had them complete the work and now my family is safer for it. Thanks you

BAD BUSINESS: My experience with this dealership was disappointing. They were dishonest and although they even offered a gift card for test drive, I didnt receive as they mentioned. I also received a phone call and shared my experience and again offered a gift card,yet again they didnt send. The sales rep. tried to include an alarm that hiked up the price offered. When I declined and shared I wasnt interested he seemed rude. I also saw they ran my credit to over 10 banks even though I didnt ask them to which was not right considering I told them I wasnt considering purchasing with the price and alarm. Yes it seems they do this and its not right.

This place is so frustrating. I was so frustrated here. Im back today to get my vehicle checked out and Patrick is so generous and kind. I was so frustrated with my vehicle but then he helped me relax. He for sure has great customer experience! Its always a great pleasure to have great customer service when your frustrated.
They wanted 900.00 to fix the horn. I went somewhere else and they fixed it for 300.00. The part cost me 200.00 and labor 100.00. The mechanic said that the clockspring was missing a plastic cover that rotates the wires so they dont get tangled. The mechanic said that it is very hard to break a horn with no damage to the outside wheel. So Nissan technicians did not replace the the clockspring housing correctly. So in my opinion, they are responsible for the horn not working. WARNING TO OTHERS, if you have the same problem, then dont take it to nissan of Montclair, Steve the service writer, gave me the quote without even checking it.

Service department is really slow. If you need weekly status of your vehicle which has been there for more than a month, you better call because they wont.
I took my Nissan, Rouge to Metro Nissan of Montclair, Patrick helped me. I had my oil changed and tires rotated. Once the car was serviced, the car was running great! A few hours later, my car was not running so great. I noticed it was leaking oil. Prior to this visit, I havent had any problems with my car. I took my car back during work hours and Angel helped me. Angel noticed drain plug washer was leaking and had it replaced and added more oil to my car. Im not happy with the way my car is running now and I dont like to give reviews. I would just like your service department to be aware of my experience with Metro Nissan of Montclair.
Horrible service they had my car from October until March . Pay for my car December drove it off and had to take it back 20 minutes later. Took my car in for a ECM and they charge me almost $8,000 and my car still had the same problem would not recommend to go there.

Im 9 months pregnant made an appointment to see a car they said they had on the lot and when I went in to look at it they said it sold the night before. And then made me wait around to look at something I didnt want in 100 degrees. I do not recommend this dealership they will lie to you to get you in.
