4.5 stars.They had forgot to return my good tire after mounting two new ones for to road damage to one of the two tires. I reminded them and they brought it out. Otherwise they were fairly fast and professional. A much better experience than Ive had in the past at this location.

HORRIBLE. I paid $78 for a tire rotation & oil change and left without my hubcap and tire caps! Dropped my car off for a basic service, drove it home down the street, parked in my garage woke up and my hubcap was gone. I contacted the garage and “after reviewing the tapes” they told me they put it back on. So from my drive down the street my hubcap randomly fell off. First time in 5 years? They also didn’t put any of the tire caps on. Lazy. Unfriendly staff, unacceptable service. I was told they can order a new hubcap and I can pay for it? It only fell off because of THEM?? GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

I would like to give them 0 stars. DONT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE. I made an appointment online yesterday for an oil and filter change at 2:30 p.m. Showed up and dropped the car. I decided to go for lunch and wait for their call. The person who received the keys confirmed my phone and said they would call me. I saw the shop was going to be open until 7:00 p.m. And I patiently waited for their call. I live 3 blocks away from the place so when I saw it was almost 7 I decided to walk there to find the store closed and my car locked inside. My fiancé went this morning because I needed the car to drive to work and the guy at the desk said they didnt do ANYTHING TO MY CAR. They had my car for 4,5 hours and couldnt do the simplest procedure of all. No calls, nothing to let me know I would not get my service. Is unprofessional, disrespectful, and irresponsible to do something like that.

Update:There is an average price mark up of 68.4% between what the part actually costs versus what Firestone charged me for the exact same part. In total I was unnecessarily overcharged 178.03! The excessive mark up they justify is normal in the industry and has nothing to do with any shortage or demand in goods. On top of all of this every time I bring my car in I never get back any of my tire caps. Very Poor.Original post:I went in for brake service and almost immediately felt like I was getting fleeced. They tried to charge me for a brake inspection fee of $21 despite them having already checking my brakes on my previous visit and recommending that I change my rear rotors and pads. I told the cashier Martin to not charge me for it as all I wanted done was the recommended work and an oil change. I received a phone call later that day stating that my parts would need to be ordered and would be arriving the day. The next day after the work was completed I came to find out that I was charged $324 for the parts alone. AutoZone, Rock Auto and every other part store only charges 220 for all the parts (high quality plus 3 year warranty). I wound up paying over $520 for the work and the inspection fee which I did not want also appeared. When I asked for that fee to be removed the manager waived $10 off the total $21 and refused to give me the inspection report that they had already performed. All in all I was Ripped off for at least $110 dollars. I do not even know the name brand or quality of the parts used and am highly suspicious this is an ongoing issue. Im hoping regional management could look into this. 1 star for lack of honesty. I dont really want to get into the Snotty in person attitude displayed by first rep I dealt with.

I am extremely disappointed, had a screen in my Tyre, the Tyre was completely fixable, because the wanted to make money they told me my only option was to purchase a Tyre or put air in the old one that wont take me far. Im so mad, horrible way of getting their products sold

Absolutely horrible experience here. Came here to have tire repaired on Saturday 3/13. Bought car in at 9am (per their request- my original appointment was scheduled for 11am but they wanted it there earlier just in case they needed to order anything)- I had to go back to the location just to find out what was happening with my car (it was 4pm at this time- they claimed they called me but I received 0 calls from them). Long story short:Once I finally went back to the location they tell me that they can’t repair my tire, it has to be replaced (it took them 7 hours to make this assessment). They told me that they’d have to order the tire, it would be $356.00 total and it wouldn’t be there until Monday. At that point, I called my dad to consult with him and he advised me to get a print out of the tire I need and see if I could find it at a discounted rate somewhere else. So boom, Firestone prints out the tire info. I find a newly used tire online at a recommended tire shop for half the price. I’m very excited about this because who doesn’t like saving money??I had the tire shipped to me and I got my car towed to a local shop to have it mounted on. Once the shop got around to putting on the tire for me, I get a call from them saying that the tire is the wrong size and wrong brand!!! I can admit that I should have double checked this info but because it came directly from Firestone, I assumed that the info they provided me with was correct. Had I decided to go with this option from Firestone, I would have completely wasted my time and money.Moving forward, I now know how to confirm my own tire info and I’ll definitely be doing that. BUT @FIRESTONE, yal need to double check the info that they’re giving to customers because yall are really inconveniencing people.

I try to deal with Cesar who is the manager.I go in for oil change and wheel alignment every few months. I have no complaints yet!I just had inner tierods put in. So far so good. My interstate battery was under warranty and replaced after only 2 years. The rest Nick, John, and Marty are good.

However I knew what I needed done and they all helped me solve the problem, straight to the point. the whole team there seems to be very cooperative w/ each other so as a whole it was a pleasant experience. And car stuff can get high even with deals so def look into their offers. They helped me by telling me my tires were on sale so thats why the 5.

Probably one of the worst service I received from an auto shop. Location doesn’t even carry normal size tires for SUVs. They have to purchase tires from their third-party contractors. First time coming to Firestone and I thought they carry tires....foolish me.So if you in need of a tire, you will most likely have to wait a full day to get one from Firestone. I got a flat on a highway and made a grave mistake in having my car towed to this Firestone location. As explained, they didn’t have my tire or a different tire with the same size/dimensions. Their third party contractors also didn’t have my tire either. My car is not even a sports car...it’s a standard SUV. So I had to order and pick up a tire from another auto shop, brought it to this Firestone shop, and then had to wait 5 hours for the tire to be installed by firestone. During the 5 hours, I had to keep calling to get a status update but must of the time they didn’t pick up the phone or had me on hold for 20 minutes to then receive an attitude from one of their disgruntled representatives.Don’t come here. Go to another shop.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Complete waste of time and money. I called them and explained that my car wouldnt start. They said they can fix it. I had to pay to have the car towed there, and had to pay $99 (+ tax) for a diagnostic. After several days of not hearing from them, I called. We cant fix it, but we know a guy down the street who might be able to. Youll have to pay him to take a look. I had to go back there to have my car towed home. There was a chunk of Blue paint missing from the drivers side door. Of course no one knew how it happened. Complete waste of time. Complete waste of money. Thank you for NOTHING!

Brought my car in because it had a check engine light on and it was shaking while driving. They ran a diagnostic and quote us $1000+ for the repairs they said the car needed to fix the problem. When we brought the car home, the next day the issue returned however we couldnt bring it back because we were dealing with issues related to COVID-19. I finally called to bring it back in, stating the issues were still there. I had to ASK for a complimentary second diagnostic (which the man we spoke to continued to throw in our face later on). Brought it in and low and behold, they find another part that needs to be replaced in my car that is causing the issue. So I spent $1000 for a repair that did absolutely nothing and now they want $300 more to fix another issue supposedly causing the problem? The excuse was our diagnostic didnt pick this up last time. And yet, the day after I got the problem fixed, it immediately returned. When I asked if an additional diagnostic was done after they did the $1000 repair the first time, the man fumbled over his words and stated were supposed to. When I asked for a discount for the additional repairs needed that were missed the first time, he told me no, sorry, its for a different issue so we cant. So be aware, if they fail to fix a problem with your car the first time, they will continue to charge you for repairs until they figure out whats wrong with it. Needless to say, I wont be bringing my car back to Firestone.

I want to begin by saying I would never come back again to this location. My experience with the service manager Mardy Martin was horrible.Im not even sure how he works with people. He was so rude, argumentative and almost bullying. First he asked if I had appt which I did. He looks it up and says that they overbooked in error. That it would be a long wait.2nd..when he discussing pricing and wanted me to sign..I told him I will wait for my husband to come back(as he was moving the car) and he was very persistent on me sign something I didnt understand. 3rd.. I asked him if their alignment machine is working because last time I bought tires..the alignment wasnt done cause the shop said the machine was broke to come back in a few days. And still when I came back in a week it still wasnt fixed so I never returned for the alignment. I ask if there were any discounts as it wasnt done. Im not even sure if I got charged the first time. His answer was I shouldve went somewhere else and thats impossible that his machine was never broken.he argued me down about it and he was so sure I was wrong.then another service guy walked in and confirmed that it was broken at that time. then Mardy ignore that and kept talking over me. He showed he didnt even care for customers.I told him that he is rude. And that why he cant just apologize for the inconvenience and move on. And i told him Im only here cause my husband wanted to come and i already drove 25mins with my front tires shot..wires from the tires showing and I had a flat with a nail stuck.i ask for his name and i told him that I will make a complaint. He had the nerve to tell me that me making a complaint would only look bad on me not him. This guy is beyond rude. My husband told him that he is wrong.i told him lets sit cause I will write a letter.then I sat down in the waiting area and while he was helping the next customer..he was laughing about me with the another customer. He was very scarcastic. like wow. I cant believe he works with customers. He is unprofessional. Im so speechless. I got up and I left.

I was looking to have my tires replaced and was able to find them at this location, I showed up and had my vehicle in for service. I glanced at the time and 7.5 hours later is the time it took for me to get my vehicle back. I asked a couple of times why is it taking so long and was informed that there was only one station available that can hold my pick up. If I didn’t speak up I would’ve probably still been waiting to have my tires installed. Not a pleasant experience for first time Firestone purchase. I will definitely.not recommend this place to family or friends.

I recently went here to get my front brakes done. This was my second time at this location. I recently moved here, and I got an oil change done there, no issue with the price or the service. The most recent time that I went, I went to get my front brakes done. They charged me $600!!!! Not only that, someone called me and quoted me a price of about $450. Then I show up and it is $600. First off, I have NEVER paid $600 to get front brakes done, but also, I feel I was deceived or lied to about the price. If they told me $600 to get my brakes done, I would have picked up my car and went somewhere else. I will NEVER go to this location again for any future services that my car may need!!

Beware is all I can say. Brought in my SUV for a oil change and transmission flush. Without even asking they put in Synthetic Oil, and charged me through the nose for it. And then they tell me my transmission was almost out of fluid when they went to change the fluid, and that the transmission was leaking ( said the cover was all wet with transmission fluid) I get the SUV back and its pissing, not leaking, transmission fluid everywhere. Later find out they way overfilled the fluid and charged me for double the amount of fluid needed, and it was expensive fluid from the manufacturer.So u take the car into the Dealer to see what was going on. They said whomever changed the fluid didnt know what they were doing and overfilled it considerably. They had to reflush the transmission and redo the work that Firestone did. Another $400 on top of the money Firestone charged me for the trans service ( over $300) And now nothing is leaking and the trans shifts perfectly. Be careful getting work done here

Best place to get your car serviced, hands down. Theyre professional, they guarantee their work, and they keep you posted on the condition of your vehicle. Service is pretty quick! Had my radiator replaced with a new one and got it back the next day. The manager Ceasar was very helpful and pleasant. I will continue to give them my business.

Overall pretty shady place. I was reluctant at first to even bring my car here considering the reviews were poor but I already knew I was in desperate need of brakes and rotors and this was the most convenient place at the time. I had my car serviced for front rotors and brakes. The price they gave me was a bit pricy but I went along with it because I just wanted to resolve the issue quickly. Next day I come out of my building and notice my tire is flat. I examined the tire and noticed there was nothing puncturing the tire externally so I filled it up with an air pump and took it to my trusted mechanic. When my mechanic found out how much I paid for rotors and brakes he threw a fit and couldnt believe how much I was ripped off. He tested my tire and determined nothing was wrong with it but that perhaps someone was messing with me and let some of the air out. I went back to my building and asked to watch the surveillance video and my car went all night untouched. I even went to get a second opinion by another trusted mechanic and he even took the tire off the rim to see if anything was trapped between the rim and tire and NOTHING! Two different mechanics determined that there was nothing wrong with my tire internally or externally leading me to believe that my tire was messed with while I was getting my car serviced. I wouldnt recommend getting your car serviced here unless it is your absolute last and final option.

I went to Firestone Complete Auto Care, to get a 2015 Honda Fit replacement headlight bulb. After I enquired about the headlight availability, I gave my address and signed some papers and handed over my car keys, I had to enquire about the price. I told the customer service rep that it was strange that I had to enquire about the price! Customer service responded by saying that I had never asked about the price! I should have followed my instincts and left there and then!I was not happy about the elevated price to change one headlight bulb!$62.82! Outrageous price! I will not be going back, you have been warned!

Ive been to this Firestone a few times and every single time there was always a problem. The main one was recently on Thursday 4/27/17. I brought my 03 impala in just to get a battery changed. They told me that i would have to wait 2 hours because the garage was packed. I understood because i could see every single bay taken with a car. So i left my car and took a walk to kill time, to only get a phone call just about 2 to 3 hours later, saying they could not open the hood to my car. (Disclaimer: This is a 03 impala, a very common car. And there was 8 different people in the Firestone at the time. and you couldnt open the hood to a common vehicle. give me a break.) So i grabbed my keys once i made it back to that store, and walked out to my car which wasnt even touched from what i could see, and opened my hood with NO PROBLEM. If you have an excuse to not work on my car, please dont lie and make me wait 2 WHOLE HOURS just to hear a no we cant work on your car today. So i walk back into the shop and ask them since i opened the hood is it will possible to change the battery since they had at least an hour left before the store closed, a battery should not take that long. I still received a no they had to do it another day. So i asked and they told me to change to battery it would of been done 3 days later on the up coming Sunday. I am really not happy about this service if that day was not a serious day, but before i arrived my battery died in a parking lot which is why i pushed them to change it that day. Never going back and i advise any other person who is considering to use this Firestone, PLEASE Go somewhere else. This place is a complete joke.

Professional and QualityWe recently relocated to NJ and used Firestone previously. The team here got us in before our appointment time. The were very professional in ensuring what we needed done in the visit. They contacted me several times with the inspection results, recommendations and status. They even recommended another shop for transmission work. This was not a big surprise as we towed a trailer across the country. Being new to the area, I appreciated them calling the refererral and coordinating it for me. They had my car ready earlier than originally estimated, applied the Firestone discounts I knew were coming, and the fixes were complete. I can not recommend this team any higher. Very polite employee told me the nail in my tire was in a place that couldnt be fixed and proceeded to try to sell me the 2 tires I needed to match my almost new ones (from a nail in a sidewall a yr ago:-(). I said I was going to think about it and proceeded to check if he was right/honest. The next place I went to said it could be repaired but their company wont allow them to do it in this particular location. Just stopped at a Goodyear I was passing by and they happily told me it can be plugged and Im thus currently awaiting my turn. Yay Central Tire and Auto Repair in Linden!

The staff were very polite and helpful, however, the wait time is entirely too long. I came in to have a flat tire repaired as I was on my way home from work, and I was told at first that I could not be helped until the following day. Mind you, I came in at 1:30pm and the shop was open until 5pm. It was a Sunday afternoon and most tire shops were closed so this was the only place that I could get to,I could not drive home on my tire because it was completely flat. The guy told me they could not fix it that day but they could put on the donut for me (which they were going to charge me $19 for) I ended up waiting 3 HOURS just to get my tired repaired. Even though the staff was friendly, the wait time was completely unacceptable. There were only 2 guys working on a Sunday?? Doesnt make much sense, this will definitely drive customers away!

They said it was in stock and it wasn’t... WASTE OF TIME!!! On the phone and at the location...You get what you pay for!!! The employee I spoke with was rude and seemed like he hated his job. He had no clue about services firestone offered. I asked him if they were able to replace my shocks and he just looked right at me and said he didnt know. The employee didnt even bother to look on the computer to see. I began to get irritated and lucky for me another employee stepped in and was able to help me right away. Turns out the first employee didnt even know how to work the computers. This is the first firestone I have ever been to that I didnt feel comfortable letting work on my vehicle.

So I was losing air in my tires everyday for about a week.... Mind you I have tpms sensors on all 4 of my tires to monitor how much air I have in em... So for a week I had to put air in two of em everyday and I know my car in and out... Upon my arrival I know I had 6 sensors in each tire n two of the tires was losing air daily so I purchased two new tires ... After about an hour in a half the sales rep tells me I need new tpms sensors! I told him that was impossible because I was putting air in my tires everyday and everything was fine with the sensors... These people actually ripped off my sensors!!!!! I call Corporate and they expected me to go back to them so they can take a look which is stupid !! So they can put my car in worse shape !!! Thats crazy I made the appointment and never showed up! im never going back there ... If your gonna scheme on your customers you gotta at least read your customers first!! If i wasnt putting air in my tires everyday maybe I would have fell for their dishonesty! They messed with a wrong person and could have had a loyal customer but instead they ripped my sensors out n told me I needed new ones .. Absolutely terrible n now I have a tpms light on which Ill get fixed n put on elsewhere thanks Firestone of MONTCLAIR!

Just spend over $1,300 on a brake job. That was front and back calibers, brake hoses, front disc brakes and pads. It was $947 in parts alone. I posted about this on my Facebook page and a large number of friends told me the price was way too high.An owner of a local auto shop told me he wouldve charged way less. I dont know if Firestone is inflating its prices or what. But it was an exorbitant amount not on par with local shops in the area. Shop around and avoid this place altogether.

Very unhappy with their service..had to bring my vehicle back three times..they gave me a new set of tires only for them to leak within three hours of me leaving this establishment. They will never see me again!! Just plain lousy..

Horrible experience and horrible customer service. I scheduled to bring my car back after it started to make a noise after I had an oil change. The determined that I needed mounts, then they ordered the wrong ones. After I picked up the car it still made the same noise. The technician opened up the hood and found that the hood prop was broken/missing and the prop had been resting on the battery. He proceeded to secure with a twist tie! The manager offered two bad options and I took the lesser. Now I;m waiting to hear back when they are going to fix the piece they broke.

Do not take your car here. I got an oil change here and they stripped the threads on the oil pan drain. I had to get it replaced for $300 and they refused to admit that it was their fault. I change my oil myself now because of these dicks.
