I understand due to COVID things have to be different due to the guidelines. However, making customer stand at entrance the entirety of the service shouldn’t even have the store open. Why can’t we sit down and have the area sanitize like other places. Doesn’t seem very welcoming and like our money is appreciated. Also, every time I come to this location customer support gets worse. I ask the gentleman to update the insurance information on file due to me switching companies and told me he couldn’t do that unless I knew the vision insurance number. In the past, it was done without any issue. No one was in the store except for me, so it’s not like I would’ve been wasting his time. (Past) like 2 months ago. I definitely will be going to a different vision provider after this experience. This just isn’t the way customers should be treated.
Been going to this place for several years now. As of last visit attempt i will no longer be giving them my business. was running late so i called them to let them know i was running late due to traffic. I was told that was ok to come on. i got there 10 min late maybe 15 at the most and was told i had to be rescheduled.. are u kidding me after i drove all the way across town and even called to confirm that i was late and that it would be ok. non the less i just walked away came back by about 20 min later and the entire staff was sitting down playing on their cell phones.. boy were they busy.. This place is a joke. oh and yea the guy tells me we might can put you in as a walk in i was like uhh ok then he replies well maybe not. u serious.. was my last time coming to this place.

Im gonna be honest.. I went in there in a full on panic. Im a truck driver with eyeglass restriction on my drivers license. Yesterday afternoon I lost my eyeglasses. Supposed to go back to work this morning. This morning I went into Visionworks and was able to get an eye exam and new eyeglasses made the same day.. Everybody in there was real nice. And the service was exceptional.. Thanks so much guys..

Came in today to get a pair of glasses. They had a good selection but what was really great was the service. Heather was beyond patient while helping me with my insurance and choosing a pair of frames. Will definitely be back for my next pair based on this experience.
I went to Visionworks to get eye glasses. I have never had to have eye glasses before. Everyone was very friendly. Dr. Sasser examined me and took the time to explain the results of the examination and answered my questions. Paula helped me choose frames and fitted me for my new glasses. Paula was very friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend Visionworks to anyone especially first timers like me!

I have used visionworks before and have always had a wonderful experience and been completely satisfied. Unfortunately that was not the case today, my appointment was at 4:40, I arrived at 4:30, my temp was taken and I was given a tray to start picking out glasses. I did think that was kinda odd since my appointment was so soon. So I tried on a few then finally went and sat in the appointment waiting area until 5:57, that is when the Dr FINALLY came to get me for my appointment. Other patients had been in and out and my precheck had been done in that time where I turned down an extra test that cost $20. I was told the machine checked the health of my eyes and she would need to notate it in my chart that I refused the test. I told her that was fine because in my opinion if insurance didn’t cover it and it wasnt included in my eye exam it must not be necessary. When Dr Sasser came out to get me he was not friendly in anyway, he made sure to make mention of the test that I refused atleast 4 times during the exam. Really didn’t bother me. The part that bothered me was when I left his office to check out from the exam and to order my glasses, or so I thought, the cashier informed me that I would have to make another appointment if I wanted to purchase glasses because it was now past their closing time. Are you serious? Y’all are the ones that inconvenienced me by running 1 hr and 20 minutes late on an eye exam and then acting like you were doing me a favor by even examining my eyes and then trying to blame the reason for you running late was because the customers ahead of me did not pay extra to have this eye health test done and it made your job harder!So i will go somewhere else to purchase glasses, guess they don’t care about sales!

Tamra was so awesome in making sure I understood my insurance coverage and even made sure I got a rebate to cover a years worth of contacts!! You can’t ask for better assistance! The optometrist today was also phenomenal in explaining my optomap results and prescription ! I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name, I’m bad with names!! She’s not full time but they’re lucky to have her when she comes here from the New Orleans area! Well done today you guys! Keep up the good work. I recommend Visionworks for all your eye care! 👍🏽
Attendant would not let me try my glasses on a a mirror that was literally 6 feet from the door. My frames I requested were brown and the one they gave me in a bag were black. They just looked at me when I mentioned they were the wrong color. My insurance was supposed to cover my glasses and it was a over 100 dollars extra. I’m not happy with the service at all.
Amanda M. gave us great service and made sure my wife was happy with her glasses. Finding the right pair with the right look and fit can be frustrating but the store was full of options and Amanda made sure we were taken care of, comfortable, and happy with our purchase. Highly recommend this business.
This place can be busy but the staff greeted me when I walked in and told me that they would be with me as soon as they finished with their customer. I waited 10-15 minutes while he finished and he immediately came over and assisted me. The prices are awesome for glasses and they had them ready in just 3 hours!! I felt like the service was great. The glasses are good but probably arent as nice as the much higher priced glasses your doctor would sell. Overall a really good experience.

Ive been holding off on my review for months, hoping that by the time I finalized my contact prescription and picked up my glasses that the service would improve. It didnt, the lack of professionalism and outright crassness of the staff is worthy of -5 stars. I sincerely wish this wasnt the case but it is the truth. I bought my glasses through Vision Works at the Pecanland Mall Store 142! I was able to take advantage of the 2 pair for 50 sale! Glasses came back for pick up sooner than expected. I recently had the screw fall off on both pair and I called Vision Works and Amanda told me to come right over and they would repair them at no charge! She stated it’s just normal wear and tear! When I entered the store Amanda and Jermaine were waiting to serve! Amanda was the one that repaired because Another customer came in that needed Service as well! I’ve had two great experiences at this location and will definitely be back! Thank you Amanda and Jermaine for the quality service!!!

Omg. I have been going to another eye doctor since I was 8 I decided to go to vision works. I was very uncomfortable because my eyes are delicate and I didn’t want a bad experience. Ms. Amanda helped me tremendously with my exam, she talked me thru dilation, and convinced me to get glasses and contacts. She even recommended some shades if I was interested. They are very affordable and have great deals.
Jermaine Pittman was friendly & helpful. Jermaine is type of employee everyone needs. His attitude was terrific. The optometrist Dr. Sasser was excellent also.

The optometrist here DOES NOT LISTEN to the customers needs. He thinks he knows everything when he OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT. Himself and the caucasian receptionist, that checks the pressure of your eyes, have very little to no customer service and are rude as hell. If youre there to get glasses, your experience will be some what okay but the quality of their glasses for the prices are completely trash. If you are there for contacts, you might as well walk out and go to another place. When he fits you for contacts and you have complaints about your vision being blurry, he says well thats what your eyes read and basically tells you to get over it, instead of listening to you and trying to find a solution. When you try expressing your concerns to the white receptionist, shell have a catty attitude, roll her eyes to your face and mumble under her breath behind your back even after you talk to her with respect (I know this because my fiance was there with me to witness ever thing happen). The level of professionalism at this facility is very sad.

Went into the store and needed a inspit appointment. A young man named jermain set up my appointment and helped me enter my insurance information. It helped save a lot of Time. He also helped me understand the difference in the type of lenses and I got to pick the best type of working on my computer often. I really appreciated the customer service. Highly recommend going there.
Will never go back to the Pecanland Mall location I was in need of glasses today had money to pay for them today and everyone was on break at 2 pm when I had told store manager I would be back around that time. There was one young man on sales floor. No one should be taking breaks as a group when that is a place of business and you have customers that need help. I actually drove 30 miles without glasses and got taken care of and got glasses and contacts on the way. I dont even have vision insurance so I was paying it all out right.
Poor Customer Service, weakly trained staff, inaccurate information. I learned I am ineligible for their advertised promotion because, get this, I have insurance. This information was not previously provided in any of the telephone calls with their staff. I wish Zero stars were offered, they dont deserve one. It also looks like employees are leaving 5 star reviews here and on other sites. Buyer Beware!

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. No one knows anything. Slow, rude not only in store but corporate office cant tell you anything. I dont recommend this place to anyone. The staff is not qualified to work there they were guessing what the problem could be. I think they just grab people off the street to work there. I will never Grace the doors of that place again. I only gave it one star because it couldnt do 1/2 star.

A very good example of a very bad place to do business. Dont be fooled.The gentleman working their desk on the afternoon of 11/30/2017 was so callous and arrogant, I felt embarrassed for him. In very rare cases should anyone deserve exposure. This, I pray, is a rare case.Is this how you treat people excited to spend a few hundred dollars with you?He made me feel like I wasnt good enough and the $362 I spent that day was with your competitor. I know my paltry sum doesnt amount to much, but neither does the way you talk down to customers.I dont know what it was. Upbringing? Poor management? Poor hiring practices? All of the above? Probably so.They need to clean house at this place and they know their sales numbers reflect this. Sure, I read the bad reviews, I just thought Id give them a chance. Dont regret it like I did.If this universal truth holds any water:Good companies with good products have good customer service in place to boost the experience,then save yourself the humiliation and stay away from this bad company.

I cant even begin to say how much I love Vision Works for all they have done for my baby boy. They are so amazing and they know who we are everytime we come in! We recently moved to California and came back here for my sons annual exam because our optomitrist is just incredible. I know eventually we will have to use an eye doctor closer to home but I really dont want to go anywhere else right now.

THIS place was very expensive for a professional cash paying customer and staff was not very friendly or helpful. I will not be back!!They listed a sale for two pair glass for $59 - $99 but by the time I was being rung up I was asked to pay over $500. And that was after I had already paid $109 for an eye exam. I was my total price came out to be over $900 + $109 exam and that with my savings I would only have to pay an additional $500. I paid an extra $30 for the new photo eye exam and asked if I could have a print out to take with me, still waiting on that. I called back about 20 mins after leaving the shop to inquire about my pupillary distance number only to hear they didnt have it...?? Needless to say I am very disappointed and I will definitely not be going back!! I will be joining the rest of my family members at Walmart Vision Center in West Monroe, where their prices are as advertised and my wife ALWAYS raves about how good the staff is. I wish I had gone there today, but they were not able to take me as a last minute walk-in.Very Disappointed!!
