This is the worst pharmacy ever, I went to get my meds they was closed @ 5:30, went the next day they claim I didnt have any meds that needed to be pickup, so I left then they called saying it was ready,so I go back they tell me to come back @ 7:30, so l leave and go back just for them to tell me the Prescription had expird.
After having an issue with service from the pharmacy, it was quickly resolved. I really appreciate the awesome customer service I received from Christopher. He was polite, courteous, and efficient.

I scheduled a covid test on Friday for Sunday, because I have symptoms. I get to the full drive through and wait in line. I get to the window and the lady tells me their testing is down and to come back tomorrow. Ridiculous. Put a sign outside at the front of the drive through if this is the case. Email or call to let people know of the problem. Don’t waste people’s time.
The pharmacy is a mess and they never answer the phone. I don’t know if there under staffed or what
They absolutely refuse to pick up the phone. I was on hold for 30 minutes and probably five or six different times they picked up the phone and immediately put me on hold without ever speaking to me and never got back to me even though there was only other one person in front of me in line on the phone. Then I called the actual store and all they did was transfer me back to the pharmacy rather than going to see why they weren’t answering their phones. Absolutely ridiculous so now instead of getting my prescription from them I will definitely be going 10 minutes out of my way to go to West Monroe instead rather than getting it from the most convenient location for me because they have absolutely horrible service.
Called 4xs and waited 5-10mins each time then the ph would hang up 🙄 i just wanted to have my daughter prescription faxed else where. Will not be using this pharmacy anymore
Came in the get the Covid 19 shot and was denied because I didnt have an insurance card. They want you to get the shot now they make it impossible for people who dont have insurance. This is why people dont come out to get the shot because of situation like this. Thanks for nothing Walgreens on Louisville in Monroe Louisiana
I will never use this pharmacy again. They are so unprofessional. First incident I sat in line a hour to finally get to the window and guess what the lady decides not to inform me one of my prescription will have to be ordered and it will be available the next day so I go in to find out what is going on. I get in wait another 20 mins the girl apologizes and says we can order it and have it here by tomorrow. That was 4 days ago so I called today and now they tell me oh its on back order through all Walgreens. I asked the man so no one could call or say anything so i can call my dr? Sad and very unprofessionalplaying with people lives

Slow, unprofessional, and sloppy! They wait until you come back to pick up a prescription to tell you it’s an insurance issue and not ready yet. They have time to joke and play around with a line of people waiting. Last time sending anything here. Cvs is much quicker and more professional.
Staff is friendly but I put 3 prescriptions in and it was still not ready after waiting 24 hours. The West Monroe store doesnt have have a problem they filled all 3 within an hour after transferring. Shame I would have to drive cross town just to get it done in a timely matter.*Update*As of recent 12-03-19 I actually had to use this particular walgreens again and so far it has not been a bad experience as it used to be. The staff was always friendly but most of all it did not take long to get my much needed prescription filled in a timely manner.
For many years I have gone to this Walgreens. Here lately they are getting slower and slower in their pharmacy. I went this morning before work expecting to pick up a behind-the-counter medicine. After about 10 minutes of waiting behind another person, I had to leave. They need more help behind the counter! The person was attending a drive-through customer the whole time I was waiting. :-( Ill just go to Walmart instead.
Stood in the pharmacy line for better than an hour. No one seemed the least bit interested in extending themselves to get the job done. That manager should be fired!

First, I dropped off a prescription for my seven year old stepson and the pharmacy tech was clueless. I could barely understand her and she had a bad attitude. She asked for his ID... ummmm hes 7. I went back the next night to pick up the prescription and tried to purchase a toy, which was placed on display with the wrong price. I found out at the register, but the cashier was not apologetic. I explained to my wife what happened and the cashier interrupted with a condescending tone, you dont have to buy it if you dont want it... No SH*T Sherlock!!!! I decided after paying more than it was advertised to cost, that I would return it and ask to speak to the manager. Dion came to the counter during the return and did not introduce himself but did eventually apologize for the misunderstanding. Hence the 1 star. Avoid this place like the plague. Horrible customer service, even for Monroe.
Came to fill prescriptions only one pharmacist and cashier. And because there was only 2 when 1 went on break there was just one answering phones attending the drive through as well as checking out . Very disappointing in the Walgreens company for expecting almost the impossible from their employees . As well as the customers it seens like you have more dissatisfied customers than satisfied.I never had this problem ever with Rite Aid. Now I have a 3 hour wait for my meds. I will be warning future customers about the wait.
They gave me the wrong prescription and wouldnt give me a refund. My husband and son have the same name but not the same birthday which is what they ask for to confirm. Apparently, you dont have to know how to read birthdays to be a pharmacy tech. Completely inconvenienced me and acted like it was my fault. I will not be using them anymore!
Every since they changed their hours, it’s been the most ridiculous wait time, and poor customer service. One in particular is a short woman. I literally sat at least 2-3 hours watching multiple customers getting frustrated and angry with her. She had me waiting on a prescription for that long and never once tried to give me a update. I had to wait in line for a 2nd time for her to tell me the insurance had not accepted yet. Good customer service would have told me this at least 30 min in me waiting with a sick child. Customer service is usually better with the other workers.
This place is not a good place to get your medications!! If the prescriptions are sent in from your doctor you literally have to call them to get it filled. And it takes forever and a day for them to get prescriptions filled. The phone wait is horrible, the leave you on hold as if thats all you have time to do is wait. Im never getting any medicine from here again.
On July 3 at the Walgreens on Louisville Avenue, I went through the drive-thru to fill a prescription for my daughter, the pharmacy closing hours is at 12:00, but I was told to pick up the prescription in the morning, which would be a holiday (July 4). So I waited the next morning, my daughter got worse during the night, I had to pick up some Rash relief spray for her at 3:00 am, at Walgreens West Monroe. That morning i looked at my daughter she was worse and her rash had spreaded.Because I didnt have the prescription the Doctor prescribed. At 8:00, returned to Walgreens on Louisville again, went in, and was told the pharmacy was closed. I was told the pharmacy on Forsythe was open, I then, went to St. Francis Hospital for them to give me another copy of my prescription then, went Forsythe Walgreens, the pharmacy was closed. I was told that the Louisville store shouldnt be closed that they were supposed to be open till 11:00. So I went to West Monroe Walgreens, they filled my prescription and also stated that the Louisville Store should have been opened.
Dropped off prescription to be filled. Was told it would be an hour and a half before ready. Got text saying it was ready to be picked up. Went through the drive thru . Waited in line for 1 hour before getting my meds. NEVER HAD THIS TROUBLE WITH RITE AID! SORRY THAT YOU BOUGHT THEM OUT.
Too bad we cant give a negative number. They let me wait for over an hour before telling me that my insurance doesnt cover my perscription (which it does) and that they didnt receive the other two that my doctor sent over. OVER an hour and I went home with no meds!!! She told me the cost for the cough syrup would be $102 and asked what I wanted her to do. I was too polite to give her my honest answer.
24 hor service is convenient!Go through the drive through. Dont go in; its not faster.The waiting area is cramped and crowded. If someone sneezes they probably hit the whole room with it.Also, the inside card reader has been broken for a year - it falls off when you swipe it.In this city I have seen more broken equipment in businesses than ever in my life.

Clean store but the pharmacy is real slow real slow and they sometimes have a attitude towards you when you come to pick up your prescription and they give you a time and its still is not ready.
