I started out buying a new 2021 Kia K5, I was really searching for a stinger though. A few days later I saw a used Stinger came in online and I went and traded in the K5. I was told that I would use the same UVO app and that the vehicle had push to start through the app. The next morning I found out that the Stinger uses a completely different app and does not support push to start. This was a big deal because this is a feature I wanted and stressed to the salesman about. So I was misled about that and its going to be $1,000 for the install and part. They wouldnt even give me a discount or work with me at all for that matter. I was also deceived when I bought over $500 in parts and was told I paid for installation, come to find out I didnt but they did not tell me so I was hit with an unexpected bill. I really like this dealership in the beginning, but after dealing with them for a little while I have realized they are not that great to their customers and I will not be buying another vehicle from them. I would not recommend this dealership.

Easiest and most seamless car transaction Ive ever had! The guys are helpful without the pushy stuff. I just purchased a Forte and noticed the next day there was some road rash on the front rim, I brought it in the next day and they ordered a new rim no questions asked. Thats unheard of these days. Definitely have a new customer!!

Service department needs to work on their time management and appointment setting. Made an appointment for one of the first time slots of the day to have my car serviced for routine maintenance. Took them 2hrs to even take the car back to be looked at. I would expect a wait like this later in the day but why first thing in the morning?

I called in and spoke with A.J. he was very friendly and professional. I let him know what I was looking for and my budget and he was honest and to the point with my options. Many dealers wont be so upfront on the phone and try to get you there in person before going over numbers. I really appreciate this branch and will be getting my car from them.

DO NOT BUY KIA! Especially the Modesto location. Service department is horrible. I bought a 2018 Kia Optima brand new and have had nothing but issues with the car and their service department since. On top of continual issues with the transmission and the service department giving me the run around for the last 3 years my Kia completely stopped running one day and when I called to ask them for an appointment it was going to take them 20 days to get me in. They expected me to be without a car for almost a month. They said they would have a advisor call me back to see if they could help me out. 6 hours go by and no call back. I called back they said they would call when they were available. 17 days later no call back so I cancelled the appointment. I had to go to an outside source and got it fixed in a day. The service department is lazy, doesnt care and Kia doesnt honor their warranty on their vehicles. Their no appointment oil changes are a joke. I was told an hour to two hours and it turned into almost 6 hours. They act like your a inconvenience and your bothering them when you call after you drop your car off and they dont call you for 3 days after saying theyll call later the same day. No follow through. I could go on forever. The owner should take more responsibility for his company and follow up with customers to make sure things are getting done appropriately instead of just taking our money. Clean out your service department.

Took our 2015 Kia Optima in Friday June 11th. While driving lost all power. Engine needed replacement. Called on Tuesday 6/15 to see if anything was found to be wrong was told would have to call us back as tech who was working on car was at lunch. On 6/16 left message since no one answered and no call back. 6/17 we called again since no follow up from Kia of Modesto. Again had to leave a message. Called Kia Customer care explained what was happening, they tried reaching out and got the same no answer from them. Kia customer care let us know they would send an email to regional manager and ask that they follow up with us.We try calling Kia of Modesto again spoke with AJ I asked for manager not available was going to follow up with store manager and call us back. Finally on 6/21 we were told we needed a new engine. We asked about a rental we were told no. We asked about an ETA for engine one couldn’t be provided due to “COVID”. On 7/19 we get a phone call the car needs a new battery! We go buy new battery and take it and are FINALLY given our car back. When looking over the paperwork shows technician found that we needed a new battery on 6/11! We were not told anything about a warranty, a break in period, or even the type of oil being used. Today 7/25 while running errands the car wouldn’t start. The battery is loose! It’s not bolted or strapped into the car and could be pulled out easily. Extremely disappointed in the way this has been handled. Still no phone call from regional manager either.

Decided to get off work early to take my car in for an oil change since they said no appointments, open Monday through Friday only. So i get to the dealer the guy checks me in and tells me it will be about an hour or two wait but since I lived down the street they can get me a Lyft home. He says I would just finish checking in with an advisor so I go in to talk to the advisor and after me telling him that i was given a booklet for free oil changes, he starts telling me i would have to take my car back to the dealership where I bought it from i told him that the guy who checked me in told me i could do it here as Long as I had the booklet for the free oil changes then he proceeds to tell me it’s going to be at three or four hour wait i told him that was okay since the guy who checked me and said They can get me a lyft. The advisor then proceeds to tell me that it would probably be an hour before they can get me a lyft. Pretty much just seemed like they didnt care to do my oil change since it would be free. Bad customer service overall.

Just purchased our second vehicle (first KIA) from here and we are beyond impressed! Our entire experience was amazing. Sarge and Terrance really took the time to show us different vehicles and figure out what would work best for us and our family. Martin was very nice, as always, and explained our contract to us fully in detail. Nick even helped distract our two year old since he was getting a little antsy at the dealership. I have dropped of a new Kia Soul. It has been at the service center for 6 days no contact. I have called 8 times and left a message. This is terrible service I have been left with out a vehicle. We were left without a work vehicle for 10 days no rental provided. I will never purchase a kia again. worst service ever.

So much for the radio commercial about helping people out of their current car and into a lower newer car. Bunch of lies and then they hit you with three different banks after telling them to run only once with the bank that would guarantee for sure a financial come back. Bunch of lies dont waste your time with these guys. Stayed there for 3 hours and no results at all I walked out with the same car and lost time and hits on my credit report!!!!

Hands down one of the best car buying experiences iv ever had, the staff was so friendly and helpful and made the whole process a breeze. I have taken my car for maintenance service and one recall 2 or 3 times now and have been treated honestly and fairly. Never felt they were taking advantage of me, trying to talk me into repairs I didnt need. Also, they sanitized the surfaces they touched - important during a pandemic.

Horrible customer service. I had an appointment scheduled to drop off my car for a recall. 4hours later I called to check to see if it was done. The associate Caleb at the service desk told me “ Oh you didn’t have an appointment so your car will be done last, they just pulled it in.” Are you kidding me! Almost 5hours later and still waiting for my car .Joke -

I cant speak for the Sales side, but the Service Department is just terrible! I dropped my car off at 8:15 for a recall, and they said the diagnosis would take a couple of hours. I did not hear anything back until noon, and that was after I called them multiple times to check my vehicles status. I asked them to send the shuttle service to pick me up and get my car, and all they said was: our Driver services are based on the availability of our in-house employee. Three and a half hours later, I had to pay for an Uber out of my pocket to pick my car up.Their communication is just horrendous!

Had an amazing experience my sales man Donovan made my car buying experience so easy with there process. First they sit down with you and ask you what your looking for in a vehicle to make sure you get the vehicle you want. Second they pull up the vehicle that matches your needs so your not just walking around the lot lost not knowing what your looking at exactly. Then you go back in and do the numbers easy as that was in and out in 1hr and 30 minutes thats from getting on the lot to driving off in my brand new car. Parts department is garbage. I live an hour away and called yesterday to make sure they had weather tech floor mats for my Telluride. The employee confirmed and even read me the prices. I get there today and the employee there says they dont carry it and it takes a week to deliver.

In November of 2019, I bought a Kia Sorento from this location. The people here are very helpful. They work on your choice of vehicle and work to help you get the vehicle if your credit is not good or if you are building the credit. I had good credit so my process was easy and good. If you worry about the credit then just ask them to pull a soft credit pull which they normally do to figure out if you want the rough payment detail and down payment. Also, they provide you with very detailed information about the vehicle and the process. I recommend you visit this location to check out the cars and the process.

Service department is bad. They only employ technicians, not one ASE certified mechanic. My car has been there 2 months and incurred $1700 in unneeded repairs. Took the car to a real mechanic who replaced the one $50 faulty part and now car is fine.

Honestly I wish I could give zero stars. My wife and I bought a used car from this dealership and twice now has been unresponsive and a complete disaster trying to work with them. The 1st time that had it for over a month. 2nd attempt and they wont call us back. Heres my advice, go to another dealership and if you do come here dont bother with their extended warranty. Its not worth the paper it is written on. Terrance (not in the service department) is caring and responsive however outside of him you are left in the dark.

Recalls were needing replacing today for my Kia Forte and they took it in immediately being that the vehicle shut down on us. Everyone I spoke to over the phone was kind and helpful. Aaron R. in the service dept was very helpful and kept constant contact with us regarding the status of our vehicle. It was in and out the same day!Customer service is excellent at this location. My car was in there 7 days on a recall without work being done because kia consumers was waiting on the district manager to approve to do the work. After calling and leaving a vm to the general manager letting him know the service advisor has not contacted me and he doesnt call me back after leaving vm and having to pay for a rental out of pocket a service manager finally called me and informed they woould do the work as a good will. Service was horrible never received a call on any update or then informing me my catalytic converters needed to be replaced. I only found out after I called. Only call I ever received during the whole 7 days was from the service manager after he most likely got a call from the general manager after leaving him a detailed vm on what was going on. He said my car would be ready on Friday and that he would call me and I also informed him that I had let the service advisor know I wanted to pay for my oil change. Well it was already 3pm on Friday with no call from him so I decided to call and he said he has been out of the office all day. So hes telling me no one else could have called??? Then he said my car would be ready by 530. I get to valley kia and no service manager or service advisor were there to see me when I picked up just the customer service person. I signed and paid for my oil change and he informed my catalytic converter was replaced. As I walk to my car they DIDNT EVEN WASH IT. It sat there for 7 days and couldnt even wash it.

If I could leave a 15 star review I would!! My grandma really needed a new car and they were so good to her. Didnt try to sell her anything she didnt want or need. we came in before closing on a Saturday and she had her car by 11am on Sunday! I had to bring my kids and they were so nice and good to them too. The managers the Salesman Nic...we will be back we feel like family now.We are part of the Kia family 😁You guys made my grandmas year shes been all over town showing off her new ride!!I also wanted to add that before we went to Kia we went to Modesto Jeep Chrysler first and it was a horrible experience...they ignored us and acted like they couldnt help us Im glad they didnt get our spirit down and we decided to drive across the street!!Everyone go to Kia!

Shocked and appalled. Firstly I was amused at the low ball offer I recieved for my car of 1500 and then surprised that Andrew and Terence though I didnt know how to do math. I looked at a car that was 14999 and was told my payments for 72 months would be 315 that math works out to 22,680. At 14999 Id only have 57 payments. Update. I sold my car to VROOM ( a website that purchases cars) for $4000. Also I drive 700+ miles a week.
