We were blown away with every person who took care of us at Bretz. We were referred to Dewey to show us our beautiful 2019 Cougar. Dewey was an amazing representative of great salesmanship and knowledge of product. (and just think he’s a great guy!) We appreciate the amount of time and care he gave to us throughout the process! No one likes the “financial” aspect of sitting through the pages and pages of initialing and signing on the dotted line, but Mike made even that part enjoyable. Talon took us through the trailer to teach us “trailer newbies” how each part of it works. He was so helpful!! Good job guys! I also want to mention that even while waiting in the lounge a very impressive young man, Mason, just went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and cared for. I recently bought my 2019 Sierra Park Model from Bretz RV and Marine. Dewey helped me every step of the way and followed up after to sale to see if I needed anything else. We had an incredible experience at Bretz in Missoula. We purchased a second Tiffin Allegro Bus from Bretz thanks to our incredible Salesman Brian Leon and Master Tech Daniel. We tried to buy locally (in Utah) but no one could come close to price and overall sales experience.. We were picked up at the airport and given a rental car. We spent a couple nights there on site to ensure all was running properly. Our punch list was done on time and thoroughly! Thank you to all who assisted us!

We ordered an Airstream trailer which took a while at the factory, but our salesman, Nick, was knowledgable and efficient and kept us apprised of the delivery date. When it came time to close, the whole Bretz team was great and made us feel very important. Kudos to Nick and to Anna and Mason.

Been shopping for a travel trailer for some time now. Ended up at Bretz RV in Missoula. They had the make and model we were looking for in stock. Can always be little stressful when shopping for cars or RV’s but Jarrett did a great job and took good care of us. The entire process was uneventful and pretty easy. I would recommend checking them out if youre shopping like we were.

After a discussion with Brice yesterday evening, Brice scheduled Terry to fix awning. Terry is here right now fixing it.I would have to say dealing with Brice would be a 5 star experience!Terry just finished the awning and it works great.I know I have been kind of a jack during all of this to Brice, he was very professional and handled himself well. My husband and I have been doing our research and have been trying to look at campers to buy a new bunkhouse. They were not friendly and just kept asking us what our budget is. How about you be honest with your pricing, and I can tell you what I can afford. In this day and age, we can shop elsewhere where people will try to get our business and at the least help us out. Thanks but no thanks. Highly do not recommend shopping here.
Best price for propane and a hardworking and friendly person filling tanks. Even great customers! One helped this old lady by carrying my full tank to my car! The cashier went out of his way to help me. They’re busy out there but not too busy to be courteous and helpful.
Purchased a motor home. overall a decent experience. however the unit was to be cleaned inside and they just didnt do it. also a couple of broken drawer catches werent fixed as they were supposed to be. attention to detail is important. we also paid for some extra coatings on interior and exterior that were costly but cant confirm those were completed as you cant actually see it. was assured it was done but still wondering as they somehow did all of this in about an hour.

We stopped by without calling ahead whilst traveling to Glacier. We are in our motor home and our refrigerator hasn’t been working for miles. The worst customer service Ive ever experienced!! My husband and I had already done our research online before coming in. We had a few picked out and were willing to go above our price range for the right camper. When we first walked in we were never even acknowledged so we decided to walk around until someone would help point us in the right direction. We ended up spending 20 minutes until we had to ask the customer service person for a salesman. I do understand that places are short staffed but there was so many sales associates that saw us but didnt bother to help us. Needless to say the first insulting thing the salesman said once we told him our budget was so youre paying with cash? We explained we had already received a loan through our bank which we know how inflated prices are at the moment so we wouldnt mind making a large down-payment to go above our budget. He then proceeded to take us to the nastiness camper on the lot saying he didnt have any other options for us I mean come on there was a terrible smell with an infestation of bugs!! (keep in mind this was a camper they had bought off of Facebook market place then jacked up the price 5k more than they bought it for. I saw this same camper on there while doing online shopping). The entire time he didnt even want to take the time to show us around the lot to other campers or try to up sell us on something a little more expensive. After this experience my husband and I were so upset that we went to another RV dealer in town who helped us tremendously with all our questions and needs. If you want great customer service and great prices go to Rangitsch Brothers RV.
Update: Talked to Brody, and there is going to be some changes made so that any new customers will have better communication and be better prepared when they buy their new trailer. Thanks for helping improve the process and making it better.To add to Chelseys review: we werent provided with the with a garden hose, pressure regulator or a water filter. Came with a 6foot long sewer hose that barely reached the dumping station. The hand crank to adjust the stabilizer corner jacks almost broke at the welds. Not sure if its the manufacturer or Bretz, but it sure would be great if you would set up your customers for success after spending 24k.

Pretty ok, I guess. Got a mess of propane for only $10.A little put off at being told it was $50 to replace a part that fell off my travel trailer (bought from Bretz) about 6 weeks after I bought the thing. Thought theyd cover that for me, but, oh well.

Our salesman at Bretz was a super friendly and very helpful. He made us feel welcomed and comfortable and helped us find exactly what we were looking for.When it came to pick up day, I am not going to lie, it was a very bumpy process. However, when I reached out about our experience, Scott really listened to my experiences and shared them with his team so that they can improve communication and provide a better customer experience. I am a firm believer in learning from mistakes, and I feel that their team is trying to put forth the work to always provide better services and experiences for their customers.
We arrived at Bretz RV with a specific make and model in mind, wanting to touch and feel the rig in person to see if it looked as good in person as we thought it looked online. Over two visits to the dealer, the staff spent hours with us, allowing us to dig deep into the rig and evaluate it. We loved it and decided upon the end of our second visit that we would like to order this model. The salesperson asked us what we wanted to pay. As little as possible, we responded, What is your best price?. They would not give us a number until we gave THEM a number!!? We explained that our plan was to contact several dealers to get their best price and see who comes in at the highest percentage off of MSRP (we bought our last rig this way). They insisted that they just dont do business that way. Wow. They expressed concern that we would take their price to other dealers to get a better price elsewhere and not buy from them. So we left, disappointed in our inability to obtain a purchase price from them (and no, we do not share prices with others). We sought some good dealer recommendations from some RVing FB groups for this manufacturer, contacted a number of them, then bought/ordered the rig from the dealer that gave us the best price. It is a shame that Bretz put in all the time with us but were so rigid in their sales methods. I suspect that given that they can only sell so many rigs a year, they are looking only for those folks that they can convince to only shop with them (and thereby pay too much). Dodge this bullet if you can.

Do not use Bretz, as soon as they get your money you are nothing but a pest to them. need to have warranty work done, good luck with that they will want to charge you for everything. the in store customer service is absolutely horrible. will not buy from Bretz and will drive to Spokane for my trade in this spring.

I was pleased with customer service but appalled at fee for tow bar charge. Fully 15% over mspr charge from $1,034 msrp to $1,199. I called the manager and received NO call back. Amazon has Bluetooth towards from $912 to $950. If I didnt need emergency replacement Id gone elsewhere.

Absolutely terrible experience here. The costumer service and diagnosis work left much to be desired. We brought our camper in to have our fridge fixed (we are living in our camper full time). They had it for months and did absolutely nothing for us just made us pay an outrageous price for a incorrect diagnosis (we came to find out later).

We’ve been full time RVing for 2 years in our fifth wheel toy hauler. We decided that a Class A would better meet our needs. Every city we stopped in I would check the local dealers for brands and models we were interested in. I finally found two at Bretz RV and Marine in Missoula MT.We stopped in on a Monday and met Nick G, a salesman, at Bretz. Nick greeted us with a smile and asked all the questions he needed to help us narrow down our search to makers and models that would meet our needs. We started with the Tiffins; a Red 37PA, a Phaeton 40IH. NIck, was extremely knowledgeable on both the Tiffin Red 37 PA and Phaeton 40IH we were looking at and answered every question we had. We asked if maybe there was a maker or model that we had overlooked and he suggested a Newmar Ventana and again he was able to explain the features and functions in detail. Nick spent all the time we needed to feel comfortable with our ability to go from a fifth wheel toy hauler to a Class A motor coach.Once the deal was done and the paper work signed Nick ran lead between myself and the Parts Department and Service Department to make sure I was kept abreast on the readiness of the new rig. Nick never made us feel that he wasn’t available for us even though he was handling multiple customers.On the few occasions that Nick wasn’t available Nate M. followed through. Nate frequently would stop and ask if we had any questions or issues that needed to be addressed. He also took the time to listen and make note of the things that were in work and needed a follow up.Nick and Nate made a great team to make a stressful transition a great experience.
We have dealt with the service department in Missoula twice and have walked away frustrated both times. I don’t know how Brice and the young lady behind the counter think they can be so condescending and think paying customers will return. Maybe my expectations are misaligned but I think the staff at the service department desk are in the “people business”. They clearly don’t agree. I’d rather drive to Spokane for service than be talked to like I’m a small child.

We own a 2020 KZ Durango 301RLT 5th, still under factory warranty and had a problem with our slide not closing while my wife and I were staying at Jim and Marys RV Park in Missoula. We contacted Bretz RV by way of chat, I explained the problem and that we needed help as soon as possible, I was told a service associate would contact me soon. Its been 5 days and still no call. Terrible service, shame on you!Update we called the dealer we bought our RV from in Arizona and they helped us right away by explaining there was a manual over ride and we were able to close our slide to transport. Thank you Dave at Always RV in Apache Junction Arizona.

Very poor customer service!! The chat option was worthless. I tried many times to schedule a walk through of an advertised class A coach and was not contacted. Granted, the coach I wanted to see had a “pending sale” but someone could have reached out to me, This dealership lost a potential sale. If not today, certainly in the future!
The attack squad sales team smelled fresh meat in the building . I should have shopped online probably not going to go back after their salesman insulted my intelligence.

Bretz is the worst. There is no customer service and they do not give a rip about anyone but themself. I have a recall on the stove/oven in my camper, Dometic said I could contact any service provider to fix a possible gas leak. I called Bretz and they will not even schedule me for an appointment. If my camper goes up in flames its on you Bretz!!!

I get that you were out of office, but I don’t think it’s my responsibility as an owner (or buyer) to follow up on the request I’ve made when money is being spent.Again, please know, if I could go elsewhere I will do so.I am also asking that while the camper goes through service, all the Bretz logos be removed as I personally will not be recommending the dealership.I understand that these complaints are not solely your responsibility, but if they’re not equally shared by all members of Bretz, you are my salesman and as a result, are my means of raising concern.I’ll also be sending the exact message to Mark Bretz as well, overall, I’m disappointed. More than anything, I’m disappointed.__________________________After this message was sent to my salesman, I was promptly referred to an account manager. Where I again asked for the logos to be removed from my new camper. I was lied to in regards to having the service department do this during the processing of my unit. It wasn’t until I was performing my final walkthrough with their associate that she let me know they could not remove those logos. This was only announced at the very last signature needed to finalize my sale. The issue was escalated to my salesman who reiterated the same thing but mentioned I would need to speak to Dustin or another Bretz family member to discuss them being removed. After he (Dustin) called me at 3:17 pm, 4/7/21 and spoke on the phone for 5 minutes. We agreed that he would remove the logos from my camper and in exchange I would leave him a 5 star review for his organization.I would advise caution and diligence in dealing with Bretz. I have little question about their ability to function as a dealer as their track record is extensive and successful. I may have had an isolated incident with their employees. But this is concerning for any future buyers.
Really great and friendly staff. The process was really simple easy and straight forward. Really easy and comfortable dealer to buy from.
Enjoyed working with Joey Simone. Nice guy, professional. Had some issues at Bretz, my unit was frozen while at their facility, after I purchased it and was working to pick it up. My unit being frozen caused freeze damage. I had to pay half of the repairs because the request to winterize was not well communicated. Matt Campbell is good sales guy, but got defensive when I had issues. I think Matt is a good guy, probably caught in the middle. Audra in Parts & Service was professional, responsive and personable. The biggest issue with Bretz is they are very big and communication between departments needs to be improved. Also their ability to deliver on time needs improvement. They seem disorganized. I would also suggest someone to be accountable for all commitments made to the customer. Overall the staff at Bretz are good people, they could be better organized and communication could be significantly improved. It seems like they are very afraid of litigation, as they have you sign a bunch of acknowledgements as part of the delivery process.
I appreciate the frankness and honesty in which I experienced there. It felt like my best interest was what was most important.
Always a great place to go for your RV needs. A little pricey but the customer service is top notch. The dump facilities are clean and well maintained. I miss the customer appreciation days event they used to have. You could always find awesome deals on your next camper and the cookout was amazing!!!

Bretz had our boat for 2 months. We called numerous times to check on it without receiving calls back. We drove 2 1/2 hours to pick it up just to find out that it wasn’t close to being finished. Definitely not happy with work or service.
I found the exact camper I’ve been looking for for over a year here and was so excited! I even decided to spend over my limit and get a brand new one because I realized it was the best option for me. I had been working with brets RV for almost a month and put a deposit down on the camper to get the process moving forward. A week later I received a text saying not to panic but the deposit wasn’t able to be put down. Finally I found out that both the campers of the exact make and model I wanted were sold. While I was in the middle of buying one. Absolutely heart breaking and disappointing to me. These makes and models are scarce and now I have no idea when I will find one again. I also have to spend another summer without a camper and wait for off season again. Really disappointed with the lack of communication and to find another dealership just wanting to get their sales up.
They showed us a cross section of models and we found the best for us. Myron knows his business and were happy with the way everything turned out!

The parts store and the service department are really good the sales however has a two-star rating and that really steered us away from looking at trading in our travel trailer, which is really a shame, its almost like theyre like oh well thats our rating. Didnt feel that we could be comfortable working with a trade in.

Update 7/7/2021: Thanks Brody for taking the time to explain this Situation!!We special ordered an Rpod 171 through Bretz RV back in November 2020 and just got it this past weekend in June. Brody, the salesperson, very poorly communicated on the status of the Rpod. Had to harrass him every week on the status of the Rpod and once we started the process, We put down a down payment, to be told 3 months later we might have to put more money down! When we get there to the dealership, He didnt even take the time to show us the Rpod, (was a hi bye thanks for coming attitude) just left to go to a different customer instead of the people hes been talking to for the past 7 months! Through the entire process Mike, the financing guy was great! didnt have to put more money down and actually gave us affordable options on the Rpod. Thanks a lot Brody for the stress! and Talon took the time to show us the Rpod and went through everything. Big thanks to Talon and Mike for making the entire process not stressful.For 4 hours we waited for them to detail the Rpod, it was not travel ready! They left quite a mess inside the trailer and did not strap the table down, left the cabinet door open and saw dust all over the floor. Not overall happy with our experience and we still had to do a 5 hour drive home.
We bought a Lance Travel Trailer through Bretz RV in Missoula and had a great experience. Our salesperson Dave was super knowledgeable, helpful and responsive and Mason was very thorough in walking through the trailer and answering all our questions about set up and functionality. We are excited for the snow to melt!
Daniel Drollinger Is the best tech we have ever encountered. He not only does exceptional work but he cares about the customers as well. His work far exceeds any we have ever seen. He does it right the first time, and will not do half way, it is right or not at all. Thank you Daniel for making our stay as pleasant as possible would recommend him to anyone for any and all Rv work. Also to Bryce Carey for all his help and the great manuals he put together for us. To Myron West the salesman who helped us with the purchase and throughout the process and to Mike Gornick for his friendship and help with all that went on. And of course the whole staff that we dealt with.
The service is abysmal and they do lousy service work. They kept my motorhome for over a month and did not fix anything. I had to take it somewhere else to get the problems fixed correctly. They would not return calls or answer questions on the service. I will not be doing any business with them in the future!
Worse customer service ever. They give you the run around, and try to make you sign papers, that don’t need to be signed. They also try underhanded things to get you to make the power of attorney over your lean holde.
My buddy bought a beautiful brand new Barletta boat from Bretz. Their service was fantastic and very professional. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our experience 5 star!
I would recommend Daniel Drollinger for work of all kinds on the large motor homes He is Very knowledgeable and does very neat work also I would Thank Brice Carey for his knowledge and expertise. Also want to thank Mike Gornick and Myron West for all of the help during our stay.
I have had two opportunities were I required service for my new boat i purchased from them. Both times I was treated extremely rudely by the service staff. I complained both times to the service manager and got the same excuse. I was told they had been very busy and this is why I was treated like this. I will not buy anything else from Brets. The two occasions happened nearly a year apart. They are 0 for 2!
One of the greatest experiences I have ever had in acquiring an item like this. They went above and beyond what I would have expected. Also almost everyone there is an avid fishermen. Thank you so much for such a humbling experience.

We added some last minute things and Bill, Eric, and Kyle in the shop stayed late to finish it up, so we could get back to Utah. It was a great experience the day the boat was purchased, everyday since has been a nightmare. To start with, I wanted a few items upgraded on the boat...power for my downriggers, rod holders, cup holders etc, kept getting the runaround on the work getting done, finally we were given a closing date to sign the paperwork and pick up the boat...we called the day before to confirm that the work had been done, alas, it had not! Once the work was completed, we had to finagle a closing date that worked for us (we live 200 miles away). Closing went well, however, we did find out that the power had been installed but none of the accessories had been ordered...and the tank was empty. Finally got on the water only to have mechanical issues (it isnt even a used boat), I called immediately to say I needed to bring the boat in for the work and was told that the earliest date they can even look at it is three weeks away! I purchased a boat (not through Bretz) 16 years ago, that boat company met me halfway with the boat, threw in some free gear, had the boat filled with gas and in 16 years, I never had a single problem with the boat. (It was a Glastron) I am really disappointed with the customer service from Bretz, it seemed like once they had my deposit check & the boat sold, the deal was over. Sadly, what should have been an exciting and fun purchase has been a nightmare and if I had it to do over, I would not purchase through Bretz RV in Missoula.Any product can fail, it is how they are treated when they do that makes a good company.

My wife and I went to Bretz to trade in our one year old Class A Winnebago for a Montana Fifth Wheel. Not only did we drive away with a trailer we love but they also gave us a great deal on a 2016 F-350 that was taken in trade from another customer. The staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and didnt try any sales tactics that weve experienced from other dealers. Of note, Scotty, our salesman was a gem. He called us regularly to let us know how our deal was progressing and even called several times after we took delivery to ensure we were happy with our new rig. Billy, the finance manager, was open, honest and genuinely a pleasure to work with. Lastly, Tara, who familiarized us with all of the features of our new Montana fifth wheel was knowledgeable, genuine and dedicated to ensuring we knew everything we needed to hit the road. I dont normally give five star ratings to any company, but Bretz EARNED this rating by doing the right thing across the board. If youre in western Montana and in the market for an RV, Bretz is the place to git r done.
WOW!Dealing with Bretz RV was an excellent adventure.Our representative was Tracey.From the first time we spoke with Tracey right through to even after the purchase of our trailer, his professionalism, courtesy, and general demeanor made us feel very important the whole time.After dealing with Bretz RV in Missoula Montana we would not want to deal with any other dealership. We came all the way from Sammamish Washington to deal with them.I wish we could convey properly the impression we were left after dealing with Bretz RV in Missoula.Even after we returned to Washington state we had questions and never had to wait more than a few minutes for a response from Tracey. It doesn’t matter what camper you purchase or how much money you spend...ALL campers/rvs are going to have issues. When your purchase has issues...you better make certain the dealership has a competent/logical person to take care of you. When I had issues with my 2019 Grand Design Momentum..I had the pleasure of dealing with Brice Carey at Bretz in Missoula. I give this dealership 5 stars because it is what happens after the sale that counts the most!!
