The cashiers are very rude here and wont acknowledge you as a customer saying hello, thank you, or have a nice day. A number of employees have had an attitude problem almost every time I shop here. That is the main reason I dont shop here often unless I absolutely need something from the store. Alot of people shop lift here and Im not sure if they still do the security stand around and watch you while youre shopping even if youre not shoplifting and even follow you throughout the store. It makes me feel very uncomfortable. Their prices are high on alot of simple essential items and they dont have many deals on stuff like they used to. This by far is the worst Walgreens Ive ever been to.
Called in a prescription refill, was told it would definitely be ready by next morning. Went to pick it up and was told they literally dont have any and it would take until at least next week. Two stars because they gave me a partial refill (even after saying they dont have any), so I guess I wont go without, but I still have to go back, annoyingly.
Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service! Super rude, I called asking if they had a certain product and if she would check if they had what I need and she blew up on me and ranted at me and telling me I have to come look myself and that it’s not her job to look for things. Left a bad taste in my mouth and I felt she was super rude for no reason. She easily could’ve said she didn’t have time, instead she decided to go off on me. I’ve called multiple Walgreens before and this has never happened to me.
I got my medication here for years without a problem. However one day I lost my medication. I contacted my doctor and she wrote a new prescription and sent it to Walgreens. However when I got to Walgreens they wouldnt give it to me because their computer still said I had my old bottle. I told them I lost it but that didnt matter, they just go by what their computer says.I have been in agony now for 3 weeks without my medication. My doctor has called Walgreens and told them to give my my medication but they still wont. For me, not taking my medication just cause me lots of pain and suffering. It is not life threatening. So if you do have a medication that you depend on to stay alive, I would not recommend going to this Walgeens. They wont give you a new bottle if you lose yours.
The cashier was very rude. When I approached the cashier to check out I was verbally scolded for not waiting for her to let me know she was available to process my check out even though she was at the cashier counter. Before I approached the counter the other cashier signaled to me that the cashier I approached was open. Then the cashier proceeded to use my sandwich as a brush to wipe crumbs off her check out counter. She asked me if I wanted a bag. I said yes. She acknowledged that. Then she asked me again if I wanted a bag again. Very frustrating.
The pharmacy at this Walgreens is the worst Ive ever dealt with. There is a problem LITERALLY EVERY TIME I PICK GO TO FILL A PRESCRIPTION.Split prescriptions forcing me to have my doctor rewrite it. Filled with a generic incorrectly, sending the wrong prescriptions to my insurance company, the list goes on...I switched to this one because its closer but can see that was a mistake. There seems to be a different version of policy on every visit depending on who you talk to, and it appears that it makes no difference to the pharmacist how the doctor writes the prescription. Its frustrating because these issues and policies were never an issue or even discussed at the other location.
Tried to order online, placed order because it said item was in stock all for them to call me saying sorry our inventory is behind and we dont have item in stock. Canceled my credit card payment, which I only have a little over amount of purchase on PayPal, dont have alot of money, and now I have to wait for the transaction to drop to get back on card. Pretty lame
Another Walgreens had to suffer vandalism. I am sorry that another of your stores was the target of hate. I hope that your business becomes greater and more profitable than ever. Peace on earth.
The woman who works in the makeup department/ beauty is AMAZING. Every SINGLE time I need something--she knows where everything is--she is fast, and all of her recommendations have been fantastic. I re-bought the products she recommends especially the mascara. She is really good at her job and very helpful. She actually knows about all the products--and seems to have tried everything. Cannot recommend her enough.
I have not had any problems yet with this store. Its a lot more convenient for me. I hope it works out.
Nice employees.
A guy at the pharmacy named Mee Sai saved me and my girlfriend hundreds of dollars on her meds by suggesting we sign up for a Walgreens card when she didnt have insurance due to delays getting her ID. He did it without being prompted since neither me nor my girlfriend knew this card was an option. It totally made our day. Thank you so much man!
This particular Walgreens is inconsistent to say the least. I attempted to load a PayPal debit card and was successful in doing so yesterday. But today was a completely different issue. The Manager that I spoke to is a a serious lame ads! Also the older African-American cashier makes you want to go to another location. Lets say I wont be back anytime soon!
Got to eat Sushi here!!!!!! Zin and Tun are absolutely wonderful people, they are always smiling and so kind. Their sushi is to die for! I am someone who frequents sushi restaurants because it is one of my favorite foods. I go here every Friday to end my work week right. Their sushi is unique and down right tasty. Do not let it through you off that is it in the walgreens.Go here! Give it a try and support these two lovely people in their small business.
This location, staff wasnt very welcoming.
I have only been a few times but each time I was able to find what I needed or get assistance from an available associate without issue. Its a Nice size, usually pretty clean, and well stocked. Its also nice to have an alternative to the downtown Target with just as many food/snack options.
The store is nice, clean, and usually fully stocked. The negative part is I’ve never been to a Walgreens where the workers are so rude. There are maybe three polite ones, but the others are always having side conversations. The managers are super polite. I’ve never used he pharmacy, so this is only for the store.
I also work here and have worked with the company for the last 6 years and while I have worked at a few different Walgreens downtown mpls Walgreens is my favorite!!!!! I heart my coworkers and all my regular customers and really enjoy working here! I try my best to go above and beyond for all the customers and be efficient and friendly so all the customers have good experience here!
I came in today to get a flu shot and while the employees at the pharmacy were nice the wait was unreasonably long so, I had to leave without getting my flu shot. I’ll have to go somewhere else... I don’t have a lot of time for lunch
Well Stocked Wonderful Customer Safety and Service
Multi-level store with plenty of selection. I was not able to find my item on the main floor but a courteous staff member directed me to the upper level where I was able to locate my item quickly. Stays busy and took a few minutes to check-out. Also the store could use a little more lighting as well as a little more cleaning. The floors, while not overly dirty, did not look their best. But if you are in and out with a few quick items, which is the purpose such a store serves in this type of setting, perhaps the need for tidying up a bit can be overlooked. Not open late so check their hours before you head that way.
I shop here weekly. They have everything you need like any other Walgreens. The added bonus is their sushi take out bar. Its the best tasting sushi for the best price downtown. They even custom make any order. Try it out if youre near the Skyway during lunch.
Biggest Walgreens Ive seen. Clean store. Busy but still quick service. I like the staff that I came in contact with. I will say some of the other customers are rude but thats not on the Associates or Store itself. Cool place to get what you need
Clean, friendly staff, and nice skyway.
Two story Walgreens with sushi
No convenient or free parking obvi, so i prefer other Walgreens BUT this ones nice for a quick stop
Amazing this place is able to stay in business downtown. Retail in downtown is like a moving target!
Honestly I understand that downtown stores are busy and lines form, but on three different occasions Ive ordered my prescriptions days ahead only to have them wait to fill it when I come in. Today I was told it would be a 20 minute wait, and sat for 40 minutes while two others who came in after were called. I never heard my name. Im completely out of my meds and need a refill.Update: today I waited on hold for over an hour and got hung up on. Twice. This place is terrible and Im so disappointed by the sheer lack of customer service.
I like the new Walgreens store located Downtown on Nicollet Mall.Store care a variety of items in Cosmetic Grocery, and Health products. Also have deli that serve Sushi nice staff to chat with on latest flavors of Sushi.
Since Lunds Pharmacy has closed I now use Walgreens on Nicollet Mall. The kinks have to get worked out but the staff have been so helpful and friendly.
Mostly always a good experience. Beauty aisle workers are not always approachable nor friendly but I can care less. Not like I need their assistance anyway.
Pharmacy staff is very nice. But the communication regarding prescriptions is terrible, prescriptions take an unreasonably long time to fill, and the entire prescription-filling experience is awful. Frustrated to say the least
Avoid the sushi unless you want to get sick. Ruined my whole weekend and then some.
Take one hour to get a simple medicine. Best Walgreens ever.
Its been great to work with the team
One of the friendliest Walgreens Ive been to. Two floors and the sushi bar is so good.
The sushi is fantastic! The store is very busy during lunch but the lines move fast. Nice job Walgreens!
Very over priced merchandise. Just about everything is cheaper at Target. I was excited to get a new Walgreens and the space is nice but the workers are extremely rude and not customer service focused. Every worker there seems to really hate their job.Today I went in and they could not accept cash because the cashiers had no money in the drawers. Who ever manages this store is a moron is they can even handle that basics of having change in the drawers.Pharmacy is not bad although be warned the counter people yell out the name of your prescription so that everyone can hear it. No privacy at the counter and the workers will say your private information out loud. I was about 6 feet behind a lady getting her meds and I know her name, address and phone number as well as her meds because the tech talks so loud.Huge disappointment. Its not like a Walgreens.
Large two level Walgreen Wirth a fresh fruits / deli counter and sushi kiosk! Closes quite early, but was conveniently located.
I stop here wrote frequently, they always have a sale on snacks, which is my primary reason for visiting. They have lots of things to choose from (candy, chips, lunch food such as sandwiches, sushi, salads), some groceries (milk, pizzas, freezeables), personal hygiene products, and so much more on the second floor (which is conveniently connected to the IDS Center and Gaviidae building. My only issue is that it sometimes smells like a pet store, which is really weird.
All the staff are very helpful and nice.
Love this Walgreens!
Staff are extremely careless and one of the white old women was evil eyes and had evil heart. They didnt accept my insurance though I have no issues with other store. Instead me and my 2 year old son has been waiting for medicine for more than one hour . I suggest all customers to avoid this store .
This is hands down my favorite place to play hide and go queef. A game I invented where you find heavy women to fart on then accuse them of queefing immediately after. After which you then hide and make crow noises. There is always a surplus of foopas to find at this fantastic super clean Walgreens thanks to their fantasic snack selection. Wow super duper impressed.
Was on hold for 15 minutes. Someone answered and cut me off to tell me they were putting me back on hold. Finally got ahold of someone, I told her I would like to transfer my prescription from CVS to this pharmacy. She told me I would need to call CVS and hung up on me. So I called CVS and they said she should have taken my prescription and called them. What the hell. (This was at 4:45 pm on Friday November 2nd). Im just going to keep going to CVS. Dont bother with this place and their unprofessional attitude. And to think I was going to switch over to Walgreens since its closer, nevermind.
What the hell is that smell?! Its either the sushi bar upstairs or the cleaning material they use, because there isnt a day the 2nd floor just reeks.
Able to update account info at checkout...that was easy!
The pharmacy at this location is bad. The service is slow and theres typically not enough people behind any counter. More than once Ive had to wait in excessive lines (30+ min) only to be told my prescription is not ready (meanwhile my online account says the prescription is ready). Again---more than once! Most recently, after a week of waiting for them to hear back from my Dr. on a refilll - I contacted my Dr myself to see if I could move things along. The Dr. has NO record of a refill request from Walgreens. Good thing this medication refill doesnt mean life or death.Pharmacy aside, theres a lot of empty shelves, the basement smells like a toilet and Ive struggled to find basic household items in the past.
Very rude workers. And less than satisfactory customer service. You would expect more from a well know store located in the mist of downtown Minneapolis.I am very disappointed with that walgreens. And I liked walgreens.
Walgreens is where i shop at before i go to work i get medicine if im sick or pick up snacks or etc i been shopping at dt walgreens since 2010 i work dt im going to back off because the cashiers and floor staff are not friendly dont treat people like a criminal until proven guilty my money is as good as the next dont judge a book by the cover. I guess ill shop where im comfortable.
Called to ask about my prescription and was told it would be ready in 45 minutes. Showed up in an hour to be told 45 more minutes. Waited another 45 minutes at the pharmacy before they told me they were out of stock. Avoid this place if you can.
Like the new location. Decent service
Love Walgreens!!
Long lines and only two cashier working🤔🤔not cool at all
Because you have to go there for pharmacy to they take their time. No urgency. Waited over an hour with my sick ten year old daughter! Disgusted!
They close at 8 so they kicked me out when it was 7:30.... Ummmm... Okay... So I guess I walked here for no eff-in reason.
Awesome place!
Was happy about this store opening because it is convient to me in the mornings and evenings, but associate was extremley rude. Taking my service back to cvs.
Thanks for bringing this crappy store to Minneapolis. Gross and pointless. Waste of space.
Pharmacy can have long waits other than that it’s a good store with a convenient location!
ALWAYS a line at the pharmacy. Youd think theyd figure out theyre the only pharmacy in the skyway for when people take lunch or leave work
Ok 👌👍👍👍🏽
Long lines, high prices, friendly staff at times.
I shop Walgreens from time to time.
There pharmacy is terrible!! Never have enough help. Always plan on Ive spending over an hour. 30 min in line 45 for script and another 30 in line to pick it back up
Pretty bad overall — Hope you got some time to fill out your script, because it’s going to be a while.
I work here
The gentleman who cashed me out was very friendly and the place had what I needed.
Not that good customer service.
Awkward and unfriendly experience.
Very rude staff
