Great and Quick Experience! My rear brakes were making a loud scrapping noise. I suspected it was because of the brake pads, which the service technician confirmed was the case.Dropped off car at 745am. Got a call at 830am describing the problem and what it would cost. The cost was reasonable. Very friendly exchange with the owner Steve. Called back at 10:25am to say it was ready to pick up. I picked up my car 12 noon and the scrapping noise was gone.Super easy process and quick turnaround. Definitely gonna be my go-to play for car issues moving forward

FANTASTIC service! I got my struts replaced today and was feeling bummed because I needed to get the work done despite being really low on funds. They did it at totally reasonable cost AND fixed my front fender, which I had done a bang-up job of replacing months earlier FOR FREE and without asking. Thank you Mr. Tire staff!!! I was there to pickup Uhaul, and didnt get a great experience. From the start I was treated like a suspect rather than a customer. When calling on the phone it was an annoyance from the employees rather than a helper. I would suggest going somewhere else with the Uhaul pick up, as for tire service Im very happy with my discount tire and know nothing about Mr. Tire NorthEast.

Mr. Tire is the BEST!!! I have brought my car there so many times, and each time I am treated with respect, and also given honest advice about my vehicle. I drive a cheap car, and I dont want to dump more money into it than what its worth - they always give me their honest opinions on what does and does not need to be fixed. Steve runs a great shop. My high school age son is spending his senior year living and playing hockey in Minneapolis. Hard for me to help him out with car issues from 5 hours away. Steve took good care of the issue with my son’s SUV for a fair price and worked around his hockey schedule to get it done for him. So happy to know where I can send him if anything else comes up and trust that he will be in good hands. Thank you Steve and staff.

Google is constantly asking me to review Mr Tire Northeast, since Ive used them a lot. I have had nothing but great service from this place, and the prices are more than fair as well. They seem fast and always get the job done faster than the ETA theyve given me. I used them the whole time I owned my 2004 Ford Focus hatchback, and now my 2012 Chrysler 200. Ive probably used them up to 10 times total for everything from brakes, rotors, tires.

Fair service at inflated prices. Ive been a few times, and the cost is always 30% over market value. This most recent visit included a $120 diagnostic charge, for a 30 second code pull from a machine that costs $39 retail on Amazon.The previous time I went, it was to replace a lemon battery that I got there. They replaced the battery, but charged me $80 for labor. Should have just done it myself.Ill probably seek out a new auto shop.

Ive had my Highlander serviced here several times in addition to purchasing new tires. Ive never had anything but top notch customer service and fair pricing. The negative reviews here are completely misleading and unfair

I was very pleased by the service and professional courtesy of Mr. Tire. I had asked initially for them to fix a flat and then called and asked if they could rotate all the tires, which they did as well, all in about 2 hours. They now have a fully satisfied customer who will go back and also recommend them to my friends.

Always courteous. Were willing to look at my vans troubles even when they were swamped. They needed to order a part, and I came back when I could the next day. I ALWAYS feel Im being charged fairly which is a constant wonder in this world as a female in a pre-dominantly male operated business.

There was a rotational noise from front side while driving. He changed rotors but the noise didnt go away then he suggested to change wheel bearings too. All lies; ripped off $500. Toyota dealer took less than five mins to inspect and confirmed it was unevenly worn out tires, changed them, noise gone forever. (P.S. Photo of job invoice attached)

On weekends, you must get their early for same day service. When I went recently for an oil change, I also asked them to top off my other fluids. I even asked the counter attendant if that was done because thats not part of their usual oil change practice. When I went to my car and checked the fluids myself, they were all at fairly low levels. When I went back inside to tell him, he did top off the fluids but did not apologize much or offer any explanation. The decent prices and great location will probably have me back for routine maintenance though.

Had my car tire service here! They are incredibly trustworthy! Never once did I feel like they trying to up sell me services and parts just so they can make money. Would be a regular here!

The service and pricing were outstanding as always, though I would have like if our technician wore gloves and perhaps a facemask while getting into our car to check mileage.

Very good! Went in for alignment after new tires but they said I needed new ball joints. With my budget, I went a different route but came back for the same job, complete no questions asked!

Seriously great. So friendly and helpful, very honest, and dont laugh at my stupid questions (I know literally nothing about cars). As a woman, I usually get nervous about taking my car into a shop because quite frankly I dont want to get taken advantage of, but I feel like I can trust them and they are very respectful to me.

I went in with low tire pressure and they got me in right away and took care of the bolt that was in my tire. Very clean and friendly staff! Five star!

Great service and very quick. I dropped my Jeep off at 8:30 in the morning before my class. It was done when I was done with class at 12:05. Thats pretty quick if you ask me. And most of all the guys are all so delightful to deal with. Great job guys.

Charged me $650 for 1 valve stem and 1 wheel bearing. Basically double charged me and didnt even waive diagnostic of $60. There are much better places to take your vehicle. Sad how local business takes advantage of people sometimes. Happy Thanksgiving. Try repair pal certified shops.

Every time I need work done they try their best to do it ASAP, and they usually come through even though they dont take appointments. Having worked in auto service myself, I consider the folks at Mr. Tire Northeast to be of a high standard. They are unfailingly honest, dependable, and friendly.

Ive gone here probably 6 or 7 times over the past four years or so.The staff have always been friendly, honest, and very clear in their communications about my vehicle. Theyve provided me with options, and have never done unnecessary work, or suggested repairs that werent needed (I verified with other mechanics before authorizing work to be done). Their honesty and lack of up-selling is quite refreshing!

Came in for tire repair, the man at the counter asked what the situation was so I told him “I just put a donut on my car and want to have the flat repaired.” His response? “Do you think you’re the only person who has a flat today?”I had not asked for special treatment, merely stated the reason I had come into the shop and I was met with callous sarcasm.Took my business to Turbo Tim’s where I was greeted with empathy and a quick repair. I will not return to Mr Tire Northeast.

I can count on one hand the number of times I have EVER raved about a care service business. Mr. Tire gets my praise any day. The area is clean, the service is personal and efficient, and the people that work in every area are gracious. Plus, I think the business is honest in its pricing. I wouldnt hesitate to go back to this shop! They were quick and helpful. I had a screw in my tire that thankfully was repairable. I went in on a early but busy July Friday afternoon and they were able to get it in and inspect the tire and promptly fixed it!!

I used to go to Mr. Tire when I lived in Northeast a couple of years ago. When I had a couple of flat tires the other day I could have had my car towed to a place closer to me, but I chose Mr. Tire because they have always been helpful, fair, and had quick service.

Got low profile tires on my little Honda and I keep hitting potholes when I come from Madison area to here. Don’t like chain shops, I have my own personal mechanic for my car when I’m in at home so really hard for me to find a shop to go to, glad this shop was on google maps cause it’s a local shop and the people that work here are great, helped me w my check engine light that came on randomly on the ride, and a new profile tire for my rims so no more blisters. pricing is exactly where it should be for a auto shop. Great people and great work done here, highly recommend.

Ive brought my sons car in for new tires, due to a flat and they took me in with no problems. Upon my request, they put on two new tires and balanced them, within 1 1/2 hours. A God send to be certain. Larry and the staff were pleasant to work with and the service was great!

I went to Mr. Tires with no sound in my drivers side rear tire and left with a noisy drivers side rear tire. See the problem? I drove back promptly when I realized the noise and they said there was nothing they could do about it -even though it was not there before. They refused to fix a problem that they caused. Make sure you know all that is NOT wrong with your car before you go here or dont go at all.

Mr Tire is great. I have used them mostly to patch small holes and for occasional rotations. They analyze the wear pattern and rotate the tires appropriately instead of just rotating in a set pattern. The patch jobs are great because for $25 you can keep a tire that was otherwise in good condition instead of buying a new pair for $100+.

My husband & I cant say enough good things about the whole gang at Mr. Tire. Although we had initially expected a franchise with interchangeable mechanics, its not like that at all. This is a real old-fashioned neighborhood business with personal attention, friendly staff, & top-notch service. Theyre always good-humored & sympathetic (much appreciated when youre having car trouble), & they never stop until they take care of the issue if youre there to get something fixed. We quit going to our Subaru dealer & our lives got a lot easier, plus its always a pleasure to interact with these folks. We have recommended them to friends from the suburbs & they have continued to make the drive into the city in order to have their vehicles serviced here. They even take care of our small RV.

These guys are both genuinely friendly and honest, which is more than I can say for other locations in NE. To give an example, at one point they told me I should probably get new wiper blades, however they didnt push me at all to the buy the ones right there next to the desk. In fact they suggested that I could find them cheaper elsewhere if I looked around. Also, they dont recommend a few, new procedures every time I come in for an oil change. My experience with them isnt very extensive, so I cant slap on 100% approval, but signs indicate that they deserve your business.

They were great to work with to solve an intermittent car problem we had with the push button start on our 2014 Honda. We had done some searching on the web and heard horror stories on how expensive fixing a car that didnt start only part of the time could be. Steve Buck was focused on finding out what was causing the problem, not just replacing parts. The shop knows what theyre doing and offers honest solutions. I highly recommend them!

My husband and I thought we would bring our truck into this shop and give them a shot because they are close to home. We just paid another shop to fix the same issues we supposedly got fixed 3 months ago. There was also a drastic price difference for the same issue. Needless to say, we won’t be back.

Excellent service! The staff was friendly and very fast. Brough my car in at 8am for an oil change and tire balance and I received a call by 10am that my tires needed to be replaced. I was given multiple options with no pressure to buy (with reasonable pricing) and my car was ready with new tires and an oil change by 2pm that day! I couldnt be happier and I will definitely be going back for all my automotive needs.

They charged me $80 for a computer annalist without telling me how much it would cost. They justified it by telling me how much more their computer will reveal about the check engine light being on. I excepted it, because they said Mazda had done a recall on the part, and if I called them, I could get it fixed. I called Mazda, and there is no recall on the part. This place has lost my business forever.

I wish I could give them a quarter of a star for service. I got screw stuck in my tire this weekend, so I decided to get my tire repaired and at the same time support my local business. I called “Mr. Tire” on Monday and asked how I could get my tire repaired. They said “bring it in first thing at seven in the morning and will get you in and out.” On Wednesday of the same week, I arrived at 7am, and was told by the a grumpy old man shoveling snow that ‘We do not have any mechanics to work on vehicles until 7:30am and I would have to wait because they had 4 cars in front of mine.” I tried to explain to the grumpy old man that I called on Monday and I was told to come in at 7am and I could be in and out. The grumpy old man basically called me liar, “ we wouldn’t have told you that, you must have not called us” I was going to show the grumpy old man my cell phone showing I called on Mondays that particular business. But it was way too early and I didn’t feel like arguing with that old man. This old grumpy man was more interested in shoveling snow than trying to attend me and my needs. Just another example of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. They can go screw themselves; I hope they know they just lost a customer forever, I see now why a lot of Mr. Tires went out of business. With that type of service, they might as well close shop and go home. I can’t wait to tell all my FB and NE friends of my unpleasant experience…

I recently got a flat driving home on Broadway and the first parking lot happened to be this Mr. Tire. I went in and they managed to find me a used tire, advising that I should save up for an entire set in the coming months. I was in and out in a half hour and the tire they sold me has held up well ever since. I felt taken care of and even a little cared about and a bad situation left me feeling lucky rather than upset.

Excellent! I had an oil leak from a worn out gasket and they just replaced the gasket and gave me a solution to clean my floor! Excellent. Always fair and reasonably priced. Excellent customer service

I live very close to Mr Tire - Northeast and its not only convenient for me to go have my car worked on here, but I choose to because every time I stop in Im taken care of by their great staff. Reasonable prices, Im always able to get in when I need to even though I never have an appointment, they always make sure that I know what needs to be done with my vehicle so additional problems dont arise in the future, and they are a very friendly group of people. I would recommend visiting the next time your vehicle needs some work done.

I have been a customer of Mr. Tires for about 5 years now. Not only have I appreciated the service I receive for oil changes and the like but the service I have received for those weird moments in life when, like, your lug nut breaks off and you dont know what in the heck to do about it! Not only did they find away to fix it they were able to make me laugh about it! :) Now that is awesome because car repair issues can be stressful.I highly recommend them. The staff is always friendly, courteous, and accommodating.

Ive been here twice now. Each time I left feeling like I was honestly taken care of. The folks here are very nice and their prices are decent.

I went to Mr. Tire to have the brakes checked on my car. (fluid was leaking somewhere) While in the shop they found another problem with the car and gave me the option to repair that as well. They told me it was the master cylinder (which had been installed by another shop) that was leaking and that it was still under warranty. Since it was installed by another shop they suggested I take the car back to them, and they even called the other shop to let them know what they found. By doing this they saved me money when they could just have easily changed the master cylinder and charged me for it. I will go back to Mr. Tire in the future for any auto repairs. Mike

The guy in the front was really friendly, the issue that I have and reason they dont get 5 stars is that they advertise a great deal on oil changes in a mass marketing campaign and they dont have a dedicated person to do that. I was told that it would be At least A-day if not more to get my oil changed.🤔

I had a tire go flat and pop off the rim. These guys replaced it in an hour without an appointment despite a deluge of work caused by bitter cold weather. The owner was very nice and quite funny. The service was good and the price very reasonable.In short: In-and-out in under and hour with no appointment? In -5 degree weather? You bet Ill be back.

Tire alignment took about two hours from when I actually dropped the car off. The price was exactly as quoted over the phone. Other vendors could not provide an exact quote. Other vendors could not get me in as quickly.

I had a leaking tire so I read all the reviews before I gave this place a try. I didnt have an appointment but they were able to get me in around an hour which I really appreciated. The owner is friendly and a real jokester. I had two kids with me under the age of 4 so staying in a car shop for a long time was not what I was looking forward to. They got me out ASAP and the bill was under $25. I would go back for other car needs, I feel they can be trusted and thats really important for me with car repair.
