Amazing, fast service. Vandalism stopped my door from opening, but the techs were able to get the panel off and make the fix to the window anyway. They ordered the part needed to fix my door, too! A few other wonky things with my situation that they were not expecting, but everyone helped troubleshoot without getting irritated or raising my bill. Still finished the job within the 90 minute estimated window. Thank you, everyone that got involved today.

Got in at 830am, finished by 1030. Waiting area has good work desk, wifi, Keurig cups while doing repairs.

So far so good. Had them replace my windshield about 2 weeks ago, and they had the best prices I could find (they called half way through the job, and got an even better price) and it was done pretty quick. Good communications with text messages telling me every step of the way.

The saga continues continues! After having a sliding door window replace in Kearney NB on what becamea 3600 mileroad trip, I found the front door sticking. It was rubbing in the glass that was just replaced. I got an appointment for the to come to where my ABNB was to reinstall or replace it. As it was raining that day I went to the shop instead. It turned out there was a problem with my drivers door sagging and NOT a issue with the placement of the window. This shop also went out of their way to accommodate my needs. I also recommend this shop and Safelite as a Company to deal with.

Great service and communication!I was impressed with how easy I was able to get in touch and stay in touch with them during the process of my window repairs. They also finished everything very quickly.They came all the way to my work location and the guy helping me got in touch with me before hand in order to make sure for a smooth process!I can’t speak for the cost cause my insurance covered everything but the service is great!

-My dashboard was left filthy-A piece from my trim wasn’t put back in place-I have greasy hand prints on my car and review mirror-The lady and gentleman I spoke with upon pickup were very polite. Neither of them were the ones working on my car though.-Just wish they paid attention to details as now I have to re-clean my car just because of the poor work.Our automobiles are important to us. They should treat them like they’re theirs.

Great Service! I was able to schedule online and pick a time. At the same time enter all my insurance information and have it applied before I even got to the shop. The tech was very nice and had the job done in the stated time window, they even cleaned all my windows on the car! I am very happy with this shop.

Front desk lady was rude and unprofessional. I had an appointment at 11:30 am I got there at 11:20 Am. She told me my appointment was pushed back until 1:00pm and it will take 3 hours to replace a windshield. I wouldn’t recommend. I went to advantage auto glass and got my windshield replaced in 1 hour and I got treated with respect .

Mixed up the heat shield but caught it before install so had to wait another week. They did a clean job and scheduling was easy

The tech and staff were awesome. With the cold weather there were at times 7 people in their 10x20 waiting room.Not all of the other customers were COVID-19 cautious.Upon request the staff went over and above to relocate me to another location onsite. I do not blame the staff for the waiting room situation and I appreciate their accommodating me as I am high risk.

My window was stuck and wouldnt roll up, and since thats a less complicated process than replacing a window entirely, the employees working today were able to look it immediately (even though Id messed up the appointment process). I couldnt be happier with how it went. Everyone was professional and polite, and the window was fixed within maybe an hour. I know this isnt their usual project, exactly, but they still deserve commendation for excellent service.

My windshield was broken and i had it replaced with the incorrect glass claiming they didnt have it in stock * i waited 1 week for this appointment they didnt tell me until the day of. A few months later it started leaking rain water.....they fixed it in about an hour. It hasnt rained for months......here we go 8 months later.......it rained today and surprise surprise, windshield leaking again..even worse this time i have a puddle in my car 😫 rescheduled another warranty appointment. Hopefully this time they ACTUALLY fix it. Will come back and post with an update...so far the service is horrid. Not to mention they ripped the liner in the ceiling of my car.....*sigh* can u guys train your people to correctly install windshields.

Came in for an appointment to have my windshield replaced. Had to set up an appointment ahead of time, but they had all of my insurance information ready. The tech managed to get my vehicle in about a half hr early, and had the entire process done (including calibrating the cameras) in about half the time I was expecting. Everything works perfectly, and Safelite has done a wonderful job.

When I originally called Safelite I was incredibly frustrated from dealing with my window being smashed, and my car broken into. The gentleman on the phone was really understanding, and by the end of the conversation I was far less stressed out and laughing at the customer service representatives jokes.Upon arrival at the Minneapolis office I was warmly greeted by a very friendly woman. She even took the time to see if they could fix my window that very same day but they didnt have the part in stock. I was really appreciative of that small gesture.The tech who took my vehicle into the shop to install the crash-wrap was also so nice. He showed empathy to my situation, and was really descriptive of the forthcoming installation of my new window, and how the crash-wrap works.*Edit: the service tech named Guy provided extremely friendly and fast service right in the parking lot of where I work. He left my vehicle clean, mentioned he checked all the operating parts (wipers, lights, etc), and was clear about the replacement of my window. Thanks again! Arrived on December 5 for my appointment. Right off the bat these guys know what they’re doing. Professional. Clean and neat. After going back to the receipt I got to know that they use (Sika) polyurethane which is one of the leading adhesives in the automotive industry. You can only schedule through website and they use covid as an excuse to not answer the phone so you cant ask the price of disposal fee or any other questions you may have. Price for my windshield was more expensive than other companies that include disposal.

I chose to go to the warehouse location to have my new windshield installed. They were very acomidatimg & courteous to my family& I. They also follow all covid regulations which is important to alot of people.

I got here at 9 am and watched people come in and out for 3 hours until they finally let me know at 12 pm that it would be another half hour. im never coming back and i will be telling everyone i know not to come here either. it takes usually about an hour to change a windshield, not 3

My experience with Safelite was top notch. I called my insurance company on a Thursday and had the option to schedule my windshield repair for the following day, or that Saturday. The speedy repair was appreciated.The communication from Safelite was great. I received an email update confirming my appointment, and a couple texts from the service tech (Ronny I believe) day of confirming the appointment and providing an estimated update on the timing. We had a hectic Saturday planned so those updates were incredible.Ronny was fantastic. Super cool guy who walked me through the process, told me what he needed from me, and I what I could expect from him. I could tell he took pride in his job and that goes a long way with me. Trying to get a hold of a person here is impossible. And not only that is you go through their week page for a quote you will get a much lesser one by like 100$. But if you usetheir Groupon coupon ( whiff which is suppose to saveyou money) then it is much more even with their 100$ coupon that you pay almost 30$ for. So in reality if you go through the Groupon app you are payingthem 30$ to so they call charge you all extra 100. Something not right about that. So I tried to call and suprise suprise due to covid19 b no one answered calls. Not even those work at home employees. This is a law suite waiting to happen. I personal am not the sure happy type of person . but watch out so you dont pay to get ripped off

This is a truly a great place to go for your windshield needs. I discovered a small chip in my windshield this morning and they fixed it same day. The people are friendly, courteous and know what they are talking about. The final job looked great. Hopefully I dont have to come back, but if I need my windshield worked again, this will be my only call to get it done!!

They came quick and on time, the technician was very nice. The company is very tech savvy and they will send you emails with pictures or your tech, reminders, and quality surveys. He did however break my wiper arm removing the windshield. This was on a Friday, he said by Monday the main office would have someone come out to put on a new one. That did not happen until wed. A few days later which would be Monday I was at the car wash when the attendant gave me whips to clean my dash etc. I started wiping and noticed a huge crack in my dash that is 6-7 inchs long. I called the manager Thursday after noon, he came out the next morning and told me to call and get two estimates. $1478.09 is what the Auto body shop told me it will be for repairs, plus more if damages is underneath. I will certainly update this posting based on how the rest of this process goes. But for now, I am not sure anyone would rate the experience I have had any higher. I honestly am not sure the tech knew he broke it, he installed the window in my underground heated garage in the winter and it was pretty dark. Still no excuse for not using a flashlight to double check your work. I am sure 90% of the time satellite is much better but not for me right now.

Very happy with my experience here! Will definitely come back next time I need a windshield replaced. They replaced it in about 2 hours. Although I didnt use the amenities, they do have a waiting lounge with free WiFi and coffee. Came in just expecting to get my front windshield replaced and they also washed the rest of my windows and vacuumed my car!

Besides some reasonable difficulties with having a camera in my car and now approaching our 3rd rescheduled date theyve been very helpful and accommodating.

The place to buy windshields is at the warehouse instead of having the mobile truck come and replace the windshield at your home or business. Waiting can take an hour, but the prices are lower.The aftermarket windshields can be worthless for the money spent. However Safelite Glass worked on the Pontiac Montana Van until I sold the van earlier this year! (2019) Impressed when a small rock flies up and Whack! and no breakage!

Im sure they do a good job but the quote for a small glass chip was $119. Thats ridiculous. Went to a competitor for $75. Go elsewhere for much better pricing on routine chips.

The glass they use is ridiculously poor quality and adds a lot of distortion to lights at night, not to mention that it cracked on me one night because it got too cold. The techs also managed to screw up the windshield molding, then quoted me ten times what the part cost to fix their mistake. I’d highly recommend looking elsewhere.

After having my rear windshield installed, I noticed the view through the window blurry...I thought there may have been a plastic protective coating on the glass which was not taken off after the installation, but upon closer inspection the glass was wavy like a cheap soda bottle. I see this as a break down of quality control from the manufacturer to the installer. I called Safelite and they offered to send a mobile tech out to replace it, the new window hopefully will be better quality....update...they changed the glass and it is much better.

I will never schedule with SAfelite . When I scheduled my chip to be repaired, I was told I would either have a morning or an afternoon appointment. I was told that the day before my appointment I would receive a much more exact time. SInce I had not received that phone call I was promised the day before, I called ONLY to find out Safelite does not make the scheduled appointment time until the actual day of the appointment. When I scheduled my appointment, that particular day was a day off from work - that I did not want to sit around the house waiting for them to come. Thus I was given false information about callbacks for the day before the appointment. I called a different car windshield company who gave me a 1 hour time frame. Safelite could not produce what they had promised.

Fast service takes just an hour to have window shield replaced

I made an appointment and then ended up needing to change it which was pretty easy just calling in. When I got there, I spoke with someone right away dropped off my keys after showing them the damage to my windshield and then headed over to Surly for a beer, waited about an hour and a half then returned and with in minutes they had my keys back in my hands explained my warranty and I was on my way. Very friendly and easy to work with.

I thought that Safelite did a good service by coming out to replace my windshield. Little did I know that they would cut the wiring to my cars security system and auto starter system. This was never mentioned to me. I had to figure it out for myself and then replace the lines, costing more money. The shop that had to replace the system stated the lines were cut and then DUCT TAPED back together, without attempting to fix the connection. Im very upset at the damage this caused and will never use Safelite again.

Taw came out to my office to fix my chipped windshield while I worked. He was very timely and the repair was quick and looks great. Would highly recommend this Safelite location.

They did a good job on replacing the rear window on my Explorer. The trouble was the trim plate that was glued to the window was damaged. This made painting the panel very difficult.I wish they had told me they were going to install a damaged part, I have waited for them to get a better part.

Had my windshield replaced on 7-19-19... what I was left with was fenders that was not cleaned up by him. My dash was filthy. He dropped a socket on my fender. He scratched both my wiper arms. He scratched both door jams with his boots. He didnt have any towels to clean my windsheild. He did not put back the plastic cowling from under the hood. And you top it off. My car is brand new. Less than 4 thousand miles. And he jumped all around my car like it was a 92 dodge caravan. When I questioned him he said it was road grime but I informed him I washed my car by hand in my driveway 25 min before he showed up. So what am I to do with all the scratches he left in my car? I took pictures and called and left voicemail.... waiting the hear back. And the windsheild isnt even on right. Its crooked! If you want your car trashed... go with safelite.

I used them two weeks ago and their service was extremely poorly . I waited in their office lobby for a good 4 and a half hours and no one attend to me.I finally went in to ask them about my car, and they told me theyve replaced my glass and cannot put back my wiper. They damage my wiper motor.

The place was confusing to get to. (I don’t live in Minneapolis.)I got there and I was greeted by a lovely young lady at the sencond door.After that, she instructed me to keep my coat on (because it was cold outside) and a technician would be with me shortly to further inspect my cracked windshield and tell me what can be done.I sat in the lobby and I waited 5 minutes for the technician to come get me.We inspected the car and I waited the promised time of 2 hours. (It was actually 1 hr and 45 minutes wich was very good)The technician (who’s name I forgot but his tech ID is :01844-625) was very professional, welcoming and very nice and answered my questions without hesitation and with confidence. (which made me feel relieved) He even vacuumed the front side of my car (which was very nice)Definitely going to return for any future window/windshield/rear-window needs.***Very Important***Follow the instructions that they give you for your windows. Do not run it through the carwash for 3-4 days after installation, maybe that’s why people “had” a bad experience with these guys.

Back in June 2017 my husband took our RV camper to have the front windshield replaced. When we got our camper home we found outthat the windshield leaked. My husband took it back in to have the windshield leaked fixed and when we got it back home and the first rain fell, it still leaked. We also noticed at this time that the rear-view mirror was not placed in the proper location so we could put down the passenger visor properly. We BOTH went back the third time....nowspending 10 hours to get the front windshield in properly. This timethey put a another new windshield in and we made sure they put therear view mirror in the correct location. We are finally thankful we haveno more leaking, but we will not go back to Satellite again, as we were notre-imbursed for our time and the frustration of having to bring our RVback so many times.

Terrible experience - took almost 2 weeks to get them out to fix - now several weeks later it turns out they put in in incorrectly and rain has been leaking in and down the frame - soaking and ruining the carpet of our brand new car! Do it right the first time, please!

This technician went the extra mile! Literally.It was raining when the technician arrived at my parking lot at work. He asked if I had a garage to park in, but I did not. He drove back to the shop, dropped off the glass that was in his truck, came back, left his truck in the parking lot, drove my car in, replaced the window, and dropped my car off in the parking lot again. It was vacuumed and the outside windows were washed.Use this company, they did a great job for me!

Safelite was great with my small broken window. They took care of everything and faster than their estimated time for the fix as well, while providing coffee, water, wifi, and seating in their waiting area. Only downside was a little confusing entryway, I basically walked up to someones cubicle to get assistance.

Blake repaired my rock chip and everything went well! He was very nice and explained how he would do the work as well as what to expect afterwards. Hopefully I wont have to come back but if I get another rock chip, Ill certainly have Safelite do the work.

So, my son broke someones rear glass of a ladys car when he was playing with rocks as he shouldnt have. Anyway, I needed a service fast and also someone that would go to her so I can make her live easier. Which, SafeLite did both. my service agent called before an hour he was coming over and got it fixed ASAP and correctly on the first installment. Ive not heard any complaints from her.I will recommend Safelite to my friends, family, and everyone.

My windshield cracked about 3 weeks after put it in. And also leaked called them that looked and said it was from a chip. I didnt see no chip. And they NVR fixed the leak. I will NVR go back there again. In Rochester MN.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!!I had gotten a couple of chips in my windshield from a dump truck on the freeway that lead to a large crack across half of the windshield. My insurance company recommended Safelite and as they had access to their schedule, I went with it. The technician came out on 3/13/18 in the afternoon and replaced the windshield and left. I went out to inspect the job and found significant damage to both the interior and exterior of my vehicle. Chip in the fender, scratches/cut marks in both pillars, cut up dash including speaker covers and interior pillar trims. The technician also left dirty finger prints and urethane on the glass of both doors and rear view mirror that I had to clean. I called the local MPLS office and was told I had to drive the vehicle down to the shop so that a manager could take a look. In my opinion that manager should have gotten in a company vehicle and came out to me. So I drove down to the shop, the assistant manager does a once over and takes a few pictures. I was instructed to go get an estimate of the damages and they would TRY to fix this for me. I was not very confidant in the answers I got to my questions and then was refereed to the manager who I did not meet or talk to. I drove strait to a local auto body shop and was quoted for $3,855.96 of damages not including any damages that was unseen. On my way to the auto body shop I now notice that the windshield was not sealed properly and I was hearing a lot of wind noise. I called and reported this right away to the manager who said she was going to be out the following day.3/14/18 comes and goes, I had to borrow a family members vehicle to get to and from work because I was not confident that the windshield was properly installed. I drive 50 miles one way to get to work on freeways up to 70 mph and the last thing I needed was for the windshield to come off in any way and cause me more problems.3/15/18 The manager called me in the morning and said that the big boss was coming into town today and that I would have my answer by the afternoon. She called back that afternoon and said that they thought the estimate was TOO HIGH and that they wanted me to drive back down to the shop so that they can have a technician reset my windshield and reassess the damages because they believe that the assistant manager had not originally reported that much damage. What was in his report was just a couple of scratches to the outside pillars and that there was NO interior damage. This was infuriating. After some discussion over the phone they were going to send out one of their senior quality control technician so I wouldnt have to drive to the shop. Approximately 2:30 P.M. the senior technician arrived and did a detailed inspection, which found a dent in the passenger side pillar that I had overlooked initially. This means the cost to fix was only going to go up. He took multiple pictures of the damages and got to work on resetting the windshield. When the job was done around 3:30 P.M., I was told that the windshield was installed too low and that there was a large, approximately two foot, gap at the top center of the windshield where there was no urethane seal at all. So in the 48 hours that my truck was sitting in the driveway was long enough to have accumulated water into the area and potentially water damage to the overhead liner. This will also drive the cost of fixing my vehicle up. The next step was for him to finish his report and submit it to management who will be contacting me. The rest of the day go by and there was no phone call.3/16/18 It is currently 2:20 A.M. this matter has brought me a great deal of stress and anxiety to point of losing sleep. The big boss had denied the original estimate of damages. After the inconvenience and having to cancel my plans to go up to the cabin for the weekend. I have my doubt and reservations about Safelite taking care of these matters in a timely fashion. Regardless of the out come I will never use them again and will not recommend to anyone.

These guys were very friendly at their offices (thats where we had to bring the car because they are so busy it would have taken 3 days to get my friends winsheild fixed, so we brought it in 36 hours after we called, it was their soonest appointment open!, They seemed really busy...) The glass looked perfect, but it did take them a total of 3.5 hours when they told us an hour and a half, maybe two hours so that was a bummer, but we walked to the nearby brewery, then up to the train line and rode around just to sightsee by train, so that was fun! Oh yeah lol they promise not to leave any glass in the vehicle, but sadly that was a let down. He still has glass in his car, and dont expect that they will pick up anything except the glass with their vacuum because youll be disappointed, unless you plan on cleaning your car afterwards to match the new clean glass they just installed.
