Went in to look at some bars for my bike as I need something with a different grip angle. The guys I talked to helped me find something suitable, they also had a good selection of other parts Im looking for. Friendly guys, lots of conversation and help to be had. Just wish they were closer to my house... then again its another excuse to get out and ride!
Do NOT do business with these guys, I brought my bike here then after a week or so was told that my bike was fixed, running and ready to be picked up, only to call back and speak with a different guy who then adjusted the price from $491 I was told to $797. Then I said Ill just take my bike back. But I call again and speak with another guy who tells me that yeah it was a mistake on someone that didnt include the labor price. Well thats not my fault and besides I paid near $400 a year ago for a carburetor cleaning at the same place and now their prices have gone up, but they act like its just the cost of labor. Theyre a bunch of BS. In all fairness they should have left the price as quoted by the first guy and honored the mistake. But of course not, doing good business is not who they are!!!
I purchased a CB Modulator for a 98 Goldwing. They advertised it in complete working order, at a fair price with excellent shipping optionsThe shipping was awesome 1 week. The item had minor seal issues on the back and was missing mounting screw. Minor stuff. The electronics however are at best temperamental. Finally got it to correct channel we want. Time will tell.
Found a part for my 89 goldwing, that Ive been looking for since 2018. Professional, knowledgeable and treated me right. The price was unbelievable and theyre shipping it to me. My millennium has been made!! Thank you Milwaukee salvage and Casey. Omg Im so happy!!!
I purchased a set of carburetors over the phone. They are very knowledgeable and professional. The carburetors matched exactly what was shown in the pictures and they arrived quickly to my home in another state. They assisted me in getting multiple over parts for my bike and gave me suggestion on other things to look at. They didn’t try convincing me to buy something I wasn’t talking about originally. They were respectful and patient. They were able to find parts I could not find and help me in getting the parts. If you are looking for fair priced, quality items that match the pictures you see. I would definitely use this company, they took good care of me and I will definitely continue to use there company to purchase items.
Dropped in to find some mirrors for my naked GPZ1100. They helped me find something that would work, showed me how to install them and even lended me a wrench so I could put them on right away. Very helpful and reasonably priced.
I purchased a chrome fender from MCS on eBay. I picked it up at their shop and it was exactly as shown online. Ill be checking with them for all my cycle parts going forward. Courteous, friendly service.
Ron and his guys are great, they brought back to life my 40 year old motorcycle that sat outside for many years. Will be bringing my other bikes back for service. Stopped in to get a clutch lever for the old bike and they found a good used one at a fantastic price. Awesome shop.
I have a highly customized Bike that doesnt really make adding parts an easy or straight forward task. And I knew finding a garage/shop that would want to work on that kind of bike could be a bit of a challenge. Ron and his crew at Milwaukee Cycle were more than happy to present a creative solution to what I was after and their final deliverable exceeded my expectations. The end result is a product application that performs very well and follows the aesthetic of the bike without looking out of place. I know what they did took some time, effort, and creativity and couldnt just be ordered and bolted on. Thats what sets these guys apart, theyll go the extra mile and think outside the box. The end result shows this thinking and tenacity and was worth it in all aspects !!I will happily return to them with all of my MC needs, maintenance and so forth. I worked primarily with Ron, and couldnt be any more pleased with the results.
I have been going to Milwaukee Cycle for years and the entire staff (including the owner Ron) are the best people in the world for service and professionalism.
Milwaukee cycle salvage is an awesome place. Lots to see but the service is out of this world. The guys went the distance to make sure some brake parts I wanted would fit and at a great price. Nothing hacked up, all bolts, fastners and assorted extras came along and tagged from what bike it came off of. Thats a great way to service a customer. I am storing my bike there with a promise that come spring it will be ready to roll with out any Fuss!
I’m giving these guys five stars, and to answer what your thinking about, no, I don’t know these guys and they did not ask me to give them a review, heck I drove over six hours to pick up my item and I literally was only there less than twenty minutes. So, my reason for giving these guys five stars, is because they seemed like good people to me, awesome customer service and reinsurance, which I definitely needed. By the way I bought a “06 CBR1000RR Engine from these guys, to start off they answered every question that I had about the engine and in depth. A week later I asked if they would work with me on the price, and they sent me an offer immediately that I could not refuse, I will not say exactly what I paid for the engine because, you never know I could have gotten a deal better than the last guy, lol but, I will say now, I can buy that new PS5 for my nephew. Then to top it off I was giving reassurance that if this engine is a dud, I can bring it back and that they will not have an issue refunding me. And if I have any questions that their just a call away. I really wish these guys had a shop down here in Cincinnati, I would definitely let these guys work on any of my bikes. Thanks MCS so far you’ve earned my repetitive business.P.s.I, was wanting to buy, an OEM left side mirror, for the “06 bike
I have been going to Milwaukee cycle for the past 7 years Ron is the owner he is a fantastic business man family friendly service also offers great deal on winter storage $25 a month for your bikes bring them all to him battery tenders checks everything has a $75 oil change special I believe has over 500,000 Parts all makes all models all years from the 1970s to the current Yamaha Suzuki Kawasaki Harley-Davidson Hayabusa every part in peace you can imagine would never go anywhere else always feel like Im leaving there and got treated with respect a great businessman I recommend everybody go to Milwaukee cycle go meet Ron and tell him that Glenn sent you thank you
Always had great experiences with this shop throughout the years. Accommodating and considerate with every issue I’ve ever brought them. Especially Cassey
Best place for classic motorcycle parts and service around! Took my 1984 GPZ900 in to have it looked over after my accident and to find parts to rebuild it, when I walked in I felt like a kid in a candy store. If you cant find your classic parts here then you probably wont find them anywhereThanks guys!
They are horrible at communication they say they will call you back never do repairs not done in a timely fashion by any means i highly recommend if you need service go elsewhere only good for used parts and accessories other than that completely incompetent
Courtesy & Prompt Service!
They always have parts for my cycles and great customer service! No models refused! If they dont have parts, they can find you what you need. I take my bikes to get services here. They are upfront about costs and I sure love to check out their displays!
Cool people Owner called me to handle my issue and explain some of the barriers faced. Truly appreciate the thoughtfulness and Ron calling me and talking to me. Thanks.
I purchased a part from this seller on EBay and they claim part was in working order and when I installed it, it does not work . And that will not accept a return or offer to replace with another part, Bad business practice.
Always very professional and helpful with finding the various parts that I inquire about. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Have had bike serviced there and would go there again if needed. Would recommend.
Amazing they had a caliper bolt that I needed in stock.
Great place and great staff. I needed some parts for my nighthawk and they found them for me. Even when i changed up my order they didnt miss a beat and took care of me. Awesome people 👍
Everything was ordered and complete good customer service
I just called Milwaukee Cycle with a quick question on wheels for an older bike and spoke with Paul. He was fantastic and took his time to explain the information I needed to make a decision.
I was working with Ron but interacted with several other employees. Not AT ALL what I was expecting! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! Its obvious they like their jobs and the customers liked being there.
Simply the Best! Quality with Integrity. Ron was Great to Deal with.Very fair and reasonable prices. I would recommend to anyone.
The best place to get service done. Very honest guys working. Ron is awesome... These guys get the job done. Thanks again Milwaukee Cycle Salvage!
Consistently GREAT experiences at Milwaukee Cycle. Very knowledgeable staff, and always get the job done thoroughly and right. As a female rider, Im very comfortable with the staff at Milwaukee Cycle - they are polite and with the little mechanical knowledge I have I dont feel nickel and dimed or taken advantage of when it comes to pricing.
Very friendly and helpful. I got a used engine and got my Honda CL350 running again! They also bought some of my old parts back and gave me a good deal.
Great guys. I end up giving them my used bikes for parts. Their accessory shop has a lot of stuff and old parts. Some of those fuel tanks are custom paint jobs.
These guys are awesome. Staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
This is a great place to do business with. Ive bought and sold stuff here multiple times. I recommend this place to all my friends that need parts or are looking to sell parts!
Ive worked with Ron and staff a few years back when I owned an 82 CB750F. Always knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.Recently I brought my 6 year old nephew in for a motocoss helmet. Since he hadnt ever had a full face on, he was very apprehensive. Ron took extra time reassuring Dreyken of the proper fit for the helmet. Ron even made a deal with him to try it on for a bag of M&Ms. The short, Ron went over and beyond the norm to ease an apprehensive child. Our 1st ride with the new helmet started similar as the store experience, but concluded with singing, laughter, and chants of faster, faster! A great introduction to the enjoyment of motorcycling! I look forward to working with Ron and Milwaukee Cycle Salvage for my Road King, and future rides with my nephew.
I brought my bike here for new tires and had a very good experience. The work seems to be done very well after my initial ride, and the people were all very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.
Bought my first bike from MKE salvage. The Staff was great, especially Ron. When the bike needed a little work Ron was quick to fix the bike and get me riding again. Great Experience!!
Great prices, great people. Helped me multiple times so far this summer with my 07 Heritage Classic Softail. I will be back in again today to pick up some mirrors, as long as they have set for me.I reccomend all my friends and family to this place as well as other riders. This place will take care of you.
Very friendly staff.
My adventures at Milwaukee Cycle Salvage started honest enough. My girlfriend wanted to ride with me, so we were looking for a local shop with good prices and knowledgeable staff to help her get suited up for a summer of riding. We found that Milwaukee Cycle Salvage staff were friendly and their inventory was decent enough, that visiting another shop wouldnt be necessary. After a month of riding, my girlfriend decided that the biking bug had bit her. She got her license and bought a small, inexpensive bike to learn on. She purchased a new tire from Milwaukee Cycle Salvage and had some other maintenance performed, further strengthening her customer relationship.Another month passes and her bike begins to have problems starting. We take the bike back to Milwaukee Cycle Salvage and have them give the bike a diagnosis (neither my girlfriend nor I have experience in motorcycle mechanics.) The techs at shop determine that her connecting rods were bent and that the bike was useless. They offered her $100 to take the bike off her hands, when she had bought it only two months previously for $1500. She spent nearly $400 with Milwaukee Cycle Salvage. We took the bike to another shop for a second opinion. They cleaned the carburetor and the bike runs without issue.I am not sure if the techs are Milwaukee Cycle Salvage are completely incompetent or were deliberately trying to rob my girlfriend, but they will no longer be receiving any business from me and I implore any potential customer to take your business elsewhere.*May 2017 follow up* - I just noticed that there was a response from the owner and believe that his response speaks millions about his business ethics:Erin did spend $400 with us but that was over the entire summer for a helmet, tire and maintenance. - Youre literally disparaging a customer here. We could have ordered the helmet off of Amazon, but we believe in small business and chose to give you the profit. Sorry about that....and that person told them that he had gotten it running. They never saw or heard it run. - This is true. We never saw/heard it run. However, we didnt tell them the name of the shop where we had the service done, so it was out of their own interest that they messaged us about it running. For what reason would they lie?I had requested several times to have Kevin call me, he would not return my calls. I am not compelled to, nor required to take a phone call. I also had purchased parts from you for both my Sportster and my FZ6. There are other bike shops in town and I dont have time to deal with someone asking me to remove a negative Google review. Its curious that you have me in your customer database, you know my name, but you did not attempt to contact me directly, but would always work through Erin.1-star review stands.
I came in to get a new tire placed onto a wheel. They seemed like alright guys, and did the job pretty quick so I made the mistake of assuming they filled the tire to a decent pressure and didnt bother checking for a couple weeks. When I did want to check my pressure, I noticed that whoever installed the tire tightened the cap onto the valve stem so hard that the thread was messed up and it was impossible to remove. These guys have someone working for them who cant put a cap onto a valve properly, do you really want to trust them with vital safety equipment on your bike?
The difference between and good company and a great company is in how they handle a customers problem. I recently ordered a complete exhaust system from Milwaukee Cycle for my 2009 DL650 VStrom. I received the carton within a few days. The system was packed properly so there was no damage. Upon unwrapping the pieces, I was excited to see that the parts looked they had never been used. They were bright and shiny without a scratch. My excitement drained when I noticed that this system was for a newer model VStrom and would not fit my bike. After a couple of conversations with Ron at Milwaukee Cycle, we came to an agreement that we both thought was fair. Ron even went the extra mile to find the exact system that I needed -- at another supplier! Ron and his team are first rate, customer first, business people. I look forward to our next transaction.
Great place to get your bikerepaired immediately!!!! Cody, thanks for the help bruh!!!
Friendly people and good prices!!
Awesome people and service! They have a great inventory for custom builds and casual repairs.
I faced an issue early on with my order and scheduled delivery time. Ron took it upon himself to contact me personally and proposed a very reasonable remedy for the situation. Thanks again.
This is one of the best places you can go for your motorcycle needs, theyre not always the cheapest on parts, but their service and quality is the best. I brought in my crashed yamaha FJR 1300, they took off all the parts i requested and charged me nothing in return even though i know they wont get more than $30 in scrap cause the engine and frame were destroyed he said dont worry about it, its your bike theyre your parts, just be safe and come back in for service when you need that tire put on and then he smiled and shook my hand. I have never been so caught off guard by such kindness and customer service, i felt so guilty i ended up bringing beer and pizza for them the next day :)
Great experience overall. My tire popped on me bike, they got me in and out in one day just in time for a nice road trip for the weekend.
Great service kacie did my oil change great guy and great help
Not nice people. Liars. Would not recommend to anybody. Bad experience.
Dont buy the fake reviews, look at the first two real ones before you read the ones they wrote for themselves. I bought and paid for a part only to be told that if I wanted it (after it was supposed to be already delivered) that I would have to pay 150% of the agreed price. Bait and switch BS tactics that only cheats and thieves use! They are rude and will talk down to you if you dont go for their BS tactics as well. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PUNKS!
Had what I needed, great price, excellent customer service, and the dog Rocky is so cute. Milwaukee Cycle has what you need!
Unprofessional and rude. They botched replacing my direct drive and werent interested in doing it right. I go to MotoScoot now, much happier there.
Excellent customer service! Explains thoroughly what needs to be done to get my bike up and running properly!!
Casey hooked me up! I bought my very first motorcycle here, in spring. A 1980 Honda CX500, it has been awesome to ride all summer. It has had zero operating-issues, even though its 35 years old. Ive learned how to ride, store and manage a motorcycle from these guys. Ill be coming back for a 2nd or 3rd on down the road.
Asked them to dismount/mount two motorcycle tires on my rims. So I get the back rim on the bike and notice the directional tire is on backwards. Not sure how they managed that one, I told them to take their time and Ill pick it up when its done. So Im going to back up, prior to that I get a call from them saying both rims need valve stems. Supposedly there are inner tubes in both tubeless rims. Honstly I have no idea if there was in fact tubes in there or not because I havent owned the bike for that long. So they quote me $8 per valve stem and I tell them to go ahead. Get this they install one really small rubber automotive style valve stem on the front and a j shaped semi truck style valve stem on the back. Normally I wouldnt make a issue of them being mismatched but at $8 each its inexcusable.
I Made arrangements to sell scrap parts for bikes & car. Ron emptied everything ( tools, tool boxes, shop vac, tin pics... Everything!! ) He was horrible! He was clear they had guns, he had outlaw friends. I was a mess! I managed to grab a few other items right before he was taking off. He wrote a check (and canceled it ) before I even knew he had emptied me out of everything. The police were called. Greenfield police ( the laziest of all ) say to take it to civil court. He wrote another check & started intimidating the person that went to pick it up. Ron is a Horribly twisted individual that cant be trusted. He will smile at your face while hes ripping you off! There was no reason to point out his gun or his Outlaw affiliations except to put fear in me while he and his guy took over 20k of my belongings. BEWARE!!!UPDATE: RON knew I had a divorce going & a 4yr RO.He priced $3k for car/bike scrap parts a 1973-4Yamaha. A friend did offer me $900 for scrap & a motor ONLY! Ron TOOK over $20k of my property! When Ron got to my home 1st nite (9pm) he said was clearing things so my bay window didnt get damaged. They only had time to haul some small stuff would be back..2nd time he emptied me out of EVERYTHING, the car/bike parts, the motorcycle which was agreed; but after a fight broke out, I called police, I was so shaken up I stayed out of the way & I had a injury. I saw one truck pull away, I looked out the back door & saw my air compressor, pressure washer, my grandsons bike, posters off the wall and many other items, that I had photograph before they arrived,in this trailer; Ron even tried taking the florescent shop lights off the ceiling. When Steve came back I told him that there was stuff being taken that wasnt included. He got Ron.I was able to get some things off the truck but was still worried after Ron reveiled he was carrying a gun.Still upset from the earlier altercation, I had NO idea until after he left that they took EVERYTHING tool/boxes, hand tools, welders, torches, shopvac, fishing poles, shelves, tires I listed 4sale etc. It was dark, I was alone at my home, in fear at time of loading since he felt the need to tell me of his Outlaw affiliations & his gun.(I told Ron earlier conversation of the man Im divorcing & his abuse w/guns and his affiliations & my fear of this person and that I had a RO ; I gave too much info! He asked me about him on the 2nd nite at which time I pulled up a picture on mugshots & Ron snapped a picture w/his phone) He pulled out & parked on the road behind the pickup truck. Ron came back, wrote a check & took off. I deposited the check, got a text not to he CANCELD it.The entire time hes in contact with my abuser for reasons there are NON! I called the police. I told them what he did, that he took everything from me besides what was agreed & that he canceled the check. This should have been Grand Theft but they called him instead. I wanted my stuff back & Ron told the police that I would have to pay him. I was told by many that as a salvage yard & having property almost a Month, that my stuff was most likely gone. The police set up for me to get my cash even though this was not what I really wanted & because I now feared Ron as a threat to me I agreed. I still had the option to get back my items. I argeed that I would ONLY meet at the police station the next evening. I called the police the next day and I said no, this was wrong & I wanted to press charges. The message didnt get to the Officer.Days Later after the police told me to go to civil court, I agreed i would take a check & go to court, but As a Victim of Violence I refused to go to his shop.My friend went in my place. I was on the phone &called police because Ron was trying to intimidate him. I ended up going there so my friend didnt get hurt. Ron has since threatened me about my Review & my friend with his Affiliations My ABUSER also made it clear that I was a set up by him & Ron & Ron gave him some of my property.Abuser gone over 1YR! I have all recordings, texts & Pics PROOF. THEIF, LIAR, DISPICABLE!!
Awesome place with awesome people.
Randy knows his stuff about bikes... very professional an quick!!
The lowered my seat on my 1980 750(my first bike) my feet was still doing the mexican cha cha so they lowered my back shocks and...YEAHHH BUDDY!! Im rolling.. My battery needed replacing but Ron got my battery right in. I must say even after miscommunication Ron will make things right by any means sooo.. Ill be back to get my ferring taken off, my oil leak sealed and my carbs cleaned after riding season.. Thanks Guys!!!
Great place to go. I would rather give my money to a local company than ebay (although they ebay too). Almost always have what I need in stock new or used. I have had them install tires and all of my bikes a 73 350 honda and 84 suzuki gs650 and my 93 Honda Shadow. both tires were good recommendations and still are on to this day. have the best USED parts available and there isnt any shipping charges.** Update 2015- Go to MCS regularly, they are the only place that have my parts available for my old honda. they just did my front forks seals. I couldnt be happier. They are up front about costs and always follow through with what they tell you they will do. Not sure about the other reviews on here with bad reviews. Its hard to find a place you want to go to with honest people you want to ride with as well.
Bad experience. They do not know how to fix things.
Scratched rims on 2 bikes installing tires. Extremely poor customer service.
Good parts new and used
The staff was very friendly and got everything I needed right away (:
Friendly staff, hard to find parts without the wait for shipping.
Female friendly, honest, and affordable
It was good
Thanks Ron.
Bad experience
