Great reviews: The coffee not so good. This was my third time coming in hoping for a better cup of coffee. Each time the coffee wasnt hot, even though it was freshly brewed. The flavor was good but was not strong at all,and tasted watered down. Great atmosphere, service etc... I havent tried any espresso or speciality drinks. Maybe its just me🤷‍♂️

Best coffee in Milwaukee! So many different styles from all around the world, this coffee will sure bring a smile to your face. I drink my coffee black because great coffee doesnt need to be masked by other flavorings. My Valentine personal favorites are Brazil and the Bearing Sea.Cool location, friendly staff, and great aroma. I would also go try the Oak Creek location. They have a really cool bar, floor to ceiling windows, and a loft area to enjoy some coffee and food. You will not be disappointed.

We love Valentine and always get the 2 pound bag of whole beans. Their coffee beans are so fresh and delicious, we love the Bering sea blend!

I love their coffee; it’s the best I’ve had in Milwaukee. I also love coffee enough that in order to drink more of it, I’ve switched to drinking decaf. And Valentine’s Mayan Decaf is the best decaf I’ve ever had. No chemicals used in the decaf process.2 lbs for $22 is a good deal for the best decaf I’ve ever had.

Milwaukee has an amazing coffee culture. There are a handful of God-tier coffee places in town and Valentine is one of them. The staff are incredibly kind. I can’t wait for the West Allis location to open up.

Wow I loved this place! I thought my latte was perfect and I ended up buying more than I thought I was going to including some treats and a cute sticker! I can’t wait to go back!

Delicious coffee, good people and great ambience. My boyfriend and I both ordered the latte and when I tried mine I said “it’s too milky” so we traded. He noticed a difference that one was too milky while the other was perfect. We still enjoyed the drinks though, and I had a nice all day buzz from the espresso.

We checked out Google maps for coffee shops in our area we were visiting and Valentines Coffee pooped up. So glad we stopped in for a coffee and a pastry. This is definitely a must stop to visit for a fabulous coffee our pantry.

Been here a few times. Always friendly service. Nice modern space with lots of light. Had a tasty almond horn on one visit. But in the end, always a delicious beverage. Lattes, iced tea, and right now this cold brew is giving me life.

Some of the best locally roasted coffee around. Valentine roasts in house for sale in bags and prepared drinks. The staff are great, follow COVID protocol really well and make it easy to feel safe when youre at the store with contactless checkout and handoffs of goods. They partner with other local groups too for delicious teas, baked goods, and discounts when for riding your bike.

Valentine is a true gem. As a coffee roaster they focus on what they do best - coffee. There is a small selection of food (which is always great!) but the coffee is where they shine. I order a cortado almost every time Im in and their always nail it. Definitely should not be missed.

I love the coffee but I haven’t been going as much because Valentine isn’t doing pour overs right now or at least that’s what they’ve been telling me. I guess I’ll just have to keep going else where until they bring back those killer pour overs!

I asked for a french roast decaf. I was informed that all they have is a medium-bodied roast so I was initially disappointed. But then one of the kind staffers asked if I had ever tasted their decaf and I decided to give it a try. I was very happy with it and enjoyed the conversation as well. Local, friendly, delicious!

Absolutely Blown away at the vast choices and top notch quality of coffee here. They have 10+ choices for black coffee’s (my favorite) from around the world. You only get maybe 2 choices with the “other guys”. My friend got a specialty coffee and it was a work of art! Taste was on point it is easy to tell their commitment to quality is important after your first sip. They have quality materials in their swag too! There are even coffee flavored beers in there too!!! I can’t wait to come back and taste the entire black coffee list.

I am an out of town visitor and stopped by this Cafe for a quick beverage. The atmosphere was pretty typical for a coffee shop, maybe slightly fancier than average. It seemed fairly popular for a Saturday morning, but not crowded.I normally dont go for sweet beverages, but I decided try a 16 oz. vanilla bean latte with an extra shot. I was very pleasantly surprised. The beverage was not overpoweringly sweet and had a nice, smooth flavor. At other Cafes, this type of beverage would traditionally be a sugar bomb topped with whipped cream.I also ordered a muffin-like pastry with berries and frosting. The flavor wasnt particularly remarkable (met expectations), but was more buttery than expected. The outside had a slightly greasy feel. Im not a huge fan of butter, but it didnt really bother me enough to not finish it.Service was adequate considering the customer load.Overall, I would highly recommend visiting this coffee shop!

This is my favorite cold brew in Milwaukee. For sure. Its such a rich tasting cold brew. (Their other coffees are great too! This is just a standout for me.)I wish they had a storefront location in Milwaukee proper, but Wauwatosa isnt a far drive. Plus -- a good amount of places in the city do serve Valentine coffee, which is great!

The Valentine staff is so friendly and welcoming. They really make it a great experience and of course the amazing coffee adds to that. They use the good oat milk and Im obsessed!

I was visiting Milwaukee this weekend. I was asking around for coffee shops and I kept getting recommendations of places that seemed like franchises to me. Personally I am not a a fan of corporate coffee shops. They lose their character and quality.Valentines though is pretty freaking awesome. When I walked in and saw their display of all of their product and started reading the bean descriptions I got excited. Over the top when I bought two bags and received a complimentary pour- over! The Papa New Guinea and the Ethiopian are both delicious and the undertones are clear.The customer service was phenomenal as well. The gentleman at the counter was helpful and positive. Ever started talking about coffee and Ann Arbor, MI which is where I am from.From the moment I walked in until I left the parking lot I felt welcomed home. I would gladly recommend this shop to any fellow travelers, and I might even order some beans online!Thanks Valentines for being A+++!

The staff is incredibly engaging and kind!! Always a pleasant experience. Early on I became an ice coffee drinker because other companies serve it so hot it burns my mouth or you have to wait an eternity for it to cool off. However, Valentines actually serves hot coffee at the PERFECT temperature. Still a cold brew fan but glad to see coffee done right. Keep it up 👍

They take coffee seriously here. Milwaukee roaster headquarters. No mass brewed coffee. Want a cup, it is handed poured only. And the coffee was great. On street parking. Clearly a local hangout. Small but well appointed interior. Great selection of beans.

I visit Valentine at least once a week and always happy with my visit. You have to be patient when theyre busy in the mornings when they are doing a fresh pour over. They always accommodate any questions and always deliver with the best coffee in Milwaukee!

Im addicted to their cold brew! Consistently fresh and perfectly roasted, you can tell they really care about the quality that coffee should be. I had a delicious cup of Guatemala pour over coffee. The tasting room is elegant, yet sleek and modern.

Coffee is always great. Whether they are making it for you or you take some beans home. Im never disappointed. The staff is always in a great mood and willing to help. Easily walkable and makes a great stop anytime you are in the Wauwatosa or Washington Heights area.

Quite possibly my first time at Valentine Coffee, Im not sure. What I am sure of is the awesome service and atmosphere we experienced at this location. The 3 baristas were all super friendly and fun. Our visit was during a slow time of day and my wife and I chose our beverages based on the staffs recommendations. I had a Peruvian coffee and my wife has a blueberry decaffeinated tea. Both were delicious. We watched some World Cup on their TV and enjoyed the vibe. Id go back if it wasnt so far from home.

I take my walk down to Valentine Coffee once a week to get my iced coffee, very nice people there all the time. But I enjoy Valentine Coffee the best at Tosa Market in the summer very friendly people all the time plus the owner is an outstanding person. Miss see him on Saturday we would talk about the Brewers all the time. But Good Luck to him.
