Im a guy who doesnt put that much time and effort necessarily into my hair and things of that sort...🤷🏾‍♂️But I will say over the years Ive visited this establishment for myself and my then girlfriend, and even more so for my children...and was always pleased at not only their variety, but the owners willingness to help. Hell...🤔 Even the security guard on duty has always been a great help... Now that I think about it.Last but not least I never felt that their prices were inflated like some other stores I have been to...If they could only franchise this place I think there would be a lot of Happy shoppers who cater to this type of business... Keep up the good work guys.

The store was organized and a staff member asked if I needed help and helped me find what I was looking for.

Prices are affordable but it sad that they place themselves in a urban neighborhood, take our business and still profile us. Yes, you may have people that try to get over every now and then but to treat all of us like crooks is unacceptable.The last time I came to this location I noticed that I was charged for two extra items that I did not purchase, or take, and certainly did NOT have. The cashier saw me use a lipgloss that I had just purchased from there days ago IN BULK. She assumed I was stealing and charged me and when confronted had no answer.Today I was treated like I was trying to get over on them for not having a pin set up on my debit card. Which has been used with no pin multiple times and did not require and ID because it’s a DEBIT card. Not to mention all the other sour experiences I’ve had.I travel 30 minutes to come to this location every blue moon because the beauty supplies on my side of town don’t have the right products for my hair type, BUT after today I’m considering just ordering all of my stuff online from a BLACK owned company. I’m done giving my money to ppl who treat me like a nuisance.

My sister and I had gone to Value Beauty to buy some bobby pins with flower and rhinestones. They didnt have them.

They have a good selection vs other stores in the city but the person who works behind the wig counter is extremely rude. She acts like you’re ruining her day or something by asking a question or trying to purchase a wig. Won’t be back. It wasn’t always this way. When I lived in the area last year it was way better not sure what happened to the older guy who used to work behind the counter. He was nice and helpful.

Value beauty has everything, wig, clothes, beauty supplies for what you need,shampoos, conditioning,,color for your hair..

This is a good beauty supply store. Its clean and organized on the inside and the staff is friendly and helpful. After the shutdown when they were allowed to open back up, I noticed the prices we higher than before. I could go to Walmart and get SOME of the same products at a more adorable price.

The prices after the shutdown had went completely up. Sone of the items you can find at Walmart for several dollars cheaper. Its clean on the inside and you can get help when you need it. I like that they have little hand baskets to use which is nice

Everything is easily located, clean and well arranged shelves. The staff are easy going, they dont appear too friendly neither do they appear mean or arrogant, but they are really helpful.

They have every kind of hair product you can imagine here - its truly a superstore in that regard, but what they dont have an abundance of is customer service. I encountered one friendly young lady and that was it. In a store that size, the number of customers and the amount of money theyre making - they should have a minimum of three customer service people at all times. It wouldnt hurt them to have additional people at the registers, either. This would be a 5 star review, but Ive deducted two stars for the lack of customer service.

Great place,friendly workers and affordable prices! I bought my bleach cream here for a buck something! Earrings in da cases are stunning and didnt turn my skin green nor infection on my ears! Beautiful stuff there for any type of beauty you think of! The clothing is a bit expensive!

Terrible management and customer service. As someone who works in management and customer service myself, i would never talk to customers the way this incompetent condescending manager along with his staff does. This place is the rudest establishment ever. Ive given them so much of my money yet whenever it comes time to attempt to return an item, even with a receipt, even if its never been used, they give you the biggest hassle ever and try to make you look foolish- in case you arrogant people didnt know, if you have a receipt and an unused item you are entitled to your money back! At one point i asked the manager if retaining 20 dollars by not allowing me to complete a valid return, receipt and all, was worth losing a customer who has spent close to a 1000 dollars in the past year, to which he gave a snide and unprofessional response. Its not about the money, its about a total disregard for finding a resolution for their loyal customers, and the crass way they treat you speaks volumes. I am personally offended and dissapointed that I funneled so much money into such a tacky establishment. They have lost a loyal customer in me. This is the kind of establishment that wants to excitedly take your money each and every time then turn around and demean you as a customer by questioning your integrity and talking down to you when it suits them. They need a lesson in customer service and customer retention because I was once an avid shopper there, along with a lot of my friends. And we will all be taking our business elsewhere. Trashy inexcusable way to treat people that put money in your pocket and keep you in business.

This place is huge!!!!!! First time coming here. My main reason of coming here is to find plastic wig stands. After doing some shopping around, I asked the lady at customer service where it could be located. She was very nice to me and asked on her walkie because she didnt want you to walk all over through the store to find the product. Helpful and thoughtful. The gentleman in one of the aisles told me where to go as well. Totally coming back!!!
