I love this store! I just so happened to stop in on my way home and was surprised at how much this store had. They have EVERYTHING! This is now probably my favorite beauty supply store in Milwaukee.

They had beautiful head scarfs. Im coming back to buy some more. They had cute t shirts. I saw one that said black queen.

Big selection but kind of disorganized. Oftentimes the staff kayaking follows you. I like the product and the variety but something about being obviously followed makes it hardly worth the trip

I love this beauty store its the best one in Milwaukee they keep up with all the latest trends there are plenty of people to help you with your needs.

This place has gotten better, and I am glad they have hired more ppl of color. Their attitudes are more pleasant, and they stock better items for natural hair

I like A1 beauty it has outfits and hair stuff and when you walk in they have a person to welcome you and when you live they say have a nice day

The people stocking the products are really nice and helpful. A1 Beauty is a good place however, the owners dont smile and they act like we should be grateful to be in their store.

From the time I walk in, get my items someone is at end of aisle watching me. Where ever i go, in the store or in line. im being watch, other customers are to very HARD. It makes the customers feel very uncomfortable, just set up cameras in the store. Im going to try other beauty supplies stores.

I choose certain products but Wal-Mart always has what I need & want

Customer service was over the top. I wasnt sure what to expect but it was all good. Lots of products you just dont find at big box retailers. These folks are friendly and accommodating. Handicap accessible although some of the aisles might be to tight for a w/c. You would need another set of hands or ask for help at the counter as they are glad to assist.

Oh yes, A1 has these cute jogging pants that fit like a glove and are long and bootlegged. Love them. A1 also has a good variety of hair care products and oils. My favorite place to shop for hair supplies and knick knacks.

This store needs to put a sign at the front door of “You break, You buy.” So it’s made clear when a customer enters. No one should have to buy something they had no clue broke or knocked over and there’s no sign at the door stating this.It’s not a difficult concept. People are going to be more likely to be careful not to knock things over if the sign is at the door stating this before entering.

Higher prices, some of the staff was very friendly, huge variety of beauty supplies.

Customer service is great, except for the part where they follow you around and I have to admit it is a little awkward. But I am not so worried about that because other people made it bad for the good customers. But the store is very clean but some of the wigs are too high. I also had a issue with my chocolate remy hair and the man was like we order it from somewhere else you have to contact the I had deep wave it did not wave at all. He never said I would give you 40 percent off on your next purchase or anything and I think that was bogus his persona just that it that.

This is an awesome store. Like literally one stop shop! They have everything you need and good quality hair, lashes, nail supplies, ect. Im a Cosmetologist, a very picky, detailed one at that. I normally dont comment on much but I must give credit where its due. Amazing store, very nice workers, and most importantly, GREAT QUALITY!💖💖💖🎉🎉🎉👍👍👍

My first visit saw diversity in staffing which was a first, normally it is extreme nepotism.The owner was extremely polite but these raised platforms behind the register to watch patrons, the employee who just happens to find the need to leave his post to come across to the store to observe you shopping,the photos of thieves posted at the exit is getting old.What is this culture doing to obtain funds and backing to sell in predominantly black areas when those living those areas cant do the same!When this wave started years ago many African Americans were told cosmetology licenses were needed to meet the criteria to open these establishments.When did the rules change? How did this culture monopolize the hair and nail business in less than one generation in Milwaukee?

Courteous, Friendly, Knowledgeable, Helpful, Strong Customer skills and everything I look for in a good shopping experience.

I was very skeptical going into this place due to the reviews which claimed they were racist, I didnt experience any of that. I was checked out in a nice respectable manner, I wasnt followed around and this place definitely has a very large selection of hair care products to fit your needs.

It was okay, didnt have the product I wanted.

I walked out of this store a week ago because of bad customer service. There’s no way I’d advice any of my sisters or brothers to buy anything from them. And if they decide to change their name or move I still would never ever step foot in that store. I’m warning everyone take your business where it’s appreciated.

I visited this store with my mother recently to purchase her a wig and to see if I could find some of the natural hair products, I decided, I wanted to test. The wigs here worth any real interest, were seriously overpriced. Also, I could not find 90% of what I needed. I mean, I found a few things I wanted but overall it wasnt a horrible experience, more disapointing.
