FPG has an amazing selection of doors and construction materials at very reasonable prices. Over the course of several years, we have purchased everything from doors (pics attached), wood fencing, construction materials to outdoor flooring (TREX) for many of our homes. We have been very pleased with their quality and outstanding service.And speaking of service, wed highly recommend dealing directly with Karen Andino. Karen is very knowledgeable on all products. She communicates clearly, is on top of all the details and goes above and beyond to make us happy. She also does everything in her power to get us the best price possible.The manager Pedro Cofino is also terrific and willing to listen and help out. He has been at the helm of the store for a few decades and its one of the reasons for the continued success of the store.We highly recommend FPG!

Be very careful buying from this place. They gave me a partial delivery. The driver showed me the receipt, which everything is described in codes. He supposedly explained what was delivered and what was on back order. He had me sign for the partial delivery. Months go buy and no one contacted me. After not having my phone messages returned, I went to the warehouse. They then gave me some of the missing items. Then told me that my total order at that point was completed. I explained that my closet doors were missing. They said nope, it was delivered by the driver. I explained that it wasn’t. They said well you signed for that delivery and it was on the receipt. I explained that the items on th receipt is all in codes and the driver explained that the closet doors would come later. The warehouse manager said, you signed for it we’re done. I requested to speak to the owner. Which did respond. Only to state that the doors were delivered according to the receipt, so he wasn’t going to give me anything else. The most he could do is sell me another set of doors.Very shady and unprofessional organization

Very happy! I ordered a door + hardware which Karen Andino who assisted through every step of the way. Lovely person! The door was a special order so it was predicted to take up to 6 weeks… long story short, received everything as predicted, arranged for delivery and I made my own arrangements for installation. I love my front door, referred several people who’ve had good experiences and I’ve finally gotten around to posting a review. Karen was helpful, called and emailed when she said she would and returned my calls. Thank you Karen and thank you FPG!

Very disappointed! I purchased a door on Monday which I was told was in stock, but when my handyman went by today to pick it up he was told they didnt have the door, and we would need to wait until they arrive second week of November. The nice sales lady who sold me the door had called the warehouse in front of me and they had said it was in stock, but she told me this morning they have no way to reserve them and if someone came and wanted the same door they would have taken it. Then upon calling the warehouse she was told the door had a reservation paper on it and someone must have just removed it and sold the door. I am sorry but this is not the way to do business, especially when we are dealing with a shortage of service people these days. My poor handyman who drove from Miami Shores wasted his gas and time, and a day of work. The purchase process, however, was very smooth and efficient.There was hardly any wait and the staff was very nice and friendly.

Only convenient for contractors or builders. You will have to pick up a number and wait for a person a the counter. No salesperson available to help on the floor.No wonder Home Depot is killing all the rest of the stores.My avise to the person that replied to my comment: You have plenty of space, make a dedicated room for ready to pick up items and have more people helping on the floor.

Great selection of doors and hardware. When you walk in you have to take a number and wait your turn. Once its your turn, they do not make you feel rushed. The representative took his time with us and answered all the questions we had.

If i could rate my experience a zero i would. Jusr beganning with a phone call, the lack of customer service or plain phone etiquette was horrible. I dont take pleasure in making companies look bad but the lack of servicethat i recently experienced i cannot overlook or ignore. I recently called the company to inquire about a door for my building and they took forever to pickup and then when they finally did, they heard what I needed and proceeded to place me on hold. 10 mins later,they picked up and didnt let me finish my question when they again placed me on hold. 3 mins later they picked up and hung up. I called back and it just rang and placed me on hold again, they picked up again, heard my voice and hung up. They continued to do this for atleast 30 minutes. The reason why it bothers me the most is that I was doing this favor for my elderly neighbor. It upset me that I couldnt or wasnt allowed to help her because of this commpanys lack professionalism.

Horrible experience . I made an order in May 13. The door was already in stock but not the frame . Javier told me it was gonna take a week . The order was paid in full. It’s gonna be a month and the door is not ready . Javier has never returned my call. Today I called and asked to talk to a supervisor and of course the person I think named Andres didn’t answer the phone either . Do not go to this place

My experience at FPG was great. I noticed that they have a great system to help the customers, so I didn’t have to wait long. Also, the service was excellent. Karen helped me to pick my doors and locks, and she was so nice and helpful. She has great energy and she is respectful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The place was cleaned and organized and the prices were fair.

This place was recommended to us by afriend. The showroom had a good variety of doors and hardware.We were greeted by a sales representative, very knowledgeable and professional. We picked the door and the baseboards but we had to call him back to confirm the door measurements. It was impossible to get in touch with him, call him several times, left a few messages he never call back. The lady answering the phone was EXTREMELY rude and lack of manors. Its sad that that a good buying experience goes to the garbage for lack of customer service.

This is the WORST PLACE IN MIAMI!!!! The customer service is horrendous to say the least. Special orderd a door, took two weeks and got it wrong. Terrible customer service. Don’t come here if you are not a contractor or know everything in the world about doors. They are the only door specialist company that does not help their clients. When they are wrong about the order and you did not notice because you are not a door specialist on the invoice they will not fix it for you. Even if you sent them the door schedule. Biggest waist of money was buying doors from them. The owner and all of the staff is also very rude.

Worst customer service in Miami. The girls are rude, do not answer questions, put you on hold without saying anything just to get you out of the way. In the store, people are not using facemaks correctly putting in danger everyone. This is a good company with good products but terrible customer service.

HORRIBLE SERVICE OVER THE PHONE.. If you need to get something done you HAVE to go in person. Everytime you need to speak to someone or ask for something simple like a price on their lever handles - Call back in 1 1/2 hr. Theyre out to lunch and no one can help you at the moment. Hard to believe they let a WHOLE dept leave to lunch at the same time!

I am a licensed carpentry contractor with 33 years in the business. I only went to FPG because my client liked the design on the doors he bought, however I took my own measurements on the door openings and told the salesman the overall measurements the doors needed to be but to no avail, the doors were still 6 8 so I had to cut them myself in a balcony no bigger than 4 wide by 10 long which is what I was trying to avoid from the beginning, the door stops looked like they were nailed by a 10 yr old and with no more than 10psi on the compressor where they all show, two doors have gashes which couldnt have been seen at time of delivery because the jamb was covering them, one door is missing the strike mortise: I hope this can help the owners better their business, if not, this has been a lesson for me and for my future clients about where to go for their next order.

As I walked in there were two girls behind a desk...I spoke to one girl started to explain what I needed and she, without a word pointed me to a row of chairs where everyone was waiting... I waited an hour, no one asked if they could help me...finally a young salesman who seemed to be bored led me around, no suggestions, answered my questions if I asked, period....There is NO WAY I am spending over 6 thousand dollars at this place....This is now, imagine if I have a problem ....If you want service this is not your place!

In the middle of the covid-19 pandemic employees weren’t wearing their masks properly. I saw 3 of them with masks covering their mouths only or their chins. Same with a few people visiting the store.

Horrible customer service, they close at 4 but I bought being inside store at 405 I went to the back to pick up an item that was sold to me... they didn’t have the item and gave me attitude and told me too bad and closed their doors because I’m assuming they didn’t want to wait and do there job.... never again buying from them

My experience was very pleasant. Alain was our sales person, waiting time was about 15-20min. Prices are bit under home depot. I initially saw other reviews and was Lil scare, but no wven close to horrible comments from other users. Go with Alain, he is very courteous

Horrible customer service! I recently went to FPG to obtain a quote for a door and I had to wait for over one hour to speak to a salesperson. FPG has beautiful doors and mechanism, but its not worth the aggravation of having to wait for so long to speak to someone for something as simple as a quote.

Like so many other family businesses, they make good money and at some point they stop caring because the are not interested in expanding and the business suffers. The wait times are unacceptable and as you can see from the reviews it has been going on for years and they have not resolved the problem.

This is the worst sales and costumer service you have ever seen. It offers probably a very good price but I would rather pay a bit more expensive to have a good service and a pleasant experience! The sales guy Danny was so negative in his replies and not helpfully at all plus he acted like a total jerk probably because I am a woman and he consider that my questions stupids? I will clearly never buy anything in this store again!
