I highly recommend the passion fruit bonbon chocolate if they have it when you are there. Visually stunning, delicious gourmet chocolate at a very reasonable price. The chocolatier waited on me themself and was very pleasant and wonderful to chat with. I will definitely go out of my way to come back here if ever near Miami.

Ordered a gift box for my husband’s birthday. Glad to say the package arrived intact and safely to Hawaii. Everything was delicious! But our favorite has got to be the peanut butter cups. Would love to visit the store sometime in the future to try more of their products.

Ordered a box of truffles and bonbons, plus a chocolate bar and they were all by far, the best chocolates I have ever had in my life. I will never go back to store bought chocolate (Hersheys, Nestle, etc.) The sugar level is low but perfectly sweet, not overly sweet as with most chocolates. This helps the cacao flavor to really shine and adds yet another level of indulgence.I cannot say enough good things about this company.If you havent tried them out, give them a chance.

I was disappointed especially the caramels. They were gritty and bitter. Guess my taste buds are more into creamy caramel.

Delicious dark chocolate. The place smells amazing. They have chocolate from diferent countries too.I bought this it was delicious. The potato chips and chocolate mixture was on point. I also got brownies. They where really tiny. They didnt taste like brownies more like candy but good.The chocolate here has a really interesting good flavor. I must say.So first impression of the place not good. It looks like a crowded warehouse. It does not look like a chocolate shop, not pretty.You have order ahead. The place is not open to the public. They have a big sign that says open but not really. You can pick the item at the door like i did. It was weird. I advised not to pickup have it delivered.

I was truly looking forward to my order. After watching the video and the process in which its made. Reviews were great as welI. Im extremely disappointed, worst chocolate Ive ever had. Money down the toilet because these will not get eaten nor do I have anyone that will eat these. Shouldve only bought one instead of five pack bundle. Lesson learned.

This by far is some of the best chocolate I have ever had...and Im a chocoholic. The texture is silky-smooth and its not overly sweet. The subtle notes in the chocolate are allowed to shine. These chocolate bars are definitely worth their price!

Walking down the street in the typical Miami heat, looking for something. I wasnt sure what that something was until I happened upon this shop. I opened the door to the delightful smell of chocolate. It was like I was a kid (...okay, maybe a little older) in a candy shop. Chocolate was everywhere and it all looked amazing. Carolina (the owner) was extremely warm and welcoming, also a fantastic help with choosing the right taste I was looking for. So many different options!!! All reasonably priced for the care that is obvious in the preparation of these delicate and delicious treats. You can literally see how they prepare the chocolate as there is a huge glass wall allowing you to see all the machines. I went home with more than I should have and thankfully when I return home I found out I can always restock online! What a wonderful way to end a vacation!

Exquisite! Ordered it online and never expected to fall in love with chocolates all over again. I love that the sweetness is minimal where you can taste the coca with different taste notes, this is probably how chocolate is supposed to taste. These days chocolates are overpowered with sweetness where the taste of coca vanishes. I would recommend it for anyone who does not think that the “gold standards” of chocolates is a available while you are filling up gas or at your local grocery store.

Underwhelming experience.I read about this place and it appealed to me because of the way they source their cacao and the care they put into each bar. As appealing as the story was, my experience during my visit left me wanting more.The product undoubtedly speaks for itself; they make great chocolate bars. Unfortunately, after asking a few questions, it was clear the cashier was not engaged. The front room was storing cacao beans so there wasnt any room to walk around and view their operation.I got more out of the website than I did from making the trek to the shop.Maybe Ill try again next time Im in Miami.

Great chocolate! Apparently it is imported from Latin America and elsewhere, and with how the chocolate tastes I believe it. Also had a pleasant conversation with an employee, but remember one thing. The beans are tired and sleeping, please dont wake them up!

I had heard of this place through word of mouth and various social media posts so I decided to come buy some chocolates for Valentine’s Day. I was not disappointed! It was some of the best truffles I’ve EVER had and I love how creative the names are! My favorite was probably the Miami Vice (cafe con leche with dulce de leche). The flavor was very distinct and I just love how it melts in your mouth. I’m definitely coming back for one of their tastings where you can bring your own wine.

Unfortunately OverhypedThe service is great and everyone is friendly. I am solely speaking about the chocolate. There is hardly any taste. The prices are exorbitantly high. I wouldn’t mind paying that much if the chocolate tasted good. I was really let down. Not everything was available when I went, so maybe this review is premature. However, I sampled at least five different varieties of their chocolate. Their dark chocolate was not bitter, so I will give them that. Although, that alone does not justify the trip. The presentation of each chocolate bonbon was beautiful. I wish the taste reflected that.

This is what real quality chocolate is supposed to taste like. If you are used to the stuff that taste like wax (nestle, hershy, etc) this might take some getting use to, but savor the quality of the different flavors. Its like tasting wine or coffee. Every chocolate has a different depth. It also cost more because they are getting it from farmers who are getting paid appropriately for their chocolate vs the big chocolate companies ruining rain forests to produce cheap chocolate. Its worth the extra $$! Highly recommended!!

I just ordered some chocolate for some friends. Havent tried the products yet but the customer service is great. Also did some research and couldnt find any other companies that dont use soy or sorbitol. Even searched companies in France and Switzerland with prices 4 and 5 times higher.Once I get feedback from my friends Ill update my review. Im really happy this product is here. Dont forget it is also very responsible to the workers on the sourcing end of the equation. I like the idea of people benefiting from their hard work.

Ordered these online after finding them on Instagram! Love how they make their chocolate and how they are ethically sourced. I tried a couple of their bars, and the cafe con leche bar was my favorite! It is the perfect balance of coffee and chocolate and not very sweet! Also, I put some in my hot milk and it made the best hot cocoa!! Highly recommend, they also shipped super fast and nicely packaged.

After viewing a video featuring Exquisito Chocolates on YouTube, I ordered the 55% Tumaco, Columbia Caramelized Milk & Brown Butter Chocolate Bar to be shipped to my residence in Illinois. Unfortunately, the package was stolen before I could pick it up. However, Carolina at Exquisito resent a new package to me free of charge which was above and beyond my expectations especially considering the current difficult economic times. And, the chocolate was smooth, creamy and delicious! I am am extremely satisfied customer and will tell my family and friends about Exquisito Chocolates!

Had the chocolates shipped and they were amazing! There are probably better tasting chocolates out there for cheaper, but the simple ingredients, how they source their beans, the details that go into making them, you can really taste the difference from other chocolates and its worth it.

We had some bars and truffles shipped to Minnesota, the whole family enjoyed them. The hatian bar was my favorite, the flavor had many layers of chocolately goodness.

I was not sure what I was getting into with chocolates that exhibit ‘terroir’. I know the term as it applies to wine. I’m speaking of the single plantation chocolates of course. I’ve had the best that France and Belgium have to offer - and they are excellent. However what you will not get is the sense of place these chocolates provide.Kudos!Try the white chocolate too. It is a real treat!

This is by far my favorite chocolate in Miami! Ive had it twice now, different pieces of chocolate, and every flavor was exquisite! So creamy. Not to sweet. The guava...so good! I think the prices are fair. The chocolate is direct trade so they pay a good price where the farmer ACTUALLY makes money for selling the cacao. Ill be visiting their shop soon for more chocolate!

We came to the Free Friday Tours and loved it! The place is very nice and inviting and I love how everything is very conscious of sustainability! The tour was great, and very informative. And the chocolate at the end was amazing! 10/10!

This is definitely one of the hidden gems of Little Havana. The chocolate making tours here were very fun and educational. Our tour guide JJ (Juan) was very cool and informative and the tour included a fair amount of chocolate as well. They also sold a lot of types of chocolate and truffles in many flavors that were all imported from South America. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

This tour was the antethesis of a factory tour at Hershey or other major manufacturer and for that we are grateful. This small factory is passionate about their process and products, genuinely interested in informing and educating and really took the time to engage and explain to the folks on the tour. Everything I’ve tried has being amazing! My favorite so far is their take on a Twix bar... it is so delicious and indulgent, you will never want a plain old Twix bar again!

Not only are the chocolates delicious but they are beautiful works of art. If you are from the Miami area or will be there on vacation I recommend putting it on your must-do list. My husband and I received a factory tour as a Christmas gift. I loved the experience! The owner was so informative and passionate about her product, which is probably the best chocolate Ive ever had. Her creations are beautiful and delicious. A must visit for locals and visitors alike!

Places my order on June 29th, received my chocolate on July 6th. USPS placed it in a mail deposit box in 102 weather and one bar did melt alittle. I bought the Cookies & Cream White Chocolate w/ Oreos (yay), Gettin Nibby with it (Nay), Almond gosh(Nay), Tumaco (Nay), and The Peanut Gallery (Nay). This chocolate isn’t for me shockingly however I think people should still try it. It was too bitter for my taste. I gave 2 stars because I did not like the chocolate besides the cookies and cream however I think everyone else should give them a try.

Extremely friendly and helpful, very unique place in East Little Havana, small and no parking so you have to park around the corner and walk.... everything is made in store, very good selection and good prices, definitely worth the trip.

Carolina, Krystelle and Laura have all been so sweet and amazing to work with. Their chocolates are so delicious and they taste even better knowing that the owner, Carolina, takes the time to travel to each country where the cacao is grown so that she can really know where the product is coming from and that it is the highest quality!

Carolina, the owner, gave us the tour, which really exceeded my expectations. I learned how Exquisito chocolates is the first bean to bar chocolate factory in Miami, how they work with select farms in South America to ensure that money goes directly to these farms and that there is no exploitation. Carolina has visited these farms many times herself. We learned the process of chocolate making and how by-products get re-used and sold to different clients to ensure that nothing is wasted. Their chocolate and chocolate by-products are sold to various local businesses like Azucar and Salty Donut. Carolina is so passionate and was eager to answer all of our questions. We got to try many different types of chocolates, which were all delicious! The tour was really informative and suitable for kids, chocolate lovers and non chocolate lovers. I was really really impressed and I encourage everyone to stop by Exquisito Chocolates to support this local business, which makes exceptional chocolate!

Discovered this place via a booth at Fairchild Tropical Gardens chocolate festival a few months ago. The woman at the booth let us know they have chocolate tours that you can take and make your own chocolate at the end. It was a fun date night. The guide, JJ, was personable and fun. After going through the process of how they make the chocolate, you make three of your own ganache balls and decorate three pre-made truffles to take home. Their chocolate is high quality, single origin, and delicious.

I’m in heaven! Just discovered the only chocolate factory in Miami...and it is every chocoholics dream! So many choices …my favorites are the café con leche and Grand Marnier truffles…but happily I don’t have to choose. So delish! And nothing compares to seeing the entire chocolate-making process in action. Also, the owner is so passionate about her product…I know that I’m getting the best. This chocolate gem is definitely going on my list of guilty pleasures.

Right on the corner of Calle Ocho and 27 Avenue is one of my new favorite spots in Miami. Exquisito Chocolates is not just a super trendy spot to fill your Instagram feed. The owner makes your visit an educational experience. For example, I didnt know that even though everyone raves about Swiss chocolate, no cacao is grown in that country. They are mostly famous because of their technique. #themoreyouknowAnyhow, Carolina Quijano has no qualms inviting you into her production process and showing you every step involved in turning cacao beans into chocolate bars, haute cocao spoons, and OMG the truffles. I could sit here for days writing about her truffles, they are that good!My favorite are her signature Miami Vice which is filled with Café con Leche and Dulce de Leche. And for those who find Exquisito during your Miami vacation, they ship nationwide.My ultimate recommendations would be to bring your appetite and your best friend. The tastes and memories you will take home will be completely worth it!

Worth it, a million times over.I bought some bars, hoping for a good chocolate. But what a beauty! My mother is from Colombia, so I bought her the Tumaco bar, and for my little brother the Cookie Crisp white bar. We loved them, it really is the best chocolate I have ever had. And before trying Exquisito I couldnt stand chocolate with more than 60% cocoa. It is now one of my favorites. Thanks to Exquisito Chocolates, for making delicious chocolate, made in a sustainable and fair way.
