What a beautiful cat cafe!! 10/10 experience. Staff were so friendly and helpful. You can tell they really care about the cats. The cafe is beautiful. So clean and well kept for housing 20 cats!!I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone who enjoys cats. The cost of entry covers the cost to house and feed these cats. Visit this place!!
Unfortunately, I didn’t even get to visit with the cats. After standing outside in the rain waiting for the shop to open (it opened late as well) and making eye contact with the woman who opened up the shop multiple times, 3 women cut in front of us. The staff member let the 3 unmasked women in before us and told us we’d need to come back later. While the limited capacity is very understandable due to Covid and the safety of the cats, it was the customer service that I’m giving 1 star to. The cats looked very cute from outside however, I’m sure if you make it into the shop you’ll have a pleasant experience.
This was a great surprise as I was rollerblading along Collins Ave. It was closed that day (Tuesdays) but I made sure to return another day. This is the most adorable cat cafe I’ve been to from the many cozy, colorful props and furniture to the soft background music - it’s a cat/cat lover’s sanctuary! The cats range from super playful to extra relaxed. The owner and her colleague take great care to make sure their cats are healthy and safe (wear a mask bc cats can catch COVID too!)
Had the best experience ever here :) The two women we had the pleasure to meet who work there were the sweetest. You can tell that all the cats here taken very good care of. Ive never been to a cat cafe before, but I can tell you for sure that this wont be my last time.I booked a 2:00PM appointment for 50 minutes with my friend and I, and Im pretty sure they were nice enough to let us stay a little longer which was so gracious of them and it was well appreciated :) To be mindful of their health, we were asked to put on masks and booties because cats do get sick with a different form of COVID-19 which can be fatal to them. Also, just like when you have a pet kitty, you have to be mindful not to be too loud or aggressive to not scare them. With that, all protocols were followed and we had a very pleasant visit with all the cats.Blue Boy and Buddy Boy (they are brothers) as well as Pearline were my favorite kitties. My friends favorite was Yuki who actually went right on her lap when we first got into the room.
I needed a break from the heat and humidity and had the best hour-long visit with cats and kittens. What a great place to take a quiet, fun refuge! Gorgeous space and my visit included a balance of lap cats and playful ones. Swag and coffee as well here
Clean and kitties are well cared for! The decor and ambiance are really nice and the owners do an excellent job of making sure the cats are happy. Would totally visit again!
What a wonderful place. The owner was very kind and welcoming. We had a wonderful hour petting and playing with cats. What a great cause helping cats find homes. I highly recommend it!
A must for all cat lovers. I just stumbled upon this place and went inside. I spent 30 amazing minutes with friendly, relaxed cats who love getting attention and belly rubs. You could easily see they were loved and being well taken care of. The litter and food were in a different space, so there was no odor whatsoever, and the staff was super nice.
The cats were so cute and the staff was so friendly and nice. I highly recommend The Cat Cafe South Beach!!
This place was my favorite part of miami. The kitties are so sweet. Totally worth a stop by!
Thank you Celyta Jackson for all your help finding the perfect cat for us. A very professional environment, clean knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend this loving ❤ cat paradise. Natan and Nancy.
Visited the cat café a couple of weeks ago with my fiancé. We were visiting Florida on a vacation from Canada we missed our cats dearly found online about the cat café and decided to check it out. What a fantastic experience. The owner herself was extremely professional and friendly it was a very welcoming environment. The overall experience was fantastic I can say is it is a definite must go experience. A great place as well to adopt a new cat as well to welcome to your family. I strongly encourage all cat lovers out there to go and check out the place and see what great work is being done.
This place is heaven on earth for all cat lovers!! The cats were so friendly, cuddly, and playful. The staff is even kinder and passionate. I was in need of a mental health day and this was the perfect place to unwind and practice some mindfulness. I will be back for sure!
I had the great fortune of stumbling upon The Cat Cafe. I had been to many other cat cafes in other cities and had often felt disappointed. The Cat Cafe South Beach is unlike any of these experiences. The space is huge, both the cafe and the cat area. It is cleaner than almost any home I’ve ever been to with cats, there’s literally just the smell of fresh coffee. The coffee and treats at the cafe are good enough even if you don’t care to play with the cats, but why would you not?!The play area for the cats is adorably curated with toys and cat lounging, and has plenty of room for humans to sit.All of the cats are miraculously friendly and social with you. They are up for adoption and if I wasn’t jumping on a flight back to NYC I would have swiped this sweet orange baby. Amazing place, thank you for this experience!!
Travelling and miss your pet? Go here. A storefront on Washington Avenue near Espanola Way, there is a coffee bar on one side and a huge cat room on the other. You can make a small donation to help the cats and then enter the cat room to hang out and/or play with the cats and kittens. Lots of furniture and toys to make it comfortable and fun. Bring your laptop for the coolest workspace in town. For less than the price of a South Beach cocktail, you can spend an hour with the cats and help support their adoption efforts.
The ladies are really nice and they take great care of all the beautiful cats they have under their care. If you like cats this is the place to be.
Great service. I am not a cat person, but everyone else in my family is, So I was dragged... And the menu is simple but good stuff. The espresso was excellent, as was the avocado toast... And everything else looks great. I couldnt imagine how to enjoy food with cats, and heard you had to pay. Brilliant. You enter a simple cozy clean cute Cafe with 5 tables. The cat den runs the length of the cafe, and is enclosed, and you can pay to go sit with them, or just view them from the cafe - from the tables or a row of stools along the cat area.
I love cats but I am also so allergic, but that definitely did not stop me from petting every cat I could in that room. They are all such sweethearts, and I would go back 100x if I could. Food and drinks were good, but I wish there were more drink options, as I am not a coffee person. The entire space is kept so clean, you would never know there were 20+ cats living there! Had minimal allergies even with being in a room full of cats!
A great place. I visit every time Im in South Beach. If you are an animal lover, go pet these friendly cats. They are all up for adoption too.
Amazing staff, amazing cats! The employees are friendly and the cats are absolute angels, plenty of cats to play with and they are all very sweet, and all very well taken care of.
Far and away the most enjoyable part of my vacation. I wish I had more time in Miami to go back and sit with the kitties.
This place is amazing, perfect for amazing Instagram selfies! Cats are friendly, the cat room is clean and inviting. Perfect place to study and hang out & reset before going back into the craziness of SoBe.
Its a splendid little place, The cats are all wonderful and mellow go and you will enjoy it.The time will be well spent..😺♥️
Loved it! The owner is also very nice and the kitties are absolutely adorable.
The most amazing experience. If youre a cat person you will absolutely love this
Extremely lovely café with an adorable, warm atmosphere. The owner was very passionate about their café and treated us with much hospitality, as did the workers. The kitties were all a mixture of sleepy, playful, and affectionate. Theres even some calm ambient music inside the kitty room! All of the cats are up for adoption if youd like to take a kitty to a loving home. Beautiful spot! Had a great time with many smiles.
For those that dont understand, Cats are not dogs (And I am a dog person) if you come to the Cat Café is to watch them, play if they feel like or just chill with the cats and their music. Also, if they are fed with Catnip (thats a sedative for them) so, for that reason youll see them sleeping entirely and just ignoring their surroundings. If you come to the Café, you gotta understand the money is to feed them and their veterinary services. Also, it helps them to get adopted. I went here with my partner and the cats are amazing. I wish we were able to see the ones in the back, but they are adapting or they simply do not like people, and you have to respect their territory. The food was great and the lemonade. Loved talking to the owner and the story of the place. I hope it can continue open. I made my part. Visit, if you love animals. They do love being pet, but you gotta ask the cats before doing it so.
If I could give more than 5 stars I could. All the cats are super adorable!! Julie especially was so friendly and lovely and I hope she finds a forever home soon! The cats are in an extremely clean and relaxing environment with super cute beach themed decorations and music! The measures and precautions taken for COVID-19 were admirable and other places should take notes. The owner was super nice and easy to talk to, I will definitely be coming back as soon as I can 💗 I wish the best for this place, the cats, and the owners. 😽
Cats have been loved and revered for centuries. Not everyone is lucky enough to live with a cat though. This cafe makes it possible to still enjoy their company. They also have a really outstanding collection of menu items that are just perfect for getting through the afternoon and early evening. Anyone on the go looking for a little affection and a tasty treat should do themselves and favour and drop in.
Great place to chill, get away, eat some good food. Looking forward to coming back with my coworkers. The place has a nice feel to it.
I’m not sure who is in charge of answering phones for this establishment, but they certainly have a lot to learn in the ways of customer service. I’d been wanting to visit here for about a month and finally had a chance to inquire, and the conversation was awful. Whoever this person is has an attitude and was very short with me. They slammed the phone in my ear. Could have at least said to have a nice day! I see that usually reviews get a response from this business so hopefully someone is reading this and can clarify to me why this event occurred. You want to know how you can service better? Maybe try not to be rude to potential visitors. I’ve read the other negative reviews and in regards to that even this person is rude and refuses to take any responsibility or even consider that the negative review might be accurate. Appalling and argumentative behavior from a business owner. I’m inclined to believe that whoever owns this place has an attitude that is indicative of what reflected during my conversation with her. Seriously disappointed. I will be visiting the other cat cafe that is opening March 1st and very much hope the communication skills there are appropriate and of a professional manner. Have a nice day!
Such a sweet cafe with a good cause at heart. Delicious coffee and small bites. I ordered the avocado toast and it was an overpriced piece of toasted white bread with a schmear of premade guac on it. The staff is so sweet and Id return for the coffee, cats and would try some of the unique gluten free treats.
Such a cool idea to share a coffee next to fostered cats. It was very clean and enjoyable. They had 87 cats adopted through the cafe last year! Awesome! There is a $10 fee which was sad, but the money is used to keep the animals clean, housed, fed, and healthy. One thing to keep in mind is that they only let you enter every 30 minutes so we had to wait to enter.
We love this place so much. We happened walk pass this cafe and my daughter screamed when saw it. The place is super clean, friendly, good drink and omg all the cats are super cute. We keep come back there everyday until we done with our vacation. Recommend for all cat lovers
Loved all the babies!
Extraordinary staff that genuinely care about their cause. Loved talking with them about their cats and their business. Enjoyed a great cup of coffee while playing with a lovely group of well socialized cats. They provide them with a lovely space to play, sleep and explore. Check out the cat Cafe next time youre in Miami!
One of the highlights of my visit to Miami. These cats are well loved and the owner of the place is a fabulous woman. Drinks and baked goods are delicious. While it’s quirky, this is a serious operation. If you don’t plan to respect the rules, this is not the place for you but if you truly have a heart for cats and are looking to adopt, this is your place!
This place is so wonderful!!!! The food and coffeeis great, the cats are in their own room and the fee for 30 minutes of play with adorable kitties is only $10! I have to say i was amazes at the fact that there is NO BAD SMELL!!! Usually cat cafes have a faint smell of litter that is bearable, this place is INCREDIBLY CLEAN and odorless!!!! Only the smell of good fresh coffee and yummy food. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Cute little cafe with coffees and baked goods. Had a pretty decent cup of coffee (strong and flavorful). I had a few terrible coffees on SoBe so it was refreshing to get a decent cup here. The cats are adorable. $10 for 30 minutes with their foster cats. Worth it
As a cat cafe, this place is great. There are tons of cats that are taken care of rather well and fun to play with. Additionally, the staff are great and offer fantastic cat conversation if you want to talk feline facts. My only qualm is the coffee here - definitely pass on it and just go for the cats.
Unique concept and fun design. Actual cats that you can go and pet very cool and fun for adults, kids, and especially cat lovers. Worth a stop by if you want a coffee, pastries, or just a change from the average coffee shop. Very cool place
The pastries are really good and the cars are so cute and friendly! They will try to sneak and eat your cake, though, so be mindful! All of the cats were well socialized and most of them wanted to play! There was a mix of older cats and kittens. The place looks and smells great, and the staff is very nice. Definitely recommend having a visit if you want to show some cats love.
What a wonderful experience and great community support for the kitties of South Beach. I very much enjoyed my time at the cafe. It was my first experience at a cat cafe and it did not disappoint. This place is a must see for locals and tourist. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and a delight. Thank you for helping cats find their furever homes and the community of Miami.
We visited on 8/18/19 and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed two espressos, two chicken empanadas, and a free slice of cake (for my birthday-- thank you again!!). We then spent some time in the kitty room, where we were able to interact with about 25 cats. Theyre all very sweet and well cared for, and you could tell that the owner puts her heart and soul into taking care of those cats. Id definitely recommend visiting here, as it was really fun and informative!
Amazing atmosphere, the kitties are well adjusted and well taken care of. Highly recommend! Incredible place!
I visited the cafe yesterday. Had an amazing experience the cats are so well looked after and have lots to keep them entertained. If I wasnt from England I would have wanted to have taken them all home! The owner is a lovely lady. Keep up the good work 😘😘😘
Super awesome experience, i definitely would make time to stop by here if you’re visiting the area. Wish i could have taken one of the babies home with me!
I am beyond disappointed. After following the creation/opening of this cat cafe for nearly a year online, I was so excited to have a visit with my daughter. I checked their website ahead of time, and it clearly stated we like little humans and we ask that humans under the age of 11 be accompanied by an adult human. Sounded great to me! I drove 40 minutes to South Beach with my daughter and got her very excited to pet the kitties. When we arrived, the cafe was empty. I told the attendant that I wanted to pay the donation fee and visit with the cats. She informed me that my daughter was too young, and apparently there is a MINIMUM AGE OF 6 YEARS to be admitted. We were very disheartened and left. Please update your website to more honestly reflect your current policies. Im sure many other people will make this mistake, thinking it might be a fun and educational experience to take their little ones...
This place is truly purr-fect! What a wonderful assortment of cats to be entertained by and they have such distinct personalities. It feels like a stretch of beach with the kitties in charge. The cat boutique in the back is really cute as well. A truly magical place to get lost in even if you are stopping in for a quick coffee. I highly recommend it!
They have tons of cats. Do I really need to justify my 5 star rating any further? Lol. The staff is nice and the environment is clean and nice looking. Great place to hang out if youre a cat lover.
Beautiful place. Its a mini Oasis filled with cats - very therapeutic and relaxing. They have soft music playing and knowing my money goes to a good cause feels great. I will be back. Definitely come check it out!
Cool idea to include cats. Food is pretty good and lots of bakery goods. Very fun to play with the cats while youre there.
Love the concept, all are rescue animals and many will find homes. Very friendly people, some are volunteers. Only suggestion is to place additional seating for an even more relaxing environment. There is seating but much of it is already in use by people/cats or is not placed in the vicinity of where the cats happen to be. Maybe some type of folding seat so you could move around and take your seat with you? It would be better than sitting on the floor while sipping coffee.
Such an amazing place. We stopped in here after seeing the cats in the window. For a donation, you can enter the kitten room and hang out with a group of former street cats. The staff was kind and very helpful. They informed us that there are more cats than people on the island and this is one of the ways to help place cats in loving homes. I hope anyone who misses their cats while on vacation stops in for some playtime and kitten love. And anyone who lives here stops by to bring home a furry friend.
I have been there 4 times and it gives me pleasure to see the environment in which the cats are. The place is very neat, the background music is very relaxing and the cats look clean, healthy and well fed. For me it is a pleasure to pay $10 knowing that it is a donation for the welfare of cats.God bless them for doing such a rewarding job.
THE BEST CAT CAFE IN SOUTH FLORIDA. My husband and I love it here so much! The atmosphere, the playpen, the cats... Its all such a lovely, calming experience within clean and cute quarters. The owner is a pleasant woman who clearly prioritizes the safety and comfort of the cats above all else.
Homeless cats and kittens on show behind glass windows from the pavement outside the cafe and from inside. You can donate and play with the cats for a few minutes. They have re-homed 49 cats in the last three months alone. Its lovely to watch the kittens playing and the older cats relaxing in the sun coming in through the window. Plus, its a cafe and you can buy coffee and cake while you smile.
My favorite place in Miami Beach. Wish I could visit every weekend! Come here to pet cats and eat yummy baked goods with great coffee. Love this place so much and I’m so happy there’s finally a cat cafe in Miami.
Such an amazing place! The staff is so nice and friendly AND so are the cats. All the cats are nice and very friendly with people. I took my best friend for her birthday, a d I booked a reservation for us, which they reccomend. We stayed a little over the time and the staff let us do our thing and hand out with the cats as we please. Great experience.
Very interesting concept. There is an entrance fee to pet the kittens, the cats are available for adoption and the staff is extremely nice and patient. I went there with my daughters and the lady who explained us the cafes rules was very patient, nice and knowledgeable. I will be returning.
I went in and saw signs saying to please buy something in order to go in with the cats. I bought a $5 tea to see the cats for just a couple mins and was told AFTER you need to pay a $10 donation. That’s complete false advertising and definitely made me feel taken advantage of. Just be upfront and tell people BEFORE they order and it wouldn’t have been a problem whatsoever.I would of paid the donation and just not bought a drink I didn’t want. The cats are adorable and it seems like a cool atmosphere but be warned about the untold donation to even touch a cat. Again, it’s not the price at all it’s not being told beforehand.
A great little shop that rescues cats off the streets, get them healthy and are adoptable. Totally worth a visit! 😍
Excellent idea. And i am happy that place lkle this exist.and i hope all cats will be one day adopted and fine forever home ♡
Needed some cat time with my husband and I enjoyed it so much. Its good to give love to these cats while they wait for their furrever home.
Well, where to begin? Delicious food, fabulous coffee, and best of all, so many cats! Must be the best place in South Beach for cat lovers to go!
Cafe part has good drinks and food items. Cat area is super clean and full of kitties looking for a forever home.
Very good cozy shop with cats behind the glass. Drinks with no latte art but tasted yummy. Customer service from barista is pro! 🤗
Great service, friendly staff cute cats. If you can donate, then donate it goes to a great cause. Coffee was subpar and lukewarm
