Helloooo... well I have to say that this family dollar location is really convenient for our neighborhood/island. You can find what you need steps away from your house. No need to go to Miami or SoBe. Products are limited but still it will help.It usually has good prices and offers that makes more interesting your visit.There are from telephones to toys. From clothes to soft drinks to soap and detergents.Located in normandy island strip. Next to ace hardware, 70 one bistro, barber shops, laundromat, and more stores.Staff is a little relaxed. On the phone or killing time more than trying to keep this location organized or accommodating customers. Well there is always something to improve!!!Make sure your final price matches the shelves one in order to avoid managers attitude.See yall soon.

Dirty store, line is ALWAYS long and employees do not speak English. They also sell food that is past the expiration date. Not worth the hassle.

The new set up is marketable, the only downfall is 90% staff cant communicate with English only speaking customers but the staff will request assistance for translation.

Prices were NOT ONE DOLLAR.Never going back to that store anymore unless they change their name.

Look I go to my grandmas and we have to go to family dollar and its a good place like it has some good stuff for such low prices and if you play your cards right you will save so much money

It isnt the best but its definitely not the worst Family Dollar. If the store could reconfigure the way the shelves are currently, it might lessen the theft. Almost every item has been opened or tested (makeup products) which I now noticed, the store has raised the prices on their $1 makeup products up to $1.50-$3.00. Also the shelves in front of the cash registers are cumbersome, it blocks the view for the cashier to keep an eye on shoplifters and its in the way when customers need to get around another customer at the cash wrap. The way it was set up before when they first opened, it was much better and hire some more cashiers, the lines are perpetually long. I really hope they Feng Shui the place, it might help.

One cashier for about 10 customers. Excessive wait to pay. The store is well provisioned and cared for.3 stars are only for to long wait

Customer service is nasty and there is never anyone in there to help. Line get backed up, and roachesalways crawling around

No management or horrible owner, which is it? Terrible lines. Often trouble with the registers. Some nice staff, yes. BUT, Some staff are dumbasses or shady, which is it? Count your change. Tried to short change my wife once. .Just because they have a monopoly in the neighborhood doesnt mean they should abuse the people. Where is the owner? He is guilty. A piece of crap most likely. If a dollar tree opened up next doors, nobody would go anymore. Will file a complaint with corporate headquarters.

The worst customer service ever! Most things are opened and unorganized af!! The workers don’t even know where anything is or how much things even costs! Asking a question isn’t even an option without getting a massive attitude in return. Sooo aggravating 😡 😡

Everything you need from your local dollar store. One problem. 2 people in line can quickly turn into 12 with a blink of an eye.

The lines to the cashier are always backed up around the corner down the Isle.The cashier is wearing head phones while checking you out and cannot hear what you are saying.Most of the cashiers do not speak English and cannot comprehend what you are saying. I have at times had to ask someone in line to translate.Most of the time the cashiers have non related conversations with the customers about everything but business at hand.Most of the help cannot assist you because they do not know where anything is at or cant understand you because they dont speak English.

Huge variety of things but no so cheap like it looks like. Some times I just avoid to go because the line to pay at the only one cashier could be like 15 minutes.The employees maybe are bad played because they look unhappy always. I feel guilty every time I go there.

The cashier is always rude I gave her the money on her hands, and she puts the money on the counter, she slams the change on the counter. Im also a cashier and if I would do something like that like that I would be fired on the spot. I deal with rude guest everyday at work and outside my job.

The customer service here isnt great. They answer their phones and chitchat amongst themselves instead of conversing with the customers. If it werent so convenient to pick up last minute items since its so close, I wouldnt go here at all.

Pretty nice place to go to everything is at a reasonable price, the only reason this isnt a 5 star place is because of all the clutter and the long lines that are constantly there, on top of that it makes it tedious to get any help from the employees unless you speak Spanish which is a huge problem all over the beach
