Very helpful! I had some questions and I felt secure in their answers, mostly because I talked to my grandfather before going to insure I wouldnt be swindled. They definitely passed the test, didnt try to sell me something I didnt need, and had the answers I was looking for. They had a full garage when I pulled up, within 10 minutes they were servicing my car. I would recommend this garage for anyone, especially people that might feel they will be taken advantage of.

When I got an oil change here it was fast and cheap. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Vehicle inspection. This place was the dirtiest nastiest place I have ever been inI had had my battery changed recently and forgot I needed to drive it to reset the emission system. So of course it failed. Went out and put 25 miles on it came back in it failed again. Went out and drove it another 40 MI came back and it failed again in the guy gave me absolutely no helpful information whatsoeverand the ultimate was there are no smoking signs everywhere and every time the heat came on it smelled like I was in the midst of a forest fireand the ultimate was I happen to look out into the inspection bay and the guy was vaping!!! I would rather abandon my car on the side of the road rather than ever bring it here again.

They explained everything and provided several choices about services. Gave me an estimated time of completion that was fast and accurate, getting me back to my sons baseball game before the first pitch. Extremely professional and nice. Did not condescend to the woman. If in Mesquite, again, when I need an oil change or state inspection, I will totally go back to them.

Reliable, dependent, fast service. Prompt, with a good attitude. Easy to get in and out of the shop. Close to LBJ at Oates exit. Ive been using this location through various management for 20 years. They dont get 5 stars because they claim to perform 20+ points of service, but often it is clear that they did not do some of them - washing windows, vacuuming, etc. It makes me wonder about the more important things that they claim to be checking under the hood or on the chassis. Ive told this to different managers over the years, but it doesnt change. Ive continued to use them because they are convenient and I have never experienced serious problems. Be on guard for the up-sale -- engine flush and brake line flush are common suggestions. A quick search on Google or a conversation with your mechanic (or dad) will show you that the need for an engine flush is debatable, especially if you change your oil regularly, and they can cause problems.

This location is the best in the Dallas area. I was literally there maybe 20 minutes max. My tech was upfront about pricing and knew exactly what my truck needed. I appreciate the details these guys took on my truck! Thank you for being honest and quick!

I normally get my car serviced at the dealership across the interstate. The dealership temporarily closed due to some computer glitch and they recommended Kwik Kar to get my state inspection. I was in and out. The service was fast and the techs very customer service oriented. Highly recommend them.

If I could give NO STARS, I would. I stopped by this place on the spur of the moment to get my car inspected. They inspect it, and it passes inspection. I pay, take my keys, and get in my car. It wont start. No click, not anything. I go back inside and speak with them. They dont know anything about it. Really? My car was working perfectly fine. Now it wont start. They look at it. Tell me my starter needs to be replaced. So it quit, just like that?! I dont think so. It was working perfectly. They had to have done something. Starters dont just go out like that. All I needed was a less than $40 inspection. They ended up charging me $299.62 for a new starter. Not to mention that I ended up being there for several hours. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

I brought in my car that I knew had a leak somewhere in the power steering department and needed an oil change. Within just a few minutes they had my car in the bay and were taking a look at it, they quickly found the leak and told me it couldn’t be done that day, because they needed to order the hose (one they found that was cheaper than O’reilly’s just up the street). They did the oil change, Brandon ordered the part, I had an appointment made to bring my car back for the work, and was done in under 30 minutes—even though they were busy and every bay was full.I have taken my car to many different shops in Dallas and am relieved to have found a shop I trust. A huge bonus to this shop is that they have a car lift and can do more than just the usual tune-ups and inspections (which I got done on this visit as well). I will continue to bring my vehicles to this shop for service. They were fair and honest. Upfront about the cost of the work. And genuinely pleasant and friendly to be around.

It is incredibly rare to find an “oil change station” that offers such top-notch whole car service. The owner manager Brandon Murphy is a man of incredible integrity and went the extra mile for me. He and his guys have consistently sorted out a host of issues for my vehicles while executing great oil changes. Recently he was able to diagnose nuanced issues with my Lexus GX 470 and then went as far as to connect me to the right specialists in the area that could fix the problem! Honest and highly capable. And VERY competitive prices. Mr. Murphy has shown me line items on my bill and shared competitors prices to ensure me that I was being well taken care of. Try finding that level of value, service and transparency somewhere else in Dallas! I can not recommend them more highly!

First visit was oil change .Very professional. Pleasant experience. Second visit i asked if they could look for a leak, oil or other source. They promptly put my car in the oil change area to view the underside .I suspected transmission fluid leak .They confirmed it for me.A couple of weeks prior to this visit i had my clutch replaced at a repair shop..The professionals at Kwik Kar Lube & Tune informed me that the old seals were reused and were allowing my transmission fluid to completely leak out.I was told by Brandon that the app.they use for parts and repair says CAUTION !!!! DO NOT REUSE SEALS .I completely appreciate All the honesty and help from the crew at Kwik Kar Lube &Tune. I Highly recommend them and WILL soon take my car to them for my next oil change .i had to spend unnecessary Additional $$$ but thankful they helped confirmed the leak in my cars transmission .The shop that replaced my clutch, North Grand Garage in Gainesville Texas denied any wrong doing .Brandon at Kwik Kar said that i could have lost my transmission due to negligence of North Grand, a $3.00 seal .

So I went today to get my oil changed and they came back telling me I needed a brake and engine flush. I’m not a car person but they seemed to be adamant that I needed both so I went ahead and got it all done. $300 dollars later I wish I would have done some research and told them no to the engine flush bc it really isn’t a necessary thing to have done and cost me an extra $85 dollars. My car is a 2017 model and should not require an engine flush if I regularly change my oil and filter which I am diligent about doing. Do some research before you agree to what they say is necessary and don’t bother with an engine flush. I wish places like this could just be honest instead of trying to make a profit off someone. Hopefully nothing goes wrong with my car now that they’ve done one. Next time I’ll know better and will go somewhere else for my oil changes in the future.“An engine flush washes the gunk out of your cars engine – and most cars will never need one, says an engine expert. ... You have to change the oil after an engine flush, otherwise it would plug up your system, says Mott. Thats why they sell them at the same time as oil changes. I have been bringing my cars to this location for over 20 years. I have never had one single problem. All of the employees are excellent and friendly and that goes for Brett the Manager as well. Yes, they do recommend minor maintenance for your vehicle but its up to the customer to choose whether to take advantage of it. I currently own three vehicles and they all get serviced there along with annual inspections. Very pleased.

Very RUDE and the professionalism was lack thereof for that being my first visit to the business. The way the elder white gentlemen dismissed ANY of my questions regarding a “check engine” light was ALL of disheartening!As I witnessed the patron before me get asked did he KNOW that his “check engine” light was on & he....(the Kwik Kar service guy) suggested that it must have come off and on and he proceeds to explain what he should he do. 🤔(NOT, your car can’t pass inspection with the check engine light on!!!!)However when he called my vehicle he said, “your check engine light is on”! We can’t pass the car!!!! My husband proceeds to ask a question he all but, dismissed him in such a way, I had to LEAVE immediately! The lack of customer service, the lack of even being interested in what a customer may have to say.... NOT A PEEP! It’s absolutely a shame to be treated as such, when I witnessed the same issue as mine, minutes prior!I Just didn’t get the same courtesy or maybe I just wasn’t worth his time.Thanks for showing me how you felt about my small business.

I just decided to edit my review - I have literally had hundreds of oil changes and I dont think Ill ever go anywhere else. Spent a minute with Alex he was a super nice guy, he was very helpful even pointed out of filter under my Dash I did not know existed. They were fast and efficient, cleaning the windows, checking the air pressure in the tires, and were even going to vacuum the car. Their price made it more worthwhile! Once my car was in the garage, I think I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely a company I will visit again. Thanks Alex and the guys for the hard work ethic and performing with excellence!

I berly bought my car that time I came here and I knew everything was fine because I berly got it. After he told me about a suppose leak he try to tell me about more problems that my car had so I just ignore him and waited for him to change my oil.

Cost was more than I hoped for, but far less than it could have been.Everyone with whom I interacted was professional (and no one laughed at me for not changing my oil sooner).Ill be back.

I chose Kwik Kar because it is close to my house and I pass it everyday. This will be the place I go for oil changes and state inspections from now on. They were friendly and quick! I do not usually take the time to write a review but I was blown away by the customer service and the fact that they did not pressure me to get anything else done.

They tried to get me out of $400 and im a %100 it was because i was a female. All i need was a oil change and my tires aired up. come to find out no air was put in my tires on top of the oil they put in my car was not the correct color. I went for an oil change and they dont have the oil I usually get, which is Mobile 1 full synthetic and so I had to get Valvoline full synthetic instead. I never put anything besides Mobile 1 full synthetic in my car. Definitely not coming back. Plus, when the employee check my cabin air filter, he mixed up all my paperwork and envelopes and did not bother to put it back exactly the way he took it out. I had them all organized and then I had to reorganize them. Such carelessness and disrespectful. I never do such thing, if I move something that does not belong to me, I put it right back as it was because I respect peoples time and their things. That was very unprofessional behavior of the employee.

Update: It took me over five months to get back to have them about the ac. However, when I did they took care of the problem. Mr. Brandon Murphy explained it could be a valve that needed to be changed and not the compressor itself. The lead tech took a look and that was the problem. I spent less than $100 for that compared to $1000 for labor and parts of a new compressor. I appreciate the fact they were willing to make right on my complaint. If more shops would do this the world would be a better place. I am one happy customer!I went to the shop to have ac service before the hot temps hit hard here in Texas. I was told ac service was 39.99 and an additional 19.99 per pound of freon. The tech explained my car should use no more than a pound and half. So about 60 dollars plus taxes. I was called to pay and the total was a little over $70. When I made it to the car the tech was still sitting in the car and stated he noticed it was taking longer to cool. I wont lie I was disappointed to hear that when it was blowing just fine before I came there. So I drove around a little and noticed not only had my pressure changed coming from the vent nor was it as cold prior to the visit. I called back and Prat the manager asked if I would bring it back. I really wasnt expecting to BUT its the only way to resolve the problem. I also addressed when reviewing my receipt the price was $29.99 for 0.75 lbs of freon and not the price I was told. I will be taking it back and update this when all is said and done.

My wife just came back from there, her second trip since we bought a house down the street. They were quick with her synthetic oil change but told my wife her power steering fluid was dark and needed to be replaced. It was just replaced. I remember because I purchased the Acura fluid online and brought it to the place. I watched them do it and checked it a few days later to make sure the level was correct.Well, you guys got your 85 bucks by being scandalous. You also lost two synthetic oil customers for the next 15 years.

My wife took our 2013 Pathfinder in for an oil change . T.W tried to sell her an engine flush, a radiator flush, and a break fluid flush. We have approximately 50k miles and it has been maintained properly. They changed $70 for a simple oil change. Courtesy Nissan charges $29.95 for an oil change and tire rotation. We will never go to Kwik Kar again. Extremely disappointed. Roy P. Cagle

Never again. They told an elderly lady that she needed an air filter and she bought it because she THOUGHT she could trust them..All she asked for is an inspection!!!!...come to find out she didnt NEED an air filter. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!

Had to go back to get some old oil washed off a splash guard as it was staining my garage floor. But have never had quality issues with their service - no stripped drain plugs or leaking filters.

I just brought my 2011 Silverado in to have a full synthetic oil change. I asked them 3 times to check the antifreeze and to top it off as that is part of the price. I paid 78$. I pop the hood in their parking lot and of course the antifreeze had not been touched. I alert the tech who proceeds to tell me that they dont fill it to the top because it will overflow. No kidding? I guess because Im a girl Im not supposed to know that. However, it wasnt even touched. Now Im seriously doubting if there is even synthetic oil in my engine. Im willing to bet the dishonest/lazy tech put in the cheap stuff. I will never go to this company again. Back to Jordans Goodyear on Galloway for me!

So I usually go to good year until today I went to kwik kar came up there to have a simple oil change, when I got off the car and wait, the worker came up to me and was like you need to have this certain oil for your car, and in my head I was like what you mean? So Im guessing he recommend me to a better oil for the car. Then I ask him how much was the oil change for my car which is synthetic oil they use. He told me that its only a little more than what you paid for the other oil so I was thinking maybe like $5- $10 more. I usually paid about $20 for the oil change. I agreed with the synthetic oil. Then 3 mins later he came back to me and told me that I need a engine filter and ac filter change, because it was dirty. I was like what? How can it be? I have my car inspection 4 days ago before my oil change. I told the inspector to check my ac filter before they inspect my car. So he pull out the filter and show it to me, it was barely any type of dust I can see accept the engine filter.So I was like okay go ahead and change the two filter. When they finish I went to go check out. My tab was like $147, I told the cashier why it was so expensive, he told me Because i got the synthetic oil. Synthetic oil cost $76!!!! Thats three time the amount I paid at Goodyear. All I want was a simple oil change for $20 and tab went up to $147. I just got hustle, never again go to this place. One of the fastest oil change I ever had! It take them about 6 mins to change them, 7 mins top.when Goodyear take 20 mins to change it. Do not go to this place and get rob by them

Would give 0 stars if I could. The guy working there tried to rip me off by telling me I had to buy new wipers to pass my inspection when I replaced my wipers 3 months ago.
