Barbara. A multi-location, multi-year, employee of Sears, is the best part of my shopping experience. I cant thank her enough. I literally saved two hundred dollars, because of her. The online customer support is awful. A washer and dryer. There was an issue with the washer and we call within our 30-day policy and have been getting the runaround till our 30 days expired. They keep telling my mom that they were going to call her back and never did its amazing how nice and helpful Sears is when theyre selling the product but if its time for the product to be fixed they cant help you.

Sears last day of service is today. I wasnt aware that they were going out of business. The 85 percent deals were great. Nothing much left in stock.

Well, a once booming company and storefront is reduced to a bare necessity store. If you know what you need and this store has it in stock, then you can pick it up. However, there are lots of bare shelves and bare parts of the store.The employees seemed to have a great attitude and were willing to help.

Sears is an older anchor of the economy, but not the store of my youth. More like an outlet store now. No excitement in the store. Lots of open spaces and a decreased selection. Perhaps in part due to the plague unleashed upon us by China, but a clear lack of enthusiasm by store staff as well. Nice place to compare prices with other merchants though.

I went to the store a couple of days ago and it looks like they’ve already started the liquidation process. It is the last remaining Sears in DFW but I don’t see how it stays more than a few more weeks. Tools and sporting goods looks like a ghost town. Large section of the store is blocked off And empty. They are already selling store fixtures. Lots of empty spots in appliances and all appliances. I remember when Sears used advertise that they have everything but those days are long gone. The only reason the store still is a around nobody wants the real estate. Sad to see this part of American history dying. Im at the store now the liquidation sell is well underway. Even now they are still overpriced. Dont buy the rugs its a scam. They have a gun cleaning kit discounted to just $5 above what it sells for on Amazon now. Maybe the next couple of weeks will be better.

The customer service is really bad!!! I have been trying to get a new refrigerator under my warranty since August and every time we call they keep us on hold for >3 hours and when it is finally our turn, they hang up our calls!!!! We have had no working refrigerator since August!!! I WANT A RESPONSE AND GET THIS ISSUE FIXED ASAP! I would NOT recommend anyone buy from Sears or buy their warranties bc you will not be getting their products or issues resolved in a timely matter!

Mr.Steve R. In the automotive department had excellent customer service. Made my husband and I feel so welcome and very professional and knowledgeable with his job. Service preformed on my Jeep Cherokee was very timely mannered. We will definitely drive the hr and a half for our vehicle to get serviced there again. Looks like they might be going out of business. There are bear walls but they still have good products for sale, just not a lot of it. There are somethings on sale but mostly normal pricing.

Great place with great selection of clothing. A lot of shoe varities as well. Great atmosphere. Bought a mattress here and it is very good quality for low price. Lines are long and there is a lack of carts. Overall the place is great. (This was before pandemic hit Dallas)

TERRIBLE!! I visited the Mesquite location to purchase a refrigerator for my new home. Almost every single one in the store was on back order from the manufacturer & not in stock. After purchasing the ONLY one said to be available I received a call 2 days before delivery saying it, too, was out of stock and would be delayed by 1 month. I immediately cancelled my order and purchased one from Nebraska Furniture Mart and they delivered the very next day. It has now been 5 weeks and SEARS has still NOT refunded my money. I have called 4 times only to be told Dont worry, it takes 14-30 days for a refund. WHAT?! Terrible customer service and they are thieves!! Do NOT purchase from Sears.

Going out of business so everything is on clearance. The only boots and shoes left in the mens section are my size (13) and a few numbers in the double digits. I bought a $170 pair of Wolverine boots for $80 bucks. Not a bad deal

Probably the only Sears store in Texas left in operation! Dont expect the old Sears store, loaded shelves, full tool selection, because that is a thing of the past! If you are looking for Craftsman tools they have a better selection than most Lowes stores!

Had a clerk named Molly spot me looking lost. She kindly directed me to the escalator for lower level. Up on getting back to the upper level she again spotted me and gave me directions on my way out. Very nice young woman who just happened to be in the right place at the right time. Hopefully youll run into her should you need help as I did.

I went to Sears to the eye doctor. When I was done with my appointment, decided to go looking around. Ended up finding 3 Xmas presents. And they were on sale. I hit the jackpot. Found the talking doll my littlest grand daughter wants from Santa. You really never know what good sales there are, until you go looking.

Sears was pretty busy on a Sunday. Clearance and good deals across all departments. Even though we were looking for shoes/boots there were many families preparing for school in the fall. We could find tools, clothes, shoes, housewares, appliances all for very good prices. Sears still represents quality and we found exactly the shoes we were looking for.

They fixed my tire on my bike.... I M j ur st had to order the tire but thanks guys

Great closing sale on some items

Do not buy from sears! We purchased a brand new washer and dryer for our new construction home that was being built! Our house was just finished two weeks ago so we were able to finally install our washer and dryer! When we pulled the washer out of the box it had water in the line, odd! Then we connected it to test it out and of course it is leaking water everywhere and does not work properly! To say sears gave us a used washer claiming it new is understatement! We tried to exchange it and was told we were past our 30 day exchange and we should have bought a protection plan....we were never told anything about a protection plan! Yes we may be a little past the 30 day but we could not install until the house was available for us to! They want us to call for our “new washer” to be repaired, why it’s suppose to be brand new!!!???? Now I have a new washer that doesn’t work this is def putting a damper on us moving into our first new home! The employees go out of their way to help you. They have great great sales. The merchandise is very high-quality I think. I got a garbage disposal. The plumber said it was the same kind that they use in houses. Please give the salespeople a pay raise.👍

Good store with great deals

They didnt have the product I needed in a size & price I could dare to spare. They did however, have a compassionate, intelligent salesman. Due to our emergency circumstances he referred us to a trustworthy affordable place. He had no fear of consequences for loosing a big sale. The result for us wouldve been very harsh had we had to pay for the same product in the higher price it was already outta budget. That speaks volume for their store as well as the employee in my opinion

I am not a fun of shopping but my friends are. They have great time at Sears always. There is a great variety of clothes of good quality and the prices are much cheaper than in other similar stores. I am glad they wont close these stores.

Got a camp chair for wife, a high visibility work jacket for me. Gordon checked us put. He was professional and helpful. He told us he has worked for Sears for over 50 years. Great store with a lot of bargains.

Sears needs to do better with the amount of cashiers they have at the register where is the manager to manage when lines are long and been waiting for 20 mins.. with 2 people at the register than one says I’m going to lunch and now it’s one...please do better.

When Sears in Richardson Closed earlier this year I was so disappointed that I was going to loose the Wonderful Shopping Experience with BARBARA . Today I went to to Town East Mall Sears. Guess who was there BARBARA I was so thrilled to see her so glad she decided to transfer to this store. It shows not only is she very well knowledge but this is also the best stocked sears in the tool department in all of Dallas Metroplex. I look forward to shopping with her soon.

Not surprised that Sears wont cover (warranty) tires bought roughly 14 months ago. There is absolutely no way my wife has put 31,000 miles on her car during this period. NO WAY!!!! I will not go back and hope that no one else will go either. Close your door Sears!!! I will help you!!

The Manager Bernice was very rude in trying to assist me. I waited 30min while she helped another customer then she walked by the jewelry department going up stairs after she told me 30min ago she would be with me. So I had to go ask the cashier in the other department to call once again for assistance in the jewelry department. Bernice came back 15 min later saying she had to go help someone else. She still could not assist me because she couldnt find keys to jewelry counter. I was very upset and felt like there management was not good presentation to there associates. I will not shop in there again. I took my business else where.

First stop was at the shoe department, we were unable to find what we needed, it was somehow disorganized, we asked d sales associate for assistance, she gave us the go to d other side so you can find out the price then she called for assistance over the intercom and no one showed up, it made our visit longer than we expected, poor customer service. We headed to the appliances department and everyone there were very friendly, promptly helped us with smiles.

I like this place for the affordable clothing and dressing. Big and small brands are there at very good prices. Most of my casual tees and shorts are from sears. This specific location at town east mall has great selectuons. Other locations are not that great in terms of variety.

If you want tires go to Discount tire. Pay the extra $4. Ive had 50+ sets of tires in my lifetime. The one time I go here they damage my wheel and deny doing so. I did receive a customer appreciation voucher through their Insurance even though they denied it. Always believe if you do something you absolutely own up to it.

Nothing bad to say. I went to pick up an online order and they had it ready for me in less than 3 minutes after I checked in. Happy customer.

Positive then negative:Normal Sears at a mall. Nothing wrong with it in the sales areas. Good sales and signage with well maintained racks, shelves, etc.But, the bathrooms downstairs were not maintained (toilet was over flowing with bad water all over the floor). Needed a lot of work. Kids come in to use these bathrooms. That was horrible for any store. Understanding that a toilet can overflow or back up anywhere. But no toilet paper and two out of the three sinks in the womans restroom were out of order. Some basic level of service is expected!

A year ago they gave me a good deal on things that need to be done on my truck. Yesterday I called and asked about getting my tires rotated and they told me that I could come in when they opened and they would work me in, I told them I didnt want to sit there as I had no one to pick me up, so I made and appointment for 3pm today and they didnt start working on my truck until 4pm, so I was there almost 2 hours, and I told them they overbooked.

I wasnt really shopping there so give him them three stars isnt really a fair rating but I was actually just kind of strolling through as I was walking through the mall so this rating isnt exactly from what I saw was a pretty good establishment I would probably go there for things Sears is pretty good store Craftsman tools which are a Sears items are definitely a Mainstay in my toolbox have a lifetime warranty which I love you can take them back in anytime if theyre broken or damaged I definitely recommend Sears as a place to shop but Im giving them 3 stars simply because I didnt shop there I only got a stroll through if I would have actually shop there I would have share my experience of that

I really like shopping at this sears location. Its always clean and well organized. They are always having sales and have a friendly staff.

They are great. My microwave was bad so they are replacing it and installing it for free. The employee at Sears in the appliance section was courteous and got everything done. He confirmed for me to just wait for microwave to arrive to store and technician to come install it for free. Luckily my voucher covered the cost of same microwave. Thats wonderful service. Thanks. Sears is a great place for a part-time job for a retiree! Great people, flexible hour and a great manager! Great prices and quality products! Its a shame that due to poor decisions at the top, Sears is in danger of not existing! It will truly be missed!

One of my favorite places to shop for clothes or tools or other stuff. Most of our garage and yard tools were bought from Sears and have really stood the test of time. They have great sales and if you join their Shop Your Way rewards program you can get some fantastic deals. I know a lot of Sears stores have closed, hope they keep this one!

I purchased a Kenmore Elite Model #79631552610 Washer from Sears (Town East Mall, Mesquite, TX) on March 9th, 2019 for $649.99 without tax. When I first started using my washer, I noticed that occasionally it would not power up when hitting the power button on the first attempt. Sometimes I would need to press the power button harder or around it to turn on the washer. At the time, I didn’t think much about it until the washer stopped powering up all together, May 7, 2020.I tried troubleshooting the issue myself, however I was not successful. Therefore, I decided to call Sears to have a service man come and diagnosis the problem, which cost $98.00. When the service man got finished with his assessment, he explained that the mother board is damaged. He said the estimated cost would be $700.00 for the parts and labor. Therefore, my washer was totaled because the repair would cost more than the washer cost brand new.I decided to look at the washer to see if I could fix it. I learned that the washer would power on and I could wash clothes, however I had to take the front cover off and hit the power softkey on the motherboard directly. All I had to do was lightly touch the softkey and it would turn on. I placed the cover back on and took a picture and discovered that the softkey power was not touching or aligned with the power button on the cover (Picture A and Diagram B). That explains why the washer would not turn on sometimes and other times it would. Therefore, the problem with the washer is the construction or manufacturing of it. Which would lead me to believe that this is a defect.So far have spent three hours on the phone with no recourse. I have talked to twelve different people and only two were helpful. Meanwhile my family’s dirty clothes are pilling which is putting us at risk with contracting Covid-19. So, now my force to go to the Washateria which is putting me and my family at more risk of contracting Covid-19.

Sears has been doing its thing for years. There old hands are very steady and you can trust them at the wheel to guide you in the right direction. Ive never had a bad experience with them.Ive learned that a lot of their employees are on their second or third careers and know a thing or two about the fact that even though theyre on the job, they are people dealing people rather than customers. It always feels that way for me: more than an exchange of money for goods

Got a great deal on a a/c unit here. The price was better than Walmart or anyplace else. A year a go I had the same experience when buying a riding lawnmower. If you shop deals like I do, dont overlook Sears. I have been really happy with my experiences here.

I hadnt shopped at Sears in years, but I really enjoyed this visit. I went in to look around but I somehow left with several bathroom rugs, cookware, candles, and a popcorn maker. The sales were awesome!!

Sears is always great. I just wish they had people to help us locate what we were looking for. We almost left due to the difficult navigation of the clothing section. Also, the checkout line was fairly short but took forever. Hopefully they can fix these two issues asap.

I went to the Sears store in Mesquite in June June 8th to purchase a dryer. I had mentioned to the sales associate that the one I currently have is only 3 years old. He then asked me what was wrong with it and I told him the timer knob was broken along with the bracket that mounts it to the dryer. He suggested that I put in a service order with Sears instead of purchasing a new one because the repair wouldnt be that expensive to replace a timer. I called right away to make the appointment. When the repair man came out today he game me an estimate of $502!!! Thats $100 more than the $399 dryer the salesman talked me out of buying! I think the recommendation to put in a service order is a scam that Sears runs to get $99 service charge from customers even when they know in advance the repair is going to be more than a replacement. In addition, when I called customer service to register a complaint the supervisor was not helpful. She totally disregarded my point that the only reason I scheduled a service call is because your store employee told me it would be cheaper to repair than replace.I recieved a message to rate my service experience. When I communicated the information above I was told someone would get back with me. That was two months ago and I still havent heard back.

The store was super hot. The air conditioning was not working properly. The employees had personal fans and cooling devices around their necks. It was too hot to shop. I stopped in the restroom before leaving and it was filthy (and extremely hot).

Downsizing substantially. Staff has pretty good selections of clothing, appliances, and home furnishings. Outsources lawn,garden and appliance repairs. Not quite as good as it once was.

I got some new shoes and underwear, even though I dont wear them very often.The shoes, I mean.Customer service was excellent and the store was fully stocked ( if you wear L, XL or larger) The employees: 😎❤️👍Several items are on sale.

Staff seemed to be to preoccupied with their cell phones to assist or sale anything. Had my money in hand and ready to buy . Had a very clean organized store. Great location at the Town East Mall 635 & Town East, the address Google gave is wrong. Stopped at Albertsons gentleman worked there was nice to let me know where to find its exact location.

I went there to get upright bicycle. My sales person was such a good person and told me he will help me drop off treadmill at my house so I bought both bicycle and treadmill. I recently moved to Dallas. I dont know anyone has pick up truck so I told sales person I like to buy treadmill but dont have a pick up truck. He voluntarily told me he will drop it off if I buy them and I got it and he drop it off for me. I have never had such a experience. I never thought that someone would do that. I dont want to put his name but he know who he is. Great heart and great experience. Thank you so much.

Went in for an alignment and before charging me for the service, they told me what I should have done before having it done in order for it to be done right! Most shops wont even care and just do it and eventually it will still have issues. Very professional and very informative!

I go to this Sears whenever I get SYWR and it has good prices and a nice selection. One of the few department stores left. I hope that they stay in business.
