Love my neighborhood range! As a new firearm owner I was recommended to Caswells. The staff were super helpful and made me feel comfortable being a newbie at the range. One of the older gentleman even helped me get better grouping immediately by adjusting my grip. I now train here on a weekly basis and plan on taking private lessons. Keep up the great work 😁

I had a great experience today at the range thanks to Joe and I wanted to share about it. He went way above and beyond his normal job requirement to help me out. He not only helped me set up new sights on a rifle, but he helped me fix a malfunctioning trigger pin, which typically would have ended my day early, sending me home frustrated. He turned what could have been a bad day, into a great experience. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and I am very grateful for his help. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. I am a beginner shooter, but this place helped us feel comfortable with the guns. The workers really care about their customers and helped us if any issues arise. They have memberships and great prices for women. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to learn, grow, or tone any current skills. They also offer different targets with zombies, characters, and even just targets. I definitely will come again!

I have shot at Caswells over the years,--- many years! Always a friendly staff, safe place to shoot, sometimes really quick to get in on a walk in! Today I brought this revolver in and the gunsmith was able to look at the sights for me and make some adjustments. Anyway, to sum it up, it is a great place to learn and be safe when target practising!!!!

Another company price gouging the very ppl, that supports Caswells. looking forward to the future and they have to go back to selling ammo at a reasonable price. until then the will keep price gouging those of us that support your gun club. Thanks A-holes

Friendly helpful staff, Ive been there twice to use the range and had a good time. Their prices are competitive with other places for ammo and supplies.Just remember to call in advance to reserve a lane, it just takes the guess work out so youll know for sure you will have a spot to shoot.

I am from Mexico it is a problem to rent a gun and have a nice time months ago it was not a problem in utha but I do not know the rules of this establishment or the state it dont have american ID

We took our 9yr old son to Caswells for his first gun range experience and it was incredible. Rick Diab went above and beyond to help us and teach our son. We are so grateful for Rick, his kindness, knowledge and teaching gave our son the most unforgettable time! Thank you so much to Rick and Caswells. We will definitely be frequent visitors to Caswells and to Rick as our instructor. I cant express enough gratitude!!

Range is very small and tight, makes even two people awkward to fit in, and no space to stage anything. Works ok if youre one person with one pistol and nothing else. Staff is sometimes ok, sometimes very rude. On site gunsmith isnt very helpful either. Have been a few times and always walk away feeling unwelcome and disappointed. Finally had enough, Im not going back.

Been going here since I was a teenager, one of the best ranges in the valley for sure. They have a lot of rental options for new shooters or if youre just curious about a different cartridge or whatever. The staff are always top notch and theyll get you taken care of.

Great safe place to shoot indoors, which is much needed in the hot summers here! Have ammo and gear plus you can buy supplies like targets on site. Cool thing is they also have rentals of guns just in case you want to try something new.

Horrible! Horrible!!Made reservation and had to cancel. Its been more than three months now, called severally, written several emails. All to no avail.

I had the worst experience !the lady at the front was very rude it was our first time there and she was not helpfulShe chased us away due to reasons not known and we were paying It was a waste of money would not recommend.

This is a decent enough place that is nearby to a lot of people to fire off some ammo for fun, but thats about all they have going for them. They have no place to stand in line, no signs, no obvious check-in/cash register counter, and 5 people walking around behind the counter doing nothing to help the 15 confused customers standing around in the store waiting to be acknowledged. I took a P100 basic course here and the instructor was knowledgeable and it was a good course, they do seem like good people, just a lot to be desired from the AC on the range, the customer services, and how long it takes to get in/out.

My husband and I redeemed a Groupon at Caswell’s today and the staff was welcoming, kind and helpful. The store was well kept, staff walked around helping other clients and provided tips and suggestions until we were all set up to our liking. We are definitely planning on coming back.

This was a great first time gun buying experience. I have previously shot a handful of guns years ago but have never owned one myself. I worked with Joe and he was very patient and knowledgeable the entire time. I looked at several guns and he was thorough with each one. Joe was able to calm my nervousness and he really made my buying experience as easy as possible.

I went to Caswells total of three times. Each time to rent a firearm and test it on the range so I may make an educated purchase so I know which weapon is right for me. This third and final time I was met with resistance via policy. I was told that I could not rent a firearm because I did not own a firearm and I was not accompanied with somebody who did. Now the first time I came I did meet that requirement but the second time it was me and my friend and neither of us had guns. Then while unprompted it was explained to me that this was a suicide prevention policy now the manner in which it was explained to me,I found this very peculiar because again it was unprompted and the odd detail ofdespecially when they take public transportation(as I drove my car there)now I took this as an implication towards myself should I have perhaps not but it again seemed strange. After a brief argument I asked to see the manager and as I was explaining the situation to the manager the same man that had to help me initially continued to make comments on the other side of the room as though he was some preteen girl. I found the situation wholey unprofessional, reductive to educaurchases of a very dangerotool. I more so it is disturbing that they failed to enforce their own policies because it was busy( my assumption why I was able to rent the second time with no issue) which to me only displays laziness and or poor employee training which you dont want at a gun store. I cannot recommend this place.

Great place to go and blow off some steam. Even if it’s your first time. Staff is very relaxed and will answer all of your questions. I visited this place with my brother and we thought we were going to be there for about 20. Quick in and out, but no! We kept trying different fire arms from pistols to Ars to shootguns. You name it they have it and let you use it. We had a blast. I highly recommend this place! Even for first timers.

They are not very professional after I was done checking my gun and everything fat guy not sure if hes British or Australian but he got ptsd telling me how I made him feel uncomfortable and was waving the gun I didnt do that I was just checking the gun carefully and I was filming I didnt want to start an argument so I just paid wait for him to give me my gun and target and left That range wont get business from me again 👎🏻

I have said it before, I say it again; this place is excellent. My company was looking for something fun to do and also to do a team building activity to boost moral and team unity. We thought Caswells would be a good place to do it and I am super grateful we did. The manager, Bridger, was excellent and totally accommodating. The prices were the best in the valley and the hospitality was superb. He took care of everything for us. Including getting the food for us after we shot several guns including a fully automatic rifle. They provided the classroom in the back so we could give sales trainings and speeches while we ate our food. Their staff was friendly and felt like friends while we were there shooting all their guns. They let us choose our firearms and shoot for a long time! They also provided a short training at the beginning for the new guys who had never shot before. They provided all the equipment, etc. again, it was excellent and I highly recommend using this establishment if you are looking for a wonderful team activity! We had a total blast! Thanks Bridger!

I appreciate the all staff members at this establishment very much. Thank you all for your outstanding manner and your patience. One day everyone and their mom decided to get a gun in one single afternoon.The entire sales floor was flooded with novice gun buyers and shooters using the range. They were very thorough, helpful, and informative to everyone. The staff endured the constant barrage of back to back transactions. They worked calmly through all the sales while maintaining professional bearing and kindness. I hold it to high regard that the owner himself took time to let me do a walk in for a FFL transfer so that I could get the tool I needed for my personal protection despite the staggering amount of traffic. I find it very admirable that the staff’s customer service didn’t suffer considering the high level of customers and the stressful work day. Thanks again to the staff here for providing everyone and their mom with their second amendment needs.

20 minute wait with 5 employees standing around and a total of 3 customers in the joint. This place is run like a 80’s strip club, nobody knows what the hell is going on. Better off driving 20 minutes north to Scottsdale Gun Club.

Cheaper than I expected for range time and rentals. Not sure about ammo prices for their rental guns, that might be where they get you. Their prices for firearms and accessories are also a bit inflated. I found the staff to be knowledgeable, professional, and friendly enough once you could get their attention on a very very busy day.... if you are mostly concerned about prices for firearms you should look elsewhere. Looking for a an indoor range in the east valley? They are a great option.

Owner is a piece of work and staff are nice but clueless. I was in contact with the owner and did nothing. Dont believe all these comments where he wants to make it right. Take your business somewhere else.

Went shooting in a small group and pre-reserved. Got in with no problems and friendly staff. Their was not enough room for multiple people if each have long guns. Was incredible hot when shooting, but near the entrance/exit it was cooler.If they had a place to hold long guns when not in use it would help immensely.

Great place to shoot. Came for some private lessons, cant say enough good things about Rick Diab. Great instructor with the best interest of his students in mind. Couple reasons it looses a star is due to the limited selection of rental firearms and range could use a little updating.

After waiting almost 2 hours I was finally able to share a lane with a friend. When my friend finished a couple rounds he stepped back and put his pistol in his bag. At this time a very unhinged man came in screaming and cursing at us. No explanation why and very nerve wrecking. Extremely unprofessional. It happened a 2nd time and the man was trying to explain (poorly )that theres a rule restricting firearms behind a red line on the floor. We left and will never come back. Screaming and cursing is not how you explain rules that should be posted on a wall or explained beforehand. Never again. My friend did nothing wrong and wasnt being unsafe in any way.

Everyone there has always been very helpful and friendly, from purchases to private lessons to classes. We always look forward to going here. Highly recommend.

This is simply a great indoor shooting range. The staff has friendly and helpful, and they will let you shoot a .30-06 on the rifle range. If you are new to shooting, this would be a great place to get started.

I brought my two daughters with me on this visit. I reserved a lane online and it was another smooth excellent event. They both enjoyed themselves. I also picked up a Ruger 10/22 Takedown. I want to thank the entire store staff for their help in tracking down a magazine I had misplaced. I especially wanted to thank James for his professionalism. The staff is angry and wear enough body armor and bullets that they look like they just got out of a little tiny swat van for very small tasks with little responsibility. I was there with my little brother and I was approached by one who was angry that the painted words on ground were not legible immediately. Then when I went to ask a question the told me to get back in the range and that you dont have a question. this was right after they told be to come ask them if I had any questions. I did like the girl behind the counter. She was actually nice and tried to answer my question wherein another employee told her not to. She could do so much better.

Staff is very knowledgeable and just Great group of people. Joe was especially patient with my many questions learning how to shoot my first firearm. I highly recommend them.

My son and I decided we wanted to go shooting indoors and we didn’t want to deal with the crowds at the other facilities, this place was great. The service was awesome. The lanes are great, the gal helping me was very accommodating and we had an awesome time. Price is good as well.

If you want a hometown feel come here. My husband and I were new to town and looking for a place to become familiar with shooting a handgun. The staff were super welcoming. We have been back several times and feel like were visiting with friends. Always feel appreciated. Awesome place.

Went in looking for a front sight removal tool for my Glock. The store rep looked at me, asked if I was the one changing the sight and then snickered and said, Really? No you cant do that. He walked away when I asked why and didnt give an answer. He just told me I should come back when the gun smith was in and pay $20 for HIM to do it. I said forget it and went to Sportsmans instead. Got the tool home and had everything swapped out (front and back sights) in less than 5 minutes. FYI all that is needed to remove the front sight is to loosen a small hex screw. Somehow this guy didnt think a lady was capable of such skilled work. I could do this in high heels and a mini skirt in the dark. The only reason I came was because I misplaced the tool I needed. Thanks for letting me know where not to shop!

Sunday Morning I get there at 1030am just a half hour after they opened and after I give my ID to be placed on the list I watched over 20 different people get into the range before me. Finally after waiting calmly till 1:00 pm finally I told the guys at the counter I was over it and I just wanted them to give me my ID back. I waited for over 2.5 hrs and my ID wasnt even the next one up. I watched as lanes sat open and the workers there just seemed to be in no type of hurry up gear. I had been planning on signing up for a membership after having visited there 3 or 4 times prior to this but this day threw that idea 100% out the door. At this point im not planning to visit this place again for the time being Ill be going out of my way to shoot somewhere else. I could see if I was there later but literally getting there 30 min after open and still never getting in is 100% not okay. 2+ hours is not at all what anyone could see as good business.

Came here as a first time range shooter and they could not have been more accommodating. Even when I had issues with my own gun jamming the staff went above and beyond. Excellent experience and I look forward to returning. Also extremely fair pricing.

I love this range! Ive been here twice now and had great experiences both times. Safe environment and knowledgeable staff, decent priced ammo if you run out and a solid selection of firearms for sale. Depending on the day, you usually can grab a lane pretty quickly.

We came here several times, but their range master is kind of a d*ck, so were going to find somewhere else to shoot. I understand you have to treat everyone as if theyre brand new, but you dont have to be condescending and treat people like theyre idiots. The very first visit, I got yelled at for my ears, but my husband didnt...even though he was wearing the same kind as me. I was wearing them, theyre just professional in-ear plugs and he couldnt see them. Another time I was there, I grabbed my revolver, with the cylinder open, instead of carrying it in the case up to between the barriers like I usually do. OK, I admit I made a mistake, but I dont know why he felt the need to make a speech about how we cant have people walking around with guns out like I was some kind of dingdong walking around waving it around. I had turned around, grabbed it out of the case on the floor, and stood back up. All he had to do was tap me on the shoulder and say, Hey, make sure you take your case up to the shelf with you. After I said, OK, sorry!“ He said it again! In addition to his commentary, he also felt he had to call my husband over and talk to him about it, too. After these 2 incidents so close together, Im just going to find another range even if they dont have Ladies Day.From a business stand point, I found their prices on ammo to be a lot higher than other places. The girls at the counter are awesome. I will miss them.

Pretty affordable. Tons of targets from the very basic to predators and zombies. The staff was super friendly and they allow minors with adult supervision.

Its a small place but the people are friendly. It can be a bit understaffed at times, but shooting for 15 bucks with some AC and not having to stand outside is not bad. If your rent a firearm youll need to purchase their ammo which is isnt crazy overpriced. Dont do anything stupid and listen to the range officer and youll have a good time.

I shoot here. Lately it seems like they are more interested in talking to each other behind the counter then talking to a customer. Well I guess Ill spend my money somewhere else.

No where on their site does it shows no new shooters 10 min before 7. Show up to test my weapon I bought from them and turned away would have taken 15 min but big man at counter doesnt even ask anything just blurts out. I guess I need to find a better range .

First time shooting at this range, the staff at the front counter were helpful and kind. They had a nice selection of firearms to rent and try out. I thought the price on the rentals was very reasonable. The staff memver in the actual shooting range was very helpful too.

I have been to Caswells several times. I have always gotten good customer service. They even remind you ladies night to save you money. Its a basic no frills shooting range. My only down size of the place is how hot it gets in there. The air works fine in the other part of the building but doesnt seem to even have a swamp cooler for the range part.

Had a great time running my pistols yesterday. The comments on here about them being racist are completely wrong as my girlfriend is African American and we didnt get any trouble. Its simple, follow the rules and youll be fine. Thanks to all the staff!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Please note that I have never gone this far out of my way to write a negative review for ANY company before but the owner of this place is awful. I purchased from their online store and three weeks later was informed he accidentally sold my purchase to someone else. Then he writes negative feedback for me as a buyer even after I send him all the screenshots of the emails I was sending him that he never replied to.

Went there and had a fantastic time. Very knowledgeable instructors and also the staff is laid back and willing to answer any question you have. Incredibly clean and very professional while also having a genuinely warm and inviting atmosphere. Fantastic gun store/range and I will be returning soon.

I went in there to receive a gun that I had originally shipped to Buds guns for a trade. Buds turned down my trade. I wanted a short Barrell .357. Derrick took care of me and offered me a fair deal on my trade, I ended up trading for a Windicator revolver. Its an awesome gun and I absolutely love it. Derrick and the gentleman with the British accent were awesome ! Salesman in gun stores can be very abrasive at times but these two gentleman made me feel at home. Thanks guys for helping me, I will be coming back !

As a visitor to the US I went to these guys for pistol training. The front line staff and training officer were very helpful and supportive for me being first time shooter. Generally a good place to learn, the only issue is that the range look and feel could be improved. It looks a bit old and worn out.

Ive been here twice, had a great time. Range is a no-frills, they got all you need. Two blond ladies at the console were very personable. Never had to wait for lane, Im sure on the weekends its packed.

If your renting range time they can sell you ammo 👍

Came here to try out my new handgun. Im a first timer as well. First visit was on a weekend and the place had an extensive wait. I opted to come back, came back during the week and had a nice experience. Its not an intimidating atmosphere at all. The people upfront were nice enough, and the gentleman in the firing range was cool. I really appreciated the pointers he gave me. I would not hesitate to go back.

Went in today to purchase a glock 43x I talked to one of the front desk ladies who showed me the gun. I asked her if they price match glockmeister she said yes if I could show her the price which is $448 at glockmeister and $468 here not a big price difference but when I wanted to buy the gun she said let me grab the other lady who handles gun sales. I said ok when she came over she rudely said “ we don’t price match especially during this times” which I thought was very rude because the lady before said they price match. Needless to say i didn’t buy the gun due to her attitude. I get it’s only $20 difference but don’t tell me one thing and do the next. It was my first time there and definitely won’t be back because of the customer service.

The staff is knowledgeable and are very helpful even with shooting advice. The range is clean, lighting is good and the sound seemed less than on other ranges Ive been too I think because there is a high ceiling in the shooting areas (openings that take the more sound). The lanes have computerized controls which I thought was really cool. They also have a sales area and a locksmith. The locksmith was very kind. He looked at one of my guns and made an adjustment at no charge. (you know many will charge for anything minimal that they do on the guns). Excellent place. They also have Ladies day and online store. I highly recommend it.

I like Caswells, take my sons and friends here to shoot and the staff are always nice. My youngest at 16 had his birthday so the owner brought his AR15 out fir him to shoot... Didnt charge me as he said it was a birthday present, we always have fun there...Safe and clean and reasonably priced...Dino

I have been coming to Caswells for a number of years. I own and number of weapons, including many class 3 weapons. I also do all my transfers through Caswells. If I do purchase a gun online, I always have it sent to Caswells. Theyre efficient, and affordable for transfers. Of course, I try to buy any weapons that I need from them first. The staff is accommodating and knowledgeable, and its just a great place to shoot.

The staff at Caswell’s is professional and sensitive. The instructors are well trained and amazing to work with. I went in for the first time having never even seen a gun up close and very nervous about the experience. They were patient with me as I worked through my nerves (I even teared up a few times) and answered every question I had. Not once was anyone condescending or dismissive. I am very grateful for their help and kindness.

Truly a fantastic establishment! I went in to see what I may be Interested in, In the near future. Craig stayed with ne for over an hour going though a multitude of firearms, walking me through all of them, answering all of my questions, joked with me, and made me very welcome. As well as the young lady of who was behind the rental counter was exceedingly kind, helpful, happy to joke, share stories, and provide an over all excellent experience. They will maintain my business for a long time to come.

Im only posting three stars only because I havent physically visited the range. But if all the different range websites I have recently navigated this on was the easiest and most comprehensive. My wife and I are looking to purchase our first fire arm and I have a feeling based on all the information available to us on this site alone that Caswells will earn this business. I cant wait to schedule our first shooting lane reservation!

Nice and chilly inside, nice staff, great prices on the range! I go every sunday that i can. And will continue to do so. I recommend anyone who is in the area to try the range out. I would like to try out some of the courses they offer. They also have a really nice selection on firearms and non lethal and other products inside the shop.

Old range, A/C always has problems so it might be hot while you are shooting. Rental fleet is very limited. Nothing new for the last 5 years. People are nice. Range equiptment has issues fairly often. C2 in Tempe is much better. But for me the Mesa location is close. Still it is good to get range time during the summer when you cannot go outdoors.

I got my rifle merit badge here years ago great people. They even helped my wife with her first time shooting 3 months ago. I love this place. Highly recommend for new shooters to learn gun safety as well as target practice. I visit at least once a month.

My mom and I are beginners and we went there for a private lesson with Craig. He was super nice and didnt make us feel stupid for not knowing anything. He answered all of our questions and was very patient with us. We spent two hours with him, practicing our shot and asking a million questions on compact pistols. Very pleased with their customer service. Will definitely be returning.

This place is wonderful! I have made purchases here without feeling obligated or pressured. The range part is really nice, as well. However, the best part is the management. They are very generous and wonderful to our military!

This range is great. The staff is excellent and take the time to show you things about your firearm. Ive probably been in 8-10 times and have never had a bad experience. I also purchased a firearm online and was able to use them to finish the FFL transaction without incident. Love this place!

Went there for the first time this Friday at noon to target practice. From the reviews I was expecting to be spit in the face upon entering. Nope. Great experience. Went in and rented a lane and had good customer service at the counter. Range Masters were cool dudes. Talked to them between firing. Even had one of the employees shoot my gun for fun. Will definately be going here in the future.
