Do not ever buy a car from this dealership. I bought a car from them on Saturday and on Tuesday it started having problems with the shifter locking up. I contacted their warranty company who told me to find a in network mechanic so I did. After being told by multiple mechanics in my area they were at least 2 months behind I contacted wrench a mobile mechanic service which is amazing people there BTW, but anyway they came out and diagnosed the problem as the alternator was messing up and needed to be replaced but the car was still OK to drive until they got approval to do the job. So I took my family out to pay bills and the alternator went out and left me stranded in a parking lot. I called the warranty company silver rock and they told me they would reimburse me $75 to have the car towed to me house when the tow costed $235 mind you I had the car 6 days. When I called silver rock and drivetime I was told they only would reimburse the 75 and absolutely no more so now Im out $160 for a car I overpaid more than $7000 according to Kelly blue book and drivetime only tells me I can return it if I havent put more than 300 miles on it when its almost 200 miles from their dealership to my home. Like I said and I will repeat do not ever buy a car from drivetime period

A recruiter reached out after I applied to a job here and had me book a time with her to set up an interview.The recruiter never showed up to the Zoom meeting, never followed up, and 2 weeks later I got a generic email saying they had found other good candidates.Why would anyone want to work for a company with a complete lack of respect from potential candidates?

So I called this company for over a year and half. Ive had everything so wrong with my car. They keep telling me to take it in when I have problems with it and to see what they can do. I asked them to give me a different vehicle that works!. They told me no and that Im stuck with it. Also that I should know what to expect when buying a used car. That pissed me off the most. They wonder why I start yelling at them. You dont say that to a customer. The warranty company they have provided is worthless unless ur transmission goes out. Ive had my transmission go out twice on mine. Worst company ever. They say help out with people in need of a good car. They lied!

Had this car for 7 days, and it feels like my back passager tire is going to fly off. I called everyone is so friendly( minus customer relations guy.) and nice to tell me they cant help me. At first I just wanted the car fixed. Then after dealing with them I just wanted a refund. Cant get a refund after 5 days. Sounds like Matildas dad policy. This vehicle is to dangerous to drive. I know its a used car dealership, but its no hole in the wall dealership. We must wait til the diagnosis before we can help you. Understandable, so how do I get to work? Had I read these reviews I would have shopped elsewhere. I finally got my dream car,but its a 🍋

BUYER BEWARE! The only reason I gave a 1 star rating was because no stars was an option. I as well as those who had to assist me will share details of how I was sold a car that literally smoked on the 4th day following our purchase with myself and infant stranded. Adding insult to injury, it took nearly 3 weeks for them to refund my banking institution! Will update on the rest and worst part of it after corporate returns my call. I try to find my best in and everything BUT this company/location has been one of the worst experiences when making a home/car purchase. It was a wonderful work environment very simple and down to earth choices for design and build. All of the employees looked happy and present to their work. The level of service and hospitality was off the charts. A fabulous company. Thank you all for your continued support of the Human Services Campus that supports adults experiencing homelessness with the tools they need to end their situation and regain Independence with dignity.

This does not deserve the one star rating at all!!!!I will never recommend Drive Time to anyone! I have had nothing but problems ever since I got the car back in October 2015. While going through the process to get the car, Drive time seemed like good people to deal with. I received the car and I was very happy, being this is my first car and all. However, the honeymoon quickly ended 2 months later when I was told the rear shocks on the car were bad and needed to be replaced. The bad shocks caused an uneven wear on my rear tires. I had only had the car for a short time, so the shocks were obviously bad when it was sold to me. My mechanic told me that the shocks were the original shocks that came on the car. When I called Drive Time about the issue, all they could do was defer a car payment so I could get the problem fixed, since it was not covered under warranty. However, they DID NOT inform me that this was the only time I was allowed to defer a car payment and that I wouldnt be able to do that again. I had called to try to get another payment deferred so I could replace the bad tires since it wasnt my fault the tires were bad. They tried to set me up on some payment plan that was going to take my payments up by $100.Whenever I call the dealership in Concord, NC to ask a question or anything, They are always rude and seem like they do not have the time to be bothered. I went in to request a copy of a paper that was in my file, after waiting for about 5 minutes, I was told that they purge their files after 6 months and that corporate has all the paperwork. I asked if I could call corporate and get a copy of what I needed. I was told I dont know, you will just have to call them and find out yourself. I then informed them that my key had recently broke (That morning) while at a car wash and the guy looked at me and replied well thats unfortunate and kind of rolled his eyes. I was so upset that I just left. I called back today and talked to the salesman that I dealt with and asked if there was a spare key, since I wasnt given one at the time of purchase. He was real short and just said No there is no spare key and he was silent. He said nothing more so I just hung up.I do not appreciate the attitude that I get every time I call or go to the dealership. I do not appreciate paying for a warranty that does not cover anything. I do not appreciate being sold a car that had issues that I was not informed about. Mostly I do not appreciate being made a fool of and being taken advantage of. Drive Time should be ashamed of the customer service that they provide and they should be ashamed because their commercials are misleading and subject us all too false advertisement.

I spoke with someone in customer relations today because I had some questions before I spend my hard earned money with a company...needless to say he sounded clueless regarding their COVID restrictions. Now that I see these horrible reviews, I will be shopping elsewhere. Companies like this always try to take care of hard working people down on their luck and give the same sorry 1-800 number and solve absolutely nothing!

I had a great experience with drive time customer relations the agent that helped me was Jen i had a issue with my car that i just got 3 weeks ago and it was something that would not have been covered in the warranty due to normal wear and tear policy but i called them up explained my concern and they fixed my car right away the same day i am great full cause now i have my dream car thanks Jen and the whole staff that helped me. keep up the good work

A few months ago I bought a 2012 Dodge Caravan. I put a down payment of 2000.00 and Johnny Williams was able to help me get my payments to a reasonable amount that I can afford. He told me that the vehicle was in Orlando and that they would have it at the store the next day. I stopped by the store about 20 minutes before closing because I had a very busy work day. Clay B. Scheitzach had told me I needed to fill out even more paperwork. He told me that the paperwork is what we had went over the previous day to just sign and initial real quick. About a week later, Im about to make my first car payment and to my suprise my payments are out of my budget and not what we discussed the first time, not even close. Fast forward about 3 months later my family and I decide to make a road trip to California. Before the trip we make sure the vehicle is 100% safe to make the trip. 2 days after we get to California the transmission goes out on my van that has only 80,000 miles on it. The insurance they recommended us (Wind helm) told me that they dont cover towing and if the issue isnt related to the transmission that I would have to cover the diagnostic and repairs even though im paying for the extended warranty, gap coverage and full coverage. This dealership is a very bad company. There intentions are to make a quick buck and they dont care about their customers. Avoid the headaches me and my family had to go through with this scam money hungry company. Theyre liars, theyre cheaters and I wouldnt recommend this company to my worst enemy, God bless.

I bought a 2016 Ford Taurus with 30,000 mils. last Aug. It was in the shop in Dec. having a fuel pump and fuel Mod replaced. It has had 5 fuel pumps and fuel mods replaced since then. It was in the shop 4 weeks ago having them replaced again and is in the shop as we speak having them replaced again. Ive called customer relations over and over again only to hear we cant and wont do anything about it. They wont stand behind anything. Ill never buy anything from Drive time ever again. This is my second car from them, Never had a problem until now. I love the car and havent had any other problems with it. I just wish they would stand behind this problem.

Just purchased my 2nd car from Drive time. The first time was a great experience which is why we went back. Found a car that i wanted at a different location, the were more than happy to have the car brought down to my closest location. However when I went to pick up the car, the Bluetooth did not work. they made me go to different chevy dealerships to find out if it was fixable (it is not) they are making no effort to find me another car that I want even from another location. The manager gave me some POS aftermarket bluetooth device that was his personally, but it is like a 5 step process to answer or make a phone call. I am one very mad customer and they dont care to make it right.

This company committed fraud against me. I was told in order to get a car I had to sign up for a warranty package that cost $5,285 and required a 70 month repayment at $433.48. However I was told that if I cancelled the warranty within 30 days my loan would then revert to 42 months at a payment of $431.61. I cancelled and they are still holding me to a 70 month contract. This business is supposed to help people that have a hard time getting auto loans instead they exploit us and commit fraud!

They must buy all their five star ratings. these people are nothing but crooks. they approve anybody so they can charge them up the ass in interest rates. Ended up paying $30,000 for a car that was worth $8,000. customer service is horrible and warranties arent worth nothing had to replace literally everything in the car out of pocket. Its a shame the Better Business Bureau doesnt investigate in them I strongly suggest nobody get a car from them unless you want to be robbed by crooks. Also I forgot to mention the car was an HHR Chevy that had two known recalls but still was so to us. there were label as high risk for car crashes. thats shady company policies to allow cars to be sold with known recalls.

I purchased a 2015 Nissan Altima on 06/19/2018, and on 07/13/2018, I noticed issues with the transmission.I was still within the 30-day, 1500 mile warranty, and took the car to one of their network providers, only to be told I would they dont really deal with transmissions.I decided to take the car to a Nissan service department, and spend my own money to find out that the transmission needed to be replaced!I was still within warranty, and purchased the extended warranty. Its been almost a week, and I have no car, no car rental, and I have been passed around from one representative to the next!This has been a horrible experience! Buyers beware, once you leave the lot, no one really cares! Investigative news...I have a story for you!

Nobody is ever able to help us, maybe they can help my lawyer. We haven’t had the car for 3 weeks and it spent 2.5 weeks In the shop only for it to break down again and everybody keeps saying “I’m sorry we can’t help you”, what kind of company is this? We are here to pay you for a vehicle that doesn’t work? What part of drive time or silver rock or bridgecrest actually cares?, cause what I got so far is nothing but a contract for a car that’s been non driveable since day 2! I would not recommend this place. It’s so distasteful to do business this way when people have families to take care of. My lawyer will definitely be In touch

Great for financing with Bad Credit, I guess thats why they sold me a car that stayed at the network repair shop 95% of the time, while still making payments. Finally after months, when repairs start being to costly, a decision was made to cut all tires and refund my down payment. Great Right! Guest what? Drive Time (Glen Burnie) gave me a receipt stating that the deposit been refund back to my debit card. Still No. Refund. Why act like you gave me a refund and dont ( Something Fishy). This was the worst experience ever. I suggest to people with bead credit go, because theyll approve anyone. Just be mindful that you are dealing with CROOKS.

Bought a car at Drivetime ten years ago, four years ago was able to Upgrade due to Champ Program (preferred customer). They have done away with this and just want to rob you blind. I dont know if this happened when they sold financing to Bridgcrest or not but VERY disappointed. Also their ability to have a car on lot even after confirming in the morning it would be on site is beyond their ability. Can they tell you if you are able to get car? Nope, they just say you are preapproved and then want you to show up to sell you WHATEVER they can to make a sale. My car worth five hundred dollars more than the new tires I put in it according to them and they want it paid off PLUS $500 down to do an Upgrade now. No wonder Off Lease Only and other Orlando companies are helping put this place out of business. DO NOT SHOP AT DRIVETIME.

Check engine light appeared about 5 hours ago. Not sure how long they had this vehicle. But it seems to have some sort of transmission problems. On top of that, they lost the keys the day we were ready to finalize paperwork. Last but not least, you can tell the salesman were very fake and rude. Lied to my father over and over about the wait time. He faxed over verification paperwork an hour and a half prior to his visit and still had to wait approximately 5 hours and hes a veteran. Just wasnt positive or professional to me.

Do not do business with this company please you will regret it. I purchased a vehicle from this company and they Marked up the vehicle three times more than it was worth they also tacked on a high interest causing this to be an upside down long that cannot be re-finance. They also lied by adding on additional products i never agreed to. I worked with your customer relations department and they are also unhelpful and miss leading liars. This is the worst company to do business with and I am more than angry at what this company has done and continues to do to hard working Americans. This company needs to be shut down immediately.

So... where do I begin. The manager at this location has no integrity. He straight up lied to my face and told me that the vehicle that I came there to purchase was already sold when it wasn’t . How do I know? I called the dealership it was located at and they confirmed it was still there. They will try to put you in something that you do not want. They tried to put me in 3 or 4 different cars. I drove them all and came back in and asked what would it take for me to get into the 2018 GMC Terrain? I wasn’t given a total for the down payment I was just told it was sold already . Like oh well now you have to pick out of one of the vehicles I showed you. Well that didn’t set well with me. Y’all beware. They will do a bait and switch. I totally understand that this vehicle would have required a little more down payment. Bottom line just don’t lie to me. I am not stupid.

Drivetime deserves negative stars with the cars they push off on people that have been inspected. Their inspection is a joke, I was suckered back in by the supposed CHAMP program. After my first experience I was going to go back. I didnt need Drivetime like others do because they cant get a car, I returned believing what they say the offer in the program. I know I bought a used car, but since 2001, I have bought at least a dozen used cars and both purchases from Drivetime have been horrible, during the sale they are great once youve signed the wash their hands of you. My car I purchased 19 days ago literally started falling a part while driving and their solution, leaves me without a car for weeks. They say theyll reimburse for rental, for an economy car that does not fit my familys needs, but I have to pay for it first and make the car payment and had to replace the tires on day 5 because I had 220 miles on the car since they were closed and I had to drive it to work so I went over the 150 miles to return it. Out $770 for the tires already and they still want me to shell out more money. Currently I can only pray the car holds together as it is a safety is issue for me and everyone on the road, but I cant be without a car any longer. I was already without it for 7 days and who knows exactly how long Id be without if I wait for their approved facilities to complete the work. Dont let their friendly salesman fool you, once you sign youre not their problem anymore and the customer relations department is just as big of a joke.

If I could give them a lower star I would. This company is completely slimy and if they have your debit card they will run it whenever they like for however much amount they want. I had an agreement with them and I decided to pay more and earlier because I had gotten new payment details.Instead of removing the previous scheduled payments because I deiced to pay early with a new card, they still charged the payment anyway causing me to be late on other bills. They unlawfully, and without my permission to charge my account hundreds of dollars after I already paid them hundreds of dollars. The worst part about this tale is that it is not the first time they have done this to me.I also had full coverage insurance for months and they continued to charge me CPP coverage because they did not have my declaration information after I had already sent it to them numerous times. So they essentially over charged me for months for no reason because I had full coverage insurance.If you HAVE to use this company I recommend you NEVER give them your card information or any direct access to your money because they will take it and run it whenever they want.WORST COMPANY EVER SAVE YOURSELF AND AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM!

I agree i wish they had zero stars because it fits them well. I purchased dream car a beautiful Chrysler 200 from Drive Time. I needed a good reliable vehicle and I loved it until a little after 5 months the check engine light comes on. According to the mechanics the computer stopped communicating with the louvers in front of the engine and as the weather gets warmer my car will start to overheat. Over $1000 to fix it. According to drivetime it isnt a covered component so they wont help me fix it. I tried to call the corporate office and the automated system transfers me to customer relations. I got a woman on the phone who tells me because of high call volume I was transferred to them. When I asked how I can talk to the corporate office she said I had to keep trying to call and she hangs up on me. After reading the reviews on here I understand the high call volume i wish i would have read them before I went to drivetime. I thought about calling BBB but it doesnt apear that isnt doing any good either. I agree with others on here how can they do this to people. I can hardly afford the payments much less to pay over $1000 to fix the car this soon. I want to park it in thier lot and walk away. I wish I could afford a lawyer Im sure what they are doing isnt legal. Also, I am quite sure even if I purchased the extended warranty they would find some way around it so they didnt have to fix the lemon they sold. I am just so disappointed in them.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM DRIVE TIME. From day 1 we have had a slow leak in front tire. 2 different times to Pep Boys. To look for problem. 1st time replace fuse. 2nd time, I was told a plug in tire, Pep Boys told finance co. There was a nail in tire. Pay thousands for a car an a month later have to buy a new tire. Was told it is a used car. Horrible Place.

I am very disappointed, hurt and dissatisfied with the quality of the car I have purchased. I am a single mom of a son with specials needs who was sold a car that does not work properly and safely. I purchased a 2007 BMW 3 series from drivetime Katy freeway back in March 2016 and have been having issues ever since. The repairs are not covered by the warranty, I lost my previous job due to being late to work because I was staying stranded every morning, Ive fallen behind on payments and other bills. Yes you all modified 7 payments for me and I am very grateful but the car is still not working properly. I am struggling even more than I was before because Ive been trying to save for the repairs. I apologize for not being able to stay on top of the payments but am saddened that I was sold a car that had a part on it that had glue and tape on it. Im blessed to say that my son and I were not harmed or have been harmed in any way due to the unsafe conditions of this car. Im very disappointed with Drivetime. I even referred my brother to purchase a vehicle with you all. I believe this type of sale should be notified to the CEO/owner/s of drivetime. I am a Customer Service Officer where I work, this company has no idea what customer service is!I never dealt with a business that lies so much!I went to place $500.00 down to hold a car. I decided since it was Christmas time Id wait a couple weeks and purchase the vehicle on the 1st. I cancelled the hold to get my money back. Here it is 11 days later, still no refund!First I was lied to by a sales person Sierra, she says Ill have money back on card within 24 hours.Then she blames it on her Accounts Payable Department by THEM not physically doing it. Then they have me drive 22 miles each way to show them my bank information to prove it was never put back on my card.Come to find out they DONT EVEN REFUND that way, its done by a check. So the manager lies to me and says he was Fed Exed over night. Lies.I called the next day cause nobody there has the decency to call ME, the entire place lies.I WAS going to use that money for Christmas shopping for my kids. My mistake shopping for a car right before xmas, poor choice using Drivetime!Today Im calling BBBDO NOT BY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!On top of it all, I get a approved for a certain dollar amount, they give me 3 cars to choose from that I can afford the down payment. The ONE car I pick, they raise my approved amount down.Nice sales tactics!My advice is go right next door or across the street to the two closes car lots you will have better service. This company, manager an sales person should not be employed there, if I was the owner of Drivetime, I would have fired these two on the spot!

This company is wrong for selling and leasing a car to people with out of state licenses. I leased a car from this company and they gave me the required thirty days to get my license but being that i am out of state it took longer to get what i needed. When you are from another state you have to do things their way and it may take some time. The Drive Time people should have taken this into consideration. They are unable to give me a temporary tag because they claim they cant do that. The tag people at DMV cant because they have no information about the car at all in the system. They wont even give me a rental for inconveniencing me. Drive Time if you dont have a policy or procedure to follow for people with out of state licenses you shouldnt be making deals with them and then try to blame them for what is your fault. It is a good thing i leased the car because when i find me another one i will be returning this one because these people are all about the money and not trying to help their customers. They wont last someone will eventually sue the hell out of them. I will let you know when i do receive a tag and how long it will take them. So far it has been three months, I cant drive my car and i paid my payment and my insurance.

I bought a car from them off McKnight Rd. today and the sales manager assured me the car was looked over but after leaving with it the check engine light came on, i took it to a local shop . They showed me that the brakes were bad and the rotors were warped further more none of the front speakers work. I was also shown a car fax report saying there were no accidents .. After getting it out of the rain you could tell the whole front clip was repainted.There was also a big tear in the front seat that they glued closed. After riding in it a few times it came apart and glue crumbs were every where.. Thanks Timothy Issac and crew... Okay its 6 days into me having this car and the shop that silver rock referred me to did a check on why the engime light is on... 57! Codes came up on their machine.. When i called and talked to drive time they wouldnt take the car back and neither silver rock or drive time has offered me a rental

I went online submitted my information to acquire my down payment and I was informed that the down payment doesnt apply to all vehicles. Each vehicle you choose has an adjusted down payment, but I was told otherwise.Whats the point in figuring your down payment if it doesnt apply to your choice of purchase.

This place is a total ripoff. I purchase a car from them and 3 days later I started having problems. Most of their cars have been involved in a collisions at least one per car. They are overly priced. Drive time preys on people with bad credit and have nowhere else to turn. Thank goodness I ended up only paying 5,000 too much for my car which could have been even worst. The bad side of this is I paid nothing but interest for 10 months and thats the 5, 000 and something Im out of. I was able to refinance today thank God for that. People do not go to drive time their cars are headaches and the prices along with the interest rate is so inflated. Try everything possible to get financing somewhere eles. Its one thing to pay extra for the price of having bad credit but to pay it for a car that has major problems is ridiculous. This is my opinion only but the cars are horrible. So, I am changing my rating that I initially gave DriveTime. I am very disappointed. I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent purchase from Drivetime in Jackson, MS. I have only had the car for 2 days and I have had to take it to two shops already. When you sign a contract for over $480 a month, you want EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING working. The radio goes on and off. When you hit a bump in the road it goes off as well. When I start up the car there is a loud pop under the dash. So, I called the dealership and I was told to called Aeverex. Aeverex instructed me on Friday to take the car to Car Care Clinic on Robinson Road in Jackson, MS. Im not sure why this made sense being that they do not work on radios. Lets back up, I purchased the car on Thursday, I started having problems by Friday, car was taken to Car Care Clinic on Saturday. Now, after taking the car to Car Care Clinic we were then instructed to take the car to the nearest Acura Dealership. I then called Aeverex and told them about what I was told to do, they told me to go ahead and take the care to Acura of Jackson. Once getting to Acura of on Saturday 2/20/2016 I was told to leave the car because they have limited service specialist on the weekend. I purchased this car because I NEED TRANSPORTATION. I called Aeverex back to see what my options were. I was told to rent a car and they would reimburse me. I cannot and will not rent a car when I have only had the car two days at this point. I have paid you $1650.00 as a down payment, why does Drivetime or Aeverex think that I have additional money lying around to rent a car.Moving on.... so now my husband has to take the car to Acura of Jackson Monday morning with hopes that we can get the car back on Monday afternoon. WHAT AN INCONVENIENCE!!!!On 2/20/2016 a representative called me from Drivetime in Jackson, MS to congratulate me on my purchase. She wanted to know how was I enjoying my car. Well, I proceeded to tell her what was going on and she said that she would have a manager to call me back. Later, on the same day, the manager called. He asked to speak to Ms. Warren, twice, I told him twice that I was Mrs. Houston, then he apologizes and says is this Bianca, my name is Yolanda and I told him twice. So, once we got past that, I started to tell him about the issue with the car. He tells me that he tries to find the positive in any situation and that at least I am getting it taken care of in the first few days of purchase. BUT I AM BEING INCONVENIENCED!!!! What is positive about that????? He told me that his hands were tied and there is nothing that he could do but I could bring the car back since it is within the first 5 days. Dont you all think that is another inconvenience for me if I did that? He told me at least its not mechanical.How would he know if it is not mechanical or electrical? HE WHO IS NOT A MECHANIC!!!! HE WHO HAS NOT CHECKED MY CAR!!! Well, if you are about to pay over $480 dollars a month for a car do you not want everything to work when it is supposed to? I think anyone in their right mind would say yes!I am not satisfied with the customer service. I missed a half day of work to finalize the paperwork to get this car and I am expected to settle for just enough. So, we bought a 2005 dodge durango, didnt have our blue book, our 2nd mistake (first is walking on lot). 10,000 over highest blue book. we qualified at 20% interest, drove off the lot, car didnt make it 70 miles without starting to experience serious mechanical issue. by the time we got home car wouldnt stay running. then the run around, you have to have it back in 5 days, hope mechanic can get fixed by that time (of course it is close to weekend) if not, we have a strict 5 day return policy. we refused to get this lemon fixed, insisted they tow it back to their lot, refused to split tow bill, was told not to try to do business with them again and we havent as of yet gotten back our down payment (week and counting). wish i had looked at reviews first.

Please dont tell me to send information to you because I already have last week and still NOTHING- You dont even deserve 1 star but I can not give less-So my car drama started February 2016 where I decided I was going to buy one of my all-time favorite cars. A used Cadillac CTS4 in a navy (Yankee) blue. It was perfect..... until we got it home.....from day one we have had issues....every error code on the dashboard comes on- when theres bad weather -when it rains... it rains inside the car.... so much so that it pours water. the car smells like mildew and theres black mold growing ...yes you heard me right ....BLACK MOLD...... this car wont pass any inspection- Drivetime in Raleigh is where we purchased it from. When we first started having problems with the car the salesman Bob told us to take it to their mechanic and they would fix it at no charge. He even looked up the repair place gave us the address and told us to take it there....so we did.... guess what.... after the repair we get a big ole bill- the repair shop said they dont fix any drivetime warranties. Over a grand we had to pay. After that we went back to Drivetime in Raleigh to explain the situation and the sales man Bob begged us not to tell his boss because he screwed up and said he would get us onto an extended warranty no charge. Well that came and went every light on the dashboard has been lit up for year and a half... it rains inside my car we cant get the car inspected -weve had to fix it just keeps on happening this car is a total lemon. As a last resort we went yesterday to Drivetime in Raleigh asking them ...after having purchased 5 cars from them in the past if they could do what a good company would do and take care of us and get this problem dealt with... The manager told us that they would give us the highest value for the car plus they would eat $2500 and we would have to come out of pocket $2000 to get out of this car -which everyone agreed on last night and then we got a phone call this morning and everything changed and we had to come up with $4500. The manager at drivetime told us the best thing to do was call the 800 number. We were told to call them because his hands were tied. We were advised that the general managers boss would not take our phone call.So we called the 800 number- first Drivetime employee was nothing but extremely rude and nasty- we asked to speak to her manager and she said NO and told us to talk to the finance company and abruptly switched us over. We dont need them we need Drivetime.Call the 800 number again- got someone else - she was a little nicer and seemed to be concerned.... but not able to help us- understand this- not only is it extremely unhealthy for someone to breathe in black mold- I am also recovering from brain surgery 9 months ago- Im still recovering. I dont need to be breathing in toxic mold Drivetime!!... I am beyond ticked off, pissed and extremely disappointed in this company after having purchased 5 cars from you. Your lack of responsibility to the safety of your customers is so very horrifying. I would hope that after having to put this out there publicly.... Drivetime please do the right thing!!!

Drive Time Deserve O Stars!!!! On December 8, 2016 I purchased a 2014 Ford Fusion from Drive Time, 505 Eastern Bypass, Montgomery, AL 36117. I was observing a 2015 Ford Fusion, The manager brought to my attention the 2014 Ford Fusion and stated it was a great car that had just come in. Additionally it had less mileage and cost less. During test driving, the undercarriage was dragging the ground, I brought this to the saleswoman and store manager attention, and he assured me that I had made an excellent choice and he would thoroughly recheck the vehicle and replace the undercarriage cover.Three months later, March 2017 during a rain storm, the undercarriage begin to drag the ground again, and water poured through the light fixture via car roof. I contacted the Manager at Drive Time, and he directed me to Customer Service. Mark (Drive Time Representative), advise me to take automobile to Pep Boys on Eastern Bypass and have them send an estimate. During my visit to Pep Boys, I was informed that the undercarriage was not replaced, they do not handle body work and suggested I see an Auto Body Shop.After visiting several Auto Body Shops, I was warned that, the 2014 Ford Fusion I purchased in December 2016 was previously wrecked. I contacted Manager at Drive Time and was referred to Drive Time Customer Relations Department, the representative advised me to obtain and estimate from an Auto Body Shop.On 8/20/17 at the request of Jodi with Drive Time, I emailed pictures and estimate from Capitol Body Works totaling $7014.49. As of 9/5/2017 no response from Drive Time, I called and was informed that Jodi would call me back. On 9/6/2017 no response from Jodi. I contacted Drive Time Customer Relations again, after asking to speak and holding for Jodi 10 minutes or longer, another representative came on the line with a belligerent mannerism informing me that Drive Time would not fix my vehicle, unless I proved vehicle was wrecked before I purchased. The previous wreck does not appear on Carfax Report.After I filed a complaint with BBB and Alabama Attorney General’s office, Kayleigh with Drive Time Customer Care contacted me, and assured me that Drive Time wanted to work with me to come to a resolution that would make both parties happy. She instructed me to take automobile to MAACO and get another estimate, MAACO estimate was $4,306.85. On 10/10/17 Kaitlin call to inform me that Drive Time would not pay for cosmetic damages to my car, and the car did not present a hazard to drive, but they would pay for ½ of the price to fix damages, and they had called MAACO and negotiated a lower price. 1. Drive Time is asking me to pay ½ cost for damages to a car that was wrecked before I purchased. 2. Drive Time states the car does not present a hazard to operate, not once have they asked for a mechanical report, only a cosmetic report. 3. MAACO is known for cheap paint jobs and poor work quality.Drive Time Customer Relations Department is a BIG JOKE, it’s designed to make you think they care about their customers when actually they do not. Customer Relations Department gives you the run around, which prolong time, end result, you back at phase I.I wish to GOD, I had never walked on Drive Time Lot, and that I had read all these post of bad service before my experience. I have a very hard time dealing with the fact that I’m $30,000 in debt for a wrecked car that Drive Time sold me, and they do not want to take full responsibility of selling me a wrecked vehicle. Drive time sold me a lemon. 3 weeks after getting my car I had to get major work done to it several times and over $1,300 maintenance job and a day after after getting it fixed the same problem arose. Then a day later the alternator. went bad. Also the Ac doesnt work in my Honda CRV after taking it to pep boys 2 times! I have had to walk to work a couple of times. I would not recommend this car dealership to anyone until the company trade my car in and give me my worth. Im a very unsatisfied customer. I have called corporate about this problem so lets see how much they care about there cusomter. I just reviewed many bad reviews about this company and i called corporate. They deserve a ZERO rating. Their customer service is horrible!! Ive asked one of the representatives to transfer me to a manager. he puts me on hold and then comes back to say all of the managers are busy. The Waukegan dealership I bought the car from forgot to mail my check in with the paperwork to the Minnesota DVS in March. I spoke with a representative from DVS and she told me that DriveTime sent the documents over without the check. I was driving around with an expired permit from the dealership for two months. Instead of admitting their mistake, they decide to take my car away. Im very disappointed and disgusted by DriveTime. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM!! If you do, make sure the dealership is on top of your paperwork.

DriveTime fails to tell you that that you are about to be approved for an extremely HIGH INTEREST loan that does not fit your financial situation one bit. DriveTime will make you feel very special over your approval (everyones approved), which is a tactic they take pride teaching their sales minions. The makes it easy to provoke your signature for a highly UNETHICAL (and kind of illegal) loan at that point.What ends up happening, especially if your financial status remains constant is that you are going to miss a payment due to something. DriveTime will not waste any time taking your car and will not give it back unless you can afford a bill we all know you cant, and DT is preying on the fact that you wont. How convenient right? When you cant pay that bill, you will be sent to collections for the ENTIRE amount of the car...Its a FACT! This means you are now obligated to pay thousands of dollars in collections for NO PROOF OF PERFORMANCE. This means you owe the full price of your repossessed car and do not get it back. Is there a place to give zero stars. Had to pick a star or it wouldnt let me post. I wouldnt recommend crappy drivetime to the devil. They tell you these car are in good condition but they really arent. The customer service people are rude after the purchase and I dont know why they do these reviews because nothing is going to be done or get better. Dont do it people. Go elsewhere. These people are uncaring and inconsiderate. The only thing Kaitlyn will say is I am saddened to hear that you are disheartened with us. Well then fix this shady company and stop taking advantage of innocent people that are trying to get back on track.

I seem to be in the same boat as most people. It was easy to get the car, I was in need. I have horrible credit and It seemed to be a great opportunity for me to rebuild it. As soon as my 30 days passed, the car began to have problems, Im continuing to fix it still now after 6 months. Hopefully I can get a resolution with them, Im trying to now with an official complaint. I do not deserve to pay for a car that is falling apart. :-( Please dont reply with your scripted cacamamie- 30 days yadda yadda, warranty yaddda yadda . it is not normal to do so many repairs on a car you just got. My daughter bought a Dodge Journey from your Havana St location in Aurora Co. The day after she bought it is was in the mechanics. One of only two places you approve the other one is an hour away. It has been in the mechanics for 3 weeks in total and today for the sixth time no sooner did we drive away the check engine light came on and started smoking. You will not approve for it to go to a dealer and she has paid for rental cars. Everyone has been rude and refuses to help. I guess she should have read the reviews. Lesson learned but now we have to hire an attorney. I guess that is why the CEO makes 650k you rip people off then go onto the next person-its a numbers game...PEOPLE BEWARE

If I could use ZERO stars I would. DriveTime is the WORST company ever. Not only are they highway robbers but they are doing illegal things. I called and cancelled my auto pay because I traded in the crap car they sold me. While I did have the car, every payment was made on time, never late. I got an email saying that the payment would be deducted from my account, I called immediately to let them know that I no longer had the car, she said no problem if I have your permission to cancel autopay I can do that today. I said, please do, the next day the money was deducted!!!! I called and some idiot told me that she sees no payment past some date and that it was a mistake. I gave them 24hours to reverse it. Nothing. I called again and another idiot told me that I had to send them a bank statement due to a discrepancy on my account. I said no way am I doing that, I have made every right step here, this is your fault and you will have the money back in my account. She transfered me to a supervisor aka another idiot. Who said literally nothing. I asked her questions and she sat there in silence. This company is a joke, they are thieves. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!!

I am currently going through what Tami stated in her review. They repossessed my vehicle, I found out why. They charged me 300 plus my car note, then I paid 143 for car insurance. I gave them everything they needed, but I still wasnt able to recover the vehicle cause the towing company is only open on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Today is Monday and I was told my car was on its way back to drivetime lot after all the money I have came up with to get it back. DRIVE TIME is not worth doing business with.

Horrible experience!! I saw we all do a class action law suit! since having the car on the 6th day alternator went out, now having tire pressure lights and check engine lights on. Took it to one of their authorized dealers and has conformed the car has many issues, drive time does not care there so called rig·or·ous inspection they claim to do is bull crap. My payments are so high, didnt get a grace period and I cant even pay through my banking app or a website. I have to drive to Wal-Mart or pay by phone. I was taken advantage of. Someone read all the paperwork from drive time and said it should be illegal what they did to me. I wont be driving for Uber when the car passes its 10 years. I could go on too.

My wife and I went to the Lewisville Texas location and by the time we left we were accused of having a DWI falsifying information cussed out threatened to call the cops on and chased out of the building before we ended up getting into our vehicle to leave after being pre-qualified for anything on their lot. The customer service was an absolute disrespect and I will never go to DriveTime again. As a matter of fact I will be taking legal action against this employee for slander and defamation of character for accusing us of having charges on our record that are absolutely untrue. I strongly urge anyone going to drive time to reconsider cuz you could end up in jail or worse.

I worked for DriveTime in the corporate office and I really enjoyed my experience there because I loved the work I was doing and also saw how much DriveTime cared for their customers. I learned by visiting the inspection center for DriveTime and working with customer service that they strived to provide quality cars and to always do right by the customer. I saw that they would do whatever it takes to help the customer and help people that normally would not be approved to buy a car.

This post is written in the hopes to get some resolution with a horrible experience that I am currently having with Drive Time. I leased a vehicle from DT sometime in January, thankfully I’ve had no issues with the vehicle and have been meeting my payment obligations. However, on June 13, 2015, as expected, my vehicle payment was deducted from my checking account. This payment cleared on June 15, 2015. On June 16, 205 I received an over the limit alert from Chase, telling me my account was overdrawn. Upon review of my account it showed DT had deducted and additional $401+ from my account. For what reason, no one has yet been able to provide me an explanation. I have submitted 2x via fax, copies of my bank statement as requested by customer service. Since June 16, 2015 I have been trying to resolve this because since that moment I have been unable to access any money that was available in my checking account for simple necessities such as food, and gas. On Friday 6/19/2015 I spoke to yet another rep who told me that based on the information I had provided, it was clear an error had been made, and that he had submitted a check request in the amount of the $401+ and $102 in fees to be sent to me to correct the issue. He explained that I could expect to get these checks either by that Saturday, or no later than Monday. Today is Thursday, June 25, 2015, and I still have not been reimbursed the money, and I can’t even buy groceries much less gas to get to work. The financial hardship and mental anguish that DT has put me and my son thru the past 2 weeks is awful, and NO ONE!! Has been able to provide me a solid explanation for this confusion, and to make the situation worse, another payment is due tomorrow, which DT will happily deduct from my account, not taking into consideration that other scheduled payments I had for other bills, from my account, which was overdrawn 2 weeks ago, will now also be deducted from any funds that come into my account from my paycheck. I’ve never been so frustrated with a merchant. Your customer service for leased vehicles SUCKS!! The staff there clearly doesn’t communicate with each other, doesn’t ask questions, lies. I was told Friday I would be getting checks in the mail, when those checks did not arrive on Monday, I called again to inquire, and the rep whom I spoke to then told me no later than Tuesday, those checks would be mailed to me. Never mentioned anything about me not being able to get those checks because the matter was still being investigated. Only to call yesterday, and “Carlos” tells me that because the matter was still being investigated I wouldn’t be getting said checks anytime soon. DT has the worst customer service reps. They lack communication skills to say the least, and Managers suck as well, because none are ever available to deal with issues. I would return the vehicle tomorrow and NEVER deal with you again over this experience alone. The fact that no one has been able to contact me with a solid explanation is deplorable. But heaven forbid I’m late making a payment, DT will be sure to call and harass me until either a payment is made, or the vehicle is collected or returned to the dealer. Drive Time is the epitome of HORRIBLE customer service. You can be sure that this email will also be posted as a review for your company.To make matters more frustrating I have been on hold for almost an hour, trying to speak to someone in the corporate office in Arizona.

I am so mad I got a car from them and the 2 week the car broke down and they didnt want to fix my car after a month they called wanting to fix it but I had to pay a deductible of 100 for a lemon. A week later driving from Ohio it brakes down on me again with my kids in the car They had me pay for the tow..they dont do car rentals, or give you another car in the same value as the other one you have to keep that broke down car . but they will call you a thousands times for a payment I hate drive time I will never tell anyone about them.

The service was crappy.The sales person Dania Carter requested that I call 30 minutes prior to my arrival. I arrived at 7:00 pm more or less. However, I waited greater than 3 hours to sign the contract. Bkai stated that for 2.00 more per payment I could have all 3 options she did not state that it would extend the length of the contract. The original sales person was upset that I was not accepting the other option and walked away.No thank you, sorry for the massive delay. I walked into the Tallahassee office this morning only to find out that 99% of what I make is now worthless. I hope the CEO of drivetime fires whom ever came up with the policy of not using Uber or Lyft income. I do this full time just like any other job. Im a disabled veteran with a lower back injury. Im listed at 20% disabled which gives me right under $300 a month. I had almost reached a deal when this comes down the chain. What the Hell!?! DO NOT BUT A CAR FROM THESE CROOKS!!! I purchaced a 2012 Sonata from them two months ago and was already stranded on the side of the road because the oil and other fluids were tar like meaning they havent been checked or changed in months. So much for thier inspections they raved about so much .Apparently this was never checked. Someone dropped the ball. The Usb / Power ports never worked, not the fuses . They will not do anything to correct the issue. they will not even return my phone calls in the Lombard Il. dealership and when i called corporate they basicly said oh well pay for it yourself. I never thought Id be able to walk out with a better vehicle than my mustang. The staff, Joseph Delisia, started the process and from him to Kareena Carter, showing me the car. I just recently bought a 2011 Ford Escape from Drive Time in Arlighton Tx on Division. There was some pretty big problems with it but what the warranty would not fix Drive Time Corporate did. I was so upset at my sales person and his actions but Drive Time Corporate did make it right thank you.

I have been trying to pay my bill for 3 days now!! I have called customer service at least 10xs, been put on hold to speak to representatives that are unprofessional and rude. I was told to make a payment w/Western Union only to be told that Western Union no longer has a relationship with DriveTime by a representative from Western Union. I was also very rudely told by a DriveTime representative when I tried to make the payment over the phone that my card was no good and that I needed to find another means of payment. The representative would not except any responsibility for the fact that the problem might just be on their end. I visited Walmart as instructed by customer service with a was given a code and was told they didnt have DT as a payment. I then called the dealership were I purchased the car for help and spoke to the Manager would told me he had no idea on how I could make payments but gave codes that should work again thru Western Union. If not, he told me to just call customer service for further assistance because he didnt know. I finally made a payment thru MoneyGram with the same card that I was told didnt work from Customer Service. Now Im trying to contact customer service once again to confirm that the payment has been received and the recording says the open 8:00am EST but put each time I have called after 8:00am the recorded message clearly states that they are closed!!! I just want to make my payment on-time and dont think it should be so hard. I have been trying to process a payment for 3 days now and dont understand why.

The drivetime. Location. In tallahasse florida is the worst.everytime i called to get some answers. I got redirected to someone elses line .we put money down a vehicle and but changed our mind we called and went by the dealership to get our money back and they keep saying they waiting on corporate its been 1 week now but they quick to take your money.the manger Andre is a joke and also glen. Do not go here for car or its your loss.

Never buy a car from Drivetime. They cut corners when ever and where ever they can. They over charge for death traps. Never put your family in a Drivetime car. You will be better off taking the bus. Trust me I worked there.

Where do I start ???Customer Service not notating account correctly,when you challenge them about it they hang up or ask you to hold and then divert you back in to call Q !Every call you ask me again about the Hardship that caused 2 payments to slack ( i am not talking about it anymore !! Im sick of telling everyone that calls me! -- since then may I add the account has been paid on regularly 1st and 18th of the month.So this has been going on and around circles- back n forth -Terrible Customer ServiceShame on you - Monitor your agentsQuality Assurance needed on these calls!

The experience was deplorable . I have filed a BBB complaint against the company . I bought a SUV from them and having serious chronic issues . I have to pay out of pocket, and they refused to take ownership and provide assistance . I have this defective SUV for 6 months and this is the worst .I am not driving it, so I am paying around 500 a month for it to be parked in my drive way ... Way to go DRIVE TIME ... Great customer service ..

Ive worked here since April and its one of the more open, energetic, positive environments Ive worked in. The vibe is young and everyone is very friendly. The building itself is very modern with lots of open work spaces, not to mention a basketball court. Cant speak highly enough about the culture.

We are sitting at drivetime in memphis tn on covington pike brought a car back that broke down two days after buying it now its 5 days and we want to swap cars and we are told we have to pay 1dollar per mile to even swap this car this is bull and will not recommend

Drivetime sold me a garbage car 2014 dodge dart they say it passed all inspections but this car has had nothing but issues in the past not even 2 months i stall out constantly for no reason the vehicle is burning 3 qts of oil every 1000 miles this car has put me and my wife and 2 kids in harms wayi almost got side swiped 2 times in the middle of a intersection because it would stall out when it wants and its even done it on the freeway numerous times yet all the repair shops cant find the problem I already paid out of pocket for all the diagnostics and car rentalcorporate isnt helping for crap and customer relations is a joke give me the run around and send me to the warrenty company who wants test done to a vehicle that wont runI have told them Ive missed days of work because I have not been able to use my car that I am paying from them which will stop because Im not paying for a pos car I already contacted 3 law firms and all 3 say I havE a case they are willing to takeIf they put me in another car that will not harm my family I will not continue with legal actionI will give them till tommorow 9-23-16 to contact me to work something out or I will do everything in my power to make sure no one else gets ripped off I have great connections with news stations and online forums and go ahead with legal action.

Customer Service sucks..they charge you for making a payment over the phone and charge you for THEIR mistake. I will NEVER deal with this company again. Oh..and dont call the Corporate Office, they are just as bad as the ones you deal with on the phone.
