This was my first experience getting car repair services for a accident and even though the process was long and grueling they kept us updated every step of the way through text call or email which was extremely helpful and convenient. I can not say enough good things about this body shop. I dropped my Jeep off on a Monday and my car was ready by Thursday afternoon of the same week. The work is always top notch. The customer service is great and they worked side by side with my insurance and me to get my car back to me the fastest way possible. Long story short my cars don’t go anywhere else but Lakeside Collision.

I continue to use Lakeside II for my 2007 Tahoe body work. I recently needed to have some surface rust spots fixed along with some trim that the clear coat was deteriorating. I always find the Team at Lakeside to be honest, timely and professional. I will continue to go to lakeside for quality auto body repairs!

My truck was hit with a power line in a storm. Kim and Charlyn had it in the next day doing the quote and helping deal with insurance. They had the repairs done quickly and the truck looks great! Only place I will take a vehicle for body work!

These guys were great! We were referred to them by our mechanic who said that their quotes usually come in under price of other local shops. We took the car there first. I didnt even bother going anywhere else. They were flexible in working with us. Job was done quick and looks fantastic!

After $28,000 to restore a brand new Porsche which was paid by the insurance settlement, the word best for this business is Fly by Knight! They charged big money to only cut corners and rip off the customer/insurance company. And, yes.. they are extremely aggressive in any disagreement! RUN

Unfortunately my car had been towed to Lake Side Collision II in Merrillville after an accident. When I called the shop, Chuck answered the phone and was very pleasant and professional when trying to sell me on using his shop. Once I told him that I intended on moving my vehicle to an Allstate recommended repair shop, it seemed that the pleasant and professional demeanor drastically changed to the point of being argumentative. I then started asking questions about the police release that was required and who had possession of my vehicle. I am not quite sure what Chuck’s intentions were at the end of our conversation, but I heard him yelling and calling me profanities. During his rant I listened to him say something along the lines of refusing to service my vehicle even if I wanted him to. I was shocked that I was being cursed at over the phone by this man. When I went to speak again the line was disconnected. I felt that I was treated poorly and that the manager and owner should know what was going on. I called Lake Side back and Chuck answered, I asked him for the name of the shop manager and owner. He informed me that he is the owner. I began to say how shocked I was that the owner would treat someone with such disrespect and be that unprofessional. He began yelling that he didn’t care and wouldn’t service my car anyway, then disconnected the line. Luckily the towing company and Allstate were able to work together on getting my car moved without me needing to have any more interactions with Chuck at Lake Side II. Even though I wasn’t planning on using Lake Side and cannot speak for their repair abilities, I would never consider giving them my business or recommend them to anyone.

Had body work done by these guys twice on my infiniti. Both times they were prompt, professional, and kind. I highly recommended them to anyone who wants individuals who work with integrity.
