My only advice is to make sure you bring a mechanic with you and complete a Carfax on whatever vehicle that is of interest. The owner was very pleasant and willing to negotiate the price of the vehicle until I informed him of my mechanics findings and brought up the fact that the vehicle had not gone through Emissions recently. He literally raised the price of the vehicle another $500 which was higher than the actual value of the vehicle. Then a week later he sold the same vehicle for $1000 less than the price he told me. Now some poor soul has to struggle to get the car registered because it doesnt have what it needs to pass Emissions. So if you go to this business to purchase a vehicle remember to ask for a warranty, make sure it has gone through Emissions, Carfax, bring mechanic, do research on KELLY BLUE BOOK and test drive the vehicle. Get everything in writing.

These guys are theirs. They stole my friends money and medication after she broke down and un willingly had it towed on Christmas day . She said there was over 200 stolen.

Stay away from this Irresponsible People!!They towed my car, and the next day I went, the employees who work at that site, several things disappeared from my car, and one of those who works at that site, told me that the tow truck driver was looking around cars and keeping the things that were inside!I dont want any service with those people at all! and they are not ashamed at all!

I called up owner and agreed to bring car in. Charge me 90.00 for a diagnostic which he claimed was done but couldnt print out report he then turn around and charged me 450 to replace egr valve not including parts. Before I can pull out check engine light came on he said to drive it. Took it somewhere else the same problem i paid him to fix was the problem. Dave told me hell charge me again to replace part because its not his fault. Your bettet off going to a back yard mechanic at lest they may respect you. Thank God for text messages, thats the only proof i Have. I called to report this business. Court is my only option Im on disability and dont have money to just give away.

So far, so good. Rodney is very helpful and accomodating. Car is still in the shop because of insurance red tape (of course). Will update later.***Update***Finally got my car back!Great job by the folks here.Word of caution: State Farm insurance is one of, if not the worst insurance company to deal with! Avoid State Farm!

This place is horrible, no customer service and the owner is rude. I had my car towed to this location after accident not knowing where the car was going otherwise I would never pick this place. They give you wrong information and don’t work with you. First I was told to come in the morning to collect my valuables and once I got there they said I can’t touch anything unless the bill is paid by my insurance. Meanwhile the vehicle was unsecured right in the open, they didn’t care. Not professional at all. Stay away!!!

I had the misfortune of getting into an accident passing through CT on a miserable winter Sunday (am from out of state) and Midstate gave me a tow off the highway to their location and stored my vehicle afterwards. Mike was very considerate, sensitive to making my elderly passenger comfortable and also went out of his way to take us to a different location where we could wait for our ride. Simply put, this is a small business with good people and are experienced at repair (but for the luck of a nearby official dealer/shop for my make of vehicle I would have trusted them with the repair job without hesitation). I dont normally write google reviews but I saw a negative review on this place, which just cried out to be balanced especially as the place is under new management - these guys are on the up and up.

I appreciate the owners honesty, and so far the work that hes done is been good at a good price. If youre looking for a mechanic who will work with you, give it a try.

Worst tow place ever got my car towed they charged me 304 to get my car back after only having it for 2 nights yet charged me for 3 and the fees were ridiculous! Its high way robbery the guy is the worst human Ive ever meet ! My car title was left in the car he said if I didnt pay the car was gonna be his cause he was gonna sign the tittle. He went threw the car and tool things! Feel like suing and reporting to the better business bureau

Had the car towed here after an accident and went to clean out the car and find that the money that was in the car had been taken and was never there when they looked though the console. The only people who were said to be in the car were the owner and employee.. when they werent even supposed to touch the vehicle. Also personal belongings were moved around and other missing. They are supposed to take and store the vehicle till its either paid or totaled. These guys are the worst at dealing with customers also I recommend not using them if you have a choice. Be wary if you do and follow the vehicle to have it cleaned out dont wait..

The owner of this company used to own Luckys Rod Works. He did body work on my car that should have been totaled. He was then a friend and helped work numbers to save my car -- very grateful for that. However, he then had my car for, if I remember correctly, two months. He had to paint it twice because he wasnt happy with the first result. Maybe he should have tried a third time. It absolutely does not look like a professional job. A couple of his hairs are in the paint. He replaced the hood. It doesnt fit. When I finally got the car back, it was missing parts from the engine compartment. Really? He put in writing that he would make good because the customer was unhappy. Three years later -- hes opened a different shop and he never tried to do right by me. Needless to say, the friendship is over. Worse than that, he had my husbands 1954 Ford F100 for THREE years. Took and cashed a check for $3500, the agreed price to do body work and paint. After stalling, my husband demanded the truck, which was said to be finished and beautiful!. Finally, when my husband showed up to get the truck, he was told it had all been a lie. Just about nothing had been done and what had been done was a total hack job. Parts were missing from that one, too, I believe. The truck was in pieces. My husband is now restoring the truck himself and I must say, he has corrected one of the total hack jobs this so-called professional did. As for the $ -- thats long gone. The guy told my husband to come and get it (finally!). Armand was a no show as was the money. His kid even lied through his teeth that the money was there. Further, I guess to make himself look sympathetic, Armand lied to my husband that he was in the hospital and had a large portion of his lung removed (after he had had a small piece removed years before). PEOPLE -- STEER CLEAR OF THIS MAN! HE IS A LIAR AND A THIEF AND SHOULD BE IN JAIL!! (Id give this guy negative stars if it was an option.)
