George took care of me and my five year old daughter as though we were his own! They quickly assessed the situation, gave reasonable timelines for the work, shlepped us to and from a hotel 8 miles away, and allowed us to take a loner back home (4 hours away) and return in a week later when the work was done. George took what could have been an extremely stressful situation and turned it into the very best scenario we could hope for given the circumstances. A little compassion and excellent work from George and his team showed my 5 year old what kindness and generosity looks like in this world.

I recently purchased a 2017 VW Tiguan from Harte. The process of buying the vehicle was painless; they bent over backward to sell me the car. During the buying process, one of my questions (as it was a used vehicle) was about the miles on the tires. They are brand new Solar 4xS tires I was told. Turns out that wasnt the case. Today, I walked out to my office parking lot to find the rear passenger tire flat. An inspection revealed a 2 tear inside one of the grooves in the tire (see picture). I texted the guy who sold me the car (Let me know if you need anything, I was told by him the day I drove off the lot). I asked him about the tires, letting him know one was flat. Check your paperwork - I dont recall if they were new. I told him the paperwork was at home and could he check. Two of them are new, but Im not sure which. That doesnt matter though - your warranty (I bought the care as a Certified Pre-owned Vehicle) doesnt cover tires. Maybe the tires are warranted by the manufacturer? I dont know - contact my service department. Not Im sorry - how can I help. Or, yeah - sounds like that might be an issue we can help with. Instead, the guy who sure was happy to help with any questions I had up until the check cleared and I had a problem is suddenly, hey - thats not my problem. Well, actually it is because now you have a life-long VW buyer who will never, ever deal with your dealership again.

I was looking for a new Volkswagen and found the exact spec I was looking for at Harte. I reached out to the sales department on a Sunday and was happily greeted by Bruce Williams. He immediately sent actual pictures of the specific car I was looking for with all details before I made a trip to see it in person to see it, and made a deal that day. Bruce was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, and provided a very fair and transparent price. My previous 2019 GLI was totaled on a Friday night and by the following Monday night I was driving home in a replacement 2019 GLI. The team at Harte VW was incredibly flexible and straight to the point with getting me set up in a replacement vehicle at a great price compared to their competitors in CT. A huge shout out to my sales rep Bruce who built a great rapport right off the bat and made sure I was confident in the vehicle I was purchasing and took all the dread out of visiting a dealership to fill out paperwork. That paperwork was also almost painless to get through in comparison to other dealerships and I was driving home from the dealership within an hour of my arrival!

Wost experience ever no one greed us. Had appoinment there was no one to be found intime frame of 30 minutes to assist us. Even followed up with scheduler and still no one come to help us. Wasted 30 minutes. We were really serious but we will spend our hard earned money somewhere else.

I took my car in there to get diagnose for some sort of vacuum leak and ended up paying $440 for carbon cleaning that did not solve the issue didn’t help me at all and I probably didn’t even need and then after that they want to charge me another couple hundred dollars to replace a turbo when I really went in there to figure out why my car was leaking air go somewhere I’m just disappointed and not satisfied with service,Update: took car to another shop and they tightened some screws and cars running perfect, wouldve thought a Volkswagen shop would notice things like that but all i got was a $450 bill and and a up-sale for a new turbo smh

I have gone to this location for service twice in recent months and both times I have had EXCEPTIONAL experiences. The first time I was getting my oil changed, a headlight changed, and a recall taken care of and they got it done very quickly, and they were super friendly. The second time was today. I left the gym, and turned on my car and two errors came up, airbag and transmission. I’m sweaty and have to get to work, so this is an immediate buzzkill. I call them up and bring it in and they literally got it fixed in 40 min. I went from being cranky and sweaty to very happy and still sweaty! But hey, it’s summer and I just left the gym, what do you want from me. ANYWAY my day could have been really awful, but they took care of everything So quickly it completely turned my day around. THANK YOU so much. I genuinely appreciated their friendly and speedy service!!!

This is the worst dealership I ever work with . I went there to check a new VW. We got all the info and numbers we need it. That day when I came back home Frank texted me couple of times to see if I decided to close the deal. After talking to my wife we decided to take a test drive week later and if she likes it to proceed with the deal. When we went back something changed and Frank brush us off completely told us that he will contact us later with all the new prices because his got another appointment . We waited couple of days and nothing called him, texted nothing so finally he texted if I can call and talk when I did he was busy and said that he will call me back which he never did. Same day the costumer service lady called asking about our experience with the dealer last visit so I told her about it and she said that she will take care of this for us. She was contacting me for next week, when we were about to get the right numbers she stop answering my texts and calls. Very strange way to deal with costumer if they continue to do business like that good luck . Eventually we went to deferent dealership and made a good deal quick.

Depending on who you get to help you at this dealer is either good help or they couldnt care your there. Far from the customer service Langan used to provide. We bought a new car back in April and had terrible service from the sales manager Jose. Guy should be demoted, Nate was excellent. Jose delivered the car in poor condition and it was a new 32k car, blamed it on they had to many deliveries that morning or that the detailer was over worked. Thats understandable but proceed to argue with my wife after we waited over an hour past our appointment car for a dirty car delivery. Why not reschedule the delivery so you can provide a better service to your customer and not have to do a recovery service, which I know and I wouldnt trust them to touch my vehicle after having that encounter. I have used Vellenti VW in Hartford for years and they are honestly the best VW service center in the state hands down after using Harte, Prestige, Langan and Watertown as other service centers when living in those areas of the state. George Harte should be embarrassed to have that man as his sales manager. To argue with my wife over your incompetence of service and delivery. The worst is our VW survey never came after the sale, I wonder why, trying to cover his you know... well just call VWoA and voice our concerns eventually, we waited 6 months in case the survey was behind for Covid reasons, oh and dont walk in through the service entrance, half the staff do not wear masks so anything you touch they hand you good luck. Maybe they had a tough time or a bad day, but should never take it out a paying customer that didnt even bargain or hassle your price offered, you got your asking price, but then treat people poorly. Just plain terrible.Never received the email from the manager on my work, or personal emails, but Nate has emailed me before. . . Took my cars to VW of Hartford for service recently, go see Bob in service, excellent service...

I purchased a brand new vehicle in November and had the pleasure of dealing with Yuriy. I called the dealership because I didn’t know what kind of coverage I bought and they helped me through the entire process of getting someone to help me. When I talked to Yuriy over the phone I wasnt sure what I wanted to do. I knew that I wanted to have him look at my car first. He did... May not seem much, but I did the same thing at a different dealership and because the salesman chose to have me meet him in the showroom, his way, not mine....reason I went to Harte VW Yuriy was great, he listened to me.. And instead of the pressure I felt elsewhere, which turned me off, I was happy to do business with him.

Yuriy Kaklyugin is the polite salesperson who walked me through my new car on the day of pick up. He is a highly intelligent and affable, and took the time to let me understand what he was doing as he synced my phone, set the GPS, set radio stations, etc. VW is fortunate to have someone of this caliber on staff, and I highly recommend Nate as well.

THIS IS A SCAM!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!They send you a flyer saying you won and yes it says you won. Then its a very high pressured sale. The got even came to the house while we were test driving truck and got the vin numbers and mikes off the trade in. People you do kniw DEALERS USE WHATS CALLED A BROWN BOOK NOT JUST THE BLUE BOOK!!!. The one question that i asked from begining to end is how much is the truck?? Could NOT OR Would not answer... Never called me back. This is a SCAM!!!!

They sent a very misleading promotional contest in the mail where everyone who does it thinks they won $5,000 by matching 3 symbols. These symbols are meaningless. Winners are actually determined by going to the dealership and comparing your confirmation code to the board in the showroom. Its just a shady ruse to get people to the dealership and try to sell them cars.

Yuriy, Nate, and the Harte VW team made my car buying purchase easy. They were always willing to help answer any questions I had and helped me through the buying process. I have been to the store with my father to buy an Atlas and my first impression about the visit was terrible, because nobody was showing any interest to help us. My father speaks Portuguese so he needs my help to translate and he always has a lot of questions because he likes cars. I dont know if we received this very bad treatment because they think we werent really going to buy the car or if they dont have patience to answer questions about the car or deal with a foreigner, so we LEFT THE STORE VERY UPSET.But my father really liked the car, so we came back and we had a VERY GOOD SURPRISE!!! WE found another level of service this day when Yuriy introduced himself to us. We stayed in the store for more than one hour and my father made a lot of questions, Yuriy was very patient answering everything with a lot of knowledge. He invited us for a test drive and my father loved the car and decided in this moment that this was the car he wanted to buy. The car is amazing and Yuriy explained all the gadgets which made us very excited to have the car as soon as possible.I definitely recommend Yuriy, however I still have doubts about the store based on our first experience. The owner ought to use Yuriy as an example to his other sales people because the way he treats the customer is the secret to making your experience memorable. I just checked my mail and received a Money-Carlo Match to Win game card from the dealer. Supposedly I won $5000 but in the tiny print in the bottom that really means that I have to come in to win a prize, usually a $5 target gift card or nothing at all.Any dealer that does this kind of scam activity and lie to people to bring them in has questionable sales tactics. Just a heads up to anybody that might have gotten the letter recently, I would throw it in the trash.

This past weekend, just out of curiosity, I visited Harte VW to check out a VW sportwagen. 1. I wasnt a huge fan of wagons 2. I didnt really have the money for a newer car (upside down loan). I worked with Rob E. and found not only he but the entire staff as well to be very accommodating and helpful. I discovered that the car i went to see was in far better condition than i thought, had upgrades that I actually liked, and was a steal of a deal. Not only that, but they gave me more on my trade in than I anticipated helped me out a little with the already discounted price, and helped me find a reasonable rate on a loan. The experience was stellar. Rob is a man of many talents and super friendly. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him. Ive made a new friend! After working with a couple other dealerships in the state over the past 10 years, my loyalties have changed! Harte VW all the way from here on out. This is my 4th VW and I really love this car. Its awesome! Thanks everyone!
