My parents bought a truck here not too long along. They organized to have at their oil changes here at the Merced Chevrolet they require you to make an appointment. Every time we have left our vehicle there they have said we will have it done before lunch they take lunch at 1 PM every time it’s not done until 4 PM or longer. Keep in mind we don’t live in Merced. Who wants to spend a Friday waiting almost 7 hours for you’re vehicle. It’s completely ridiculous and I have called to check the service advisor says “ did we call you yet” obviously not! I’m calling to check why it’s taking so much time to do a oil change. We left razzari for the same reason thinking this place would be better but it’s not. If I could give no stars I totally would I do not recommend to get you’re car serviced here. You guys should also be aware that not everybody lives in Merced people that buy cars from you guys not only live in Merced and the shuttle was supposed to take my mother back to Her home which is 50 minutes away. And bring her back in the same shuttle I highly doubt that. It would be nice to have a courtesy call letting us know how the vehicle is going because after seven hours is ridiculous waiting for a car

I do 3 starts not because of the guy that helped me but because of the way they do their appointments and the lack of loaners.I called to schedule an oil changed appointment and the closest one was 3 weeks from the day I called, which is fine, I figure they are busy.I go to my appointment and they tell me it will take about 4-5 hours because they were real busy, you will think having an appointment (schedule 3 weeks ago) will give you priority regardless of any other jobs they have.So I say, ok, do you a loaner? so I can go back to work and come back when my car is ready? Merced Chevrolet is about the only dealer Ive been that do not have loaners, that is pretty bad if you are not able to keep up with appointments. If they have to work on your car for more than 4 hours, you need a loaner, I have always done that in the Bay Area dealerships.Other than that, I appreciate my guy was able to get my car done in 90 minutes, better than 4 hours. I have always got my cars at the bay area, but wanted to be local now and try our local dealers, which I think they do great - its just the process I believe they need to improve.

The man who helped me I believe they called him “paps” he was an older gentlemen, the date was 7/30/21. This man went above and beyond for me. I explained to him my situation he acted as a human being with compassion not just as a man doing his job. The Service department is phenomenal. My 2014 GMC Savanna van was running rough. Since I had a drive back to Texas by myself I was concerned. I took it to them based on a family members recommendation. They worked on the diagnosis for a bit and tried several solutions. They were not able to fix the issue due to parts availability so I will take the van home. I was shocked when I picked it up and there was no charge due to unable to repair. That is true honesty. Plus they were very cooperate to discuss all of the issues with my oldest son who has a GMC backgroundI can not recommend them enough.. They are very honest and extremely hard working.

Purchase process was easy and smooth. Salesman was friendly. The one drawback of the agency was not enough inventory to choose from.

He explained every document throughly, as this was my first ever car purchase, and ease me through my new buyer anxiety!Had quite a few laughs, smiles and handshakes, they even encouraged my young daughter to ring the (deal closed) bell after I had already rang it!The only suggestion I would have is, if possible, to switch all the document signing to an electronic format. There is so many papers used during the process, switching to electronic signing would truly save some trees!

My brand new 2019 Tahoe I purchased from Merced Cheverolet had been in an accident. They were aware of this but chose not to reveal to me. After discovering this, i told them I wanted another vehicle or my money back. The owner refused both. My attorney filed a motion for Fraud in the Merced Superior Court titled Charlene Carroll vs Merced Cheverolet, General Motors. This is public info and is available online. We ended up settling out of court. I was able to keep the Tahoe and was awarded $30,000. You decide for yourself.

I was traveling with my family from California to Washington State I was fully loaded with a camping trailer and a truck full of teenage daughters When my truck went into limp mode and lost all power going over the grapevine. There was no way for me to make it home with my truck Acting the way it was. I tried calling several dealerships to see if anyone had any appointments available. I finally gave up and decided to just pull into town and get a hotel Room for the night and try to start fresh The next day. When I pulled into town I noticed that our hotel was right next to a dealership but it was closed I figured I would give them a call the very next day to see if by any miracle they could get me an appointment. The next day when I called I talk to their service manager who was extremely understandable about my situation and even though he told me that they were also very booked up he would do what he could to help out me and my family and to just bring the vehicle in so they could have a look at it. Turns out it was something fairly simple And they were able to get it fixed within an hour took it out of limp mode and had us on our way thank God. I definitely would recommend this dealership and I appreciate beyond words can say what they did for a family who was just passing through and needed help thank you so much.

I needed an oil change, tire rotation, a repair on my cooling system and a new switch to be able to roll down the right rear window of my car. Getting the parts required I leave it overnight. Merced Chevrolet gave me a loaner car so I could get around until the next day. My car was ready the next day before 11:00 am and the cost was reasonable given the parts and time needed to make all of repairs. Nice job and thank you Merced Chevrolet!

At this point I feel like you guys have stolen my truck. Had me sign papers because I was told Id be getting paid for my truck just to find out at the end of the deal that I wasnt getting paid yet. Then let me take a loaner until it gets sorted out just to get a call 2 days later to get screamed at for having said loaner. I have a letter of intent stating you owe me 35k and a letter stating there is no lein on my truck and hasnt been since 5/20/20 but I cant even get a call back from you. Do to circumstances beyond my control, a twin-bagger for a lawn tractor 🚜 was taking up the trunk and back seat of my car when it died. They had to remove it to first investigate and then then replace the transmission in a day, all at GMs expense! Geo and his co-workers excelled!!

It took a while to get everything done, but after all the paperwork was signed they brought my new car washed and filled with gas.I recommend these guys to everyone. She listened to my concerns about credit scores and she made suggestions. Car buying is a long process, but Yulisa was attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Not only was she able to get us the car my son wanted, but we were able to get a decent interest rate and price as well. When it was time to sign papers, she made sure we were helped in a timely manner. Junior was the next person to help us complete our paperwork. He made sure we had all the necessary insurance that a new car owner needs which was a surprise, but very appreciated. Over all it was an awesome experience. I had a great experience when I purchased my car the sales men were great. The service depart was good too but I was disappointed when I got my car back. I assumed that they would vacuum and wash my car before returning it to me nor did they rotate the tires like it should have been done when the oil was changed.

I made an appointment with the Merced Chevrolet service department online which went smoothly.When I dropped off my 2019 Chevy Tahoe LT, I told the service writer the problem I was having. The problem was my auto insurance company text me stating that I had (3) error codes on my Tahoe. The service writer asks me if the service warning light was on, and I told him it wasnt on. He said if the light wasnt on that there are no code errors probably are none existing.After testing for error codes, the service writer was correct. There were no existing error codes. The past error code data was not cleared which the insurance company was receiving on there end.So, my experience with Merced Chevrolet was great. The service writer was very friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced.Thank Merced Chevrolet, job well done.

I am very disappointed it took over 2 hours for my oil change then it was leaking oil all week come find out the mechanic did not tighten the filter so I had an oil spill all week very discouraging to say the least
