Worst customer service. The workers have bad attitudes and are slow be prepared to wait hrs to get a basic oil change. Do not recommend.

You know I have been desapointed with the management there in Merced, but they improved a lot, I was happy with the workers they treated me with respect and great help. Change my mind, I like it 👌

I got a basic $19.88 oil change I had to wait 2.5 hours! 😰 I had McDonalds while I waited.. Shopped..browsed till i couldnt anymore. I went and asked about my vehicle and it needed 10 more minutes. For the $ I guess what should I expect?! They have seats inside to wait but if you want to go get something from your car they have to buzz you out. All the automotive associates are busy because just about everything is locked up at Wal-Mart now. The Automotive associates are friendly but you can see the stress on their face and time in their voice.

They have good prices on tires, which is why I bought 2 Goodyear Viva 3 tires for a van. When I got home, I noticed that the tread depth on both tires looked thin as if they had already been used for a couple years at least. This was unexpected because the tires were supposed to be new. However, I am aware that some tire manufacturers make new tires with an already thin tread depth, so I did not think much about it. It has been about 2-3 years since I got the tires, with about 25k miles on the tires. The tread is done, even though they are rated for up to 60k miles. The sidewalls have a bunch of small cracks, so that just further makes me think that I was given old, possibly used tires. I am definitely not going back to the auto care center. You have been advised.

Took my car for a oil change in December. Brought my car in for another change and was told that walmart had stripped the thread on the oil pan screw and now I need a whole new oil pan!

I just got home from Merced Walmart for an oil change. Did not get new oil inside my car from them. I asked for the oil change without changing the filter because my filter has 15,000 miles left on it. I waited 2 hours and 30 minutes ONLY to find out their policy wont allow the oil change without also changing the oil filter. It took 2 hours and 30 minutes for them to let me know. The cashier had really good service but their mechanics failed me. Im not mad Im just disappointed that I lost 2.5 hours. Hopefully in the future they can notify other customers of this policy before having to wait hours and not even get their oil change. If youre a customer reading this for an oil change, bottom line change your own oil or take it somewhere else.

I have never waited in line for more than 2 hours to get my oil change. This time was different there were still 5 cars ahead of me and I had already been there for 2 hours. We did not move that whole time, the worker proceeded to tell me I would wait another 2-3 hours for the oil change. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!

Needed a new battery. Was helped in a very short time. It was installed and we were out.Like that the warranty in good AT ANY WALMART in the U.S.

Absolutely horrible. The customer service does not exist to these employees. And if you do get any type of service or help. Be prepared to get a handful of attitude along side it.

I was told 30 mins for a battery exchange and 2 hours later I was out the door, I ask for updates they never told me they would fit me in between the other cars that were there for tires. I was lucky I had the day off today but still no customer service and was really not appreciated to have me as a customer there I looked like another number to them.

Clean,friendly and quick

Took along time to get 4 new tires on my vehicle. After the techs were finished they DID NOT RESET my tire sensor like they said they would. Literally had to go somewhere else for them to reset that sensor😒😒

They are always courteous and answer my questions with patience. As a mom, they don’t “talk down” to me. Thanks for the great service

Honest to gosh one of the best places in Merced.The workers are top notch, one could say even better than F1, Rally or WRC mechanics.I took my vehicle to get an oil change and not only did the car run better than ever, but Im positive the oil change added and extra 5 horsepower.Another time I took my car to get an alignment and decided that I wanted a crooked alignment instead of the traditional straight alignment and man did the mechanics nail it. My car drifted to the right every time I let go of my steering wheel.Also one of the workers which is my favorite and a go to has this incredible fitment on his car, one could say hes monster trucking.Bottom line if you need any maintenance done Walmart Auto Service Merced is a 10/10 Must go.

We needed tires and they were cheap and fast.

Granted they changed my oil in an hour but they forgot to put the oil cap on. Then now im here months later needing a new oil change only to find out they stripped the bolt on my oil tank leavng it seemingly impossible to remove. Low price but not worth the new fees im going to have to pay now.

How the damn do you take my money, waste my time, and not do your job? I came in a few days ago, paid for a synthetic blend oil change. I was almost stranded in Fresno because my goddam motor oil was out. There was no oil in there! Can someone tell me how I can get a damn refund?

Usually ok, showed up at 7 because Im heading to the out of town for the day. They didnt open until 7:10 and the main gate was still closed. Its 7:40 and I just saw a guy walking in with the oil I picked, hoping its not for my car 😵
