A lot of people recommended this place when my prius was having issues. They did a fast and great job on my car but I would only return there out of necessity.It is a very akward place. They dont greet you when you enter the office. I do think the diagnosis is just them getting free money because I told them what was wrong with my car. I gave them $50 (originally $100) and had to wait 1 hour and 20 mins in the small waiting room for nothing. The second time I went, I just dropped the car off and picked it up. The part arrived fast and they changed it in less than the quoted time.

We are from out of town. Locals gave us the recommendation. Part shortages slowed the process down. But, we were treated well and honestly. Our problem had complexities NOT in the repair manual. They demonstrated great skill -- in handlimg situations that are out of normal.

Very happy with the service and professionalism at Toyotech. I got my transmission fluid and differential oil changed as well as a new battery and did not get price gouged. Tom and his crew took care of my needs and I will return.

Took my car in, had to pay for diagnosis and for the issue which came up to almost 2k and he “fixed” it. Then it came back and took my car in again and I had to pay another $100 just so he can check it and he didn’t do anything. It’s a scam avoid this place they just rob your money.

Overpriced! Before I took my car in I was checking prices and they said $80 for diagnosis and when I took my car it was $100

Fair prices good service

This is the place you want to go for all of your vehicle needs!Made an appointment for brake inspection on Friday and they started working immediately. The manager showed me all my options and we actually ended up doing an oil change since it included a full vehicle inspection which was more cost efficient in the long run. I ended up having coolant leaking from my radiator that needed to be replaced. He took even photos of the leak and sent them to me to show me what was going on. When speaking with him, I never felt that he was just trying to pull a fast one on me. If I would have waited to fix the radiator, I could have severely screwed up my engine. Unfortunately they didnt have the part there with them that day and they said it would have to be the following Monday that they could work on it and they wouldnt suggest driving it in the mean time. I expressed to them that I could not do Monday because of an important work survey that I needed done Monday morning. The owner/manager went OUT OF THEIR WAY to get the part delivered fast AND even come in on the weekend for a few hours to get it done so that I would not have to reschedule my work. I am extremely grateful to them and will from now on, recommend this place to everyone! I do not know much about car repair myself, but I never felt like they were trying to replace things that didnt actually need to be replaced. Any questions that I had, he walked me through it and gave me all of the breakdowns. On top of their skill, they are nice people at the shop! Id highly recommend.

Owner is very nice they do great work and if you get car there in morning they can diagnos what is wrong and do there best to have it done in one day. If you want something done right the first time with great car parts and not rigged with cheap parts that brake come here the new owner is very smart guy if they dont work on your type of car they will point you into the right direction. They offer a great warranty also

Like any other place. the run-around when it comes to fixing your car. After every Toyota that they work on, they never know whats wrong with your car. If Toyotas are the number one vehicle make that you guys work on, why is it always, it could be anything, you just have to bring it in Attitude? These people know exactly whats wrong with your car ... But of course make business with the diagnostic fee. Remember, these are professionals, and professionals never say that they are not sure or they do not know whats wrong with your car

These guys are awesome. Had made an appointment at the nearby Toyota Dealer but when I arrived I was told that it would take a few hours before anyone would even touch the car, I had made he appointment two weeks in advance for this very reason! I didnt have time to wait, so found these guys and gave them a call, they were happy for the business and did an awesome job, charged less, and the mechanic didnt mind me hanging out in the shop and getting to know the workings of the car better, oh and they were about 20% less expensive!Tl;dr: awesome shop I would definitely say go there

Tom the owner was straight up, and got to my car as soon as I got there. Figured out the problem on my Lexus and fixed it fairly quick. Guaranteed to come back.

They are money hungry. I had a simple repair that costs no more than 200 and they came up with all these extra recommendations to fix my truck (it only took me like 60 bucks to fix my problem at the end of the day). You can tell they cashier just wanted money. an estimate of over $1,300.00 was given to me and when I said no the cashier got mad.. nothing but rats in this place. do no go there.

My husband and I brought both of our vehicles to ToyoTech for service. Our Honda Civic needed a new air conditioner and our Scion was in need for a very overdue tune-up (both cars are well above 150,000 miles). The staff was incredibly friendly and was able to repair the air conditioner in the Honda and service the Scion. Needless to say, both are running like champs and I am very happy with the service. They are fast and more affordable than dealer service shops, plus, they take the time to know you -- their customer service is definitely some of the best Ive experienced in Merced. I wont take my vehicles anywhere else.
