Tried the box stores......nothing in stock and could only be delivered to store. This was a lot simpler and convenient. Lot easier odering from you than Lowes or Tractor Supply. Appreciate it.

Ordered online for a two hour pickup. Headed to the store and received an email saying that they don’t have enough stock even though online stated you have double my order on hand.Major inventory control issues.

I most recently visited Northern Tool in Memphis (summer ave) with a complicated trailer hitch issue. The first thing I noticed was that the staff was especially friendly. I wish I could remember the gentlemans name that went out his way to help me. He even got the GM involved. This entire interaction is highly unusual in todays world, and I can tell you I will be back to visit again soon. You guys have a great team and I thank you for your help!

Between the store front and the website its just chaos. They have this, they dont have that. $113 on Monday and then $199 on Friday. That needs to be delivered to your house at an added shipping cost, this needs to be delivered to the store. Only customer service can consolidate orders. Ordering at the store allows for only certain items even though they are displayed in the store. ENOUGH !

Drove 60+ miles for a fitting that said 3 in stock! Zero were actually available in stock! Manager did take care of me with fitting! See inventory still says 3 in stock.....sad..

Awesome store came in looking for a engine hoist so i can work on my car Walt recommended the strongway 2 ton hoist and even gave me some pointers on building my car wish i could give 10 stars nobody else in the city had engine hoist in stock

I called the 800 number got the nearest store to me and everyone was helpful and kind. The phone service was awesome, in this day and time people are rude on the phone so this was pleasant and I called my brother in Memphis told him about the store and he is going to try them out in person so I pray he had the same experience I had or better,

This store & staff is awesome, the store manager is very professional and nice when I was talking with him trying to find products . It’s hard to find good help when shopping in stores but this one was truly a breeze and made my shopping experience very pleasant . If I could give 10 stars I definitely would .

Tired of wasting my time with this company. Every time I check something online and it shows they have it and I get there and they dont have it or they cant find it. Thats time out of my life that I can never get back not to mention all the gas Ive spent. I did go back today to talk to the manager and the girl at the register said she was the manager which I highly doubt. How could she take care of anything when she would hold the line up. I think she was just covering for someone and especially when I asked for her name to call corporate she refused to give it to me.

I went in the store looking for a heater. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Even though she seemed to be busy Ms Tiffany stopped to take me to the heater section where I was able to get my heater. I definitely will be back in the future.

Store is clean, well maintained and organized. Service persons are very nice and friendly. It is not crowded inside and outside the store. Tools and parts are of good quality. Web search and online order are easy, fast and convenient. I purchased its 8 Ironton Benchtop Drill Press which has been doing excellent jobs that can even drill 1/32 holes precisely. Staying on its web for a few minutes and you will get a popup of $5 coupon code. You would get best deals to shop online and pickup here with almost no waiting time.

First time Ive shopped Northern Tool. So glad to have discovered it. Easy to navigate web site, none of those annoying pop-ups. The price for Item I bought and the prices for items I saved for later easily beat the price for the exact same things at Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot and Lowes where the prices were not only higher, but where Im bombarded with pop-ups and where download results for things I search are nowhere near what my search keywords are. (Diapers and flashlights when searching for scissors...Really???) Just goes to show....

Had the tool I was looking even when everyone else was sold out. Came through in a pinch this holiday season

This place will rip you off! I was charged 4.99 and 6.99 for two products that they said would be in in about 3 days, two weeks later I get the products and was charged 25.00 more because they had to change distributors.I also found that same products at another place for 1.99 and none of the delaying bs which costed me a customer and income!I say if your smart, youll NEVER shop at Northern tool!

Do not use their repair service. I was charged $70 to tell me my tool was broken. The only response I received when I asked why it was still.broken was its not my fault. Service is slow and forgetful and coupled with a high turnover rate I would take any repairs to Bartlett small engine or Colonial Hardware. Do not waste your time and money with this place.

I shop Northern Tool frequently. Like their products, web site, etc. went by the store on Summer Ave yesterday to purchase a transmission jack for use with a car lift. The jack was on sale which was great. I literally had to look for a sales person. After finding this gentleman he kind answered my question, stood there and watched me push the jack to the counter, the. Proceeded to walk past the check out counter and started lifting one end of a generator that was sitting there as if he was working out. The check out person was a nice lady. After paying he watched me walk out with a heavy jack and continued to play with the generator.I like Northern Tool and their products but people like this is what causes customer dissatisfaction and negative reviews.This is my first negative review.

1st time visit, Leon was a great help, he made my experience great.

I went in NT on 6/16/20 to buy a Stihl Curved Shaft Edger Model# FC 91. The website showed that they had 2 available. When I arrived they only had a display model that was missing the blade. The sales associate (who was very nice btw) said that we should be getting in some more tomorrow from the Stihl dealer. He offered to put a blade on the display model but I said Id just wait until tomorrow to get a new one in the box. The associate told me that the online inventory is usually incorrect. I looked online again and saw that they had 3 Model# FC 56 C-Es available. So I went back the next day 6/17/20 hoping that maybe the FC 56 was available but willing to get the FC 91 since the shipment was suppose to come in the next day. After talking to the same associate I was told that neither was available and the Stihl reps just send them inventory whenever they feel like it. So I basically wasted 2 trips to this store. It would be nice if your online inventory matched your actual inventory in the store. The only reason this review wasnt 1 star is because the sales associate was nice and accommodating.
