This is the oldest Whole Foods in Memphis area, and biggest too. The shopping experience is great. All the fresh produce, fish and huge meat section are simply good. They have a cafe, serving daily meals. I love eating there. On top of that their in house oven baked pizza! These are yum, almost can be compared with a good restaurant. The bakery section is another cherry on top, where I love their in houseBreads, muffins, pastries, etc all such baked goodies. Long story short, I love Whole Foods, period! Lol!

I just want to give Trina and Ben a shout out for being a awesome people! I come to this location several times weekly and I am so happy and grateful whenever I see them. I officially met Rodney tonight while shopping and he was very knowledgeable about the product that I was looking for while being oh so kind and I appreciate him as well. I just want to make sure that they get a big shout out because they have earned it ✊👏💯.

Great store to shop. Only problem I saw they have one employee that dislikes to work and walks off of the register when a customer is online. Seems to me she was hired because she knows someone in management.

Good stuff but they have a hard time putting all of your groceries in the bag so you leave thinking you have everything and drive 40 miles home to find they didnt. Its like when you go to a drive through and you have to check everything to see if they have you order right. Do better.

All of the cashiers are pleasant and professional. For anything Im short on, this is my go-to grocer.

I was there to pick up an order for Amazon Flex.. My pickup time was 2pm but order wasnt ready until after 3pm.. This was my very first order with Amazon Flex and didnt realize it would go this slow. But I will try and again and see if my second pickup order will be better..On another note the store is absolutely beautiful, clean, and well put together ❤♥. While waiting I purchased seedless 🍇 and 🍓. I washed them with a bottled water in car and they both were absolutely delicious as well as fresh..

This is a really nice Whole foods and has a healthy selection at their cafeteria for lunch. I like going here during my lunch break from work.

In my experiences at this location, the store is always clean and well-stocked, with great varieties to fit all needs and budgets. The staff are super friendly, and I feel valued as a customer. After years of the drudgery of shopping at other chain stores, I can say I actually enjoy going to the grocery store again, thanks to this Whole Foods and their awesome staff.

As a Whole Foods market its ok just like all the rest on regards to the food they have everything looks tired and badly maintained its unfortunate because I have been going there for years and the food used to be amazing there but lately it just looks horrible the only good thing they still got going for themselves is the pizza. So now anytime I want to eat at Whole Foods I just drive up the street to their other location which is absolutely fantastic.

I love Whole Foods. I purchase my Alkaline Water and fruit from them. I went tonite to get watermelon and cherries. Cherries were delicious; however I was disappointed that the watermelon wedge had gone bad. This is very unusual. The store is very clean and staff is absolutely fabulous and always willing to help you!

Took item back, but they could not find it with the credit cards I used. When asked if they could search BOTH STORES bc I shop at both. A female and a male both said they could not find the item. I was left feeling as if I stole the item!:( Bottom line, they both lied and were were inefficient! I found my receipt at home and the item in question was purchased at the Poplar/Exeter Store!

A great clean grocery store. Very organized and the prices are better than some other stores. They also carry a lot of healthier options that you may not find in other grocery stores. The staff of people are very helpful and polite i love it there.

Great store and AMAZING employees. We shop here every weekend, and like any other weekend when I was leaving, my car wouldnt start. Firstly, if my car did have to breakdown, I was thankful it was in their parking lot - I did not feel unsafe in the slightest, thanks to their security cameras, guard, well - lit parking lot, and plenty of people around. Secondly, after I went in asking for help, within minutes one of the managers, Johnny, had pulled up by my car and was helping me jump start it. Very helpful, kept me talking so I dont panic, and very kind. Appreciate all the work you do!!

This is the first Whole Foods location in Memphis. I love this location as well. I usually go here for breakfast or for my Amazon Prime pickups. Lockers are always clean and the store is always clean. Customer service is great as well.

Cashier was very rude didn’t say hello wasn’t polite I had a handheld basket I had put it on the belt and I was waiting in line for my turn so when my turn came instead of greeting me she rudely stated you can take your items out of the basket it wasn’t an asking it was in a very derogatory tone I have never had that experience at Whole Foods before I wouldn’t of even made sense for me to take my items out of the handheld basket Then she would’ve had to pick them up instead of just picking them out of the basket to scan them so it would’ve been twice the work now if she would’ve said something like ma’am would you mind checking your items out of the basket if that’s a company policy or something that’s fine it doesn’t make any sense but if she would’ve actually been nice about it and not treated me like another number instead of another human being I reported the situation to corporate and nothing was done about it no response or anythingIf you guys want your customers to come back and not go to other specialty food stores which is there are plenty in the city It might help to actually respond to customers complaints but maybe Whole Foods doesn’t care it kind of seems that way

I am a prime member. When I went to check out, I told the cashiers that I was a member. He then asked me to enter my phone number and when my phone number did not register, I was denied the prime member discount and not allowed to try another phone number.The customer in front of me was given the discount without question. This was not good customer service.

Good but not the old Whole Foods good. I miss the old Whole Foods before Amazon when you could get the jalapeno white cheese dip with the store made tortilla chips. You cant find them anywhere! I also miss the cheesecake bites. I dont know if the store made them or the would come pre-made. Even the jalapeno cheese cornbread has changed. Come Amazon bring them back.

Huge selection of health foods vitamins and things you may have hard time finding in reg groceries.Soaps lotions apparel hot foods fresh produce. Some items pricey others avg.I needed Shea butter akpi seed fennel powder vitamin e oil fish oil and fenugreek. All items there except akpi seed powder. Friendly staff...very clean

Wow. Just wow. I guess they must have amazing stuff in the store, but I wouldnt know.I went there specifically for some fresh fish, which they had. But their customers are the rudest people I have ever seen.The store was packed, and you couldnt even get down the aisles. If you stopped to look at something on the shelf, the people would literally push you with their little cart and glare at you.You cant shop here. You have to go in, go exactly where you need to go, get exactly what you came in for, and leave.I didnt get anything other than the fish because I didnt know where things were in the store and the shoppers didnt allow you to browse. You had to be herded like cattle.I wont be back.

Cashiers and floor personnel are great, friendly and go out of the way to help. My favorite person in the meat department is gone and I think that department has gone down since she has been gone.

Every time I go in this store I have a problemIts like I am asking them/staff for a favor while spending hundreds of dollarsThe staff is inattentive not concerned not trying to help and even evasiveAfter several terrible visitsI will NOT returnI only stopped for a smoothie it took me 23 min to find help to make the smoothieAfter being ignored by the bakery I finally went to customer service where they called the bakery asked about the smoothie stationThen whomever she was speaking with wanted to know what I wantedDuhA smoothieIt was more than obvious this man did NOT appreciate having to make it and showed no courtesyI left feeling like I was a problem because I wanted the smoothie

Great store.But I almost fell to tears... out of joy. I went to the bakery to ask about ordering a cake. My daughter cannot have artificial food dye of any kind and I heard this place decorated cakes with no artificial food coloring. When they told me they could still decorate a cake with no artificial dyes... I almost cried real tears. It means so much to me that a major company is doing something to rid us of dyes.

Love Whole Foods! I drive from 2 hours away just so I can get fresh organic produce as well as as many free trade products I can get. Nashville Whole Foods has a better selection and a lot nicer as the Memphis Whole Foods I went to had so many cardboard boxes feeling Isles and in the front. We might be able to blame that on but it was not as professional as normal. The beer selection wasnt as good either.

Love the hypocrisy. All about saving the planet, yet their bathroom is dirtier than some gas stations. Never have enough checkouts. Feels mostly like an Amazon hub now.

Store is definitely not what it used to be. Used to be a lot cleaner and actually smelled like it was being cleaned on a regular basis.

Ive been in Memphis TN for 21 years now. Was doing Uber, Ubereats and Lyft 3 years ago. Ive passed this store seems like a thousand times, but never had a chance to stop or shop. Now my wife is eating 🦀 Crab legs and this was the only store she could get exactly what she wanted. Ive ordered from Amazon too many times, never had a real reason to keep the Prime Membership until now. Cant wait to come back and explore the store the way I would like too. Thanks to the young man who told me to come down to register number 1.

I normally dont go to these ridiculously fancy places, hahahaha, I am a poor interpreter (after all), Whole Foods-Whole Paycheck but tonight I was dying for some extremely lightly sweetened mint tea and I found these amazing and delicious beauties that made love to each and everyone of my tastebuds. It was love a first sight!! I highly recommend them. Gotta give them a try people!!!! You wont be disappointed!!! Get them at Whole Foods, where else.....

I have always loved whole foods for the different foods. I am happy that they are recognizing amazon prime members with discounts. This helps. They have special days when this is offered. Discount should be everyday but oh well. Still nice shopping with a great variety of items.
