Great customer service and clean inside. I always call in advance and place my meat order and other items. As soon as I arrive, it’s always ready. Either I walk in and pay or they know when I arrive and place everything in my car.

Visited a couple of weeks ago for some chicken and they had an amazing staff and a wide variety of spices to use. Great middle eastern grocery store!

Great Halal market!

Great store, lots of Fresh Baked Breads and more!!! They have fresh baked meat pies, beef or spicy chicken, or cheese pie, my favorite! Go early in the day, they sale out most days. There is sometimes a lunch to go, in their deli. Mom makes it! Some days they make fresh hummus, or sweets. Nice People, Work here, so very kind. I have shopped here about ten years. Good Prices too!!

Ever widening array of Middle Eastern meats, veggies, staples spices, sweets, freshly baked pita. Only place I can find brown Basmati rice. Friendly family runs the store, been going there for years

I love this place! Fresh pita bread and hummus daily. The butcher shop has some of the best meat in town. If you cant find your Mediterranean food here, then you probably dont need it. They have the largest selection that you will find anywhere in Memphis. The people that work there are nice and helpful, and will help you with recipes too. I go there every time Im in the neighborhood for pita.

So friendly and well stocked!! And the best thing here is FRESH PITA BREAD! Everytime I come in, the pits bread is still warm from the oven!! So yummy!

Always can find what I am looking for here. for such a small store they seem to have a TON of options for each item that one might be looking for. The daily baked pita is a serous win and should be enjoyed by all. Staff is quick to give advice to novice Middle Eastern Eater.

Very friendly staff and good place to shop

When I first went there the sons of the owner got me to buy homemade falafel dough and Falafel press and it was delicious. Since then the owner said they no longer offer the Falafel dough and so I quit going there cuz theres markets closer to my house its too bad it was really good Falafel dough. I called and asked if they had dough and they always say try tomorrow. My friends and I are so disappointed.

Friendly service, great cheeses, boreks, lamb, bulk tea, all sorts of spices, cookies, baklava, olives, olive oil, pita bread...I always enjoy buying here.

Your to go place if you’re looking for arabic food or supplies. Operated by the family who owns it so you’re definitely getting a great customer service. Their butcher’s meat is the best; clean and fresh.

Man this place has good stuff! I had some food of the prepared food and it was awesome!The staff was really, really friendly too.

Its an okay place its not that organized. The store doesnt smell good. Their vegetables are not fresh it looks old. The downside to the store is there hours they open at a very late time around 10:30 I wish that they can be able to open it at an early time around the 9 a.m. they do not carry fresh bread.

Good place to buy Goat and sheep Meat for a reasonable price in Memphis. Rice and Eastern Spices are available in this store. Items like Bakery, Dresses, Cosmetics, pulses and nuts are available in this store. Pans and Cooking Vessels for making Briyani are available here.

If you are looking for fresh chicken with cheaper price... Barakat is the best in the area.I tried many places, all of them have old chickens and you can notice the defrent from the smell and the chicken color before and while cooking. But Barakat has the fresh once every time.
