I decided to get my morning Joe from a black owned coffee shop this morning and I am glad I did. This a nice cozy spot with and old school vibe (music). Its spacious and clean and the coffee is good. I bought a mug. I love the names of the coffees and the sayings on the t-shirts. Very Memphis.

Tried this place off of the reviews and was not disappointed. I got the bourbon macchiato and the sweet potato loaf, both very delicious. Staff member was friendly and the atmosphere was very chill and relaxed. Already recommended to a friend and will definitely visit again.

My husband and I stopped here a few weeks ago for morning coffee while passing through Memphis on our way home from vacation. I think I ordered the bourbon caramel latte? It was amazing! The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the building overall, as well as the bathrooms, was very clean! Will definitely come here again if we are ever near Memphis again! 💜☕️

Believe the hype, the ratings, the comments. This place is pretty damn perfect. The service is so good that I didn’t want to leave. The coffee was so tasty, and my pastry was warm and delicious. The music set the mood and the staff welcomed a nice little vibe. I can’t wait to go back!

Do yourself a favor and visit! The Americano I had was delicious! Smooth, full of flavor, no aftertaste. Lemon blueberry scone wasnt overly sweet. Definitely returning.

I LOVE having a coffee spot in my own neighborhood. The staff is beautiful and friendly. The coffee and pastries are delicious. The only thing is I wish they would add breakfast items to their menu. But who knows that may be whats to come in the New Year. I dont want to keep giving Starbucks my money.

Dropped into this place when driving through Memphis on the way to the Gulf. The staff were super friendly and recommended the Zippin Pippin which was amazing! I had the cold/blended version and it made me wish we had a Muggin Coffeehouse back home.

I am an avid coffee drinker. I stopped in Muggin and I must say I am impressed. I had a hot medium roast coffee with hazelnut and the lemon scone. Both were delicious and the service was great. I will definitely be back!

We ordered the iced bourbon macchiato, iced latte, and a few different baked goods. The muffins we so moist with great flavor. The coffee is a must try that is not too sweet with a perfect coffee flavor. The kids are already asking if we can visit again tomorrow.

Update- star added!!They’ve done it. I overheard the baristas talking about the science of the coffee and espresso. 10/10 will come back for more.Bought a whole bean bag of their dark roast. Looking forward to trying it!——Stopped in this morning for my first coffee visit! Great customer service. Had an iced white chocolate mocha and grabbed a cookie to go. The actual coffee in the espresso tasted great, but the baristas still need some training on making the iced latte and ensuring the coffee and the syrup mix in well. The sauce was at the bottom and you just taste that initially. Will be back in a few months/weeks to see how they’ve improved!

My wait is over...I tried Muggin Coffee Shop and was not disappointed in the littlest. This spot exceeded everything I thought it would be. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable in helping us chose the right drinks. The place felt homey and a place for everyone. The decor was so inviting, it just felt comfortable and cozy...Now the drinks, wow, wow, wow. From the first sip of my Bourbon Macchiato, I was hooked. The caramel and the Bourbon flavoring. I had mine with almond milk and it was the most delectable drink Ive tried in awhile. Seriously, it was impressive. My friend had the Muggin Main and she raved on it as well. This coffee shop is done right and I really hope they bring one closer to where I live because it was a 25 minute drive to get there but I promise, until that happens I will take that ride. 😊. So happy with this place!!

I am an avid coffee drinker, even possibly an addict. I visited Muggin coffeehouse today. Let me just say it was one of the best ( if not the best) iced bourbon caramel macchiato I’ve ever had!!!! My only complaint is, I wish they were more visible on the main Street. Location is everything. Wishing you much success in your craft! I will definitely be back!

Muggin is fantastic! The staff are so friendly and charismatic, the coffee is delicious, and the atmosphere is so inviting. I got a Bourbon Macchiato this morning and it was so, so good. I cant wait to go back and try more of their drinks, especially the Eggnog Latte! If youre in town, definitely give Muggin a try.

Today was my first time here and I gotta say the coffee is waaaaay better than Starbucks or wherever else I’ve been in Memphis. The light roast is delicious first time I’ve tasted coffee and never wanted sugar (it’s usually a struggle without sugar and I have to force myself lol) I’ll definitely be back often

Stopped in to see what it was about. Place was very nice..clean the cashier (a very young lady) was so pleasant and the environment was stimulating, bright and airy. Got a coffee to go. Coffee was fresh and smooth in taste. Wanted one of the scrumptious looking desserts but will have to make another trip for that. Would recommend for your coffee shop needs

Staff was amazing! Friendly upon entering. Coffee is delicious. I tried the Muggin mane beverage hot. Sooo good. I also tried the tomato spinach muffin and lemon blueberry scones. Try them both YUM!! This was my first visit and I will be back!

First time visit and my experience was great. I had the zippin pimping and it was delicious. Far better that the Carmel frappe and Starbucks. I also tried a cinnamon pecan scone and it was so moist and sweet. I highly recommend giving this spot a try.

This place is so good. Whitehaven has been overdue for a coffee shop and Muggin is perfect. The coffee is delicious and so are the muffins. I cant wait to try the fall flavors.

In all honesty, this place is headed for great things. I went around the time where they first opened up. It was a LOT of hype for Muggin, so the line was insanely long. I had a 30 minute wait for my order (but you’d expect that seeing how long the line was, duh) and when I finally got it, nothing was missing and it tasted better than I expected.I went with my mother and she’s not as hardcore into coffee like I am, so the person at the register quickly yet efficiently informed my mom of all the different ways to have a coffee there. I’m sure as time progresses, they’ll have more registers and/or a bigger team to work with.As a newly opened black owned business, I see great things happening for this store with time.

The food is amazing!! The drinks are FANTASTIC! I happily make that 30 minute drive to Whitehaven every chance I get. I LOVE IT HERE!!

We stopped by on our honeymoon road trip through Memphis after reading the reviews and are so glad we did. We loved the sunshine-y atmosphere, friendly folks, and open floor plan. We quickly gulped down a delicious Bourbon Macchiato, red velvet cupcake and Cortado. 🧡

I came here for the first time and enjoyed it. Clean & welcoming atmosphere, very delicious drinks & pastries, and great service.Please understand that it may take a few minutes to receive your order because the lines are long. If you can sit in Starbucks busy drive thru for 20+ minutes, you can be patient with Muggin for half of that time frame.

Excellent customer service and their drinks taste amazing. I have been here more than once at this point and have had over five beverages, so consistency is on point. This will become my regular go to stop for my caffeine fix and I plan on making my way through the menu. I love the atmosphere. The staff is helpful in explaining things. Sturdy WiFi. Modern equipment and tech. Business is booming right now, and I will be here even when the traffic mellows out to the regulars and the staff is more used to dealing with the ebbs and flows of the peaks in the day. This was opening week and kinks were being worked out and customers were lined up excitedly out the door. The espresso was strong, but not bitter and had a sizeable amount of crema. This was my test of a great pulled Americano. So good I almost didnt put my usual cream. I definitely didnt use my usual honey. A true coffee shop is not about the sweet frozen drink in my mind. Its the hard hitting beans. And they got that right. Although they make a mean Zippin Pippin too.
