She is kind, courteous, and works hard to problem solve and find quick solutions. I moved to Memphis two years ago and I’m glad I stumbled upon this place and their great service. Highly recommend !

I had an amazing experience at this Pep Boys location. When I arrived I was treated with a kind sir by the name of Brandon. I had many questions and he answered them all with great detail. New tires were put on as well as routers for the front tires and new breaks. It was quite busy though I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time! I will be coming here from now on because of the great service and decent pricing.

The Solaris tires I bought for my Lincoln were fairly inexpensive and USA made by Cooper tires. No road noise, great traction and they ride good. The guys at this location did a great job especially because they had to get the wheel locks off without the wheel lock key! Great job!

Long wait for technician to show up to work, homeless man wandering the shop, and greatly overpriced oil change! Details below.I had an oil change appointment for 7am on a Saturday. I figured I wouldnt have to wait long since I had the first appointment of the day, but sadly I was wrong, because the technician hadnt showed up for work. I waited awhile hoping he would show up. At 7:30 I was about to leave but the woman at the front desk said the technician was on his way. Im not sure how typical this is, but they need to get some reliable employees. If you cant be trusted to show up to work on time, its hard for me to believe I can trust you with my car. Also the point of making an appointment is to not have to wait a long time. Once the technician got there, the oil change was done after 45 minutes. I was there for almost 2 hours total due to the wait, which is not acceptable for an oil change appointment made in advance. The woman at the front desk wasnt rude, but she wasnt particularly friendly and didnt apologize for the inconvenience.The TV in the waiting room was really loud and unpleasant. A homeless man came inside and walked around and made himself a cup of coffee, and the woman working there never said anything to him. He left and came back several times while I was there. Apparently they welcome non-customers coming inside and loitering and making their customers uncomfortable.Also, their prices arent listed online, and they were extremely pricey for an oil change. A full synthetic oil change is $89.99! That alone would keep me from going back, but combined with the other issues, this was a pretty outrageous experience. The reason I chose this place was because of their good reviews, but I have no idea how they got good reviews! I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

This place got us two new, odd sized, trailer tires and a new tire for our Ford Escape on a Saturday morning on our trip from Texas to Ohio. They were top notch, very professional and reasonable prices. Great job !

$24.04 out-the-door oil change when bringing own oil & filter. The only place I know of that offers this courtesy for my Subaru which requires 0W-20 synthetic (In the past, Subaru head gaskets required replacement at 100k miles if the engine was not cared for properly - the oil is a necessity, whether or not one can afford the expense. Here, I can afford the expense.). The only vehicle service shop managed by a female and with female employees. Outstanding that this business supports equal rights & equal pay. Pep Boys Store # 6402 treats me with kindness!

I originally chose Pep Boys because the prices are competitive. Since Ms. Charlotte and her crew are super nice and get things done quickly, they are often very busy which speaks volumes about customer satisfaction, but I just come back until theres no wait. And then theres very little wait because they get me in and out quickly. You couldnt ask for a nicer, more professional, friendly staff. From the very first time I visited, Ms. Charlotte and her staff from the sales counter to the garage all treat me like weve known each other for a lifetime. Thanks for being available in midtown!

Went to this location in July for a wheel alignment. Im having to get another wheel alignment in August a month and a half later. I will not be bringing my vehicle back to this location.

I freaking love this place especially with Wes working here. Charlotte looks a little unpleasant but dont let it fool you, shes really a sweetheart. My wife and I just got a Kia soul and found out it had bald tires.. We were trying to get them replaced with new ones under our warranty but NOBODY could help us get new ones. We came here because we knew that Wes was familiar with the warranty company we were dealing with and sure enough, he was able to get us all 4 NEW tires through the warranty with no problem. He has great customer service and hell stop at nothing to make sure you stay on the road! Amazing and painless experience!

These guys were great! My husband and I were stranded on the side of the road when a very sweet woman picked us up and drove us to this Direct Tire location. It was a few minutes after closing time but they still went out of their way to help us and get us a new tire! We were very grateful and will be going back for the other 3 tires next week!

Took my car to the Pep Boys on Poplar at 1 pm to patch a slow leaking tire. She estimated the wait at 1.5 to 2 hours. I left the car there and returned at 4 pm. They had not even started on it. At 4:40, I asked how much longer? This is when they STARTED working on the tire. They finished at 5:30!! Nearly 5 hours to patch a tire? Really? Outrageous! This place needs new management.

I recently had my company vehicle in to be checked out for my check engine light. Mark and the crew at the shop not only corrected the issue but went over the rest of the vehicle to discover rotor/brakes issues as well. I have taken my vehicle to the Poplar location many times and have been treated very well and always been pleased with the service from all of the employees. This shop is highly recommended by me!!

Had car towed there for two new tires and headlight replacement. Tires 👍👍. But did not fix headlight, just took my original bulb. REFUSED TO REFUND charge for headlight they did not fix. Claimed no manager or corporate exists to call or lodge complaints. Clerk, Bryan Scott, the clerk, was high as a kite and could barely run the register. Refused to refund the money, but asked for the receipt, that he was holding in his hand. Thieves, liars, con artists. Terrible. My first and last visit. If my husband isnt happy, nobody is happy.STILL CANT DRIVE BECAUSE DONT HAVE A HEADLIGHT!!!UPDATE: 1 Day laterWe were told by corporate to call the manager. BRYAN SCOTT refused to let us speak to the manager, leaving us on hold for over 20 minutes.UPDATE: 4 DAYS LATERAutomated Call from corporate asking if problem was resolved, we said no.Then got accusatory call from manager, evidently angry that we kept the case openpepboys manager STILL refusing to refund our $33-- for the headlight they didnt fix well enough to burn for even 15 minutes, INSISTS that since it came on once, they fixed it.Refusing to refund our money, trying to con us into taking the car back to a different location. Made no apologies about Bryan Scotts behavior, refused to take responsibility for bad repair, blamed it on us.UPDATE: 4 1/2 daysManager called us at 5:56 pm on Friday night (after dark, when she knows we have broken headlight)Stating that IF we can get there WITHIN 30 MINUTES she will refund our $30--Been here 2 minutes, Bryan Scott and lady manager are just looking at papers, making my husband wait.Took 15 minutes, but they finally figured out how to refund the $30. Husband said they were polite. Raising review to a 2, but will never use this BRAND again.

The service here was wonderful! They gave me a great deal on 4 tires and an oil change. The staff was super friendly. They gave me a free Lyft to work. My car rides great. I will be going to them from now on.

Very friendly staff and fun to talk to. Got in and out without an appointment in a very reasonable time. They also took the time to explain what all they saw on my car while they were in there; which was much appreciated (as I know its my old junker but it is nice to know what particular issues Im going to have to face soon to keep it running).

Went in for an oil change. You can check their website for a coupon. Had great service. They didnt over charge me and they gave me clear quotes on some maintenance I need done. Theyll even give you a ride to work if you need it.Will definitely go back.

If I could give less stars I would. This place has the worst service ever. My mom went here to get my oil changed because of a coupon she received on her utility bill. When it was time for my oil change I went somewhere else which then explained to me that Pep Boys put on an oversized oil plug and didnt want to touch it. I called Pep Boys to explain and they told me to come in I was prepared to pay for my oil change however they explained I didnt have to pay anything. They told me my oil was changed and I had a new plug. My mom always told me to check my car after an oil change. I waited a few days after but Im glad I did because I had no oil in my car . I called to tell them and they asked was there oil on the ground because it had to have been a leak. DONT GO HERE. My mom took her car elsewhere and they did the same thing to her oil plug.

Charlotte was fast and efficient and the mechanic helping me was as well. No one tried any high pressure sales or tried to push any additional services I didn’t want.Waiting area was clean and provided ample coffee. My work was done well before the estimated time.

He told me that his knowledge was excellent he explained things about how to choose tires for his truck he really never considered. Also said he was friendly and very professional. Todd and his staff know what they are doing. The location is great, the facility is great, and they know how to help you with good service. I had a tire go down and it was an off brand tire, but they were able to find a replacement that matched with no problem. I have bought new tires for the jeep, the explorer and my f150 here. they explain all options and check your vehicle out, and always check and set the alignment so that your tires dont wear out early. Good people, good service.

At this location, the Service Rep by the name of Wes, was the nicest, most concerned and patient rep Ive ever had there. Justin, the Mechanic was also very kind and patient with Me. He took the time to visually explain what was wrong and answer My MANY QUESTIONS. Their boss was also helpful in answering a few questions. I thank them....And I will be back.

I took my truck in to be assessed due to a presumed transmission issue. I was accelerating and not gaining any speed and remaining stuck in or around 30 mph with some shaking. I told the guy what was going on and he said he would look at it...this cost $50 FYI. Thirty minutes later, he calls me and says that it needs a new transmission. This is a 2001 Chevy Silverado with 81,000 miles on it. He then tells me that a transmission is going to cost $3,600.I called another repair shop and asked them what they would charge to do something similar...$2,100.00. Also, they said with that make and model that it would be a re-build regardless and there was no way that the cost would be that high. I took my truck to that other repair shop where they assessed it for FREE and found that it was a quart low on transmission fluid and had 3 cylinders miss firing and that the transmission wasnt messed up at all. It was apparent that these guys never even looked to see what was wrong with it and they made an assumption about what was wrong. I payed $50.00 to have a guy guess what was wrong with it and I was no better off than when I took the thing in there to those guys. These guys were obviously trying to make some money off of me and I felt completely taken advantage of. I would not recommend these guys to anybody. Go to Steves Tire and Auto on Poplar...its 2 minutes West of here. Youll be glad you did...I promise.

This is the only automotive shop around for miles that took me in almost immediately!!As I was traveling from Phoenix AZ to Boston ma with my customized 93 5.0 I ended up with an exhaust leak that was killing my gas Mileage and overall a nucence. Charlotte and her employees where all very nice and very understanding from the minute I walked in. They took me in almost immediately. The mechanics figured out that my bolts just needed to be tightened for the exhaust header and didn’t charge me for such a small fix. Also they gave me a great price and to do my brake pads and rotors! The mechanics admired my car and treated it with the upmost respect! Which is huge for me because I do not let just anybody work on this vehicle because I have over $20,000 invested in it. They brought me in the garage to show me the problem with the header and let it cool down to tighten the bolts up and kept me updated the hole time. I got treated with respect from everyone here and if I’m ever around and something happens to my vehicle this will be the only place I would go to. Thank you Charlotte and her team for the good experience! I will %100 recommend this pep-boys to anybody whether you have a car like mine or a beater. I have an uncommon sized tire and generally am calling around the city looking for a place that has it in stock & for a reasonable price. I have used this location for tire services for years (through a name change as well). Both the gentleman that I spoke with over the phone and Charlotte who was working the front were nothing but helpful and polite!

It all was going very well until the warehouse delayed in filling my order for two new Michelins......finally........two hours and twenty minutes later I was able to go home.All three sales folks were very helpful and informative in describing the product.

I went in today simply to get a flat tire replaced. I had put on the spare tire myself before arriving. I have changed tires and put on spares on numerous occasions, and so I know what I am doing.I drove in, they checked me in, and I waited. They came back with the new tire on my car rather quickly, but then told me that one of the lug/hub posts had the thread stripped from ‘who ever put on the lug nut’ and the post broke and ‘the car would still drive’ although one lug nut and post was broken.A very heated discussion ensued between the manager and myself which included the manager claiming I had been abusive and irate since I walked in because I ‘objected to giving out my address and phone number,’ which is true, but it was a simple polite rejection and I after the lady explained why they needed it, I (reluctantly) gave my information.The manager’s stance was that they were not at fault and it was ‘someone else’ who stripped the threads on the post, and their mechanic, through SOP, could not help breaking the post in order to get the lug nut off to change the tire.My stance was that I knew I put the lug nuts on properly, and that everything was fine when I drove up, and whatever happened, happened in their shop, so they should take responsibility for their actions in their shop and fix the post, free of charge.The manager insisted that they were not responsible. I stated that was ‘not good business practice’ and that I am the customer and in order to encourage future business he should take responsibility and fix the issue free of charge. That’s when he claimed that I had been irate since I walked in the door (which can lead any reasonable person to think his actions were punitive in nature but I leave the reader to decide that for themselves) and that he was ‘trying to protect his technician’ - from what, I do not know. ??But my point is this. My lug nuts and posts were fine when I drove up. It was broken in their shop! So, the rest is speculation. Anything could have happened in their shop to actually cause the breakage. The technician could have taken the lug nut off and put it back on, or accidentally tightened it and broke it that way. Anything. And the unfair thing to me is that there is no way I can ever know what happened, and they know that. But what I do know is the manager made it clear in our discussion that he was not concerned about losing customers and was concerned about protecting his technician.As an aside, I put the spare on by hand. They use machines to screw and unscrew lug nuts. Which is more probable in this situation - that my bare hands which felt a correctly threaded lug nut somehow stripped the threads, or that something happened in the shop and they broke my post by making a mistake?Finally, their decision to refuse to take responsibility is bad customer service, not good business practice, and for me, it MORE THAN DOUBLED MY BILL!So, to summarize, what matters here is that the hub post was broken in their shop, so they should take responsibility for what happens in their shop. While I am sure that others may have had a good experience here, for the above reason, I did not. They did nothing that shows me they respect me as a customer, and they are clearly, at least in my case, not interested in satisfying the customer, but instead more interested in protecting their own, even if it means more than doubling the charge for the customer (me).So I cannot recommend using this establishment.One final note, I took my lug wrench out after I got home to carefully test the lug nut on the new hub post, and took that lug nut off and saw some metal shards on the new post, and the lug nut was unusually difficult to turn, so it is my sneaking suspicion that they messed up the new hub post and stripped those threads because it is not screwing in correctly. But since my experience was so poor, I do not feel comfortable trusting them to fix what I suspect is yet another mishap/mistake, made by them.

5 star service ( I mean what more could you ask for with a A.S.E master certified mechanic on hand. Had a major exhaust leak, was getting poor gas mileage and feeling a major loss of power, they took me right in, got me up and running,( not liars and thieves, they shoot straight from the hip,not like a lot of those scabby little shops) bottom line thought it was gonna be more than what it was, so while I was there I had them throw on new rotors and brakes. Oh and I have a antique mustang with tons of modifications ( I DONT LET JUST ANYONE TOUCH). Oh and fellas on top of all 👆🏻 The owners name I believe is Charlotte ( drop dead gorgeous!!!

I have been a customer since 1996 & purchased the All Car Care PGK in 2008 as i just got a 2007 Honda Civic. This has saved me so much time & money. Very good deal unless one changes cars every few years. I still have the 07 with only 38500 miles and continue to see these guys several times a year.

My boyfriend and I came in ( a bit desperate) with both of our cars and HOUR before closing the night before THANKSGIVING. We apparently had 12 nails in the tires between the two vehicles. These gentlemen were more than fair and accommodating. They were so polite and gave us a fair deal. We would definitely recommend them to a friend!

I was greeted with a very unfriendly and a little hostile What do you need? When I said I had a reservation, which I definitely did, I was treated like I didnt and didnt know what I was talking about. I was also told that they couldnt complete my oil change because they only had 1 tech, which is understandable, but the shop was completely empty. It was my first and last time. Im not the type of person to typically say this, but I felt like I was treated rudely for reasons that arent politically correct. I have no other idea to explain why the service I received was so bad.

My grand granddaughter went there due to having a nail in the middle of her tire. She stated she just needed to have her tire plugged. They stated that she needed a new set of tires. We just replaced the tires on her car a month ago. We asked them to put her tire back on, we were told, that its an liability to put her tired back on, and she needed to sign a waiver. Just to get her car back. They tried to sell her a 228.00 tired. They had her there for over two hours before they gave her back her car. I would advise anyone to go elsewhere. She went down the street and got her tire plugged for 15.00. On a scale from 1 -5. They deserves a (0). Our experience with the people there were terrible, and she had to ask for the cap that they took off of her car, they lied and said it was in the trunk. They lied, she checked before she drove off to the property, and it wasnt there. Liars and crooks. Dont go there.

I needed my tire changed fast, as my sweetheart was playing a show and needed to get to the venue. They got me in and out of there in 30 minutes and the staff was very polite.

Seriously the best auto service center in the downtown and mid-town area. The service is always fast and definately reliable, and I know that if Anthony says I need it, then I do. Its nice to know i can walk in and hand them the keys and relax because I know that my car is in great hands!!

These guys are great. I do almost all of the work on my cars, but certain jobs (tires, alignment, etc.) are just outside the scope of a home mechanic so I have to go to the pros. Im new to the area, so I picked these guys because they were nearby and got good reviews. Johnny is the new manager as of early 2014 and I had a lengthy conversation with him while waiting for my tires to be mounted and balanced. He seems genuinely interested in building strong customer relationships. The prices do seem just a bit high, but from what I can see, the shop is well run and they do nice work-- they even pointed out a leaking valve cover that I wasnt aware of. Ill definitely be back.

Had new shocks put on my Toyota on Saturday, after driving it I heard metal sound on the front left side.. Took it back in on Monday and they said it was the dusty convert on brake... Picked up the car art non and its still making the metal sound, so I guess I am retaking it to dealership to fix what they broke

Almost a month back I visted your shop in popular to replace my tires. I specifically asked the person for tires that have good traction. The salesperson told me that Kelley edge would be a good choice so I got that tires installed. A month later I felt that I rear tires were slipping in wet conditions when I asked that the store service person told me that there is nothing wrong with the tires and it might be because my new newly replaced tires have lower traction rating my existing tires that might be cause of traction loss.I have no clue why anyone would offer a lower traction rating tire when someone insists that they are looking for tires with better traction than existing tires. Now i stuck with these tires and highly disappointed with the customer service.

Fantastic work. Mario was a great sales person and was exceptionally knowledgeable regarding the service required. He was a pleasure to work with and Direct Tire is the best.

My car began acting weird a week after I got it back from them. Additionally, they over price their services. Now I take my car to Goodyear on Union.

The lady with the dyed blonde hair is extremely rude! She talks and looks at you like you are dumb, speaks loudly on her cell phone while she sits in the window of the lobby, and power walks awkwardly around the perimeter or the lobby.They LIE about wait time, saying no wait but then it is 40 minutes before they look at it. TERRIBLE customer service. No one seemed happy to be there-not the staff nor the other customers! Awful! Wont be back!

Mark and Tommy took care of my car and cares as if they were their own. These guys warm, caring and exemplifies great customer service.

Wes and Mario were able to provide knowledge on oil changes for my new car which assisted me in my decisions. I appreciate all the help.

I called earlier in the day to get pricing for an oil change and was given a quote of the phone after giving the make and model of my vehicle. I came in to get the oil change after work at 5pm and spoke in person to the same sale rep I spoke to on the phone and she confirmed the same pricing as before that was given on the phone. After my vehicle was pulled to the back she came back and told me that she put the wrong info into the computer and the cost of my oil change would be more then $25 more. This was after I gave her the correct info over the phone and after she got my vehicle info herself once I got to the store. She offered to put in a coupon but refused to match the original price she quoted me twice and this was due to her neglect. I fell to see why I should pay more due to someone else’s mistake that was repeated twice. I will not be doing business with Pep Boys again and will be going back to Firestone for upcoming tire needs and other needs from now on

Charlotte is GREAT. I explained to her I was back. Everything was done in a timely manner and I was able to make it to work on time for 2nd shift. Theres was two nails in my tire and she got it done.
