I fully understand taking precautions due to the virus as I take the same precautions myself.However, I called about an hour before showing up to make sure they were open on Sundays and they told me they were and I was welcome to come by. When I arrived I was told everything was appointment only and nothing was available until 3 days from my visit. This upset me considering I live a good distance away, was told to stop by, and ended up be turned away at the door. They will never see my business.

Terrance did an amazing job restoring it. The bike looks even the better than the day I got it back in circa 1988. I plan to pass it onto my children and grandchildren someday. We were a little nervous walking in at first because of all the high end bikes and gear but Clark was nice enough to walk us to their “beginner” store next door and introduce us to Kirby. He was GREAT to deal with and very helpful. We rode out on two new bikes and two kids trailers. Wow, what a staff! We are so glad we went to Pedaltown for my sons first bike–it was truly a great experience. Kirby and the rest of the staff made it a really fun experience for my 4-year old and 2-year old. They genuinely cared and engaged with us in a way that you rarely experience in retail. Of the three bike stores I visited on the same day your choice was determined by the quality look of the new bike and the on sale sticker price. I usually dont shop for bikes at multiple stores but shopping provided sticker comparisons helping me make a better decision. Also, the mechanic looked over the bike while I was there and agreed to store the bike until Christmas eve.

I had an excellent experience purchasing a bike and helmet this Sunday at Pedaltown! Any apprehensive feeling I had walking in quickly dissolved as the staff welcomed my partner and me immediately upon entering the clean, friendly shop. Kirby was very patient and thorough with explaining the different options of bikes (+helmets) that were available, and made sure that the style I selected suited my needs. Hes also a fellow Midtown/Evergreen resident, so he was able to give me relevant insight on road safety and routes I can take to local hot spots, which was a big concern for me. I was pleased with how quickly the process went, and the pricing options arent painful compared to other, less hands-on, shops around Memphis. The team in the glassed-in workshop was also very friendly and cordial, and I feel like I can be comfortable coming back in for tune-ups whenever needed. Once Im up to speed (ha!) on my new bike, well be joining in on Sunday group rides, too! Thanks, yall!

I have bad knees so it was really important for me to find a bike that fit me properly/was easy to ride long distances on without not being able to walk the next day. Kirby was super helpful in listening to the (laughable and confusing) things I thought I needed/wanted and help me find the perfect fit. He was patient while I tested out multiple bikes multiple times and was really great explaining how everything worked. Plus, I got a cheeseburger shaped flat kit so Im a super happy camper :)

The folks at pedaltown are truly the best! They have the best service and are incredibly friendly. We live near the shop and have purchased balance bikes for all three of our kids and stop by to check out their merchandise on a regular basis! We’re obsessed with their balance bikes. All three of our toddlers can ride them proficiently and they’ve held up great through all the roughness of our kids. The staff is really patient and accommodating with the kids as well! Can’t say enough good things about their products and service!

I went in and checked out a few bikes, and decided I loved the teal KHS they had on display, but I couldnt convince myself to spend the money right then. Actually, my husband reminded me we were saving for something. I wanted the bike. LOL. I didnt make my purchase that day, but when I decided I was ready to spend the money, I called and he took my order and measurements over the phone. So easy I did it on my lunch break. All the fine tuning and adjusting was done in passing on my way through midtown. They even stored the bike for me until I could come back and get it! Love the honest and personal service. It was great to be treated, as a new cyclist, with that level of respect and understanding. Ill definitely do business with them again!
