I came in midday on a weekday and they fixed my flat tire on the spot, in like 10 minutes for a super reasonable price. Great place, super helpful people! Ill be recommending them to everybody I know :)
I bought my first adult bike today. I havent ridden one since I was a kid, and I know nothing about bikes, really. So I was kind of intimidated to go in here, because I didnt know what I was doing. I shouldnt have been! They are extremely friendly and helpful (without being pushy)!! I loved this place. Great prices too. I was able to get a nice bike, a pump, a helmet, a bike lock, and some bike lights all for about $500. They also offer a free tune-up on the bike within 90 days of purchase. Great atmosphere and awesome staff. Also, there was a precious old shop dog who made the experience all the better. :)
Kindest most helpful folks you could ask for, if you need a bike or any accessories this needs to be your first stop!
Very fast service. Went in to get my bike tube fixed. We were in and out in about 15 mins if that.
Went into the store and no one spoke to me. Walked through the entire store and no one spoke to me. There was 1 customer and several people working but not one person acknowledged me.
I experienced the absolute worst customer service from this place. Avoid them at all cost! Too many bike shops in Memphis to spend your money at this place.
Brandon great salesman and knows his bike
If you are new to the bike world and need repairs; these guys know what they are doing and will shoot you straight. Trek Memphis, previously peddler bike shop wanted to replace everything on my bike (2017 trek domane 4.3). I am grateful i came here for a second opinion. They were able to get back in action by the weekend and stand behind their work. The trek store said it would take 3-4 weeks and these guys were able to repair my bike in 2 days. Highly recommend.
Ive not been in this bike shop before today. Upon entering I was warmly greeted and asked if there was something I could be helped with. I informed the very nice young man I was looking for a bike for my wife. He began to ask questions and based on our answers he pointed out some different bikes for our consideration. We purchased a bike while there. This place is fantastic. If youre in the market for a bike, go to other shops around but then go to All About Bikes. You wont be disappointed with the service and selection you will receive. Thanks Tommy James for a great experience! This will be my go-to shop in the future.
Great customer service. Also while eating for completion of bike, learn a lot about bikes.
Great bike mechanics here. They even have the tools for the old school bikes.
Awesome customer service and super quick repair on my sons bike. Definitely recommend!
While changing our brand new bike seat our seat post slipped down into the bike frame far below the frame. We could not pull it out or put our seat back on. Well of course this was a Saturday night and we didnt know what to do or who to go to. First we tried REI, even though their team was awesome, they couldnt repair it. ALL ABOUT BIKE saved us. Honestly, going to them was a win,win for us. This is def a problem that could cause a bike massive damage while pulling it out. Well they came up with a way to not cause damge by slipping another thinner post inside of our stuck one. Had our bike back in less than a day. Highly recommend these guys. We are customers 4 life.
Nice before he took the money, super rude after. Bought three bikes elsewhere and very happy I could support their competition. Wish it was possible to give less than one star.
I brought in my bike for repair. The seat post had slid down into the bike frame. The seat was all wobbly, couldnt sit on it to even ride the bike. Tommy and his crew were able to save it with a genius fix up. Really happy and definitely recommend this shop, even if you just stop by for a quick repair to a flat tire. You will feel valued and appreciated as a customer! He has a sweet lab who will come around the counter and greet you, too!
My son and I went to All About Bikes a couple of Saturdays ago to look at a trike that they had in stock. The man we spoke with was very nice and helpful. The following Monday we went back to purchase the trike. We were also looking at other bikes and we were asking a second man a few questions. He really didnt know anything so we decided to look around and come back later. When we started to pay for the trike and he realized that we werent going to buy any other bikes right then so he said very roughly to my daughter-in-law whats wrong with this bike? We tried to explain we had just started looking. He was very aggressive and rude.I was handed a receipt that had used bike on it. I was never told the trike was used, I was lead to believe it was new. In fact when I had ask on a phone call if it was used I was told no, that its just been test driven a number of times. I would have still purchased the trike but I would have appreciated not being intentionally mislead.I couple of days later we took the trike in for a few things that needed to be fixed/adjusted. The original salesmen from Saturday was there and would not look up from his phone when speaking to us. He was so overtly rude that it was really incredible. The handgrip kept slipping and when I said that, not looking up he said hairspray. I didnt know hairspray is how they stayed on - he knew I was new to this. We didnt even bother with anything else because why? He was being very clear with us. The chain had broken in his parking lot and he didnt really care. He did give us a chain but to put it on he was going to keep the trike for close to a week - 48 hours after we bought it. He ask what other things we had questions about- without looking at us. He was clearly rude on purpose. Bikes Plus in Collierville put the chain on that day and was happy to do it.Since we had planned to buy three more bikes in addition to the trike we have been to every other bike shop in Memphis and one in Alabama. Everyone of them set up the bike for the person riding, did a bike check, put on our accessories, etc. All About Bikes did not do this. We paid, the trike came off the showroom floor into our truck. Setting up the bike for the rider appears to be standard procedure at literally every other bike shop. As a double amputee and new to a trike it would have been greatly appreciated. It seemed like as soon as we paid we were dead to them. I dont appreciate the rudeness and being talked to so condescendingly. Ive since seen other reviews and comments and this sort of terrible behavior appears to a common occurrence at All About Bikes. My family and I ended up purchasing four more bikes in the last week but we took our money elsewhere. If you are in Memphis check out Bikes Plus - both locations, Trek and Victory. All are worlds above All About Bikes. All of them talked to us and treated us like human beings and valued customers. All About Bikes is dead to us now.
The manager is very arrogant and because everyone is buying bikes now he has gotten a lot worst. I paid for a tune up and pandemic happened, because I work in the medical field I missed my appointment and understandably i was put on the waiting list but here is the problem. I know people personally that brought their bikes in after me (for the same tune up) and received their bikes days before me. They were not regular customers. I’ve been there to check in my bike and heard how he talk to “certain” customers usually the first time buyers or people just starting cycling etc. He’s arrogant and have his picks and will look over you to please people he “likes”. With a wink and one yell to the service guys he will skip over waiting customers. If you like that type of service this the place. Me, I will never return.
Everyone is nice and friendly but why have a dog greet me before the humans SMH I’m literally not a dog person at all.
Great shop. Was looking for a new gravel bike to do some racing on this winter. Not wanting to go into the poor house doing so I had a good idea what I wanted. Tommy was super helpful, no pressure. Had a nice chat with Greg turning wrenches. Having worked for years in bike shops in my younger days it felt like coming home. Great place highly recommend them.
They Only have preference. For money custumers
Great friendly and knowledgeable. They treat customers right and Molly will greet you cheerfully. They go the extra mile to help you out.
On May 4, 2020, I purchased a bike from All About Bikes. An employee name Greg, assisted me with the purchase of the bike. He explained its various features and recommended I buy a 52cm bike for my height, which is what I ultimately purchased. Since my purchased, I have rode my bike a total of three times over a 5 day period. Today, March 10, 2020, while attempting my third ride through Downtown Memphis on the river crossing, the rear casset froze. The chain immediately popped off the casset and sprocket. I immediately called the store manager (Tommy). He advised me to bring it back to the store which I did around 3:45 pm that same day. After about an hour of waiting and watching the service technicians scratch their heads, I requested a refund from the manager (Tommy). I purchased the bike for $899 and only had the bike for 6 days!!! I was told by the store manager (TOMMY), We dont do refunds here, thats why we have technicians to fix bikes. My mouth immediately dropped. Please DO NOT BUY A BIKE HERE unless you are positively sure you want a bike (AS IS). No Refunds are not posted on the website or any other social media page. In my opinion I believe majority of the bikes are refurbished.
Very nice guys . Tommy responded to allMy messages via Facebook when I was asking for updates on my bike . He even told me he would let me know and keep me on top of the list when one that he thought I would like come in because mine was on backorder for awhile . Tommy showed great customer service skills and went above and beyond for me . He also kept his word and that means a lot . Thanks.
This store is awesome, the staff is friendly and Tommy is amazing!!! Not one time did I feel pressured to spend money but Tommy made a suggestion and it was a great one. Buying a 2nd one from him for my husband. Highly suggest this bike shop to anyone looking to get a great deal and a personal touch!!!
Waited 10 minutes to be greeted only to be told they don’t have any bikes for sales. Would not recommend this store at all..
I really just went to look with my husband, but they had a bike that felt great just even in the shop, and they had an awesome financing plan that really helped me get a better bike than I had originally planned on. And I do think that it will work way better for my situation. Then, Tommy adjusted it for me, and cleaned it all up, and even attached my squeaky bird for me. And, he fitted me for a helmet.I havent really ridden a bike since I was a kid, and since I basically just hopped on a bike and decided Id ride it come hell or high water, there were some tricks I didnt know, and Tommy showed me how to brake with a hand brake, and went over how to change gears and when. Also, I really liked loving on Molly, the shop pup. I couldnt have asked for a better experience, and they have bikes for every ability.I read a review that said that they were rude to customers who werent as into biking, or who werent as physically fit. I have to say, I did not have that issue at all. I am a large woman (a very large one, who has regularly experienced bias as a result of my size, so I know what it looks like), and I have back and knee problems that I need to be able to exercise without hurting them further. I also havent ridden a bike in years, and really only have minimal knowledge on any of it. Tommy was patient and laughed along with me on showing me how to work with a bike with features Im not used to, and showed me how to mount and dismount easily, despite my woefully short legs and sore knee (one of the tricks I mentioned above lol).
They are awesone!! The customer service is the best in Mem, Germantown and Collierville. I bought a road bike here last year and have my hybrid repaired here when needed. I recommend this location to all my friends. The whole team is knowledgeable and friendly.
Tommy and his team took great care of me!We purchased two mountain bikes and it was a excellent experience. One bike had to be ordered, they got it in very fast and immideately tuned it up so we could pick it up the day it arrived. GREAT selection of bikes and EVEN BETTER customer service.
I got the perfect bike from here two years ago and still work perfectly and looks new. It is a single speed, very smooth ride and beautiful design. I recommend this place to all my friends. They were nice and they hold the bike for me until i got the cash because i was not expecting to find a good bike with a reasonable price.
Beginner. Tommy helped me at Bikes Plus. Said they are geared for beginners. Had read a lot online about bikes, too much, as it was a lot to swallow. Tommy made it simple. Let me test ride a couple of bikes and sure, he had opinions of what he thought on the bikes, but in the end, he did not try to steer me to one or the other. Picked out reasonably-priced accessories, even telling me that I did not need padded pants just yet or fancy pedals. So no-selling. Great shop
Very nice and generous people to help me out.
Do not go here to get your bike fixed. They will get u killed. Took my bike in for some upgrades. My upgraded pedals fell off while I was riding on a trail.
Great cuetomer service, nice respectable crew, solid work
These guys are awesome, I can’t say enough about the customer service.
This is a great place with quality service, bike care education, and very reasonable accessories and services. I recommend it wholeheartedly. Dont go to Walmart or Target for bike accessories. All About Bikes has accessories that are cheaper and last longer.
My wife and I have bought two bikes from All About Bikes and have had a great experience every time. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I like that they are a family owned business and pet friendly. My wife and I couldnt be happier with our bikes and our service at this shop.
Very friendly associates, answered every one of my wifes questions. Made her feel at ease!
No pressure, great folks. Will def be back.
The best bike shop! We have bought two Haro bikes from this shop, excellent service, great prices, knowledgeable staff! Plus, if they don’t have what you need in the store they can order it! Repairs are always done within reasonable times!
I have bought 3 bikes over the past year and a half from this store. The owner was very helpful in assisting my wife and I as we searched for bikes with just the right level of features and we were able to find a couple of great bikes that met our familys needs and budget. On my most recent purchase, I knew exactly what I wanted and again Victor was able to get me just what I needed. True pros!
Excellent experience! We meet at the door with smiling face. He was very knowledgeable about products and he was able to help my husband and I find the right bike to fit our needs.
Friendly guys who definitely know what theyre doing. I brought an old bike in recently and the fixed it up very quickly for a very reasonable price. I expect to go back.
Very nice guys! We brought a bike it we didn’t buy there to be repaired & they helped us out. Next bike purchase WILL happen at All About Bikes!
Awesome shop...what a bicycle shop should be! Very friendly very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
The best selection of bikes in Memphis, I brought in an old bike for repair and I was so pleased with the work and the service that I came back in and bought a new bike. Great service, and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended!!!
Fantastic! Super quick service! Super quick fix. Didnt even charge me! If I could give 10/5 stars I would!
No greeting, how can I help you or anything!! Only THOSE BIKES ARE NOT FOR SALE!! haha, what a joke!!!
Amazing staff. Incredibly helpful. Will definitely go back again for any parts or services I need!
This is the worst place to go to for buying a new bike or fixing one. I unfortunately had the experience of both. The bike mechanic does what he wants to, not what u want done to your bike. He’ll give you any excuse not to fix your bike.
Great bike shop with knowledgeable and friendly staff. They sell all kinds of bikes including ebikes. If they dont have it they can order it.
Helpful staff. Not any recumbent trikes on the showroom floor. That was a bummer.
They advertise used bikes for sale but they never have any.
Thanks for the awesome bike! Perfect place for new and used!
Good staff. Nice selection of hybrids, mnt bikes, bmx, retro bmx, step bikes, bike strollers, parts. They Step their game up and carry SE bikes now
Everyone is always so professional and friendly
Best bike shop in town for old school rides.
True value of customer service! Only shop in Memphis I can recommend. Go check it out for yourself.
Great! I even bought a 2bike there!!
This shop has the best mechanic around, highly recommend this shop. Great service and price.
All About Bikes, LLC completely ripped me off.Being new to biking, I trusted the salesman to sell me an $850 bike that was suitable for me. I am 62 230lbs and they sold me a Medium 17.5 size GT bike, just to get it off the floor. After 3 uses, not knowing why I was having problems, a friend told me that the bike I had purchased was way too small. When I went back to All About Bikes to ask the salesman for a return or exchange, I was told how am I supposed to sell a used bike and the only thing you can do now is to try and sell the bike on Craigslist. I am extrememly unhappy with this level of service and would not recommend them to anyone in the Memphis area.
EVERYONE OVER FORTY STAY AWAY. If youre a super physically-fit young male, youll receive great service at this place. Otherwise, the owner of this store is an extremely rude, condescending jerk to anyone who doesnt have his level of bicycle knowledge. Case in point: I purchased a bike from him and came back explaining that, after riding it twice, the seat had become too low; he then showed me how to raise the seat, although he neglected to explain that I needed to check specific screws in the process (I guess this was just something anyone with mechanical and bike knowledge would know). When I came back again - this time when he was chatting with some pals on the front steps of the store and clearly not in the mood to talk to me - I explained that the seat kept lowering every sixty seconds after I raised it. This prompted him to roll his eyes before informing me - in a highly annoyed tone - of course not, this screw is too loose. After I asked him three times what SPECIFICALLY he was doing, he very tensely explained that I needed to tighten a screw after releasing a piece of metal to raise or lower the seat. Of course, this whole interaction could have been avoided if he had thought to explain this to me in the first place - but gee - I guess I should have known. For what its worth, I would not waste my time or money at this bike shop.
Great bike shop. Only place I could find in Memphis that rents bikes.
Pretty cool dudes
Great Service and selection of bikes. Only place I will go to buy a bike.
Friendly people and good service!
Great shop!!
Large selection of bikes. Kind and patient staff.
This shop is the definition of customer service. They went above and beyond to help me find a bike and also helped me install my bike rack. I will go there for all of my bike needs in the future.
Great service!
