Good store to purchase furniture, gift items, office furniture, used toilet, clothing and lots of different things. This store has lots of volunteers. Good place good service good karma. Please check this store before you buy somewhere else.
Good store to find random things, but it can be pretty slim pickings. I have been to other Habitat for Humanity ReStore locations, and this one was far less impressive than others. It’s a big store, but the quality and quantity of items is not as good as others. But they always get new things so it’s always worth it to swing by because you never know what you will find. It also could be that they were slim pickings because of COVID and people just are donating extra wood and building supplies like they used to.
I feel like Im treasure hunting whenever I go. You never know what they might have. Fr clothing, great books, granite countertops, tile. It just blows my mind.
Occasionally, there are very great finds but there is never much help in the store although there are always lots of volunteers moving around. A major plus is the store will provide info on a contractor who can help you get your large purchases delivered, which can be very helpful.Thrifters check it out if you havent.
Nice play to go for home improvement projects and also for cheap priced household goods.
Very clean-- especially after visiting the adjacent Dirt Cheap.. what a dump.Considering the inventory, the ReStore was very organized. Saw a handful of associates helping customers throughout the store. 👍👍
Enjoy finding old books to look through. Thanks.
Inventory was hit or miss. Prices are great if you find what you are looking for.
10000 billion stars. Good cause. Good prices. Good selection. And now open Saturday? If youre a homeowner you should 100% be buying and donating to habitat
Them prices sometimes are outrageous… They price like they manufactured it… $200 for a chair $275 for used 2(pc) coffee table set (yes 2pc. ) only thing discounted is the broken appliances… smh needs new management
Definitely bigger and better then most the goodwills
Great store. No help on sales floor.
RENEW, REFRESH, RESTORE!!! I spent a couple of hours there with a team of management and employees walking through the HFHs ReStore Donation process. This great organization started by former Pres. Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter is dedicated to helping those in need earn the privilege of home ownership and helping others restore their lives through what they call sweat equity . This is builds a sense of personal engagement and ownership in ones destiny and well-being. We took time to review current state, road blocks, and will determine the most impactful resolution after a round of understanding why these items present opportunities. The goal, donor growth, improved customer relations, repeat visits, and sustainable and documented procedures. This was an energized team ready to take on the opportunity to the organizations works to the next level in renewing, refreshing, and restoring customers lives.
Great stuff, better employees🙃
Catchers catch can. Some good. Today Im buying an old tube tv cabinet and turning it into extra storage in kitchen.100 bucks actual wood. Theres one for 85 but its cheap #%& chip wood. Some good some bad overall decent
They have furniture, appliances, cabinets, hardware, books and movies, household goods etc. Sometimes items can be a little pricey but overall its worth checking out.
This was my first time at Habitat for Humanity and I had a great experience!! Definitely coming back more often.
Frustrating. I bought an item online, called to confirm it was waiting for me, no one answered. Left message never got a call back. Went to pick it up drove over an hour to pick it up. Was your they sold it last week. Wasted 2.5 hours of my life Ill never get back. GrrrrrI asked why is showing sold to me on line they would sell it, was told they really dont update the site that often.
Got a nice chair
Grand experience to find so many bargains & the assistance from the workers was also quite pleasant!
Excellent customer service, crazy low prices and various items all the time to come in and check out
It seems I was not the early bird. They still had tons of flooring, and I found the shower fixture I was searching for. I left a nice whirlpool wall tub for the next person looking for one. Most of the appliances had been sold. Thats good!
I had a very nice experience. It was my first time going there and they have some really nice things there.
The 20% off store wide made my day!!Super nice & friendly helpful staff!! Thank you all for your help & the bargains!!
Didnt have much just lots junk! Maybe the next time.
Amazing Store. I was shocked at the prices.
Good used furniture to purchase thats available to the public. I bought accessories for my walls and bedroom
It had been some time since my last visit to this store. It did not seem to have nearly the selection as once before.
I hate that they sale pillow slip separate
Never know what youll find. The staff works hard to keep things going.
Always good.
All of the things in this place was already sold, that was worth buying, no organization, no sales person on the floor.
Good deals.. Items are priced fairly to offer good deals to the customers.. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable.
I went for the first time to see what it was all about. I ended up walking around and checking out everything they had to offer. Everything you could think of is available at a great low price.
They have absolutely nothing in that stores total wasted trip
Not much inside the store as they did have like two years ago Looks like STORE was going out of business
Rebuild, re-hab for less. Look out for mark downs when inventory is full. They tend to move items aggressively when they have to make room for incoming stuff. If you like a item, better get it when you see it
They have everything. I might be a woman but Im into fixing things and remaking things and this store has everything for your remodeling needs. Even kitchen cabinets. And its substantially lower than going to the big box stores. So items may have a dent or missing a screw but these are easy fixes for the price cut you will receive. Caulk, dressers, beds, entry doors, bathroom vanities, interior doors, light switch covers, furniture, appliances, you name it its probably there.
They had just what I needed
Drove by there on winchester rd did not stop and go in
Love this store! Always a GREAT selection. Good prices and money goes to a GREAT cause!
Very helpful
Sometimes you can find hidden treasures here. But, even though they are making money for a cause, cost of running a business items tend to be on the high end for resale. The employees here are very friendly. Always check their Facebook first to see if they have something worth the drive.
Good charity supporting store. .everybody need to buy in this store because they support lots of poor people. This store has wide supplies of communication, clothes, furniture, office furniture, and some time you find nice Antique stuff. To me this is a museum where you can find unique stuff like old door, you never seen before plus lots of great things. Staff is unbelievable ready to help you. Next time please try this store. Thank you very much.
You may run across some great deals here. They have lots of refurbish things for the home here. Some nicer and newer than others but overall you get what you pay for.
Aways good to find a deal.
Buying from this location helps mini with home needs greatly encouraged wonderful people working there
Well for one when u go in they look at u like u stole something already and dont have to ask a question or need something. They act like that is to much places like these need to train there Employees better because they have issues with the Customers when we buy something it is to help them pay there bills.
A lot better organized than last visit. Nice, easy flow through the store. Not overstocked and congested as in similar stores.
Mark is the greatest, knows his stuff, will help u in gods way.Stop by get thoses blessings.thanks
Great place to shop when youre redecorating. Several furniture stores donate there.
Terrible! They used to have some really great thing, at a reasonable price, but now most of the stuff is old and broken and too much. The stuff was given to, but you would sell more if you came off your prices.
If you can if what you need.its perfect and the prices are somewhat reasonable.
Decent selection but a bit pricey.
Starting out they were well priced and you could find some good deals. Over time they have started to raise prices or try to use eBay as a guide for prices when in reality they are overpriced.Ive found some good deals and go often. Id recommend finding them on Facebook as they post photos of the stuff every week.
Lots of cool stuff here...
Great place for sweet deals plus your purchases help people in need.
Great place to find deals to fix up home withSome things are expensive..but if you are a DIY this is the place to go.
Another one of those Never the same store twice. Theres all kinds of things from furniture to windows and doors. Its expanded into the space next to it and has a nice used book and records area. Make time to check it all out!
Some great deals some not so great have to go often and if you see it but it then!
Too overpriced for used goods.
Good washing machine. Thanks again.
Great deals!! Love this place!
Great...went in to find some windows for a small diy project found three double pane windows.... For under 30$ try and find that deal elsewhere... not likely...I always check these guys out for goodies when doin diy projects...bound to find something useful
Hey everybody. Here is my review of Habitat for Humanity. A wonderful charity that does so much good but kind of difficult to make donations. They sent me a gifts in kind link but as my donation was more than $5,000.00 they explained that I would need to obtain an appraisal. A representative did recommend The St. Lucie Appraisal Company who was able to use my list of donated items to prepare the personal property appraisal I needed. They also completed the necessary IRS Form 8283. I highly recommend Habitat for Humanity. Call The St. Lucie Appraisal Company if your donation exceeds $5,000.00.
Well the store was nice and the people where nice. But they have this black man who drives his truck and makes the deliveries... He was suppose to deliver my couch at 1 but here it is almost 5:30 and he keep saying hes on the way. I will shop at the store again but Ill never use his services again!!
Good deal on a bathroom vanity. Always find some things that may need a little TLC.
Good place for discounted merchandise.
Love to come and see what they have. Good price for merchandise
Its always in impeccable condition the staff is really attentive
Lots of deeply discounted home improvement items.
I always fine what Im looking for there...
Love this store. They have so much random household products here especially furnitures are really affordable. They sometimes also have brandnew furniture for sale.
I found doors, windows, cabinets at a great price.
Reasonable prices, good quality & wide assortment of things needed for a home.
This place is good to help you get housing or have your house built
Neat selection of furniture and love that the proceeds goes to a great charity
The staff are friendly and very awesome with helping with your purchase!!!
Great place to find refurbished
My mom and I just recently put my grandmother in hospice and had to clean out her apartment. We wanted to donate the majority of her belongings and needed to clean out of her apartment ASAP. I put in a request to Habitat for Humanity to pick up the items and the following day I received a call to schedule a pick up. They werent able to do it as soon as we needed. I explained why we were donating the items and that I understood they werent able to pick everything up since it was so last minute. Not even 5 minutes later I received a call saying they had a cancelation and could do it right then. When I got there, two guys were already waiting to be let in the apartment. These two men (forgive me, I was overwhelmed and forgot names) were super fast and efficient. I can not thank Habitat enough for making a difficult situation go so smoothly.
I LOVE HABITAT FOR HUMANITY, I PARTNERSHIP WITH THEM
Good for construction supplies, home furniture, ornaments and more (used)
I love this place!! Great deals if you are open to options!
I took my time taking out cabinets and tops so I could donate them. When I arrived at the store I was greeted by an older gentleman saying they had a hard time selling them and they would end up rhrowing them in the garbage. I felt like my donation was nothing more than an inconvenience. I gave them another chance and called to have them pick a furniture donation at my home. They said they couldnt come after five. I took off early, only to have them not show up for the appointment. When I calledo, there was no apology. They said they could reschedule for another day, but they would not be making any more pick ups that day. No apology for not calling to let me know they would not be there either. In the future I will donate to an organization that actually appreciates donations and doesnt see them as an inconvenience.
I called to talk with a customer service representative, and she hung up on me after 5 seconds. I asked if they had a certain type of thing in stock, she said “No.” And then hung up on me. Just like that, no more questions... What a horrible encounter.
Good shopping due to the random items sold.
Need more help on retail floor area
Good place to find bargains for home or business.
Used to be so much better before the renovation
My favorite spot.
Really Nice stuff for cheap
Just moving, renovating or building this place should be your go-to before you look anywhere else.
They need more donations and they pick up stop throwing it away give it to em.
I hate it when people make me act ugly. :(So, I need 2 cabinets. 2. My daughter & I went to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis ReStore on Saturday. I found a set that would work. Problem was? It was $356 and change for 13 pieces. I needed 2, and they wouldnt just sell me 2. Okay, well, the secondary price was $285.33. Okay, no big deal, but I wanted to take a few days to think about it. I called in today, hey is that set that was there on Saturday for $285.33 still there? I could have honestly NOT cared whether they said yes, but its $356, but thats not what they said. They said Yes, $285.33 for 13 pieces. Now, I dont know WHAT I was going to do with 11 more pieces, but I could have sold them, re-donated them, or whatever, but I did need the 2 cabinets, so ok - it was cheaper than retail, a match for what I had - Good Deal right?Take my lunch, drive ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the way to Winchester & Riverdale, and go in to buy the cabinets.... Id figure out how to get 13 pieces home later..... and Im then told that oh no no no, they arent $285.33 - I figure ok Im prepared to pay $356. Oh no, the 3 that BOTH My daughter & I saw on Saturday? Yeah, that has MIRACULOUSLY changed to an 8. They want me to pay $856 for some used cabinets that someone DONATED to them.Ummmmmm, no.Although Ive heard great things from friends in other cities about their Habitat Restores, Ill never head back to the Restore in Memphis. Every single time Ive tried to go in there to possibly buy something and help out Habitat, they have their prices marked at or above NEW retail. Ive even seen items that I HAVE that they are asking more than what I originally paid for them NEW years before. I understand helping out, I understand volunteering, I do. Im just NOT going to get ripped off in order to do it.After reading charles review below, now Im even more disgusted.
One of my favorite stores
I always find a bargain
This store doesnt have as much selection compared to other stores.
