We had to use a towing service to tow my Jeep yesterday and my insurance company told us to use Kendall Automotive which was closer to us!I tell you what Bob And Joey are absolutely amazing had a new battery installed in about thirty minutes and out the door!Dont hesitate to use this business so amazing!

My postal delivery vehicle had pooped out and I struggled to limp it over there at opening time, however a tow was needed and finally got it there at 10:00 am. I explained I needed it asap as the mail route is my livelihood. They got on it and quickly had an estimate for an alternator and a battery...I approved it and it was done by 3:00 pm. Big thanks to the crew there and they are my go to from now on.

Ok I went back to this place after they charged over $80 for a estimate to give them a chance to make things right.. sad to say they stood by their decision that I needed a $1600 plus a/c compressor, they stated it was leaking. Took car to a highly recommended ASC service center they tested and put dye in the system, did not detect any leaks. A week later air is still ice cold... I can NOT recommend this place. Sad because they have been in our community a long time. Again I CANNOT recommend this place.

I stumbled across this gem when I purchased my home in West Melbourne. I used to take my Volvo S80 to the dealership a few miles down US 192 for all services, but realized I was spending way too much one day after I pulled into Kendall with a slow leak in my tire. The friendly tech came out, checked it, plugged the tire, filled it, and checked/filled the other three. It blew my mind how inexpensive it was. All with a smile. I knew I’d found a new home for my cars, even the expensive ones.Last Christmas, I hit a curb on the side wall of my 2016 Genesis. Done. Not a chance for repair. I called Hyundai, and they quoted over $300 to replace it. I called my guys at Kendall, and I was out the door for $247.39. Same exact tire.My husband is a road warrior, traveling 125 miles round trip each day for work. Recently, his Cadillac SRX needed an oil change, wiper blades and a Freon charge. I brought it in around noon with the full understanding it would be there all afternoon. It was done within less than 2 1/2 hours. Bob initially joked that it seriously needed a wash, and it really did. When I picked it up, in addition to a very reasonable price for all the requested work AND a free tire rotation, we received a coupon for a free car wash. What a nice touch.This is the only place my husband and I will trust to take care of our cars, unless something is under warranty. The work is professionally done, reasonably priced, and we are truly treated like family. That’s a super nice bonus!What more can I say, other than that Kendall is locally owned and operated, and that means it’s our kind of place. Bob is grouchy only so often, but he makes up for it with his witty jokes and expressions.Bob, Jeff, Brian and the Kendall crew, we love you!

Had a bit of a ghost problem. Unfortunately the first repair did not fix the problem. Returned a few months later thinking they would not fix the problem but they did after fully explaining the situation and only charged for parts which to me was fair enough considering the issue was not obvious at first.

I broke down in Melbourne, on my way home to Orlando. Justin Kendall gave me an outrageous quote and proceeded to lie about how the job needed to be done. Had I broken down near home, I wouldve been able to purchase the part for less than $60 and easily do it myself. I just hope that he was trying to rip me off because I was from out of town and not because Im a woman.

Great full service auto mechanics. Competitive pricing and trustworthy. Have gotten diagnosis and estimates from other chain places, and then had Kendall verify and price. They found true problem and showed me. Id have spent money to fix the wrong thing at the chain store. They dont push for long list of everything you might need (sooner or later). They tell you what must be done, what can wait, etc. Appreciate knowing this business.

I’ve had mixed experiences of service, some good but the most recent not good. Made an appointment for a service, brought vehicle in and took day off work to do so, called in the late afternoon to see when I could pick it up and they hadn’t even started on it. I am now out of a day’s pay and still have to get the work done now with another shop. I don’t appreciate being told when I made the appointment to bring it in and that it would be taken care of no problem just to find out that it wasn’t and wasted my entire day.

I stopped in after work because one of my front shocks stripped out the threads on the bottom control arm that bolts them on, leaving it dangling by the the top bolt and making for a very bouncy ride. The tech explained to me that the proper way to fix this was to replace the lower control arms but recommended i dont because that would cost more than my car was worth. I was impressed that the big repair bill wasnt shoved down my throat but instead being given two alternate routes to achieve a safe repair for $125. I came in w/out an appointment and i was out of there in less than an hour. That kind of honesty is few and far between in the auto repair industry and i would definitely think of Kendalls first next time i need a repair.

This is a family run auto repair shop. They will not cheat you, they will tell you exactly what is wrong with your vehicle and repair what is Needed. Nothing more and nothing less. They have been in business for too long to ruin their reputation by overcharging someone. If you want someone to keep your vehicle running in tip top shape, go in and ask to speak to Jeff or any other staff member and they will treat you in a courteous, polite, manner! Plus even give you a donut!

I liked working with Brian to inspect the car I ended up purchasing. He was thorough during the inspection. I liked his flexibility, allowing me to bring in the car at my convenience. I was on a trip to the keys and I had a trailer bearing and hub fail. Started off my Monday with a low tire pressure indicator, and was concerned about driving my car. I only had an hour of lunch and decided to give this place a try since its located close to my work and the reviews were good. Long time satisfied customer, friendly family staff but there is one guy there at the front desk that should be sent to the back room somewhere to measure tire treads, he is usually behind the middle terminal. Does not seem that he likes his job, very little customer engagement, otherwise this would be a more inviting shop. They are in the high end of pricing but have earned my trust.

They were so kind and courteous....said the flat battery was on warranty and so that didn’t cost a dime. The tyres I got a fabulous price that couldn’t have been beaten even by Discount Tyres. These guys are absolutely great. I was referred to them by a coworker and have never been let down. They let you know what is going on, how much it will cost, which are always reasonable prices in my opinion, and they explain how it will affect your vehicle if you dont make the repair at that time. They are honest mechanics with a vast knowledge and amazing customer service. I have gone to them for my oil changes and had transmission work, alternator, battery, etc. and I trust their workmanship. I have never felt taken advantage of by them from being a woman or at all for being a person for that matter. It can be difficult to find a reliable automobile repair business, but I am glad to say Kendall Automotive hit it out of the park! A fair and honest shop, they identified areas of concern with my Honda FIT and made the necessary repairs. Kudos to Brian and the team of this outstanding business!

Was highly recommended this place and so far have been very disappointed in the service! Was told my repair would be completed between 4-6pm today. Didnt receive a phone call or any update for awhile so I went to check on the repair before the shop closed at 5:30. Arrived at the shop around 5:20pm, to find the mechanic that helped me earlier locking the doors early and getting into a truck with another guy. As i and my mother in law tried to wave and get their attention, they made eye contact and nodded in our direction as they drove away. I have now called 3 times trying to figure out whats happening with my car and have been told that the mechanic has received the notification and all i can do is await his callback. We have been stranded without a car now with no contact from the shop. Im not happy at all with the way this shop handles its business. So far very horrible customer service.Do not recommend dealing with this place!EDIT: Had to wait until the morning to hear from anyone. Was told Id be called when they opened, after awhile I had to call myself after they had been open for over 40 mins. The main manager Bob was completely disrespectful to me on the phone. Completely spoke over me as I tried to explain my grievances and the horrible service Id received thus far. He was very aggressive and non responsive to me. He basically said itll be done when its done and wouldnt give me more than that. Tried talking to his manager, and he expressed that he is the highest manager there which is rather unfortunate for them since Bob has no customer service skills. Still have zero idea when my car will be done. This is the absolute worse experience I have ever had with a mechanic and will be making sure that no one I know ever uses this company again.

After taking my car to the Dodge dealership in Naples and receiving horrible service and they didnt even repair my car, it broke down while in Melbourne and I made it to Kendall. They were closing but knew I needed to get back to Naples so they all stayed late to repair my car on a Saturday, even going to 2 different stores to get parts. They went way above and beyond and were the nicest guys. I wish every repair center was as great as Kendall. The best auto repair service I have ever had. I have been a customer with Kendall for 15 years and wish they would have taken a different position on my recent repair. They replaced a seal on a part that was the wrong part to begin with. Their tech did not detect that the aisle on my vehicle was the wrong aisle. I was charged the repair and it continued to leak excessively (the bushing was bad and there was damage as they informed me). I took it to another shop down the road and it took the tech one glance to realize the seal/repair from Kendall was ineffective due to the aisle being a 4X4 aisle and not the 2x4 aisle my car calls for. Regardless if there was bushing damage, I would have preferred to get referred to someone that would stop the leak, and not be charged for parts and labor with no results. I was shown the old bushing from the repair shop that found the issue, and there is no seal that would have stopped the leak with the bushing play. I asked Kendall to do something for the seal repair, and they have told me to credit or refund. Their repair never would have stopped the leak, its hard to pay for a repair twice.

I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee there for the standard oil change. They found the water pump was making noise and had a lot of play in the pulley. They didnt have to say anything to me and just did the oil change and rotate the tires. I am glad they did as I make weekly drives to Miami. I would have hated to have it fail on one of those trips! Great people and excellent service as always!

Had an absolutely horrible experience here. Had AAA tow my truck in because of engine problems, and this was their recommended shop in my area. They never checked the engine, and instead wanted to charge me 1800$ for a completely nonexistent radiator leak, and to replace practically the entire front end of my vehicle. I took it to another place nearby called Economy Muffler, who found that the issue was simply a loose vacuum hose that cost me 75$ to replace. Now my truck runs perfectly fine no thanks to these people.

I went in to do an inspection for a car I wanted to purchase. While on their waiting list I decided to skip it because it looked great and I had developed a high degree of trust in the seller. The Kendall Automotive staff saved me from my foolish decision. They insisted on taking a quick look in the parking lot before I left and discovered a major brake fluid leak. It took 5 minutes but saved me a major headache, and maybe even my life. They wouldnt take my money. They did that out of kindness. Amazing people

My normal shop had a 2 1/2hour wait, the other local shops wanted to schedule an appointment not to mention price gauge me (since it was a huge travel day).Not Kendall Automotive! Soon after putting on my full sized spare the brake squeaked so I brought it to Kendalls to check it out.I drove extra miles to receive their expert, honest, and friendly service. There was a wait, as they were busy, so they provided a ride to my chosen destination. They are wonderful to drop you off at work or home so you can go about doing other things.When I arrived Brian adeptly entered my info into the computer in just a few minutes. Bob the Manager was at the next work station and immediately offered to have me driven to where I needed to go. I think part of this is he minimizes occupants in the lobby due to social distancing concerns. In any case, I was out of there and on my way home in just minutes. Plus they installed plexiglass partitions in their lobby which displays their consideration to safety.I was fortunate to have Sandy drive me as she is very pleasant, plays enjoyable music and is very honest. She spotted a wallet in the back seat left there by the last person driven home and she immediately called it in to the office. She expressed her concern about how that person must be looking for it. I am positive that she handled that with the up-most integrity and was very impressed by her honesty. Plus she stopped her normal bookkeeping tasks to drive me home, was extremely nice about it and I appreciate that very much.Sandy stopped her bookkeeping work again and picked me up hours later. She was still very pleasant and professional considering I interrupted her work again.Brian gave me the news about my brakes. They had two experts drive my car and looked at my brakes and did not find anything wrong except for maybe some dirt. Plus they inflated my tires to the appropriate pressure. My bill was $0 because they did not find anything wrong. Even though Bob the Manager was quiet while I was given my $0 balance bill, I know he was the one who approved it. He is so honest and kind to approve the report that nothing was wrong with my brakes.I did not see the owner this time, but he is usually around there somewhere, ready to help and is super nice and honest too.Thank you Sandy, Brian and Bob for the fantastic service. My brakes no longer squeak, so maybe they got the dirt out of the spare that I put on. I drive with confidence again and am absolutely positive that my brakes are good. We brought our car in, and they listened to the symptoms I told them of that I had experienced with it. When they diagnosed it they called us first to let us know what they needed to do, gave us the estimate, and did not proceed until they got our approval. They fixed it within the same afternoon.They were friendly on the phone and also in person. We were greeted with smiles and treated professionally. This is the 4th time we have used Kendall in the past 2 years and it has always been a great experience.

We drove here from sarasota and our car started shaking. We decided to stop and have it looked at. They got us in right away and advised us the tire was falling apart from a pot hole we hit. They got us in right away and replaced our tire in no time at all. Less than 30 minutes later we were paid and leaving. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I wish they were in sarasota. If youre a woman dont take your car here. They couldnt figure out exactly what was wrong with my engine. They only told me that I needed a new engine and that Id have to pay $2,000.00 to get it fixed. When they told me this I told them that before I had it towed to them I noticed a bad amount of leakage coming from the engine, the person over the phone immediately got defensive and told me that it didnt matter if it had a leak, I either needed to buy the new engine or they will scrap it if I dont take it away.I went to pick it up and they charged me $48.97 just to LOOK AT IT.And on top of that when I finally brought my car home and opened up my hood, they left a HUGE piece that is supposed to be attached to the bottom of the engine on top of the engine. They did not put it back like they should have (especially if I had to pay $48.97 for services)Take your car to a trusted auto mechanic.

I came here by chance. My car broke down on the intersection of 192 and Wickham. Fortunately, I was able to turn my car off and turn it back on for long enough to drive into Kendall Automotive, as it happened to be right there. I was very nervous, seeing as Id never heard of this place and didnt know what to expect. The people there were very friendly and assured me that my car was in good hands. They explained to me in full detail what the problem was and my options. I was able to pick up my car the next day and havent experienced a problem since (its been at least 5 or so months).
