Completely hassle free quality service! These guys did a great job. Scott was able to get me new tires right away at a great price. They also did some unexpected front end repairs..they greased all my suspension and steering parts, inspected everything, and informed me on how everything was. My truck is driving better than when i bought it. I have 2 other friends that will tell you the same about their shop and mechanics… great people

They got me in quickly and made all repairs on the same day. Communication was very strong throughout the experience and everyone was friendly - when I walked past the garage, the mechanics all said hello despite being busy at work. They get the little details right and those matter just as much as the big ones. They even checked in with me after I had my car back to make sure I was happy with my service. My car drives more smoothly now than when I first bought it. I cannot recommend them enough!

I used to own a repair shop in my hometown in Missouri. Just moved here and had a tire leak at the tpms sensor. I no longer have a tire machine so I needed to find a place to get me fixed. Saw the good reviews and called to ask if I could drop the wheel and tire off and they could get it in. They were busy, but they actually got me right in and fixed at a fair price. The service manager was being pulled in different directions but I asked if he could get me a tire quote for my other vehicle. He gave me a great quote that is more than competitive and described everything well. Seems like a legit shop, I will be back again.

After shopping around I decided to have Herrold’s Auto Repair replace my rear brakes, rotors and pads. Drop off was quick and easy, Scott was very pleasant and professional to deal with and the quote was accurate. I will definitely return for additional service in the future!

A friend of mine noticed that my rotors had grooves in them and told me I needed to go get that looked at ASAP. After searching through Google I found this company and saw that that had great reviews so I called. They were very nice on the phone and made me an appointment for the next day. The shop was clean and professional and I was thankful to the man at the desk for wearing his mask in these times. Within a few minutes they let me know the results of what I needed and how long it would take and an hour later I had new brakes and I was on my way. I was thankful that they could get me in so quickly my brakes are working great and I feel safe. I would definitely use this company again in the future and pass along to my family and friends who need services of this kind.

My son told me his oil light had been on for awhile, the shop was able to squeeze me in for an oil change and free tire rotation. My truck needed tires and I’ve been looking for a new shop to try out. Herald’s gave me an out the door price over the phone and had me taken care of the next week. I needed a few extra things done and they had them notated so when I dropped off the truck I didn’t even have to remind them. I will be returning to them in the future. No regrets whatsoever.

I would highly recommend this very clean Parma establishment after purchasing tires...at cost! Their highly trained and kind professionals were able to quickly notice that my vehicle was never aligned and had a defective part installed by a very popular local chain business that didn’t want to correct their own mistakes and accused me of hitting a big pothole or getting into an accident! The Herold Family Team gave me a copy of the alignment results, which were drastically out of specifications and with their knowledge and experience advised me of who to contact and then that popular business apologized and resolved all issues. My only regret is not finding Herold Family Auto and Tire sooner and needless to say but I will be a repeat customer for life!

Ive gone to this repair facility on 2 recent occasions,  one for an oil change and the second a rear brake job. On both occasions the customer service was first rate. Additionally  I found their prices very competitive if not better than the local competition. Lastly, the quality of the work was really good. They even provided me with a loaner vehicle to use while they repaired my brakes due to them having to wait for the parts to arrive. Great job guys youve earned my business.Eric C.

What an amazing and positive experience received for 2 of my vehicles repaired that day.Having Certified Master Technicians that have been in the business for many years working on your vehicle instills a great deal of confidence knowing your vehicle will get repaired correctly the first time.The vehicle bays and waiting room areas were spotless. Flyer for oil change. Best price in area for full synthetic. We have original dealer in CT free lifetime oil changes, but due to Covid-19, not able to so at this change. Great prices and service. If you have not checked this place out it is a must. I got tires from them and let me tell you they are way better than the big box tire stores. Conrads quoted me almost 1100 granted for different tires harolds was around 600. Check these guys out worth your time.

Took my truck in for a bad oil leak. They had to order parts, I had my truck back the next day. No more leaks, fixed right the first time. The GMC dealership told me it would be two weeks before I could get an appointment. I will start using Herolds for oil changes and repairs, moving foward.

Always very kind and accommodating, they will even give you a ride somewhere close by while they work on your car. All the employees feel like family so I feel comfortable taking my car here that they are not adding unnecessary work or charges. Great experiences here!

Had a great experience at Herold Family Auto. Originally had an appt for oil change, tire rotation. While there spoke to the owner about what I was feeling when breaking. He took it for a quick drive. Explained my rotors needed replaced. I decided while my tires were off to just have them do the front brakes and he also serviced my rear calipers. I had some questions about the service. Being a female Ive been screwed over in the past from dishonest mechanics. Steve showed me exactly what he was going to do. Showed me all the parts of my brakes and my rear calipers. Explained in great detail the entire job. I felt at ease. Also price was right and they guarantee brake jobs for 3 years. Also was given a loner car to take home since job took about 3 hrs. Brakes feel great and Im very pleased. Were very honest and knowledgeable. Will definitely be back for future service. Price for full synthetic oil change with tire rotation is cheapest in town.

I stumbled on to Herolds this year when I needed an alignment done on my 65 Mustang. Obviously this isnt a car you want to take to just any shop IMO. You need a place you can trust to do things right.Herolds did a fantastic job on my classic, and is the only place in Medina I use for service on my vehicles. Highly recommend.Its a family shop and you can tell they take having their name on the sign seriously.

Ive gone to Steve to get my car fixed since I got my license and was riding around in my rust bucket. Hes always done great work and kept my cars running for much longer than I could have imagined. Ive been a customer of Herold Family Auto for many years. My vehicle is 12 years old and just turned 202,000 miles. When my vehicle needs maintenance, repair, or tires I take it to Herolds. No need to shop around. Their knowledge and experience is worth every penny to me and I know their pricing is always fair. They diagnose the problem and fix it right the first time. They own the business and they have their hands on the repair. I will continue to rely on Herold Family Auto for all of the maintenance, repair and tires on my vehicle.

I was in Ohio for the holidays from Maryland when my check engine light and transmission indicator came on. I called Steve the day after Christmas and they were able to get me in the next morning. Steve was very kind and understanding of the time schedule given that we would be driving back to Maryland in a few days. They were able to have my car done the next day before noon, and it was the next day only because they were waiting for a part. Throughout the diagnosis process Steve called to update me and ensure that each identified issue was ok to order the part and/or fix. He let me know when the car was done and the total due prior to pick up. When arriving to pick up the car up Steve explained the repairs and informed me that a recent transmission fluid change from a drive through oil change place was not satisfactory as the fluid was brown and not pink. Before leaving with the car he helped me to find a Napa Care Center local to me in Maryland.There was even a little treat bag with candy in it waiting for me in the car at pick up!They are truly one of a kind!!!

I’m writing this review to praise Herold Family Automotive and Tire for what they DIDN’T do.I live in Columbus, and I recently had my car, a 2004 Mazda 6, die near Medina. While driving on I71 towards Cleveland, the water pump quit on me, and by the time I realized something was wrong and was able to get off the road, the engine was pretty much cooked. Because the car was so far from home, my mechanic in Columbus* recommended I contact Herold Family Automotive to find out if it was worth saving. I spoke with Scott Rohde, the service manager there, and he asked me to recount, step by step, what happened. He told me that I likely had a blown head gasket and possibly a busted cylinder head. He then told me, step by step, what he could do for the car and what each step would likely cost. He made it clear that the cost of getting it back on the road would far exceed the value of the car, and that I would be better off using that money toward some new wheels. The conversation took a good while, and Mr. Rohde was more than patient with me, and he convinced me, a total stranger, to not throw him work that could have made him some serious money.I know this review is a little longwinded, but I feel this kind of honesty, and this kind of consideration for a stranger, should be acknowledged.* Kevin Thomas at Tom and Jerry’s Auto Service, who I’m going to plug here, too – if you live in the Grandview Heights area, you should check these guys out, because they might care more about your car than you do.
