What a wonderful experience! Its always hard to know when you can trust a new car repair place and Jimmy was so transparent and helpful I would recommend him to anyone. I showed up in quite a bind and he was quick, consultative, honest, fair and had me on my way quickly. If you dont know whats wrong but are scared to get taken advantage of, have no fear. This is easily one of the best garage Ive ever been to. They were completely honest with me, even though it meant not getting the brake job I thought I needed! (Needless to say, Ill be going back to get it done later.) The pricing was more than fair, and they were willing to do all they could to fit me in even though I didnt have an appointment! They were great people, very nice. The service was top of the line, and they really know what theyre doing! If anyone needs a garage, look no further!Edit: A few weeks later, I went back. Apparently, my front stabilizers had gone. I got a great price on the repair, an oil change, and they even patched and rotated my tires for free! I dont have enough good things to say!

If youre looking for somewhere to take your car if its making weird noises, an oil change, light replacement, brake pads, or simply an honest opinion, I advise you look no further (and ask for Jimmy!)I moved to Massachusetts from out of state, and my luck and experience with many other repair shops in the area have taken that to their advantage, nickel and diming me for whatever I brought my car in for. This was never the case here.I got in a minor parking lot accident, and took my car in where I met with Jimmy who has been the example of providing an excellent customer experience from the start. Now I go here for ANYTHING, from calling them up with questions, general upkeep, and oil changes, and I know Ill get an honest price and answer. My car has gone through a LOT this year from 2 minor accidents, AWD tire replacements, rear and front brake pad and rotor replacements, the works. Jimmy is great. My tire shipment arrived late due to weather. He kept me updated and worked around my schedule.He did a great job and also let me know my brakes were bad. (This was not an upsell, I’d been told to replace my brakes and rotors by 2 other shops, but I forgot to do it). He told me to call my local shop to get them fixed. I instead asked if he could replace them right then. He managed to get the brakes and rotors replaced and the tires replaced all within a couple of hours.Great customer service. I will be coming back here.

I just want to say if you need any service on your car or need to change your tire come to Monro auto service and tire service center in Medford, because My moms car broke down on the side of the road and some awesome people helped get to the Auto Service center in Medford and the manager Vincenzo “Jimmy” Acierno jump started our car and looked at the car and saw the problem was the alternator and helped us get a tow truck to pick up the car from their garage to our house. I just want to say thank you to Monro auto service and tire center in Medford and and huge thank you to Vincenzo “Jimmy” Acierno.

Every time I come here, it’s awesome service and work. Jimmy always makes time for you and makes sure to complete the job as needed. My rotors were basically shot and I needed immediate brake pads change and he made time for me in less than a days notice. And he gave me a great deal on the price, considering time, work, and short notice. I’ll keep coming back every time.

I’ve been going to Monro in Medford for almost 2 years and in the entire 2 years I’ve been coming here, they’ve been so good to me and my Honda Accord. Being a young woman and taking care of the maintenance of my car on my own, it’s very hard to find mechanics that won’t take advantage of you simply because you lack car knowledge. But Jim has made it very easy for me to trust him & his mechanics. He’s always honest with me and what my car needs and never pressures me into getting something else done that I don’t need. He’s made maintaining my car very easy for me since I don’t know much about cars. Every time I pick Up my car, he always educates me further on what the mechanic did and what service may need to be done in the future. As long as Jim is the manager of that location, I will Continue to bring my car there for any service. Thanks to Jim, Monro of Medford gained a customer for life :)

This place is great. We bought a used car through Carvana and brought it here because it needed some work (new rotors and brake pads, filters, and a transmission flush). Jimmy was very knowledgeable and was happy to answer all of my questions and teach me what I needed to know to understand the work that the car needed. He was also patient enough to go back and forth with Carvanas partner warranty company so that we didnt have to pay for the repairs! He was easy to reach and quick to reply to my messages, and was genuinely invested in doing high quality work. Its a relief to have an auto mechanic we know we can trust.

I recently visited Monro on 04/20/2019 for an oil change and mounting new tires. I was able to make an appointment on the phone the Wednesday prior, however, Saturdays can be very busy so I planned on dropping my car off. The appointment was for 7:30am, and I was called around 9am to pick up my car! Jimmy was fantastic and very efficient. He neatly put my snow tires back in the bags and double bagged them before putting them in my back seat. I also appreciate that he did not try to sell my oil my car did not need. Overall, my experience with Jimmy was efficient and reasonably priced. I plan on returning for future services.

I really appreciated his honesty and his patience with my inexperience in dealing with car issues. He was fair and honest, and was the reason for my return trip to Monroe for an oil change. Rafael did the oil change and the courtesy inspection, however during this visit I did get to meet Jimmy for the first time and he was fantastic!! Super knowledge and just a pleasure working with. The price was so reasonable, I finally felt that I was getting fair service. In the future I will bring my car to Monroe!

Jimmy will treat you right. I went in with a new (used) car that failed inspection. Seized caliper. The warranty company lowballed the estimate, and basically tried to get out of covering the problem. The details are so banal theyd make your head spin. Long story short, Jimmy was exceedingly patient and went back and forth with them across many phone calls. Finally got it approved, and he did great work, even came in early to do it. Car is perfect now, no more lurching stops. I really have to thank and commend Jimmy for helping me through this. Top-notch professional. Hes earned my business in the future, and I dont think theres any higher praise for a mechanic.

Purchased tires with road hazard insurance for my daughter. Tires had 2700 miles on them. She hit something and blew out the tire. Replaced and only paid for new hazard/balancing. Stephen Iantosca, store manager is a nice honest person. I have purchased tires in the past, but I think I will bring car for all service now.

Really really nice owner! I had a flat tire and try to look around for new tire replacement in an urgent. The owner check at it and fill it with some air, this fix my car temporarily and free me from sticking at home on New Year’s Eve. He told me “ I’m going to be honest with you, your tire size sold expensive at our store. Go order them online and I would install it cheaply for you.” This doesn’t usually happens in an auto store. I would definitely recommend it to others.

I booked an appointment for new tires online Sunday evening (for a Monday morning availability, surprisingly), selecting a specific set of tires. However, the next morning, Id received an email indicating that my appointment had to be changed to Thursday, which was not great because I had a serious tire issue and didnt want to drive on them too much. A short time later, I received a call from Jimmy letting me know that those specific tires werent available, and that it might be a few days before he could get them, but that he could hook me up with similar tires, in terms of price and performance. ...AND, I was able to keep my Monday morning appointment. I brought the car in and a few hours later I was all set! I really appreciated the extra care and attention Jimmy provided. It was my first time at the Munroe service center in Medford, but it will definitely not be my last. Thank you, Jimmy!

I recently was in a bind with my vehicle. I went to a dealership, they kept my car for 3 days with no updates, had some money stolen from my car, and while in their care the battery was killed and now needed to be replaced. I was about to drive halfway across the country, NEEDED to get this work done, and had no faith or trust in the dealership to continue to service my vehicle. I did not know what to do.About 5 years prior I had lived in the area and regularly visited Monro in Medford MA as the service from Jimmy at that location was impeccable. In a difficult position, I took a chance that Jimmy might still be working at the location. As luck would have it, Jimmy was there. He squeezed me in, showed sympathy and support for my situation, AND was able to turn around my vehicle in less than a day. When I returned to get my vehicle, Jimmy was again very helpful and commented that he remembered I used to work up the road...which was 5 years ago.The support I received went above and beyond, the service was top notch, and the speed and quality was commendable. Jimmy, and of course the staff on site July 25, 2019, really helped me out when I was in a very precarious situation. This is the kind of service that makes individuals a life long customer. Even though I no longer live in the area, I will be sure to do all my services going forward through Jimmy and the staff at Monro in Medford MA.

Transparent and effective. Jimmy, the manager, was friendly and very helpful in getting the work done promptly. I got a free estimate, was shown the problem and offered three options (not dangerous so do nothing, short-term repair, replacement). I chose the replacement option with no pressure, the price was right, and the part was ordered immediately. It arrived 90 minutes later and the mechanics could install it on the spot. Within a few hours of stopping by for an estimate I picked up my repaired car. I think the speed was exceptional due to timing and future jobs might be less fast. I would bring them my business again.
