Probably the best dealership experience I’ve ever had in terms of the service department. Got their on time for a Saturday appointment, the service area is enclosed with garage doors and kept air conditioned. Service was done quickly and complimentary inspection pointed out some proactive maintenance needed. Checkout was a breeze and they auto applied a discount coupon which I didn’t know about. Definitely totally recommend for service!

I take my car here to get serviced for my state inspections and oil changes. The vibe is what you’d expect from a car shop. I usually drive in with an appointment and am ignored for a couple minutes by all of the employees until someone reluctantly asks me what I’m there for. The waiting area is nice though, I usually wait a little under an hour for my state inspection and oil change. I wouldn’t go here for anything else because they charge ridiculous amounts for simple, quick, and cheap fixes. I just take their recommendations and go to another shop to get them done or do them myself.

Cant say enough good things about Mechanicsville Honda. If I could give them six stars I would. We had the best experience buying our new car. I would highly recommend Doug Talley. I have enjoyed my Honda Pilot two years now! Absolutely the best vehicle I have ever owned! I stopped at Pearson first. The salesman was great during the test drive. When we talked about my trade, (2016 Pilot I had recently purchased from Car Max but decided to take advantage of Hondas .09% rates) things went south. The used car manager was a jerk, so I left Pearson (closest to me) and drove across town to Mechanicsville Honda. Everyone was wonderful! They wanted my business! They found me the exact Pilot I wanted and gave me a reasonable price on my 2016. I am very pleased with the treatment I received, not only on the sales end but the few times I have been to the service department. This is my first time here. I came in for car service based on the reviews. The staff did their job as expected but no one smiled. Outside of the service area, people were anxious to help and readily speaking with their commission breath. I want to say that I was approached by five different sales people. The estimated wait time they gave me over the phone and in person were spot on. The part had to be ordered which means that I have to come back the next day. The downside is that they dont offer loaner cars when your car is being serviced. I removed one star for that and probably should have removed two stars. Based on the fact when youre in for in warranty service and theres no loaner car program, I wouldnt purchase a vehicle here or recommend buying here unless you have another vehicle sitting at home or want to spend money renting a vehicle here for $35/day.

I’ve had a terrible experience with the West Broad Honda and decided to try the one in Mechanicsville and it is by far the best. I traded in my 2018 Honda Civic Sport for a 2020 Honda CR-V and Palmer DID THAT. He was willing to listen to what I wanted and he understood my needs. Palmer, Shawn, and Carla are seriously the dream team. It was the quickest I have ever been in and out of a dealership before. Lauren did an outstanding job of matching my husband and me with our 2011 Honda SUV which we purchased in 2012 and still thoroughly enjoy, and now (October 2020) she has matched us with our 2018 Honda SUV which we really like! Very displeased with this dealership. Don’t get me wrong, I purchased my car through them, the sales department as well as the financing department were very good people and were very helpful. However the service department will never see my car again. I took my car in for a diagnostic for a water leak that let water fill up all over inside my car. Everything was wet. I told them what I thought the problem was, they said it was not the case but fixed two other things that were not seeming to be the problem. They gave me my car back and told me that it was leak free and good to go. All of the water and moisture still needed to be removed fully, they told me to use odor absorber for “the mold smell”, as if preventing the mold all together wasn’t needed. I tested the leak myself, and it turned out to be the weatherstripping for the trunk as suspected. They didn’t see that leak somehow, and the next day it filled my trunk up with water again when it rained. I had to do all of the work myself, after already paying for them to fix it. Horrible service, horrible advice given, and dishonest business execution. I will never cometo this dealership again, if I can’t trust a tech to find a weatherstrip leak, I definitely can’t trust them with something more intricate.

Today I Had a wonderful experience with Mechanicsville Honda! Everyone was just amazing, FeFe & Brian made my experience worth wild. FeFe made sure she kept in contact and gave me the latest updates on the car I wanted and both FeFe & Brian made sure I got the car I wanted. I couldn’t be anymore happier with there willingness to assist and made everything so smooth. ❤️ You guys! I will definitely be sending folks to FeFe & Brian. My Honda Civic Ex is amazing 🤩

Palmer Hassell was my salesman and he did a great job. He was friendly and courteous and new the product in and out. He responded to my e-mail request for pricing and information and setup a test drive. The test drive went well and was very careful because of the current COVID issues. I wanted a color other than was in stock at Mechanicsville Honda and he found it quickly and made a deal, great service.
