This guys are awesome! Did diagnostic, found the root of the problem and fixed it in most timely and accurate manner.Gary is very knowledgeable and whole team is skilled and friendly.Also I came with Hybrid battery related problem, and unlike most of other places they took on the task.

Greg and his team are awesome. I never had a second thought visiting to his shop for any car repairs. I always got some extra credits by taking my car for a repair. He always got something I missed which could payoff later.I got the PCV valve and gasket replaced.

Absolutely wonderful service. Gary helped me fix up my civic and found a buyer for it! Hes the only one I trusted to help us fix it up. He was very up front about costs, options and everything that was needed for the sale (he even knew a notary right down the road). Stopped for an oil change and to have my brakes looked at, the service was great, efficient and thorough!! They could have swapped my brakes out then and charged me but the technician let me know I still had some life left on them. I’ve scheduled my brake repair for next month. The technician was very polite and the owner Gary is super credible. I will definitely be back! 5/22/19

The other week my car got stuck in the mud when I was on my way to a nearby destination. Luckily, Matthews Imports was close by and when they heard my story, the owner and another guy quickly came to my aid. They also ensured my wheels were washed afterward and didnt charge me for any of it!

I actually work for Gary, so I can tell you he is a great guy who knows what hes talking about and has the integrity to fix things the right way, even if it means more work for him. Ive learned a lot from him.

Gary knows his business. Weve been taking cars in for repairs as needed for about 10 years now and hes always been fair and goes the extra mile to figure out problems and come up with the least expensive solution. The prices here are reasonable, and the shop always stands behind their work, far better than any other car repair place. Even when they dont have to.I normally dont write reviews but see where others complain about things such as brake pads and tire wear, so I figured this would help balance things out. Brake pads are not made by the mechanic and how long they wear depends on the pad itself and drivers habits, not the installer. And some cars dont hold alignment very well while others can be thrown off in a second by hitting a pothole. I just had to have a Bosch battery replaced that was less than a year old, bought from another store. However, this was a problem with the battery, not the guy that put it in. People need to be realistic about their expectations and dont blame the labor guy when its a problem with the product or a wear and tear issue.Give Matthews Imports a try and I think youll agree that its just nice to have a mechanic that doesnt report to corporate, where you can talk to the guy that does the work, and where they really consider your pocketbook.************************************Update: Its been a couple of years now since my last comments on this company. We still take our cars here and did so last week as a matter of fact. My wife had been in a rear end collision and the insurance company totalled the car. Nevertheless, we decided to keep it and repair it because she likes it and the damage was more about percent value of the car rather than serious damage. Gary worked with us and repaired it rather than just replacing all the parts, and did so for a LOT less than the insurance company estimate was. Except for a little chipped paint on the bumper that I didnt want to bother with, the car actually looks better than it did before the accident and everything works just as well. Anyone can replace part for part. But its nice to know people who can fix it, not just bolt on new pieces.

Great mechanic who looks out for his customers

SCAM!!! SCAM!!! Do not go to this place.I will never come back to this people, they charged to $61 for Oil change.. Regular oil. Ridiculous service, when I asked why r you charging this amount, ohh this is our rate for regular oil change on Toyota RAV4.After I get in to my car, they did not reset the Maintanance sign and and put the new sticker for odometer,When I asked why this is not reset and new sticker,,,he replied you want this to be reset and change...what a d*** question.

Zero stars really but that is not an option. After several failed attempts at other dealers i decided to give this place a try to fix some front end noise and shaking on my toyota avalon. First time and 600 dollars later i got new brakes and rotors. Left with car and still had noise and shaking. Called back and Gary the owner told me to return next day. Then it was the drive train and bearings so 2 days and another 1100 dollars later i pick up my car. Low and behold still shaking and return yet again for a 3 rd time and its another thing. Now im 1700 in and almost 3 weeks dealing with this and car still not fixed. So for the 4 th time i called and at this point i just wanted some of my money back. I did not feel it was working out nor should i have to keep returning for the fourth time with the same initial problem. As i tried to explain this is when Gary the owner became hostile and not responsive to my request. I dont at all see how 2 weeks 3 return trips and 1700 bucks later and you have an attitude with Me? I dont recommend yes they seem nice until you have a problem BEWARE DONT FALL FOR IT
