Called Tom on a Friday, he got me in on Monday at noon. He found the rear wheel had loose lug nuts. He took care of it and only charged me 5 dollars. If you have a a vehicle problem go see Tom he will do you right.

Great experience. Was experiencing what i thought was an alternator issue. They tested my battery and told me it was the issue. Halfway through replacing it they tested it again and it worked fine. They could have charged me for a new battery and i would have been none the wiser. The whole process took only an hour. Very pleased.

Asked around bout front end specialist. Everyone recommend them. Very knowledgeable and took care of three problems by replacing lower ball joint and a front end alignment. Would recommend them to anyone and I live in DesMoines, Iowa.

My starter gave out. I contacted two local mechanics. One only gave me prices, Wilmes Tire and Service personally came to my house to make sure it was the starter before paying money to tow it to their shop. After figuring out it was for sure the starter, they immediately called to inform the tow truck to come. By 12 the next day my car was fixed and ready to pick up. Everyone I interacted with were super friendly.

Great, fast, inexpensive service. Fixed a myriad of issues with my Honda prelude. Able to source obscure parts and perform manner of repairs. Staff is courteous and friendly as well. Inspected a friends car in 10 minutes.

His mechanics broke several things including the plastic part on the throttle body where the cruise control cable attached, then tried to glue it back together. When the removed the door panel they broke the pieces that the window attatches to so the window didnt go up or down without falling. And, they lost a clip for the switches so didnt sit correctly and glued it to the door panel with what looks like silicone. This used to be a good place, not sure what happened but wont be going back.

To Toms one 3/5 rater. Hes a veteran and a mechanic. What kind of attitude were you expecting?Guys a great mechanic, and an honest guy.

Wilmes Tire looked it over and told her to take it for a drive, the new battery just needs a good charge. That is what she did; thank you for taking the time to help a young girl and not spend her money on parts she didnt need.
