I have a +20 year old car that occasionally needs repairs. My experience with Massey is that they are straight shooters when discussing possible repairs and alternatives. My last repair involved engine issues but Massey even fixed a license plate lighting issue that I didnt even mention (nor did they charge for it). No one likes having to get their car fixed but it helps to deal with an honest repair shop. I appreciate the work that Massey does to keep my car running.

Thanks to the team at Massey Automotive for the quick repairs to my 2012 Toyota Camry. Out of the blue my power steering system failed. I was heading out of town the next day and needed to get it fixed while I was away. The team diagnosed the problem and were able to fix within one day. Turns out it was the alternator had gone bad. An easier problem to fix than replacing the Electronic Power Steering system in the Camry.

Ive taken my two cars there for over ten years. Their mechanics are smart, reliable, and trustworthy. Pricing is OK. Their diagnoses are spot on and they ALWAYS do a great job.

Balanced my wife’s car to PERFECTION. Mazda of Roswell tried twice and couldn’t get it right so I took it to Massey. They were very quick and were reasonably priced. Tested out the newly balanced tires (in a closed environment) and the tires/ride were still smooth all the way to 110Have used Massey in the past and will only use them from now on. Thanks!

I have used Massey Automotive for a number of years. Beyond all else they are an exceptionally honest business. If no repair is required they will tell you and give you the reason. For repairs that are needed they are up front with you and explain everything that is needed and why. Their costs are not exorbitant and the work they do is flawless and work is completed on time. I have recommended them to friends and family and they all come back to me and express how pleased they are with Massey. If you need any kind of car repair Massey is the place to go.

Something weird happened to my cars brakes. Called, talked to Rob and explained (the very little) that I knew was wrong before having it towed there. Rob called me back later that afternoon and explained what was needed to return my brakes to working order. It was simple enough to understand and loved how straightforward everything was. Also the dog bios on their staff page and fun names on their lockbox boxes show their sense of humor/lightness thats mixed with their passion/knowledge. Will definitely return.

Massey is an excellent service organization. I’ve been taking my 2010 F 150 Raptor to Massey’s for regular maintenance and repairs for the past year. Most recently, they reprogrammed my audio as well as completing my oil change and tire rotation. The audio had stopped working when I changed my battery. I’m sure a dealer would have wanted to replace my audio system. The folks at Massey fixed it quickly and at a reasonable price. They have the latest equipment to do it right.All our vehicles are going to Massey for maintenance and repair.

Theyve serviced both of my cars over the years. Great service every time. Not the cheapest (or most expensive either) shop in town but they ALWAYS do a great job. Very competent diagnosis and great work every time.

Fred Massey and his staff are always helpful, especially in an emergency. One call and they have your back to make your car operable and to help in your distress. On a recent early morning call, Fred told me not to worry, that they would take care of me. They did. His tow truck driver rescued me within 15 minutes while a family member of his drove me to an emergency situation in my family. By the end of the day my car was fixed and ready to go. I know I can always count on Fred Massey.

I purchased my BMW 325ci new from Global Imports in 2006 and love it. I only have about 72k miles on it and up until about 2 years ago I serviced it regularly at Global. I then noticed that every time I brought it in, there would be some other major repair I needed...but the next time I would bring it in and ask a different repair technician about the previous recommended service (without telling them it was recommended) they would tell me it was not needed. Not to mention the repair costs and recommended maintenance were outrageous. A friend told me about Massey so I thought Id give it a try. Since then I have really enjoyed my experience with the whole team. Chris has been so honest with me about the repairs I have needed and what I dont need to do. I rarely drive my car now, as my son has adopted it but its still in great shape thanks in large part to the team at Massey!

Get a second opinion/quote on the work you are told you need done. I trusted Massey with our family cars for over 20 years. This week I was told I needed work done that I didnt and was given a very expensive quote. A friend recommended I get another mechanic to check it out because that just didnt sound right. Thank goodness I did. I saved over $400 and did NOT need the extensive work I was quoted. I am a single Mom with kids and it is Christmas. So disappointing after all these years of being a loyal trusting customer.

Massey located my dream car. I dealt mostly with Al for this and he was amazing! So helpful. I understand Massey can also help sell a car and the fee is minimal. So I wont have to have anyone coming to my home to look at the car I want to sell. Car maintenance at Massey is also great.

Over priced! Had to pay $978 for $400 job because they charge $250 in diagnostic fees and their parts are even expensive than honda dealership.

I sheared off a bolt in my water cooler while trying to resecure my thermostat after replacing it. Seeing as the bolt was flush with the threading on the watercooler, I couldnt remove it without drilling. Since I had already screwed up once, I wasnt going to chance it again. I had it towed to Massey on recommendation of a DIFFERENT local mechanic. They had the work done by noon the following business day. Good price, good turn around, good communication, no B.S. Thanks!

Have been a customer for many years and Masseys is the best! They are courteous, knowledgeable, honest, and efficient. Unlike other mechanics, they actually fix the problem the first time! I trust them and that is worth everything!

These guys were great. We used them for a truck that had engine problems after another mechanic couldnt diagnose the problem, so I decided to do the same thing. First mechanic that looked at my car told me it was a blown head gasket ($3K repair) and I started to freak out. Called these guys and they expertly diagnosed the problem (blown temperature sensor, $350). Problem solved.

Massey is a top of the line facility, have been using them over many years and I keep going back. They take care of all my cars (MB, Nissan). With Fred and Allen at the helm they have taken care not only of my vehicles but also my kids vehicles. I have always felt that they have been fair, and even more important honest in all of their services.

They not only do a good job keeping my vehicle in good working condition, but will also provide a ride home while working on my van and pick me up when it is done. Recently took our Honda Accord for a minor tune-up and trip checkup prior to a 1200 mile drive. Massey discovered a problem with our brake master cylinder which would have been dangerous for us, fixed it, gave us the rest of the trip checkup free. The car performed beautifully, and when we got home, Chris called us to make sure all went well. We have been customers since 1982 and they are all family to us. Weve been doing business with Fred and his staff for 20+ years. They have always taken care of us, and I can trust them to give it to me straight. Recently, it appeared that my car needed an alternator which would be an expensive repair. Once they got in to it a bit, they discovered it was just some pulleys. It would have been real easy to just do the alternator, but they fixed it and it ended up less than 1/2 what it would have been.We have also bought 3 cars from them and they were terrific to work with. Massey will be working on our cars as long we are still driving.

They did it! my well kept up 87 jeep cherokee was leaking from different places so bad in the carport of our new house that my wife suggested to put diapers on it!! after some research i took it to massey. they fixed it and when there was another wet spot after 2 weeks, fred asked me to bring it back. they did some more substantial work with more new parts for rather little more money. and it has been bone dry since.i have worked on cars enough to know that this would not be easy and it would not be cheap! but i have a rock solid truck now, 4 wheel drive and trailer tow for way less than buying a new or newer vehicle. i got all i was hoping for and then some. thank you!update 9 months later: still bone dry!

I have always trusted Massey Automotive for my car maintenance. The staff and mechanics are knowledgeable and thorough, and I feel my vehicle is in good running order when I leave their facility.

I recently had my 2002 Porsche Boxster towed to Massey due to what turns out to be a bad recommendation. I feel Masseys goal was to empty my wallet not to take a measured approach to the repair. If they had hooked a battery to the car and ran it in their shop for 15 minutes, connected to the diagnostics, they would have captured the actual issue. Instead they insisted on a very expensive guess. That is not what the “experts” do. Short story; they wanted $1700 to replace battery and alternator and were guessing at issue. Using a $10 OBD2 iOS program I validated the issue was what I was telling them. Cost to me is $165 for a new battery, $100 for the part and I will install it myself. Instead I paid Massey $250 for an incorrect diagnostic where nothing was done. Yes, they charged me $250 to not run OBD2 diagnostics on the car, take the bad battery out and put it back. They also documented they “serviced” the battery cables but I see no evidence of that work.Long story: First and last experience with Massey. I spoke to Al and Fred Massey. The car had an issue stalling and then not starting unless it was left for 20-30 minutes. When I spoke to Al I told him that my research strongly suggested this was the crankshaft position sensor a $100 part that is a ~ 1 hour install per several Boxster Porsche forums. I am a shade tree mechanic but this is hard to do without a lift. I also requested they should investigate the issue and that I considered them, as a professional auto repair facility, the experts. Al called back and suggested the alternator was the issue as it tested low and recommended replacing it and the battery. I agreed the battery was suspect but the alternator did not make sense to me because the battery was an issue and that if the alternator was not charging the battery it would never restart, after sitting, and that I had checked and the battery was always over 12 volts when I tried to restart the car (which is sufficient to restart the car). I then spoke to Fred Massey and he again pitched the alternator. I again mentioned the crankshaft position sensor and he would not even consider investigating it. Why? Is the customer always wrong? Massey quoted $1700 to replace the alternator and battery. That is arguable I can get same parts for $700 online and that seems very high for labor, so I declined. I had the car towed home and used a $10 ios program to capture the diags required to correctly confirm the issue. I bought the same battery on their quote (NAPA Legend} for $165 and ran the car for 15-minutes in my driveway until it died and my iOS program captured P0336 “Crankshaft Position Sensor “A” Circuit Range/Performance. I feel Massey goal was to empty my wallet not to take a measured approach to the repair. If they had hooked a battery to the car and ran it in their shop for 15 minutes, connected to their diagnostics, they would have captured the error I did. Instead they insisted on a very expensive guess. That is not what the “experts” do.

We were so pleased with the professional service we received --never going back to the dealers service department. Masseys is the best.
